Abstract

Probiotics are generally added in the manufacture of food products because of their function that can provide benefits to human health, especially in the digestive tract. The probiotics used in this study were Lactobacillus acidophilus FNCC 0051 and Streptococcus thermophilus FNCC 0040 which were encapsulated and added in making yoghurt sets. The purpose of this study was to examine the physicochemical and microbiological quality of the yoghurt set with the addition of encapsulated Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB). The research method used is a laboratory experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) pattern with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments given were P0 Addition of LAB without encapsulation (control) (2%); T1 addition of 2% encapsulated LAB (v/v); T2 added 3% encapsulated LAB (v/v) and T3 added 4% (v/v) encapsulated LAB. Data analysis used Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results of the analysis showed that the encapsulation using gelatin and Na alginate coatings gave a very significant difference (P<0.01) to the syneresis of yoghurt sets with the resulting average T0 (24.51±0.70%), T1 (23.52±0.76%), T2 (20.44±0.44%), and T3 (19.96±0.83), a significant difference (P<0.05) on the pH of the yoghurt set with the resulting average T0 (4.56±0.03), T1 (4.55±0.02), T2 (4.45±0.09), and T3 (4.40±0.07), a significant difference (P<0.05) to the total acid titrated yoghurt set with the resulting average, namely P0 (0.68±0.14%), T1 (1.05±0.03%), T2 (1.13±0.32%), T3 (1.31±0.21%), the significant difference (P<0.05) on the total LAB yoghurt set with the resulting average T0 (8.62±0.30 log CFU/ml), T1 (9.20±0.70 log CFU/ml), T2 (9.36±0.33 log CFU/ml), and T3 (9.51±0.10 log CFU/ml). It was concluded that the addition of the percentage of encapsulated LAB of 4% was able to improve the quality of the yoghurt set optimally.Keywords: yoghurt set, probiotics, encapsulation, pH, total acid, syneresis, total LAB

Abstract

This research highlights the primary issue of how religious counselors use the BP-4 function to provide consultation services on domestic violence in the KUA, Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach and is situated in the KUA, Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. The approach used is a descriptive one. The data sources used for this research are primary data, and secondary data are book literature, journals, and written documents. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that religious counselors are making significant efforts to provide consultation services related to domestic violence, including family guidance, mediation, and family advice through taklim assemblies. The inhibiting factors experienced by religious counselors in providing consultation services regarding domestic violence are difficulty in bringing together both parties who have domestic violence problems and parental interference in the problem.

Abstract

Gedung B Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Jambi merupakan gedung bertingkat dengan 4 lantai yang belum memiliki sistem proteksi petir eksternal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melakukan observasi dalam pengambilan data. Pengolahan data yang dilakukan berupa data konstruksi bangunan, jumlah hari guruh dan pengukuran grounding. Hasil dari analisis tingkat kebutuhan sistem proteksi petir eksternal menggunakan pedoman  SNI 03-7015-2004 sebesar 0,74 berada pada tingkat proteksi IV. Pada perancangan sistem proteksi petir eksternal di gedung B Fakuktas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Jambi menggunakan metode bola bergulir, menggunakan terminasi udara konvensional dengan diameter ¾ Inch (19,05 mm), Kabel BC 16 mm2, dan Grounding Rod Bc ½ Inch (12 mm) dengan penggunaan terminasi udara sebanyak 9 buah dengan posisi 3 berbaris pada posisi tengah, samping kiri dan samping kanan pada atap gedung. Perancangan sistem grounding pada penelitian ini menggunakan sistem multiple rod dengan jumlah 6 rod kedalaman 1 meter dengan nilai tahanan pentanahan 4,69  yang berada pada belakang kanan gedung. Total biaya yang akan digunakan sebesar Rp. 73.379.424,-.Kata Kunci : Perancangan, Sistem proteksi petir eksternal, Grounding.

Abstract

The progress of democracy in a country positions political parties as key actors with a central role in the political system. However, the involvement of political parties in criminal acts such as corruption and money laundering has tarnished their reputation as organizations, eroded public trust, and posed significant challenges to law enforcement. This study explores the criminal liability of political parties as corporate entities, supported by primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources, and is conducted within a normative legal research framework. The findings indicate that there are five main perspectives to examine the political, philosophical, legal, historical, and sociological foundations of criminal law regarding corporate responsibility in cases of corruption and money laundering. The ideal approach to prosecuting political parties as corporations involves rethinking the issue of corporate crime and focusing on two distinct categories of corporations: private corporations and special or public corporations, each subject to different criminal provisions. It is necessary to reform the nature of corporations as platforms for implementing ideas by revising certain elements of anti-corruption and anti-money laundering laws related to corporate entities. Many issues concerning fines, for instance, can be addressed by enacting laws with explicit provisions for corporate sanctions. Abstract

Pencak silat meningkatkan kekuatan fisik melalui teknik latihan pencak silat. Oleh karena itu diperlukan alat yang dapat mendukung hal tersebut, pencak silat memiliki 3 macam teknik tendangan utama yaitu, tendangan T, tendangan sabit, dan tendangan lurus. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti bahwasannya pada latihan teknik pencak silat, untuk pengukuran pencak silat masih dilakukan secara manual dan pengukuran waktu masih berupa stopwatch. Pengukuran konvensional seperti ini sering terjadi kesalahan pengukuran atau human error. Sebelumnya sudah dilakukan pengembangan alat menggunakan sensor force sensing resistor (FSR), namun alat ini masih belum akurat dalam pengukuran tendangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat pengukur kekuatan tendangan beladiri pencak silat, agar kekuatan tendangan dapat diukur dengan benar. Sehingga dirancang alat pengukur kekuatan tendangan menggunakan sensor load cell. Alat ini dilengkapi dengan fitur waktu dan penghitungan jumlah tendangan untuk mendapatkan rata – rata dari setiap tendangan, hasil pengukuran ditampikan menggunakan LCD, kemudian fitur website untuk menyimpan dan memonitoring data tendangan. Hasil penelitian pada pengujian kalibrasi sensor load cell memiliki rata – rata persentase eror 1.58% dan untuk eror timer yaitu 0%. Sedangkan rata -rata dan jumlah tendangan setiap kali percobaan pengujian latihan teknik tendangan pancak silat dalam 10 kali percobaan tendangan dengan waktu yang ditetapkan 60 detik yaitu, tendangan lurus memiliki jumlah rata - rata nilai 12,4 tendangan dengan rata – rata kekuatan tendangan 64.31 kg, tendangan sabit memiliki jumlah rata - rata nilai 17,7 tendangan dengan rata – rata kekuatan tendangan 20.21 kg, tendangan T memiliki jumlah rata – rata nilai 10,8 tendangan dengan rata – rata kekuatan tendangan 39.71 kg.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui strategi pelaksanaan dan pemetaan evaluasi pembelajaran dalam implementasi Kurikulum Darurat IPS pada era kenormalan baru di SMP Negeri Kabupaten Blitar. Penelitian di Kabupaten Blitar dengan sampel penelitian terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Kurikulum, dan Guru Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas IX, dari masing- masing sekolah, sehingga total 9 responden. Metode penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ketiga sekolah menggunakan Kurikulum IPS kedaruratan bermakna secara mandiri. Strategi yang digunakan dengan melakukan pemetaan guru dan siswa terkait sarana dan prasarana pendukung. Aplikasi yang digunakan saat pembelajaran online memakai LMS Google Classroom, Google Forms, dan Whatsapp. Proses pembelajaran terdapat kendala yang dihadapi karena kurang kesiapan sumber daya manusia dari segi pengunaan aplikasi pendukung pembelajaran online masa kedaruratan, yaitu kuota internet, smartphone, faktor ekonomi orang tua sehingga kurangnya pendampingan saat siswa pembelajaran dari rumah, dan letak geografis. Pengurangan Kompetensi Dasar IPS Kelas IX dan waktu pembelajaran serta dikondisikan dengan bermakna sesuai dengan siswa. Evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan Google Forms, sarana tugas dengan Google Classroom, sarana diskusi aktif dan komunikasi dengan Whatsapp. Pengendalian kendala saat pelaksanaan Kurikulum Darurat IPS, dengan guru kunjung, loker bisu, pendampingan pembelajaran siswa yang kurang daya dukung perangkat pembelajaran, dan sekolah menfasilitasi jaringan internet, dan smartphone.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the characteristics of spreadable cheese made from goat milk (GM) and soy milk (SM) in various rations. The ratios of GM and SM were P0 (control), P1 (3:1), P2 (1:1), and P3 (1:3) (v/v), respectively. P0 was the treatment without adding SM. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design with 4 replications. All data were processed using ANOVA and DMRT. The results showed that the combination of milk reduced saturated fatty acids, which affected the levels of water, fat, casein, and calcium (p < 0.05), but not significantly on salt, protein, and pH levels. The sensory quality assessment was observed using a hedonic test and expressed in histogram form. To conclude, spreadable cheese produced from various rations of GM and SM has sufficient flavor-creamy, as well as good spreadability and color.

Abstract

The crime of rape is a sexual crime that can be committed by force between the perpetrator and the victim which can cause the victim to suffer physical, mental, and psychological disorders. The type of rape crime tends to be sexual so that it is familiar in society as it is carried out following developments in the era in Indonesia where cases of rape are increasing over time. Abortion itself is regulated in Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health that abortion is permitted with the provisions that have been regulated. Abortion is a controversial issue, and strict supervision and clear regulations are needed. Legal protection is very important to provide human rights, especially reproductive health services. Efforts to protect the newspaper are regulated in Government Regulation Number 35 of 2020 concerning compensation, restitution and assistance to Witnesses and Victims, providing a form of protection for rape victims can be realized in the form of restitution and compensation, medical services and legal assistance. This law also ensures that victims have fair and fast access to abortion services, while preventing possible misuse of these provisions.

Abstract

An edible coating made from whey protein isolate-chitosan with yellow pumpkin extract can maintain the physical quality of fresh chicken meat. This study aimed to determine the physical characteristics of fresh chicken meat by applying an edible coating made from whey protein isolate-chitosan with yellow pumpkin extract. This study uses a random group design with nesting patterns. The first factor is the coating (C) and uncoated (NC) edible coating, and the second factor is the length of meat storage, namely, day 0 (D0), day 2 (D1), day 4 (D2), and day 6 (D3). The data tested were pH, texture, WHC, cooking loss, moisture content, and color. The data were collected and analysed via Microsoft Excel. The results revealed a significant difference in the pH value (P < 0.01). The pH ranged from 4.97–6.32. The color and cooking loss values were significantly different (P < 0.05), with values ranging from L*(33.9–56.7), a*(-3.36–4.21), b*(4.25–12.1), WI (32.64–55.79), C*(2.28–50.63) and h? (70.75–111.5), while the cooking loss ranged from 25.28–38.55%. The moisture content, texture, and WHC values were not significantly different (P > 0.05), with moisture contents ranging from 70.16–74.30%, textures ranging from 3.85–5.85 N, and WHCs ranging from 24.55–37.66%. An edible coating yields good results on meat stored for up to the sixth day, whereas meat not stored with the coating has poor quality on the sixth day.

Abstract

The chicken head is one of the by-products with a high protein content. Therefore, chicken heads can be used as raw materials to produce protein hydrolysates containing bioactive peptides that have biological activities, such as antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant activities. This research aimed to evaluate the use of the combined ratio of papain and bromelain enzymes to produce chicken head protein hydrolysate that has antibacterial activity. The research method used in this study was a laboratory experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications. Statistical significance was done using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan’s multiple range test (DMRT). The inhibition zones of chicken head protein hydrolysate using a combination of papain enzymes against Lactobacillus casei, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Salmonella typhimurium were 1.72-2.68, 1.19-4.47, 0.93-1.45, 1.64-2.46, and 1.01-3.62 mm, respectively. The result showed that the highest antibacterial activities against Lactobacillus casei, Escherichia coli, and Staphylococcus aureus were in A1 (hydrolysis using papain 75% and bromelain 25%), the highest antibacterial activities against Pseudomonas aeruginosa was in A3 (hydrolysis using papain 25% and bromelain 75%), and the highest antibacterial activity against Salmonella typhimurium was in A2 (hydrolysis using papain 50% and bromelain 50%). However, all the hydrolysate didn’t exhibit antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis. Chicken head protein hydrolysate had the potential to be an antibacterial agent against pathogenic bacteria.
