Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines trends in water quality research through a bibliometric approach with the aim of mapping dominant factors and parameters and identifying research gaps in this area. The introduction of this research highlights the importance of water quality as a global issue that affects public health and environmental sustainability. The main objective of the study was to analyze water quality-related publications published between 2017 and 2024 using the Publish or Perish application to identify trends, distribution, and research focus. The method used involved collecting data from the 50 highest-ranked journals on Google Scholar, then classifying them by year of publication, publication type, number of citations, and author country. The data obtained was analyzed with the VOSviewer application to generate network visualizations, overlays, and densities to reveal the linkages between research topics. The analysis showed that research on water quality is highly diversified with the main focus on factors affecting water quality and the development of assessment methods. The publications reviewed highlighted global challenges in water quality management and the need for cross-disciplinary collaboration. The conclusions of this study emphasize several research gaps, such as the need for the development of more sensitive water quality indices, the application of new technologies, and further research in local and regional contexts. This research provides valuable insights into current research trends and encourages further exploration to improve water quality management effectively and sustainably. Keywords: Water Quality, Bibliometrics, Assessment Methods, Emerging Technologies, Research Gaps.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Accurate and complete nursing documentation plays an important role in ensuring the quality of nursing care and patient safety. However, adherence to documentation standards among nurses often remains a challenge that affects the overall quality of medical records and clinical interventions. This study was conducted to map research trends and factors affecting compliance in nursing documentation through a bibliometric analysis approach. The main objective of this study was to identify the main topics, key factors, as well as emerging publication trends related to nursing documentation compliance over the past few years. This study used the Publish or Perish application to collect 50 scientific articles published between 2016 and 2024, with keywords such as "compliance", "completeness", and "nursing care documentation". The data obtained was then analyzed using VOSviewer to visualize the bibliometric network based on the keywords that appeared in the literature. Through Network Visualization, Overlay Visualization, and Density Visualization, this study identified the main keywords such as "completeness", "motivation", "knowledge", and "compliance" that were most frequently discussed in related studies. The results of the analysis showed that documentation completeness and its influencing factors, such as nurse motivation and knowledge, are the main focus in the documentation compliance literature. In addition, the publication trend shows a significant increase in 2020 and 2021, most likely related to the COVID-19 pandemic situation that drives increased attention to the quality of documentation in healthcare. The conclusion of this study shows that adherence in nursing documentation, specifically related to the completeness, motivation, and knowledge of nurses, is an important topic that continues to grow in research. Although technologies such as electronic medical records are also relevant, the focus of research seems to be more on behavioral factors that influence documentation quality. This study provides guidance for researchers to identify gaps in the literature that could be further explored, especially in the development of more effective and integrated documentation systems. Keywords: Compliance, Completeness, Nursing Care Documentation, Motivation, Knowledge

Abstract

ABSTRACT Nurse performance is a key factor in determining the success of patient recovery and patient satisfaction with the services provided. This article provides a bibiometric analysis of nurse performance by analysing publication trends, geographical contributions, journal types and research topic networks. Data were collected using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application and visualised using VOSViewer. The results showed that the publication trend related to nurse performance has increased with research topics including nursing, workload, hospital, stress and performance quality. The United States, Iran, China, Australia and Brazil were identified as the main contributors to these publications. This analysis provides a visual overview of research topics related to nurse performance, as well as identifying potential areas for further research. Keywords: Nurse, Workload, Hospital, Stress, Quality, Work Environment, Nurse Performance

Abstract

Ischemic stroke is a common cause of disabilities among adults around the world and the second reason of death around the world after the first one, ischemic heart disease, the prevalence keeps rising after years. Some of the most common risk factors are hypertension, diabetes mellitus, heart disease, smoking, alcohol consumption, and high blood lipid levels that affect the blood viscosity and the blood clot. This research aims to study some of ischemic stroke’s risk factors which are hypertension and diabetes mellitus. This research is an observational retrospective study with effect size that can be found by secondary using search engines such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, PubMed, etc. The data filtered only for the last 5 years old journal, case-control study, and logistic regression analysis. From the 180 articles, found 14 worth articles about hypertension and diabetes mellitus with stroke ischemic and analyzed using JASP app. The result is hypertension related with ischemic stroke by p-value 0.0003 and mean effect size 4.32 (95% CI 1.97-9.49), then diabetes mellitus also related with ischemic stroke by p-value 0,00001 and mean effect size 2.99 (95% CI 2.28-3.92). Hypertension and diabetes mellitus statistically related with ischemic stroke by meta-analysis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The completeness of electronic health and medical record filling by health workers is a fundamental aspect that impacts the overall quality and efficiency of healthcare systems. As the use of electronic health records (EHRs) becomes increasingly prevalent, understanding research trends related to the completeness of these records is crucial. This bibliometric analysis seeks to provide an in-depth examination of the research landscape concerning EHR completeness by analyzing publication trends, geographical contributions, journal types, and research topic networks. Utilizing bibliometric tools such as VOSviewer, the study spans from 2019 to 2024, offering insights into the evolution of research in this field. The results reveal a notable increase in publication volume over the years, with a significant peak in 2022, indicating a growing academic interest in this subject. The United States and South Africa are identified as major contributors, while other countries like Indonesia and Brazil also show substantial research activity. The majority of the research is published in the form of research articles, although literature reviews, books, and conference papers also contribute to the body of work. Key research clusters identified include themes on the accuracy and completeness of records, factors influencing system quality, and adherence to EHR usage. Overlay and density visualizations illustrate an evolving focus within the research community, highlighting increased attention to quality factors and the challenges related to EHR system implementation and adherence. This analysis provides valuable insights into current research trends, emphasizing the need to address existing gaps and integrate findings from various research clusters. Future research should focus on exploring underrepresented areas and combining insights across different domains to enhance the overall effectiveness of EHR systems. By addressing these gaps, researchers can contribute to improving data entry processes and system implementation, ultimately leading to better healthcare outcomes. Keywords: Electronic Health Records, Completeness, Bibliometric Analysis, Research Trends, Health Workers

Abstract

Household waste management is a crucial issue that impacts health, the environment, and sustainability. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, facilities, and policies with household waste management behavior in Karang Intan Subdistrict, Banjar Regency. A cross-sectional design was applied involving 130 respondents selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between knowledge (p = 0.009) and attitudes (p = 0.028) with household waste management behavior. Facilities showed a positive but non-significant relationship (p = 0.082), while policies indicated a significant negative relationship (p = 0.026). In conclusion, increasing knowledge and fostering positive attitudes are key factors in improving household waste management behavior, while the effectiveness of policies requires reinforcement through proper socialization and targeted implementation. Practical implications highlight the need for continuous community education and stronger enforcement of local policies to achieve sustainable household waste management.
