Abstract

This study discusses parenting styles in assisting students’ learning with blended learning model in RA. Sunan Ampel, Pasuruan. During the Covid-19 pandemi, RA Sunan Ampel implemented a blended learning model by combining online and offline learning. This study implies descriptive quantitative approach that used questionnaire as the instruments to collect the data. The questionnaire was distributed online to 11 parents of RA students as respondents. The results showed that almost parents have a authoritative parenting style indicated by parents’ attitude in engaging children to learning while playing. Meanwhile, such parents also applied permissive parenting characterized by parents’ intervention on children’s activites and no force for children to learn. Besides that, parents with authoritarian showed that they obey strict rules and punishments when children broke the rules. Above all, such uninvolved parenting implemented during the covid-19 indicated by negligent attitude of parents in engaging students’ learning.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are students who have difficulty concentrating when learning the new normal period in class A1 RA Muslimat NU 10 Banin-Banat Gresik. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of sensorimotor play used to train concentration and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of sensorimotor play used to train concentration. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The results showed that the teacher of class A1 applied auditory sensorimotor play using pop up story books at the beginning of the lesson and at the end of the lesson. In addition, the teacher also applies a proprioceptive sensorimotor play using lego and bombic which are usually done during the safety corner, when the child has completed all his tasks. Factors that support the application of sensorimotor play to train children's concentration are the availability of media, increase children's insight, increase children's vocabulary, develop aspects of children's social emotional development, while the inhibiting factors are difficulties in conditioning students, the amount or quantity of media that is lacking.

Abstract

Abstrak : Integration of Pancasila and Civic Education Values In The Thematic Curriculum 2013 (Revised Edition 2016).This study examines the values of Pancasila and civic education on the thematic text-book of 2013 curriculum-revised edition at fourth class in the primary school and how the values integrated into the thematic text-book. To gain the data regarding to the research questions, a documentative study was taken. In analyzing the data, this study using content analysis method and the results shows that the values of Pancasila and civic education built into  students through the thematic books are the religious values, obedience, and tolerance, equality and morality, sovereignty and nationalism, democracy, wisdom, and persistency. One of the value which  frequently integrated on the book is the moral values related to the way to feel, to think, and to act. Whereas the integration was designed through some activities such as discussion, observation activity, reading, writing, and exercising.    Key Words : Integration, Values of Pancasila, and Thematic text-book   Abstrak : Integrasi Nilai-Nilai Pancasila Dan Civic Education Dalam Buku Tematik Kurikulum 2013 (Edisi Revisi 2016). Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai Pancasila dan pendidikan kewarganegaraan pada buku teks tematik edisi 2013 yang direvisi pada edisi keempat di sekolah dasar dan bagaimana nilai-nilai tersebut diintegrasikan ke dalam buku teks tematik. Untuk mendapatkan data mengenai pertanyaan penelitian, sebuah studi dokumenter diambil. Dalam menganalisa data, penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pancasila dan pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang dibangun ke dalam siswa melalui buku tematik adalah nilai-nilai agama, ketaatan, dan toleransi, persamaan dan moralitas, kedaulatan dan nasionalisme, demokrasi, kebijaksanaan, dan persistensi. Salah satu nilai yang sering diintegrasikan pada buku ini adalah nilai-nilai moral yang berkaitan dengan cara merasakan, berpikir, dan bertindak. Sedangkan integrasi dirancang melalui beberapa kegiatan seperti diskusi, aktivitas observasi, membaca, menulis, dan berolahraga. Kata Kunci : Integrasi, Nilai-Nilai Pancasila, dan Buku Teks Tematik

Abstract

The development of literary culture in schools needs a literate ecosystem and full support from literacy activists in schools. This study aims to describe and explore the profile of literacy activists in madrasahs in terms of their level of immunity and personality traits. This study investigates the effect of student immunity as literacy activists in madrasahs with extroverted and introverted personality types on the ability to develop a literary culture. The parameters used to investigate the immunity levels in extroverted and introverted students were by examining the number of leukocytes, types of leukocytes, and the results of the IL-6 examination using the ELISA method. The results show that extroverted students have higher immunity than introverted students. The average leukocyte level of extroverted students is 24,350 cells/mm3 and introverted students is 50 cells/mm3. Meanwhile, the results of the IL-6 examination show the highest is 163,863 and the lowest is 43,984. Extroverted students can design various literacy programs that are challenging for students and are better able to build networks in developing literacy programs compared to introverted students. So, it can be concluded that extroverted students have a higher level of immunity, and also have the ability to explore and develop literacy programs better than introverted students.

Abstract

Discovery learning is a model designed to tackle the issue of low learning achievement. However, typically, research on discovery learning mainly focuses on outcomes to enhance specific abilities partially. Yet, discovery learning is also associated with physiological aspects. This study aims to determine the discovery of learning influence on learning achievement and serotonin. This is an experimental study. The independent variable (x) is discovery learning, whereas the dependent variables (y) are student achievement and serotonin. The statistical test used the paired sample t-test. Other data related to students' learning skills in the classroom using discovery learning were observed and analyzed with the descriptive qualitative method. There were significant differences in learning achievement and serotonin levels before and after the implementation of discovery learning.The average scores before and after the implementation of discovery learning were 46.75 and 78.55, respectively. The average hormone levels before and after the implementation of discovery learning were 719.25 and 1420.59 ng/mL, respectively. The implementation of discovery learning increases serotonin levels, thus optimizing student learning achievement. Following this research finding, research on how to increase serotonin levels through other learning methods needs to be conducted to explore many best practices that affect students' achievement.

Abstract

Minat baca merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam keberhasilan belajar siswa. Namun, masih banyak siswa di sekolah dasar yang kurang memiliki minat baca.. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran tematik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan dan pendekatan dokumentasi yang dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menjelaskan beberapa aspek terkait pembelajaran tematik untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa, seperti pengenalan kata-kata baru dalam konteks yang menyenangkan, penggunaan buku baca yang menarik, penerapan pembelajaran tematik yang variatif, dan peningkatan keterampilan membaca melalui pembelajaran tematik. Penelitian ini juga membahas hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran tematik dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini ditulis dengan harapan pembelajaran tematik dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Dengan pendekatan pembelajaran tematik yang tepat, diharapkan siswa dapat lebih antusias dan terampil dalam membaca, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan akademiknya.

Abstract

Pada zaman saat ini banyak siswa kelas 1 sekolah dasar yang masih belum mengenal huruf dengan baik dan benar sehingga dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan membaca siswa dan menghambat kelancaran proses pembelajaran di Kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan membaca siswa kelas 1 SD Islam Wachid Hasyim dan menginformasikan metode yang cocok digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu dengan mendatangi sumber data secara langsung. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data yaitu wawancara, observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 26 orang, yaitu 25 siswa kelas I yang diberi instrumen tes EGRA untuk dianalisis kemampuan membacanya dan 1 orang guru yang merupakan wali kelas I untuk diwawancarai. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut menunjukan hasil bahwa rata-rata siswa yang sudah mengenal huruf yaitu 86, sedangkan nilai rata-rata membaca suku kata yaitu 80,4. Rata-rata membaca kata yaitu 73,6 dan nilai rata-rata membaca kalimat yaitu 72. Sehingga dapat diambil rata-rata keseluruhan dengan nilai 78, jadi dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa siswa kelas I SDI Wachid Hasyim mendapat kriteria sudah ‘Baik’ dalam kemampuan membaca. Selain itu menggunakan metode yang menarik dan beragam dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa dan menarik simpati mereka saat proses kegiatan belajar mengajar seperti metode tebak huruf dan metode demonstrasi: menyusun kata menjadi kalimat yang sangat cocok dan efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Character-based koko comic media is an innovation in developing learning media, especially for mathematics subjects of grade 3 fractional material at MI NU Wedoro Sidoarjo. The purpose of this research aims to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of cocoa comic media. In this study, researchers used Research and Development (R&D) research methods with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data obtained through observation and interviews, validation instruments, questionnaires and tests. Information or data that has been obtained is then analyzed and produces conclusions from teachers, students, material experts, media experts as a repsondent in providing information on this development research. The results showed that the level of validity of comic media is in the category of very valid and can be used with a little revision. In addition, for the level of practicality of comic media, koko is in the very practical category. Data on the effectiveness of comics is also in the category of very effective, because it sees an increase in student learning outcomes from post-test and pre-test. Abstract

Children with slow learner characterized by a slow response in learning, completing assisgnmentlately, short-term memory, lower learning achievement, and low motivation. In academiccompetencies, children with slow learner category faced special needs in reading, writing, andother academic compulsory, etc. Therefore, a program as Klinik Pintar “Smart Program” wasimplemented at Badrussalam Islamic Primary School in Surabaya. This study aims to reveal theimplementation of klinik pintar in developing students’ academic capability with slow learner.This research used qualitative design with Miles and Huberman as the analyses technique. Theresults revealed that 2 children at Badrussalam Islamic primary school have been identified aschildren with special needs as slow learners. To accommodate their needs, the schoolimplemented smart clinic program that focused on developing students’ ability in reading andwriting. The activity conducted in this program implemented by considering students academicdifferentiation started from learning alphabet, words, and sentences. In improving writingcompetencies, students also learned how to use pencils, sitting position in learning, and doingexercise in writing to optimize students’ motoric skill.Keyword: Smart Clinic, Slow Learner, Academic Ability

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka berfokus pada penanaman karakter dengan menerapkan profil pelajar pancasila. Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia merupakan pelajaran wajib yang dapat menjadi ajang dalam mengembangkan P3. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan nilai moral kepada peserta didik melalui pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dalam mapel bahasa indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode field research di SD Yapita Surabaya dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa P3 sudah diterapkan pada pembelajaran bahasa indonesia. Dimensi yang paling menonjol dan banyak digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia adalah bernalar kritis dan kreatif. Penerapan dimensi P3 menyesuaikan kebutuhan peserta didik, tidak semua diterapkan. Penerapan P3 dalam pelajaran bahasa indonesia di SD Yapita Surabaya sudah efektif dan menjadikan pembelajaran semakin menyenangkan.
