Abstract

Silver Nanoparticles basically focus on the synthesis of nano-sized particles produced through chemical, physical, and biological processes, which contribute significantly to the control of plant and animal diseases and have shown considerable promise in improving the quality of human living conditions and health. The method of making silver nanoparticles, namely Green synthesis, involves the use of plants for the synthesis process of various types of nanoparticles. Green synthesis has the advantages of a simple method, environmentally friendly, non-polluting, antitoxic, and cost-effective. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial and antioxidant activities of AgNPs. In the spectrophotometer absorption spectrum appears at a wavelength of 450 nm. FTIR measurements were used to determine the presence of bioactive molecules that may be responsible for the stabilization that acts as a capping agent. The absorption spikes at 3256, 1552, 1048, and 934 cm−1 were determined for gempur batu leaf extract, while silver nanoparticles showed absorption spikes at 3369, 1576, 1080, and 822 cm−1. The results of XRD analysis of AgNPs showed that they had been successfully synthesized, which can be seen from the formation of narrow peaks indicating the crystalline nature of the formed nanoparticles. The results of TEM analysis of AgNPs in this study are a mixture of spherical, hexagonal, and triangular shapes of silver nanoparticles. The antibacterial activity test of silver nanoparticles with gempur batu leaf extract with variations in AgNO3 solution concentration has been successful, which is indicated by the formation of inhibition zones for Eschericia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The results of antioxidant activity in AgNPss show an increasing percentage of inhibition along with increasing concentration of AgNPss increasing from 1 to 15 ppm and ascorbic acid increasing from 1 to 5 ppm. Antibiofilm activity in AgNPs has a good ability to inhibit the formation of biofilm layers in Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria by having a biofilm inhibition percentage of more than 50%.

Abstract

Pandemi banyak mempengaruhi berbagai aspek dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Perilaku dan gaya hidup tidak sehat dimasa pandemi Covid-19 cenderung mengalami peningkatan, hal ini dikarenakan adanya pemberlakuan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat (PPKM) sehingga mempengaruhi pola makan dan aktifitas masyarakat.serta memicu timbulnya beragam penyakit tidak menular. Dibukanya atau dihentikannya PPKM kegiatan CAR FREE DAY dikawasan Niti Mandala Renon kota Denpasar disambut antusias oleh masyarakat. Lokasi ini merupakan tempat masyarakat melakukan jalan sehat, senam, dan rekreasi kuliner, yang memungkinkan sekali untuk diadakan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara langsung. Keadaan ini dimanfaatkan oleh Prodi S1 TLM untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk melakukan pemeriksaan kadar gula sewaktu, asam urat dan kolesterol di kawasan Car Free Day menggunakan metode POCT. Ketiga parameter tersebut bila dikaitkan dengan pandemi Covid_19 sangat beresiko meningkatkan angka kesakitan dan kematian akibat terinfeksi virus Corona . Hasil pemeriksaan dari 25 pengunjung yang bersedia diperiksa  didominasi jenis kelamin perempuan sebesar 17 orang (68%) kelamin laki-laki sebesar 8 orang (32%). Umur termuda 18 tahun kelamin laki-laki dan tertua 70 tahun jenis kelamin perempuan. Nilai rerata tertinggi kadar gula sewaktu 158 ± 39,0 mg/dL, asam urat 7,3 ± 1,45 mg/dL dan kolesterol total 239 ± 15,5 mg/d  terjadi pada kelompok umur 61-70 dengan jenis kelamin perempuan

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dialami para lanjut usia yang ditampung di PSTW Wana Seraya semakin hari semakin kompleks diantaranya mengenai kesehatan dengan berbagai macam keluhan seperti rheumatik, sakit kepala, dan gatal-gatal. Menyikapi hal tersebut Prodi TLM Universitas Bali Internasional Denpasar mengadakan kegiatan pengabdian masayarakat di panti tersebut dengan melakukan pemeriksaan kimia darah dengan sasaran para lansia dan petugas panti yang bertugas. Tujuan pemeriksaan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar asam urat dan kolesterol total para lansia dan petugas yang berada di PSTW Wana Seraya. Bahan yang dipergunakan serum diperiksa menggunakan alat semiotomatis Chemistry Analyzer Mindray tipe BA 88A. Metode pemeriksaan asam urat adalah Uricase/Enzymatic sedangkan CHOD PAP untuk kolesterol total. Hasil pemeriksaan dari 36 sampel didapatkan kadar asam urat dengan nilai terendah 2,0 mg/dL, nilai tertinggi 10,7 mg/dL sadangkan kadar kolesterol total minimum 144 mg/dL dan kadar maksimum 354,0 mg/dL Simpulan yang didapat pemeriksaan asam urat para lansia dan petugas PSTW Wana Seraya kadar tertinggi terjadi pada kelompok umur  56-65 tahun 10,7mg/d diikuti kelompok umur 76-85 tahun 9,6 mg/dL dengan jenis kelamin perempuan masing masing satu orang, sedangkan pada laki-laki terjadi pada kelompok umur 66-75 tahun sebanyak satu orang dengan kadar 8,6 mg/dL Kadar kolesterol tertinggi pada kelompok umur 76-85 tahun 354mg/dL dan kelompok umur 46-55 tahun 347 mg/dL masing –masing satu orang dengan jenis kelamin perempuan. Pada jenis kelamin laki laki satu orang dengan kadar kolesterol total tinggi  terjadi pada kelompok umur 66-85 tahun dengan kadar sebesar 222 mg/dL.

Abstract

Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) memiliki peran strategis sebagai lembaga keuangan berbasis komunitas dalam mendukung stabilitas ekonomi lokal dan meningkatkan literasi keuangan masyarakat akar rumput. Meskipun demikian, LPD sering menghadapi tantangan berupa rendahnya kapasitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), keterbatasan fasilitas operasional, serta lemahnya tata kelola kelembagaan. LPD Desa Adat Auman di Kabupaten Badung menghadapi kondisi serupa, ditandai dengan rendahnya literasi keuangan pengurus, kurangnya pemahaman administrasi kredit, dan keterbatasan fasilitas kerja. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas LPD Desa Adat Auman melalui intervensi terstruktur berupa sosialisasi, pelatihan akuntansi dasar, pemberian fasilitas operasional, dan pendampingan teknis. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif, dimulai dari observasi kebutuhan hingga pendampingan intensif. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kompetensi pengurus dalam pencatatan transaksi dan penyusunan laporan keuangan yang lebih tertib dan akuntabel, didukung oleh penyusunan Modul Implementasi Sistem Akuntansi LPD. Selain itu, pemberian fasilitas baru menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih profesional dan efisien. Secara keseluruhan, intervensi PKM ini berhasil memperkuat fondasi tata kelola LPD, meningkatkan profesionalisme pelayanan, dan mendorong naiknya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap lembaga keuangan adat ini.

Abstract

Silver Nanoparticles essentially focuses on the synthesis of nano-sized particles produced through chemical, physical and biological processes, which contribute significantly to the control of plant and animal diseases and have shown considerable promise in improving the quality of living conditions and human health. Currently, silver nanoparticles (AgNP) have shown their potential as an alternative antibacterial and antioxidant agent in many studies. The method for making silver nanoparticles, namely Green synthesis, involves the use of plants for the synthesis process of various types of nanoparticles. Green synthesis has the advantages, namely that the method is simple, environmentally friendly, non-polluting, antitoxic and cost-effective. The aim of this research is to determine the antibacterial and antioxidant activity of AgNPs. In this research, the nanoparticle solution was visually determined by the yellow-brown color change. In the spectrophotometer absorption spectrum appears at a wavelength of 425 nm. The results of determining the size distribution of silver nanoparticles using PSA show that the particle size distribution obtained has an average value of 40.5 nm and 59.6 nm for silver nanoparticles for AgNO3 concentrations of 1 mM and 2 mM, respectively. FTIR measurements are used to determine the presence of bioactive molecules that may be responsible for the stabilization that acts as a capping agent. Absorption spiked at 3.280; 2.919; 1.583; 1.379; 1.239 and 1.068 cm−1 were determined for sembung leaf extract, while silver nanoparticles showed an absorption spike at 3.368; 2.850; 1.594; 1.369; 1.244 and 1.108 cm−1. The results of XRD analysis of AgNP show that it has been successfully synthesized which can be seen from the formation of a narrow peak indicating the crystalline nature of the nanoparticles formed. The results of TEM analysis of AgNPs in this study are mixed shapes such as spherical, hexagonal and triangular shapes of silver nanoparticles. The antibacterial activity test of silver nanoparticles with sembung leaf extract with varying concentrations of AgNO3 solution was successful as indicated by the formation of an inhibition zone for Eschericia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The results show that the antioxidant activity of AgNPs shows that the percentage of inhibition increases as the concentration of AgNPs increases from 100 to 500 ppm and ascorbic acid increases from 1 to 5 ppm.

Abstract

Arak is a non-electrolyte liquid that easily circulates in the blood circulation and is absorbed in the digestive tract. One disease that can be caused by alcohol consumption is liver function disorders, such as alcoholic hepatitis. So it can increase the serum enzymes glutamate pyruvate transaminase (SGPT) and serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT). This research was conducted on light and heavy drinkers in Renon Village, Denpasar City. This research uses a longitudinal quantitative design. The results obtained were that the average SGPT level of light drinkers was 46.21 ± 0.155 IU/L, while the respondents who were heavy drinkers had SGPT levels with an average of 64.02 ± 0.430 IU/L. for SGOT from light drinkers is 50.20 ± 0.101 IU/L. Respondents who drank heavily had SGPT levels with an average of 74.40 ± 0.048 IU/L. All wine drinkers, both light drinkers and heavy drinkers, had SGPT-SGOT levels that exceeded the reference value.
