Abstract

Kurang optimalnya pelaksanaan program penghijauan setiap tahunnya menyebabkan kawasan pesisir Wini belum mengalami perubahan ke arah perbaikan. Pesisir Wini merupakan area pantai yang terbuka sehingga upaya penghijauan di tempat ini perlu melalui perlakuan khusus misalnya rekayasa lingkungan dengan perangkap sedimen. Untuk mengatasi kondisi pesisir terbuka seperti ini maka perlu adanya pemecah gelombang menggunakan model yang ramah, murah dan sederhana sehingga mudah di aplikasikan oleh masyarakat pesisir yang peduli terhadap kelestarian pesisir. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah penerapan struktur hybrid berbahan organik sebagai model pemecah gelombang. Untuk keberhasilan penerapannya maka masyarakat perlu di berikan penyuluhan agar mampu dalam penerapannya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat pesisir sangat antusias menerima masukan IPTEK yang diberikan Tim Pengabdi. Masyarakat memahami pembuatan struktur hybrid dan mampu menerapkannya. Sebanyak 150 anakan mangrove yang ditaman di belakang bangunan struktu hybrid. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan ini pemerintah setempat dapat menjadikan kegiatan ini sebagai agenda kerja rutin agar mangrove yang rusak dapat pulih Kembali.

Abstract

Ecotourism is a form of tourism that contains conservation principles. The establishment of mangrove areas in Dualaus Village for ecotourism activities is the right strategy for ecosystem sustainability because it is ecologically and economically beneficial for the local community. However, efforts as an ecotourism area require an assessment of the suitability of ecotourism and the carrying capacity of the area. The purpose of this study is to assess the suitability of ecotourism and physical carrying capacity, so it can be used as a guideline for mangrove ecotourism management policies. Data collection is done through surveys and observations. Data are analyzed spatially with a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach that refers to the mangrove ecotourism suitability matrix. Furthermore, it proceeds with an assessment of the carrying capacity of the area to determine the number of visitors that can be accommodated. The results show that the ecotourism suitability index at the research site is a suitable category of 23.5 hectares, consisting of ESI 82.33% covering 15.5 ha and ESI 69.67% covering 8 ha. While an area of 5 ha is categorized as conditionally suitable with an ESI of 44.67%. Based on physical conditions, the carrying capacity for tracking activities is of 45 people/day, fishing of 199 people/day, picnicking of 158 people/day, and bird watching of 9 people/day. The total calculation of the carrying capacity of the ecotourism area is 459 people/day. Meanwhile, the real conditions in the field show 260 people/day. This informs that the number of tourists in the Dualaus Village ecotourism area does not exceed the maximum threshold. With this concept, it will be able to reduce the occurrence of damage to natural resources and the environment.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKehidupan masyarakat, Desa Oelami, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara sangat bergantung dari hasil tanaman sayur-sayuran. Untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman, dibutuhkan ketersediaan air yang cukup. Embung merupakan sumber air satu-satunya yang ada di Dusun Beba dengan kapasitas tampung sebesar 18.000 m3. Ketersediaan embung bagi masyarakat tersebut belum dapat mencukupi kebutuhan usaha tani sebab pada musim kemarau debit embung mengalami penurunan. Akibatnya luas lahan usaha tani tidak bertambah terutama lahan tanaman cabai. Dampak bagi Kelompok Tani Cahaya Baru Mitra I adalah tidak dapat menghasilkan produksi yang maksimal. Mitra II Iptek bagi Masyarakat (IbM) adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani. Kelompok ini merupakan pengembangan dari Kelompok Cahaya Baru yang bertanggung jawab pada pemasaran hasil. Rata-rata pendidikan anggota wanita tani umumnya tamatan sekolah dasar. Dengan pengetahuan yang minim, mereka mengalami kesulitan dalam pemasaran menggunakan alat timbang sehingga cabai sering dijual dengan cara ditumpuk. Metode yang diterapkan pada kegiatan ini yakni pendampingan teknis, penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Pendampingan teknis antara lain melalui pemasangan instalasi irigasi tetes dan pemasangan mulsa plastik. Penyuluhan yang diberikan adalah tentang analisa usaha tani. Pelatihan meliputi pengelolaan air dan keterampilan menggunakan alat timbang. Kebutuhan air sebelum irigasi tetes 15.000 liter. Setelah menggunakan irigasi tetes, kebutuhan air 8.800 liter. Terjadi penghematan air sebanyak 6.200 liter. Selain itu, dengan teknologi irigasi tetes pemanfaatan air lebih efektif baik tenaga maupun waktu penyiraman. Analisis usaha menunjukkan bahwa omzet finansial kelompok Mitra IbM meningkat setelah dilakukan perluasan lahan usaha dengan teknologi irigasi tetes. Penerapan teknik irigasi tetes pada lahan tanaman cabai menguntungkan kelompok mitra.Kata Kunci : Irigasi, tetes, cabai.ABSTRACTThe society life of Oelami village, North Central Timor Regency denpends on agricultural produce such as vegetables. To support crop result and growth, required by the availability of water. Embungis the only one source of water in Beba sub-village with capacities 18.000 m3, but it is still answered the demand of requirement of farming because in dry season the capcity is degradation. As a result the farming farm do not increase especially chilly crop farm. The affect for Cahaya Baru Mitra I groupcannot produce maximal production. Partner II activity of this IbM is woman farmer group. This group represents development from Cahaya Baru group that has responsibilty on marketing result of. Education of Woman Farmer groupis at elementary school. By having the minimum education,they have problems in measuring the the size of chilly. The method used in this activity is technical supervising, counselling and training. The technical supervising covers the drop irrigation installation and plastic mulsa installation while training covers management the water and skill to use weighed. The use of drop irrigation can economize water of 6.200 liters from previous total requirement namely 15.000 liters. Is alaso efective for the watering and time allocation. It is known that the results of marketing higher after the extent of Cahaya Baru Group.Keywords : Drop, Irigation, chilly

Abstract

The Prima Mandiri Joint Business Group (KUB) and the Melati KUB are groups that process medicinal plant rhizomes located in Usapinonot Village, West Insana District, North Central Timor Regency (TTU), East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT). These two groups have been established since 2006 and are still producing on a limited basis with only one type of product, which is a high-sugar instant concentrate drink. Based on the FGD conducted by the PDB Implementation Team, it was agreed to implement a program to produce herbal medicine products in capsule form. The purpose of this activity is to train KUBs to produce diversified products from medicinal plant rhizomes in the form of capsules, such as temulawak and turmeric herbal capsules, and to enhance the profile of the Village as a Traditional Herbal Enterprises Village. There were 38 participants in the activity. The method of implementing this activity includes stages of providing education about herbal medicine (jamu) and its benefits based on references from scientific publication articles, processing rhizomes, hands-on practice using equipment to make jamu powder, how to fill jamu powder into capsule shells, and preparing packaging labels so that the jamu capsule products can be marketed more widely. The training was conducted at the Usapinonot Village Office on July 17, 2025. The training products consisted of 60 bottles of jamu capsules, each containing 60 capsules per bottle. The results of this training activity were measured using pre-tests and post-tests for all participants, with results showing an increase in group members' knowledge about jamu capsules by 65%, an increase in participants' skills in using the capsules-making equipment by 70%, and an increase in skills in making jamu capsules by 75%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Program Kosabangsa di Desa Oepuah Selatan, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara, dilaksanakan sebagai upaya mengatasi rendahnya produktivitas usaha rumah tangga dan tingginya prevalensi stunting yang dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan akses pangan bergizi dan pengelolaan usaha berbasis teknologi. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi, manajemen, dan pemasaran kelompok industri rumah tangga berbasis ikan, serta memperkuat peran Posyandu dalam pengelolaan pangan lokal bergizi dan digitalisasi layanan gizi balita. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, workshop, pendampingan, dan penerapan teknologi tepat guna yang dilaksanakan secara partisipatif. Peserta kegiatan terdiri atas Kelompok Industri Rumah Tangga Nekmese sebanyak 27 orang dan kader Posyandu Desa Oepuah Selatan sebanyak 20 orang. Evaluasi program dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, angket kepuasan mitra, dan analisis capaian indikator kinerja program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan teknis dan manajerial mitra industri sebesar 40% pada aspek produksi dan pengemasan, serta peningkatan penjualan produk olahan ikan sebesar 30%. Pada mitra Posyandu, sebanyak 80% kader mampu mengoperasikan sistem pencatatan gizi berbasis digital secara mandiri, disertai peningkatan kesadaran gizi masyarakat. Program ini berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan nilai ekonomi produk lokal, memperkuat kapasitas layanan gizi masyarakat desa, serta menjadi model kolaborasi pemberdayaan berbasis teknologi dan potensi lokal yang berkelanjutan.Abstract: The Kosabangsa Program in Oepuah Selatan Village, North Central Timor Regency, was implemented to address low household business productivity and high stunting prevalence resulting from limited access to nutritious food and inadequate technology-based enterprise management. This program aimed to enhance production capacity, managerial competence, and marketing of fish-based home industries, as well as to strengthen the role of Posyandu in managing nutritious local food and digitalizing child nutrition services. The implementation methods included socialization, training, workshops, mentoring, and the application of appropriate technology through a participatory approach. The program participants consisted of 27 members of the Nekmese Home Industry Group and 20 cadres of the Oepuah Selatan Posyandu. Program evaluation was conducted through direct observation, partner satisfaction surveys, and performance indicator analysis. The results demonstrated a 40% increase in technical and managerial competencies related to production and packaging, along with a 30% increase in sales of processed fish products. Among Posyandu partners, 80% of cadres were able to independently operate digital nutrition recording systems, accompanied by increased community nutrition awareness. This program contributes to enhancing the economic value of local products, strengthening community-based nutrition services, and providing a sustainable model of technology-driven and locally grounded empowerment.
