Abstract

Learning method is a presentation technique that is mastered by a teacher to present subject matter to students in the class either individually or in groups so that the subject matter can be absorbed, understood and utilized by students. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning methods on motivation and learning outcomes of the skills of the midwifery student's physical examination lab. The research design used was True Experimental Design (randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design.) Independent variable learning method, dependent variable motivation, learning outcomes. Dependent variable data collection using quisioner and observation. The study population was all V semester midwifery students at Stikes Husada Jombang. Simple random sampling sampling technique with a sample of 60 students. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon statistical test between learning motivation before and after the simulation p = 0.003 where p <α (0.05), the results of the Wilcoxon statistical test between learning outcomes before and after the method obtained p = 0,000 where p <α (0.05) , While the homogeneity test using the lavene test obtained a value of p = 0,000 <value α = 0.05, meaning that the data in the sample data group were homogeneous or had the same variant.Efforts to overcome the problematic problem in the implementation of the physical examination of the baby midwifery students of Stikes Husada Jombang who have capable quality can be overcome by demonstration learning methods, simulations and role play that lead to increased learning outcomes, ie all students in the group giving learning methods are proficient in physical examination the baby and student motivation also affect the learning outcomes of the baby's physical examination lab skills.

Abstract

Food Additives (FA) or often called Food Additional Material (FAM) are ingredients added to food to influence the nature or shape of food. Addition of additives to food has a certain dose because food additives can cause health hazards. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of factors that influence the behavior of using FAM in the food traders group in the market area of the South Region Ponorogo Regency. This research is an observational analytic study. The population of this research is all traders in the market environment of the South Region Ponorogo Regency. The sampling technique used is Stratified Random Sampling. Samples taken were 105 respondents. The independent variable is knowledge and attitude, the dependent variable is the behavior of traders. Data is collected by questionnaire instruments and processed using editing, coding, scoring and tabulating then statistical tests using logistic regression test data analysis with α = 0.05. From the ordinal regression statistical test, the p-value value in the knowledge factor p = 0.005 <0.05, on the attitude factor p = 0.000 <0.05. The magnitude of influence is indicated by the value of Estimate. Knowledge variable with 2.743, while attitude variable with estimate value 26.911. Based on the results of the estimate value or the magnitude of the largest or dominant influence lies in the attitude variable with an estimated value of 26.911. So it can be concluded that the most dominant factor influencing behavior is an attitude factor with an effect of 26,911 times. In the use of food additives for the processing of food to be sold it must be appropriate and correct according to the applicable dosages and conditions.

Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis is a disease of the joints that can cause disability and is progressive in the joints which cause changes in the water content, proteoglycin content, and collagen in the joints. One of the ways to improve functional ability in osteoarthritis cases is to use isotonic and isometric training exercise. Pain is a clinical symptom of knee osteoarthritis, limiting movement due to pain over time will cause rehabilitation problems such as impaired flexibility and stability, reduction of muscle mass (atrophy). Mild and moderate intensity quadriceps strength training is effective at achieving optimal muscle strength and function without causing significant muscle damage. Destination: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of isotonic and isometric exercises on muscle strength. Research methods: This study uses a pre-experimental research type using "One Group Pre - test and Post - Test". This research has carried out the first observation (pretest) so that researchers can test the changes that occur after the treatment, and the control group. Result: with the Wilcoxon signed rank test test the isometric and isotonic groups had p = 0.000 while the control group had a significance value of p = 1,000; and the 3 groups test has different values, namely: isotonic exercise has a value of 27.67; isometric; 28.60; and control 12.73. The conclusion that can be concluded that the value of isometric training has the highest value, namely 28.60 which means it is the most effective exercise to increase the value of Manual Muscle Testing. Conclusion: There is an effect of giving isometric and isotonic exercises in strengthening the quadriceps muscles.
