Abstract

This research is based on the result of the author’s observation of the supervision process which in its implementation is still not running effectively in SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The purpose of this research is to obtain data on the teacher’s view on supervision activities seen in the following indicators: supervision planning, supervision implementation, supervision evaluation and follow-up supervision results. This research uses descriptive research using quantitative methods. The population in this study was all civing servant teachers in SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi which amounted to 80 people, and the amount of samples taken from respondents was 74 people. The sample withdrawal in this study uses proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data obtained has been tested for validity and reliability. The average formulation is used in processing data in this study. The data showed the teacher’s view of supervision activities: (1) planning scored with an average of 4,28 good categories; (2) implementation of getting a score with an average of 4,35 good average (3) evaluation gets a score with an average of 4,34 good category; (4) follow-up result get a score with a good category average of 4,33. The results obtained in this study were about the teacher’s view of the process of obtaining a score with an average of 4,33 good categories. The data obtained has been tested for validity and reliability. The average formulation is used in processing data in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh informasi dan menggambarkan tentang kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dalam mengelola guru. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu guru SMK N 1 Painan yang berjumlah 96 orang, dengan besar sampel 49 orang yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen dari penelitian ini ialah angket dengan model Skala Likert. Angket telah uji validitas dan reliabilitas sebelum disebarkan dengan aplikasi SPSS 25.0. Bahan yang terkumpul diolah dengan mencari skor rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dilihat dari (1) Merencanakan kebutuhan guru memperoleh junlah nilai rata- rata 4,2 dengan klasifikasi sangat mampu. (2) Mengelola pembinaan dan pengembangan profesional guru mendapatkan nilai rata- rata 4,0 berada di klasifikasi mampu. (3) Mengelola pemberian kesejahteraan guru mendapatkan nilai rata- rata 3,4 berada pada klasifikasi mampu.

Abstract

Most of the furniture industries / SMEs in West Sumatra still use the traditional cost system in calculating the cost of goods manufactured. In addition, furniture SMEs in West Sumatra still use technology to make it easier to process data. In addition, in other studies it was found that in Indonesia the use of information technology by SMEs is still low compared to large companies. Even though the use of information technology can increase the competitiveness of SMEs. Many things have caused the low use of information technology by SMEs. One of them is the lack of knowledge of the potential of information technology to advance business. Therefore, the importance of using information technology to increase the competitiveness of SMEs, and the need to use the ABC method in calculating the cost of production, the Department of Industrial Engineering, Andalas University provides assistance, training, and coaching to furniture SMEs in West Sumatra. With this activity it will make it easier for SMEs to manage direct raw material costs, direct labor costs, overhead costs and calculate activity-based cost of production as well as make it easier for SMEs to produce activity-based cost of production reports using computer-assisted software, so that SME furniture competitiveness is created. higher level to be able to win the competition and create a better pattern of university partnerships.

Abstract

Nowadays, consumers are getting smarter in choosing products, including food products. Food safety is an important thing that must be considered by the food industry. Unsafe food production can only be done because of food, product needs, lengthy legal process, but can also damage the community. Customer needs demand certainty from the food provided in a way that meets food safety standards, from the garden to the table. To fulfill this reason, all parties involved in the food production process must know and understand well matters related to food procurement standards for the products produced. Rendang is one of the traditional foods of West Sumatra that has begun worldwide. This requires the need to produce rendang with food safety standards is very important. Based on this, within the framework of the Community Service Department of Industrial Engineering UNAND conducts training / technical guidance related to the rendang food procurement standards with training on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This activity was expected to help Small and Medium Enterprises to get business standardization.

Abstract

The polemic of unemployed women is getting worse because in choosing a job, women often think about work that does not interfere with their routine as housewives. In addition, there is also a labor market that does not accept female workers, either single or married, for reasons that are sometimes illogical. Even though the abilities and skills of women are no less good and there are no differences with men. This is also a major factor why many women are unemployed. As a result, it becomes a factor of poverty. Given the importance of this problem, it is necessary to implement ways to overcome them, especially in reducing the number unemployment. The solution to this problem is quite easy, as long as it is given a job, the unemployment problem will be resolved. However, in practice it is not that easy. To open new jobs requires substantial funds, in addition to funds, it is necessary to provide entrepreneurship training for the unemployed so that the unemployed have skills capital in the world of work to be involved. As a scientific discipline, entrepreneurship can be studied and taught, so that every individual has the opportunity to appear as an entrepreneur (entrepreneur). Even to be a successful entrepreneur, having talent is not enough, you also need to have knowledge of all aspects of the business that you will be engaged in. The tasks of entrepreneurship are very many, including the task of making decisions, technical leadership, and leadership, therefore facilities and infrastructure are needed, one of which is education.

Abstract

HCI is a study of planning and designing computer systems that aims to help human activities more productive and safe when interacting with computer (Preece, 1994). HCI leads to the design of computer systems which is suitable for user’s needs, commonly known as usability. Usability helps systems easy to use and to learn either by individuals or groups. The research is conducted to analyze and evaluate the usability of video games. There are ten usability principles made by Nielsen (1993). However, only eight principles are relevant to be used as variables in evaluating the usability of games. This study uses a questionnaire as a research instrument with a Likert scale as the scale of measurement.Results show that from eight usability variables, video games meet the 7 from 8 variables of usability indicated that video games are generally usable. In order to increase usability, convenience, and satisfaction of video games, it’s recommended to improve "recognition rather than recall" aspect.Keywords : Computers, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), video games, usability

Abstract

Every company activity is carried out by human resources, a valuable asset for the company. If a company has competent, loyal and tough employees, then, of course, the company’s progress can be seen more quickly. The turnover phenomenon is one of the problems that are often faced by companies, including those faced by the management of Company XYZ, a branch of banking company in West Sumatra. Thus, it is necessary to know the factors influencing turnover intention, including job satisfaction, job stress, and moving from conventional banks. This study aims to measure and analyze the effect of these three variables on employee turnover intention and analyze the critical factors at Company XYZ. Quantitative research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the population with 99 respondents. The data analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart-PLS software. The study results found that job satisfaction had a negative and insignificant effect on turnover intention. Furthermore, work stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. The last variable is hijrah from conventional banks, a critical factor that positively influences turnover intention with a t-value of 6.350.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to obtain information about organizational culture at the Padang Industrial Training Center in terms of values ​​in terms of: trust, cooperation, responsibility, familiarity and openness. This research is descriptive research. The population of this study were all employees at the Padang Industrial Training Center, totaling 39 employees (population research). The instrument used was a Likert scale model questionnaire that had been tested to see its validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the mean (average) formula. The result of this research is the organizational culture at the Padang Industrial Training Center, seen from the value of (1) trust gets an average score of 4.02 (2) cooperation. Gets an average score of 4.01 (3) responsibility gets. score. average 3.92 (4) familiarity got. average score 3.76 (5) openness got an average score of 3.9. So the Organizational Culture at the Padang Industrial Training Center is in the good category with an average score of 3.92

Terdapat masalah dalam perhitungan PJU non meteran yaitu biaya tagihan listrik yang dibayarkan tidak sesuai dengan penggunaan energi listrik, perhitungan tarif tagihan listrik PJU non meteran mengacu pada SK Direksi PT. PLN No. 025.E/012/DIR/2002 dan SK Dir Nomor 022.E/012/DIR/2003. Tingginya tagihan listrik PJU non meteran berdampak pada tagihan bulanan PJU, Maka dari itu, upaya efisiensi dalam penggunaan energi pada penerangan jalan umum diharapkan dapat menghemat anggaran Pemerintah Daerah dan membantu pemerintah dalam pengelolaan energi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis upaya efisiensi penggunaan PJU non meteran dengan metode analisa/perhitungan/rumusan/studi kasus benefit cost ratio (BCR) untuk menemukan model efisiensi yang tepat di Kabupaten Solok. Studi dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data berupa kondisi PJU yang terpasang di seluruh wilayah Kabupaten Solok. Berdasarkan hasil survey inventarisasi PJU antara PT. PLN dan Pemda Kabupaten Solok yang dilaksanakan pada Bulan Februari 2021 didapatkan jumlah titik PJU non meteran sebanyak 5.030 titik dimana 3.123 titik atau 62% PJU non meteran menggunakan lampu tipe pelepas gas yang tidak hemat energi. Dengan kondisi penggunaan lampu tidak hemat energi lebih mendominasi pada PJU non meteran di Kabupaten Solok, terlihat sebuah peluang efisiensi biaya tagihan dengan penggantian seluruh lampu pelepas gas menjadi lampu hemat energi, yaitu LED 50W. Jumlah tagihan bulanan PJU di Kabupaten solok yaitu Rp 519.440.115 yang terdiri dari PJU non meteran sejumlah Rp 438.070.396 dan tagihan PJU meteran sebesar Rp 81.396.719

Abstract

Sanjai Rina is one of the small and medium industries (SMEs) that produces and sells sanjai chips. This study aims to identify aspects that cause rejected production in Sanjai Rina. This study uses the Statistical Process Control (SPC) method with the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approach. The stages of the research started with problem identification, brainstorming, FMEA calculations, and recommendations for improvement. Identifying problems using the required to-quality method and IPO diagrams followed by brainstorming to identify the existing problems using fishbone diagrams in more detail. FMEA calculations design a questionnaire for RPN FMEA calculations by considering severity, occurrence, and detection weighting. The resulting rejected products are broken sanjai, burnt sanjai, and non-crispy sanjai chips. The research results found that the highest cause for each cause of rejection was the same, namely the potential due to low worker skill failure with an RPN FMEA value of 409.6. Several solutions can be proposed from this research, while the priority solutions are making work SOPs and making work instructions for the frying section.
