Abstract

The learning model should be a consideration for teachers to enrich the learning steps they will undertake. One of the ways to develop teaching variations is by utilizing learning models. In developing the variation of teaching, of course it is not arbitrary, but there is a goal to be achieved, namely increasing and maintaining students' attention to the relevance of the teaching and learning process, providing opportunities for the functioning of motivation, forming positive attitudes and encouraging students to learn. The purpose of this study was to find out the description of social studies learning models in Makassar Nusantara Middle School. The type used in this research is qualitative research because the data collected is not in the form of numbers but the data comes from observations, interviews and documentation. This study includes descriptive qualitative research that tends to use analysis with inductive reasoning patterns. The results of this research can be seen that the description of social studies learning models in Makassar Nusantara Makassar is using several learning models including STAD type cooperative learning models, Jigsaw learning models, bassed learnig problem learning models, mind mapping learning models, and discovery learning learning models.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) An overview of the dynamics of traditional bekel and crankball games among millennials in Mario Village, Libureng District, Bone Regency 2) Knowing the factors influencing children in Mario Village, Libureng sub-district, Bone Regency choosing modern games compared to traditional bekel ball games and crank. 3) Knowing how the existence of the traditional game of bekel and crank ball in Mario Village, Libureng District, Bone Regency in the millennial era. This type of research used is qualitative. This research method uses data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Researchers obtain data through a process that includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show 1) An overview of the dynamics of traditional bekel and crankball games in the millennial generation of Mario Village, Libureng District, Bone Regency, namely: slow or fast changes, small and big changes. 2) The factors that influence children in Mario Village, Libureng District, Bone Regency, choose modern games compared to traditional bekel and crankball games, namely: innovation, invention, adaptation, adaptation. 3) The existence of traditional bekel and crankball games in Mario Village, Libureng sub-district, Bone Regency in the millennial era, namely: Existence, circumstances.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with the aim of describing the types and meanings of presuppositions contained in the actors of the demands in the film Layangan Putus by Benni Setiawan. The research data is the story of the actors in the film Kite Disconnect. The source of the data in this study was the film Layangan Disconnect which was downloaded via the WeTV application. Data collection techniques are document techniques, observation, listening, and note taking. The results of the study show that the types and meanings of the presuppositions contained in the speech in the film Layangan Putus by Benni Setiawan are factual presuppositions stating the meaning of real information or a fact, non-active presuppositions stating meanings that are not true or unreal, counterfactual presuppositions stating the meaning of something that is wrong and contrary to reality, Existential presuppositions state the meaning of identity existence, structural presuppositions state the use of question words to state information that is considered true, and lexical presuppositions state implied or different meanings from what is said. dominant lexical presuppositions were found, while few counterfactual presuppositions.

Abstract

This article examines the changes and reconstruction of gender roles in Siri’ na Pacceculture, a tradition rich in cultural and social values, in the modern era. The research employs a qualitative approach using observation, interview and content analysis techniques to gain an in-depth understanding of how gender roles in Siri’ na Pacce Culture have transformed, as well as the challenges and opportunities it faces in the modern era. The results show that Siri’ na Pacce culture has undergone a process of gender role reconstruction influenced by various factors, including globalization, modernization, and evolving social dynamics. Although there have been significant changes in gender perceptions and practices, the tradition also faces challenges in maintaining its cultural values and norms amidst modernization. The study also identifies new opportunities that have emerged in the reconstruction of gender roles in Siri’ na Pacce culture, such as women’s active participation in traditional activities that were previously considered male-dominated, as well as the adoption of more inclusive and egalitarian gender values in society. As such, this article makes an important contribution to the understanding of the dynamics of gender roles in Siri’ na Pacce culture in the modern era, as well as highlighting the challenges and opportunities faced in the reconstruction process. The implications of these findings can guide efforts to preserve and develop sustainable and inclusive local cultures in the future.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan peningkatan kompetensi guru di era digital semakin penting, terutama dalam bidang pengajaran berbasis teknologi. Guru IPS SMP diharapkan mampu menyusun bahan ajar yang lebih interaktif dan inovatif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Pelatihan ini bertujuan membantu guru memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pengembangan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan kurikulum dan kebutuhan peserta didik. Sasaran dari pelatihan ini adalah perwakilan guru-guru yang mengajar mata pelajaran IPS di jenjang SMP di Kabupaten Jeneponto. Hasil dari pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru IPS SMP di Kabupaten Jeneponto, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia  dalam merancang bahan ajar yang inovatif dan relevan dengan perkembangan zaman. Guru terampil menggunakan media visual dan audio, serta mulai mengeksplorasi penggunaan aplikasi pendidikan berbasis daring untuk memperkaya bahan ajar, seperti Google Classroom, Kahoot, dan Quizizz. Dengan solusi yang terarah, pelatihan ini dapat memberikan dampak yang lebih signifikan dan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru  IPS dalam merancang bahan ajar yang inovatif dan interaktif.Abstract. The need for increased teacher competence in the digital era is increasingly important, especially in the field of technology-based teaching. Junior high school social studies teachers are expected to be able to develop more interactive and innovative teaching materials to increase students' interest in learning. This training aims to help teachers utilize digital technology to develop teaching materials that are in accordance with the curriculum and the needs of students. The target audience of this training was representatives of teachers who teach social studies at the junior high school level in Jeneponto District. The results of this training proved effective in making a real contribution in improving the competence of junior high school social studies teachers in Jeneponto District, South Sulawesi, Indonesia in designing innovative and relevant teaching materials. Teachers are skilled at using visual and audio media and have begun to explore the use of online-based educational applications to enrich teaching materials, such as Google Classroom, Kahoot and Quizizz. With a targeted solution, this training can have a more significant and sustainable impact in improving the competence of social studies teachers in designing innovative and interactive teaching materials.

Abstract

Masalah bullying masih menjadi perhatian di berbagai lingkungan, termasuk panti asuhan. Anak-anak yang tinggal di panti asuhan seringkali mengalami kerentanan psikologis yang lebih tinggi, sehingga mereka berisiko menjadi korban bullying. Edukasi mengenai cara mengatasi bullying melalui kelompok bimbingan menjadi salah satu upaya penting dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak-anak di panti asuhan. Program edukasi anti-bullying bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman anak-anak panti asuhan tentang bullying, serta memberikan strategi untuk mencegah dan mengatasi perilaku bullying. Sasaran program adalah anak di panti asuhan Guppi Kecamtan Tallo Kota Makassar dengan harapan dapat menciptakan lingkungan panti asuhan yang aman dan inklusif. Melalui peningkatan pemahaman tentang bullying, penguatan kepercayaan diri, dan pengembangan keterampilan sosial, anak-anak mampu menghadapi tantangan sosial dengan lebih baik. Meskipun ada tantangan dalam pelaksanaannya, hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan signifikan dalam pemahaman anak-anak tentang bullying. Perubahan ini menunjukan efekttivitas program edukasi  dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan mendukung di panti asuhan Guppi Kecamatan Tallo Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Teacher creativity in teaching character education values is very important, especially in local contexts that are rich in cultural wisdom. This study aims to determine the creativity of social studies teachers in integrating character education values based on Bugis local wisdom into learning. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method at SMP Negeri 2 Makassar. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with social studies teachers, and document analysis related to learning based on Bugis local wisdom. The data source comes from SMP Negeri 2 Makassar which has a Bugis cultural background. The results showed that the creativity of social studies teachers in integrating character education values based on Bugis local wisdom into social studies learning is to use a variety of creative methods, such as the use of Bugis folklore, traditional simulations, research projects on local culture, the use of digital visual media, environmental contextual learning, and developing character attitudes and behaviors proved effective in this study. The conclusion is that social studies teachers play a key role in internalizing Bugis local wisdom values into learning. Therefore, it is important for schools and the government to continue to support the development of teachers' creativity in integrating local wisdom into the curriculum

Abstract

Abstrak. Kekeringan merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang sering terjadi di Indonesia, terutama di daerah-daerah yang terdampak fenomena El Niño. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi model mitigasi bencana kekeringan di Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang, serta mengevaluasi keterlibatan masyarakat dalam upaya mitigasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BPBD Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang memainkan peran penting dalam mitigasi kekeringan melalui distribusi air bersih, pembangunan sumur bor, dan program reboisasi. Namun, keterlibatan masyarakat dalam upaya mitigasi masih terbatas, terutama pada tahap pra-bencana. Partisipasi masyarakat cenderung meningkat ketika bencana sudah terjadi, dengan kontribusi dalam bentuk gotong royong dan pengelolaan sumber daya air lokal. Dampak kekeringan terhadap masyarakat meliputi penurunan hasil panen, peningkatan harga pangan, serta masalah kesehatan terkait kurangnya akses air bersih. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara pemerintah dan masyarakat diperlukan untuk memperkuat mitigasi kekeringan yang berkelanjutan. Pemerintah daerah disarankan untuk meningkatkan edukasi tentang mitigasi dan memperluas program berbasis komunitas. Kata Kunci: Mitigasi; Kekeringan; Keterlibatan Masyarakat; BPBD
