Abstract

Multicultural education is an urgent need in a pluralistic Indonesian society. This article examines the urgency of multicultural education from the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy as a foundation for building a tolerant, just, and inclusive civil society. This study collects and analyzes literature related to multicultural values in Islamic teachings and Islamic educational practices in Indonesia through a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results of the study show that in the treasury of Islamic educational philosophy, there are fundamental principles that are in line with multicultural values, such as tolerance (tasamuh), justice ('adl), equality (musawah), respect for differences, and the spirit of deliberation (shura). Islam views diversity as part of the sunnatullah that cannot be avoided and must be addressed with mutual respect. However, the reality of Islamic education in Indonesia still shows the dominance of a normative-doctrinal approach, providing little space for cross-cultural dialogue and critical thinking. Therefore, a reconstruction of the paradigm of Islamic education that is inclusive and contextual is needed by instilling multicultural values in the curriculum, learning methods, and educational practices as a whole. Thus, Islamic education does not only function as a transmission of religious knowledge, but also as a tool for social transformation in building a harmonious civil society in diversity. This article highlights explicitly two main questions: (1) how multicultural values are integrated into Islamic educational philosophy, and (2) to what extent such integration contributes to forming a civil society. The main contribution of this study is to offer an integrative conceptual framework that combines Islamic values with the principles of multiculturalism, which can be used as a reference in developing inclusive and contextual Islamic educational policies and practices.

Abstract

Disruptif teknologi kian menantang kelincahan, fleksibilitas dan kapabilitas UKM dengan respon cepat dalam menciptakan produk hingga mengkomunikasikannya kepada pelanggan melalui berbagai teknik dan manajemen pemasaran yang semakin terevolusi dalam upaya menumbuhkan antifragilitas dan daya saing usaha. Pelaksanaan P2M dengan menawarkan tema pelatihan dan praktik pemasaran berbasis Platform dengan mengadopsi evolusi model bauran pemasaran 4P’s yang selaras dengan perkembangan teknologi digital, dimana “P” untuk “Tempat” diperluas menjadi “Platform” yang memungkinkan saluran komunikasi pemasaran memiliki jangkauan lebih luas, dengan Delima Cakery Sukabumi sebagai mitra sasaran utama. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dioperasionalisiasikan melalui sosialisasi, penyesuaian dan inovasi produk, evaluasi dan penyesuaian harga, menentukan platform digital utama sesuai dengan model bisnis dan karakteristik produk, dan memilih program promosi yang cocok. Abstract

The implementation of the research-based Independent Curriculum in Indonesia faces complex challenges, especially in accommodating students from disadvantaged areas with high heterogeneity of backgrounds. This study aims to analyze the management of the research-based Independent Curriculum at SMA GenIUS and identify the factors that affect the effectiveness of its implementation in students from Eastern Indonesia. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study at GenIUS High School, involving the principal, vice principal, 15 teachers, and observation of the implementation of the Re-Search program. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of curriculum documents. Data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman's thematic analysis technique. The results of the study show that the management of the research-based Independent Curriculum at SMA GenIUS includes four main stages: planning by mapping the level of inquiry through diagnostic tests, organizing differentiated learning in the classroom, the implementation of the Re-Search program with four levels of inquiry (confirmation, structured, guided, open), and holistic evaluation using rubrics and STS assessments. Supporting factors include data-driven documentation systems, collaboration with universities, and the commitment of school management. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the heterogeneity of students' abilities in one class and the need for structured learning modules. The implementation of the Re-Search program improves students' critical thinking skills and research literacy, with the student involvement rate reaching 85% in the selection of research topics according to personal interests.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pendekatan deep learning serta mengkaji relevansinya terhadap kurikulum cinta di madrasah aliyah negeri 1 Sragen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi kelas, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian mencakup guru dan wakil kepala madrasah bidang kurikulum di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Sragen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan deep learning telah mulai diterapkan melalui tiga elemen utama: (1) meaningful learning, (2) mindful learning, dan (3) joyful learning. Elemen-elemen tersebut tercermin dalam pembelajaran kontekstual, aktivitas reflektif, dan suasana kelas yang menyenangkan secara emosional. Namun, penelitian juga menemukan beberapa tantangan, yaitu: (1) keterbatasan pemahaman guru terkait Kurikulum Cinta dan integrasinya dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, serta (2) belum tersedianya panduan teknis dan contoh implementasi praktis pembelajaran berbasis nilai. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan: (1) pelatihan menyeluruh bagi guru terkait integrasi pendekatan deep learning dan Kurikulum Cinta, serta (2) pengembangan modul pembelajaran kontekstual yang menggabungkan materi akademik dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan deep learning sangat relevan dan efektif dalam mendukung internalisasi Kurikulum Cinta, khususnya dalam memperkuat pendidikan karakter dan menciptakan pembelajaran yang bermakna serta berpusat pada siswa.

Abstract

Purpose – This study focuses on the extent to which the application of MUI ( Council of Indonesian Ulama) fatwā in the Indonesian Religious Court, particularly in the context of Islamic family law. This issue has led to discursive debates between Indonesian ʿUlamāʾ and some scholars.  Some argue that fatwā is not binding because it is not a legal source and there is no fatwā in the hierarchy of Indonesia’s legal system. However, MUI fatwās have been used as a legal basis for decisions related to Islamic family law in the Indonesian Religious Court. Method - This research uses sociological jurisprudence as a method for inquiry. This method is based on normative legal research. However, it does not discuss the legal system or regulation; nevertheless, it observes the reactions and interactions that occur in society when the regulation is enforced.  Findings – This study concluded that although MUI fatwā is not binding in the Indonesian Legal system, the judges of the Indonesian Religious Court have considered the MUI fatwā as a legal basis in rendering decisions relating to Islamic family law. In other words, the fatwās issued by the Majelis Ulama, which have been used as a legal basis by judges in the Religious Courts for several cases related to Islamic family law in Indonesia, will shift. The issues mentioned deal with the legal status of children out of wedlock, child adoption, interfaith marriage, and Ahmadiyah followers. Research contribution – This study reveals the role of MUI fatwas as a non-formal source of legal legitimacy that, while not legally binding, continues to influence judicial practices in Indonesian Religious Courts concerning Islamic family law. Originality/value – The value of this research rests in its ability to demonstrate the dynamic interaction between religious authority and the positive legal system, thereby opening a broader discourse on the integration of fatwas into national legal practice.

Abstract

This paper attempts to elaborate on the current existence of the Islamic Communication curriculum, particularly Dakwah Journalism as one of the Islamic communication education pillars, either on state or private Islamic universities in Indonesia. Departing from an explanation of the empirical phenomenon of the technological revolution and globalization of communication that brought significant impacts on the communication industry and social-global behavior, this paper wants to criticize backwardness content of DakwahJournalism curriculum that failed to adopt both dynamics as a genial formulation to form new scholar competency of Islamic Communications in the modern world. The curriculum focus for journalism ethical values only shows another fact that there is a weakness in the scientific exploration of the journalism science in Islamic tradition. This paper will be concluded with my analysis for the differences of vision and mission addressed by Islamic Communication Departments (KPI) in PTAI that aggravate the above conditions. This problem represents only one example of the complexity of the problems in the PTAI teaching system amidst of migration policy from IAIN into State Islamic University(UIN). To establish competitive graduates with holistic competency, it is necessary for PTAI managers to develop a new framework, vision, mission, and curriculum content at large. The initiatives can be started by changing the Dakwah Journalism curriculum.

Abstract

Islamic education-both as an institution and subject in public schools-currentlyfacing the serious and complicated challenge, for example the uncertainty ofdichotomiousparadigm. This uncertainty appears influenced strongly by theparadigm of thinking that tends to dualistic-confrontative. A paradigm thatdistinguishes the two things that seem diametrically opposed and potentially causeconflict. Abstract

This research is an experimental research motivated by the low learning achievement of students in entrepreneurship subjects in class XII SMK N 8 Surakarta. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of the use of quizizz learning media on the learning achievement of grade XII students in entrepreneurship subjects of SMK N 8 Surakarta. The variables of this study consist of two, namely independent variables include quizizz learning media and dependent variables include student learning achievement. The research method used in this study is quantitative research with the type of experimental research using the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design, with pre-test, treatment, and post test stages. The population in this study was all 34 students of grade XII SK 3 SMK N 8 Surakarta. The sample of this study was class XII SK 3 SMK N 8 Surakarta as an experimental group with a total of 34 students. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used by testing hypotheses using t-tests with independent sample t-test types. The results of this study show that learning achievement after the use of quizizz learning media can be categorized as high. The conclusion of this study is that quizizz learning media has an influence on the learning achievement of students in class XII entrepreneurship subjects of SMK N 8 Surakarta.

Abstract

This paper explores community service activities to strengthen the political and structural position of the Local Public Broadcasting Institution (LPPL), the key pillar of broadcast democratization in Indonesia. This community service is in partnership with two non-profit institutions called Rumah Perubahan LPP and PERSADA.ID, which are managed by media activists and professionals from various organizations. The key program is drafting and publishing position paper as an effort to strengthen the position of local public radio within the upcoming Broadcast Law no. 32/2002 revision. It takes in the form of a webinar and workshop on producing position paper to post to the new Broadcasting Law, which based on the LPPL's ​​broadcasters’ aspirations, both in English and Indonesia. This program involves LPPL activists as the workshop organizers, participants and resource persons, and can be a model for future community service in broadcasting advocacy. The program results a publicly accessible document of ​​policy paper about various issues of local broadcasting in Indonesia (English and Indonesia) and recommendation of collaboration among universities and public broadcasters to advocate the policy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masalah pada peningkatan mutu pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam yang dilihat dari pengelolaan kualitas pembelajaran, diantaranya pengelolaan tempat belajar, pengelolaan siswa, bagaimana mengaktifkan mereka dalam proses belajar mengajar, pengelolaan isi atau materi pembelajaran dan pengelolaan sumber belajar dan lain sebagainya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam di lembaga pendidikan islam butterfly learning center (BLC). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan metode kualitatif berdasarkan penelitian lapangan, data penelitian dihimpun melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, analisis, reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang dilakukan dalam mengatasi hambatan dalam meningkatkan mutu belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam diantaranya adalah meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, melengkapi sarana prasarana belajar atau media pembelajaran dan penguasaan materi yang diajarkan serta penguasaan metodologi pembelajaran guru, sehingga dengan antisipasi tersebut mutu pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dapat ditingkatkan.
