Abstract

Some aspects that can affect the effectiveness and efficiency of employees' work are workload, social support, and work-life balance. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between workload and social support with work-life balance in Occupational Health and Safety employees at PT. Bumi Suksesindo Copper and Gold Banyuwangi. This research was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The subjects of this study were 28 Occupational Health and Safety manpower PT. Bumi Suksesindo Copper and Gold Banyuwangi was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Workload, social support, and work-life balance were measured by filling out a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and Spearman's correlation test. The results showed that the majority of manpower had moderate workload (64.3%), the most social support was in the moderate category (39.3%) and the most work-life balance was in the moderate category (53.6%). The r value of the correlation test for the workload factor was -0.633, the higher the workload, the lower the work-life balance; while the social support factor was 0.873, the higher the social support, the higher the work-life balance. It could be concluded that there was a relationship between workload and social support with work-life balance in Occupational Health and Safety employees at PT. Bumi Suksesindo Copper and Gold Banyuwangi.Keywords: workload; social support; work-life balance; manpower ABSTRAK Beberapa aspek yang dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas dan efisiensi dari pekerjaan karyawan ialah beban kerja, dukungan sosial, dan work-life balance. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalіѕіѕ hubungan antara beban kerja dan dukungan sosial dengan work-life balance pada karyawan Occupational Health and Safety PT. Bumi Suksesindo Copper and Gold Banyuwangi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancang bangun cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 28 manpower Occupational Health and Safety PT. Bumi Suksesindo Copper and Gold Banyuwangi yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Beban kerja, dukungan sosial, dan work-life balance diukur melalui pengisian kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas manpower memiliki beban kerja dalam kategori sedang (64,3%), dukungan sosial terbanyak adalah dalam kategori sedang (39,3%) dan work-life balance terbanyak dalam kategori sedang (53,6%). Nilai r dari uji korelasi untuk faktor beban kerja adalah -0,633, semakin tinggi beban kerja maka akan semakin rendah work-life balance; sedangkan untuk faktor dukungan sosial adalah 0,873, semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka akan semakin tinggi work-life balance. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara beban kerja dan dukungan sosial dengan work-life balance pada karyawan Occupational Health and Safety PT. Abstract

Work fatigue is a problem in occupational health and safety because it is one of the risk factors for accidents that have an impact on decreasing work productivity. This study aimed to analyze differences in work fatigue among firemen, security guards and drivers who work on a shift system at Pertamina EP Cepu JTB Zone 12 project. The research design used was cross-sectional, in which 158 employees were selected using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Work fatigue was measured through filling out questionnaires by respondents and filling out questionnaires or fatigue index scoring forms. Differences in fatigue levels by type of work and work shift were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test. The results of the analysis showed the p-value = 0.000 for differences in fatigue levels by type of work; and p-value = 0.088 for differences in fatigue levels by day and night shifts. It was concluded that differences in work fatigue occur due to differences in types of work.Keywords: work fatigue; type of work; firemen; security; drivers ABSTRAK Kelelahan kerja menjadi masalah dalam kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja karena merupakan salah satu faktor risiko terjadinya kecelakan yang berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kelelahan kerja pada fireman, security dan driver yang bekerja dengan sistem shift di Pertamina EP Cepu proyek JTB Zona 12. Desain penelitian yang diterapkan adalah cross-sectional, yang 158 karyawan yang dipilih dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Kelelahan kerja diukur melalui pengisian kuesioner oleh responden dan pengisian kuesioner atau formulir skoring indeks kelelahan. Perbedaan tingkat kelelahan menurut jenis pekerjaan dan shift kerja dianalisis menggunkan uji Kruskal-Wallis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 untuk perbedaan tingkat kelelahan menurut jenis pekerjaan; dan nilai p = 0,088 untuk perbedaan tingkat kelelahan menurut shift kerja siang dan malam. Disimpulkan bahwa perbedaan kelelahan kerja terjadi akibat perbedaan jenis pekerjaan.Kata kunci: kelelahan kerja; jenis pekerjaa; fireman; security; driver
