Abstract

The lack of Pancasila character building in students is due to the factor of the lack of understanding of Islamic values that students need to know. The lack of Pancasila character building in students will result in the low formation of national character and the occurrence of social problems in students. Islamic values are a form of life principles taught by Islam. in its application, the values of Pancasila have a connection with Islamic values. Therefore Islamic values can help create the character of Pancasila in students. The method used in this paper is the literature study method. The data written is sourced from literature, such as articles and journals. The results of this paper are in the form of application in the formation of Pancasila character in students associated with Islamic values. From this paper it is concluded that the character of Pancasila can be formed through the cultivation of Islamic values, with the presence of Islamic values in students will be able to help students to become more Indonesian people who are oriented towards the character of Pancasila in students. With the formation of Pancasila character in students, it is hoped that it can build the character of the nation and avoid social problems.

Abstract

Pendampingan mendongeng sebelum tidur memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter anak di Desa Cibodas, Kecamatan Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Mendongeng sebelum tidur tidak hanya menyediakan hiburan, tetapi juga memberikan peluang bagi pengembangan karakter anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak dari workshop dan pendampingan mendongeng dalam membentuk karakter anak di wilayah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa workshop dan pendampingan mendongeng dapat memperkuat nilai-nilai positif seperti keberanian, kerjasama, dan empati pada anak-anak. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga membantu meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi dan imajinasi anak. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya mendongeng dalam konteks pembentukan karakter anak di lingkungan Desa Cibodas. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar lebih banyak mendukung dan mengadakan kegiatan serupa dalam rangka memberikan manfaat yang lebih luas bagi perkembangan anak-anak di wilayah tersebut

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' lack of knowledge regarding cultural diversity in Indonesia. This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of students on cultural diversity material that needs to be improved. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Cultural Diversity Interactive Card (KIBU) media in improving the learning outcomes of phase C students on cultural diversity material in Indonesia. This study used pretest and posttest instruments as many twenty multiple-choice questions in each class. This study used a quantitative research model with a Quasi-Experimental research design. The sample of this study was phase C students in one of the elementary schools in Bandung City with a sample of 52 students. The collected data was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26 version. The results of this study obtained data on the difference in improving student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. The average result increased by 38.46 in the experimental class, and 9.61 in the control class. In the experimental class, the average N-Gain value was 73.67 and showed an increase in the high category and in the control class of 16.57 with the low category. Therefore, the use of KIBU media is declared effective in improving student learning outcomes on cultural diversity material in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pemahaman konsep peserta didik yang rendah terhadap materi norma dikarenakan belum dibuatnya modul ajar mengenai materi tersebut sehingga pembelajaran menjadi tidak maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan modul ajar Tanoma berbasis pendekatan saintifik sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman konsep pada materi norma di fase C sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu metode D&D (Design and Development) dengan prosedur penelitian ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluation). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen, angket, dan tes dengan teknik analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi skor rata-rata dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli pembelajaran sebelum dan setelah revisi yaitu 96,2% dan  100% pada kategori “sangat baik”. Hasil implementasi modul ajar Tanoma berbasis pendekatan saintifik  kepada peserta didik fase C menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pada nilai pre-test dan post-test dari rata-rata 51,1 menjadi 91,4. Selain itu, hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan rata-rata 0,83 yang termasuk pada kategori “tinggi”. Dengan demikian, modul ajar Tanoma berbasis pendekatan saintifik sangat  layak untuk digunakan dan dapat mengupayakan peningkatan pemahaman konsep pada materi norma peserta didik fase C.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teacher's perception of students' social communication skills in IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) learning. The research subject is a fifth-grade teacher who teaches IPAS at a public elementary school in the Bandung city area. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and document studies. The data analysis technique used in this study follows the method by Miles & Huberman, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of the study show that the teacher pays attention to students' social communication skills during the learning process, although some indicators have not yet been fully met. The conclusion drawn is that students' social communication skills are influenced by various factors, both from the students' backgrounds and from the learning process implemented by the teacher. In this context, the teacher's role during learning is crucial in developing students' social communication skills.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of understanding of Phase B Grade III elementary school students in Pancasila education, particularly in the material on the meaning of the values of Pancasila. Preliminary studies suggest that some students struggle to comprehend the meaning and values of Pancasila. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of using the problem-based learning model in improving students' understanding of the values embodied in the Pancasila principles in elementary school. The research approach employed is a quantitative method, utilizing a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study consists of 23 students in phase B at one elementary school in Sukajadi District, Bandung City. The instrument used is a written test with essay-type questions. The data analysis used includes normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and N-Gain tests. The analysis results showed that the average post-test scores increased from the average pre-test scores, from 55.35 to 81.43. Based on the hypothesis test, the significance value was 0.001 < 0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, meaning that there was a significant improvement in conceptual understanding ability. Based on the N-Gain test, an N-Gain score of 0.5757 was obtained, meaning the N-Gain score falls under the “moderate” criterion. Meanwhile, the N-Gain percentage shows a value of 57.5673, which is greater than 55, indicating that the PBL learning model is sufficiently effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding in Phase B of elementary school.

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran yang tepat dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di Sekolah Dasar menjadi salah satu tantangan dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dalam mendukung pembelajaran terdiferensiasi guna meningkatkan pemahaman konsep kewarganegaraan serta keterampilan sosial peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PjBL berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik, kerja sama tim, serta pemahaman mereka terhadap nilai-nilai kebangsaan. Melalui strategi diferensiasi dalam PjBL, peserta didik dapat belajar sesuai dengan karakteristik dan gaya belajar masing-masing, sehingga meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar mereka. Selain itu, penerapan asesmen berbasis proyek memungkinkan guru untuk memberikan umpan balik yang lebih spesifik dan membimbing peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan proyek secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa model PjBL yang diterapkan secara berdiferensiasi dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PKn di Sekolah Dasar, sejalan dengan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perbedaan lingkungan tempat tinggal peserta didik Sekolah Dasar terhadap hasil belajarnya di kelas, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Anak yang tinggal di rumah sendiri cenderung memperoleh pengasuhan dan perhatian yang berbeda dibandingkan dengan anak yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila antara peserta didik yang tinggal di rumah sendiri dan yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 23 peserta didik yang terbagi dalam dua kelompok tempat tinggal. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi nilai STS dan kuesioner tempat tinggal. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji perbedaan Mann-Whitney U, serta perhitungan effect size dengan rumus rank biserial correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar peserta didik yang tinggal di rumah sendiri dan yang tinggal di panti asuhan, dengan hasil perhitungan uji Mann-Whitney U yaitu 0.031. Dan nilai effect size menunjukkan hasil 0.684, bahwa perbedaan tersebut berada dalam kategori besar, yang menandakan bahwa perbedaan tempat tinggal memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila. Diharapkan dari hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan peserta didik dari berbagai macam latar belakang tempat tinggalnya.

Abstract

This study addresses the issue of low spatial abilities among Phase B elementary school students, particularly in understanding regional location, spatial orientation, and distance. The problem is attributed to the continued use of conventional learning media that lack the capacity to visualize spatial concepts in an engaging and concrete manner. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Google Earth as a digital learning medium to enhance students’ spatial abilities within the IPAS subject, specifically on the topic of identifying the location of their city or regency. A quantitative research approach was employed using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants comprised 25 fourth-grade students from SDN Cisarua, West Bandung Regency. Data were collected using an essay test consisting of 10 questions. The results showed a significant increase in posttest scores compared to pretest scores, with the N-Gain categorized as high. Statistical analysis further confirmed a significant difference between pretest and posttest performance. The study concludes that the integration of Google Earth is effective in improving spatial abilities among elementary school students. These findings support the use of interactive, contextual, and technology-based learning tools as viable alternatives to traditional methods in enhancing geography-related competencies in early education.
