Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa melalui Penerapan Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Number Head Together (NHT). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek siswa kelas VIIIG SMP Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 pada materi kubus dan balok. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik pengamatan dan teknik tes. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar pengamatan guru dan siswa dan lembar tes kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa. Hasil penelitan ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan proses pembelajaran di kelas yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya aktivitas belajar siswa yang terlihat pada lembar observasi. Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa dilihat dari skor dasar ke UH I, dari UH I ke UH II. Persentase kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa yang mencapai KKM pada skor dasar adalah 36,33%, pada UH I adalah 31.74% dan pada UH II adalah 40.65%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa kelas VIIIG SMP Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016.

Abstract

Pemahaman literasi matematis sangatlah penting dimiliki oleh para guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis siswanya. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diperoleh pemahaman guru tentang literasi matematis masih belum maksimal. Artikel ini membahas implementasi program workshop bagi para guru di SMP Negeri 37 Pekanbaru dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang literasi matematis siswa. Kegiatan ini mengeksplorasi upaya yang dilakukan oleh sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru-guru matematik khususnya untuk secara efektif dapat meningkatkan literasi matematis kepada siswa. Metode workshop yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini melibatkan berbagai pendekatan pembelajaran, alat bantu, serta strategi yang didesain khusus untuk mengatasi tantangan dalam meningkatkan literasi matematis siswa. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa program workshop guru berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep literasi matematis dan diharapkan mampu mengimplementasikannya dalam pembelajaran sehari-hari. Dampak positif dari workshop ini juga tercermin dalam rencana untuk meningkatkan literasi matematis dalam bentuk tulisan untuk kemampuan literasi matematis siswa dan rencana langkah-langkah pengembangan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Artikel ini memberikan wawasan yang berguna tentang pentingnya workshop guru dalam meningkatkan literasi matematis siswa di tingkat SMP, dengan harapan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan pendidikan matematika di SMP Negeri 37 Pekanbaru serta institusi pendidikan sejenis lainnya.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya guru yang mengalami kendala dalam kenaikan penilaian angka kredit (PAK). Salah satu yang menjadi kendalanya adalah, terhambatnya para guru pada penilaian dokumen karya ilmiah. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan Pelatihan dan Workshop penelitian tindakan kelas kepada guru-guru di SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu, Jl. Purwosari, Desa pandau Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Dengan diberikanya workshop dan pelatihan ini, para guru dapat menulis proposal dan laporan penelitian tindakan kelas untuk memenuhi salah satu syarat PAK. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah: secara keseluruhan guru-guru memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap kegiatan yang dilakasankan, antusias dalam mengikuti acara tahap-demi tahap serta perlu diadakan kembali kegiatan serupa dengan materi yang berbeda. Para guru berharap bahwa kegiatan yang telah dilakukan dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi para guru untuk bertekad memperbaiki proses pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Sehingga efek jangka panjangnya adalah adanya perbaikan pada prestasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar matematika berupa RPP dan Alat Peraga. Jenis penilitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri atas tahapan-tahapan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Pada penelitian ini peneliti mengkaji hingga tahap Development (Pengembangan). Pada pengujian bahan ajar RPP dan Alat Peraga digunakan lembar validasi yang diisi oleh validator. Hasil rata-rata validasi terhadap bahan ajar RPP dan Alat Peraga diperoleh persentase 79,12%. Sehingga pengembangan alat peraga pizza pecahan tersebut termasuk dalam kategori cukup valid serta efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran tetapi perlu revisi kecil pada produk tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan pembelajaran matematika dengan alat peraga pizza pecahan pada materi bilangan pecahan bagiThis research aims to develop mathematics teaching materials in the form of lesson plans and teaching aids. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model which consists of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. In this study, researchers studied up to the Development stage. In testing lesson plan teaching materials and teaching aids, a validation sheet is used which is filled in by the validator. The average validation results for RPP teaching materials and teaching aids obtained a percentage of 79.12%. So the development of the fractional pizza props is included in the category of being quite valid and effective for use in the learning process but requires minor revisions to the product. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the development of mathematics learning using fractional pizza props in fractional number material for junior high school students has been tested for its validity.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the effect of Geogebra Assisted Direct Instruction on students' self-efficacy and self-regulation.  This is a mixed method research with a sequential explanatory strategy, while the research design is a pretest and posttest unequivalent group design.  The experimental group applied Geogebra Assisted Direct Instruction while the control group used conventional learning.  The population in this study is the third semester students who have studied Field and Space Analytic Geometry.  The research sample was selected using cluster random sampling technique.  The research instruments were self-efficacy and self-regulation questionnaires for quantitative data and interview sheets for qualitative data.  Data analysis was performed quantitatively using inferential statistical analysis and qualitatively analyzing the results of interview with students.  The results showed that there was a significant effect of geogebra-assisted direct instruction on the achievement of students' self-efficacy and self-regulation.  From the interviews it was found that the application of Geogebra-assisted Direct Instruction can facilitate the achievement of students' self-efficacy and self-regulation.

Abstract

This research is important to find out how students' creative thinking skills are in understanding the basic teaching materials of geometry. We can use this knowledge to design or develop more innovative and effective learning methods. If a student learns more about his ability to understand and apply the basic concepts of geometry, it will enable him to develop his ability further. The study aims to identify and analyze the level of students' creative geometric thinking skills on the geometrical material. The research uses qualitative descriptive methods, with data collection through tests, evaluation sections, and interviews. The research sample was taken from students in a mathematics study program at a private university in Riau Province. The tests are given to measure students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the geometry material, while the assessment and interview sections are used to gain a deeper understanding of how students use their creativity in understanding and applying the concepts of geometry so that the level of creativity can be identified. We also use interviews to validate the results of student tests. The results show that students' creative thinking skills are at the stage of identifying, describing, and understanding the basics of geometry, such as point matter, lines, and angles. Students have varying levels of understanding of visualization, analysis, and informal. Nevertheless, students have demonstrated creative thinking skills in analyzing the images given, especially on the subject where students refer to indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Although not entirely original, they are able to combine existing concepts in an informative and detailed manner. The explanations provided in the question's answer offer significant and pertinent details about the concepts of points, lines, and angles, highlighting their interrelatedness. Students can also elucidate the fundamental definitions of each concept, applying them to both visual aids and supporting evidence. Implications of this research are the development of learning methods and strategies, increased student understanding and creativity in applying concepts of geometry and providing insight into how best to evaluate and evaluate creative thinking skills in a geometric context. Penelitian ini penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam memahami materi dasar geometri. Pengetahuan ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk merancang atau mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan efektif. Jika mahasiswa mengetahui lebih banyak tentang kemampuannya dalam memahami dan menerapkan konsep materi dasar geometri, maka memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk dapat mengembangkan kamampuannya lebih jauh lagi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis tingkat keterampilan berpikir kreatif geometris mahasiswa pada materi geometri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriftif kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui tes, rubrik penilaian dan wawancara. Sampel penelitian diambil dari mahasiswa program studi matematika di sebuah universitas swasta di Provinsi Riau. Tes diberikan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis mahasiswa dalam materi geometri, sementara rubrik penilaian dan wawancara digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana mahasiswa menggunakan kreativitas mereka dalam memahami dan menerapkan konsep geometri, sehingga tingkat kreatifitas dapat diidentifikasi. Wawancara juga digunakan untuk menguatkan hasil tes mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa berada pada tahap mengidentifikasi, menggambarkan, dan memahami dasar-dasar geometri seperti: materi titik, garis, dan sudut. Mahasiswa mampu mencapai tingkat pemahaman visualisasi, analisis, dan informal. Meskipun demikian, mahasiswa telah menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam menganalisis gambar-gambar yang diberikan, terutama pada soal yang mendosong mahasiswa menujukkan indikator fluency, flexibility, originality, dan elaboration. Walaupun tidak sepenuhnya orisinal, mereka mampu menggabungkan konsep-konsep yang ada dengan cara yang informatif dan rinci. Penjelasan yang dituliskan dalam menjawab soal memberikan informasi yang berarti dan relevan tentang konsep titik, garis, dan sudut, sehingga dapat dimaknai ketiga konsep ini saling terkait satu sama lain. Mahasiswa juga dapat menjelaskan ketiga konsep tersebut secara detail sehingga definisi dasar masing-masing konsep dapat dijelaskan dan dapat diaplikasikan baik dalam gambar maupun pembuktian. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah pengembangan metode dan strategi pembelajaran, peningkatan pemahaman dan kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam menerapkan konsep-konsep geometri, dan memberikan wawasan tentang cara terbaik untuk menilai dan mengevaluasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif dalam konteks geometri.

Abstract

SMPN 37 Pekanbaru has implemented the Merdeka curriculum but has not been implemented optimally. SMPN 37 Pekanbaru also has driving teachers who can support the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum in schools. However, there are still several things related to the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum that need intensive assistance. This community service activity aims to provide assistance in the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum for teachers at SMP Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. Through assistance in the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum, it is hoped that teachers at SMP Negeri 37 Pekanbaru will have a deeper understanding of the Merdeka curriculum and be ready to implement the Merdeka curriculum properly in the 2023/2024 academic year. This community service activity was carried out at SMPN 37 Pekanbaru with participants, namely 30 teachers of SMPN 37 Pekanbaru. The material in this activity is about aspects of the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum which include KOSP planning, ATP design, learning and assessment planning, use and development of teaching materials. This activity has many benefits for teachers, namely teachers are better prepared to implement the Merdeka curriculum and have the correct understanding and information about the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of students' mathematics anxiety and student learning outcomes after using the PMB IT module. The type of this research is Pre-Experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The instruments used are student mathematics anxiety questionnaire sheets and student response questionnaires, while student learning outcomes can be seen after the UAS exam. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. For data processing, the writer used SPSS 16 software and Microsoft Excel 2013. The students' mathematical anxiety data obtained were analyzed descriptively and student learning outcomes data were processed using Inferential Statistics One-Sample T-Test. The results showed that the level of students' mathematics anxiety after using the PMBIT module decreased by an average of 11.55. While the level of students' mathematics anxiety after using the module in the low, medium, and high categories, respectively, was 40.5%, 56.8%, and 2.7%. Furthermore, there is an increase in student mathematics learning outcomes using the PMBIT Module with sig. 0.029 and a mean of 81.59

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for evaluation instruments because at SMKN 3 Pekanbaru does not hold school exams so that student assessments are taken from daily exercises at the end of learning. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality and learning outcomes of students using wordwall-based evaluation instruments. This type of development research uses the R&D (Reasearch and Development) model which has been modified into 8 stages, namely potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trials, product revision and trial use. The data collection techniques used in this study were validation sheets, student and teacher response sheets and student learning outcomes tests using wordwall-based evaluation instruments. The research subjects were E phase students of SMKN 3 Pekanbaru. The results of the wordwall-based evaluation instrument validation test were 88.29% with a very valid category. The results of the practicality test of wordwall-based evaluation instruments based on teacher and learner response sheets were 91.75% with a very practical category. The learning outcomes of students using wordwall-based evaluation instruments were 92.59% with a very good category.

Abstract

The needs for teachers to be promoted by creating scientific articles requires fast AI media to help paraphrase sentences to avoid plagiarism. Especially teachers at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru Riau, most of whom are applying for their promotion so that AI Quillbolt is a media to help avoid plagiarism so that training is needed to use Quillbolt paraphrasing with the aim of three main factors, namely: increasing (1) teachers' knowledge about Quillbot, which is able to identify and implement existing technology in the field of education (2) The second component, partner teachers where the insight, ability of teachers in this school understands the reasons for mastering renewable technology for the implementation of efficiency and effectiveness in the school system and (3) The third component is that partner teachers in this school have the ability to take action in certain situations with the aim of building ideas about the focus of using renewable technology for school progress with responsive behavior to environmental situations, understanding events, and then evaluating the existing educational technology system and has been mastered verbally and in writing. From this community service activity, it was found that the teachers had mastered the use of Quilbolt paraphrasing to prepare articles that would be used as material for their promotion, so this Quilbolt AI was very helpful to them
