Abstract

In the absorption of female workers, there was an increase which in 2021 was 4.57 percent and in 2020 it was 6,16 percent. High population growth has impacted the labor supply, which, if not matched by the demand for labor, will increase unemployment. The occurrence of intellectual unemployment is inseparable from the problem of the world of education which is not able to produce quality workers according to the demands of the labor market so our educated workforce is often unable to compete with foreign workers. Government policies where successful family planning has given women greater free time to participate in the world of work. On the other hand, it can be argued that the desire to increase family income is also quite strong. This study aims to analyze the development and influence of the average wage, education level, and population of women on employment. The method of analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique with the Eviews 10 application, followed by the elasticity method. The results of the analysis in this study are that the average wage/salary of women has a significant and inelastic positive relationship to the absorption of female labor, the average length of education of women has a significant and elastic positive relationship to the absorption of female labor, and the total female population has positive relationship is not significant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya saing ekspor kerang darah di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir dibandingkan Kota Dumai ke Malaysia. Selain itu, juga untuk mengetahui potensi ekspor Kerang Darah dari Kabupaten Rokan Hilir ke Malaysia di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan data sekunder berupa time series dari tahun 2017-2021. Data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi seperti Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Riau, Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Riau, dan Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan serta sumber lain yang terkait dengan penelitian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Revealed Comparative Advantage(RCA) dan analisis tren. Pengolahan dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Microsoft Excel 2007.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam lima tahun terakhir Kerang Darah yang diekspor dari Kabupaten Rokan Hilir tidak memiliki daya saing komparatif dengan Malaysia yang ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata nilai RCA 1. Namun demikian, potensi ekspor Kerang Darah Kabupaten Rokan Hilir ke Malaysia ke depan menunjukkan tren yang positif.

Abstract

Gender equality is one of the goals of SDG, so every country needs to make efforts so that gender equality can be realized. Gender inequality is calculated using the Gender Inequality Index (GII). One of the components in preparing the Gender Inequality Index is labor force participation rate. Within the population included in the labor force, some people are employed and unemployed. In this study, gender inequality in terms of unemployment will be calculated using Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition with three calculation stages. The first is probit regression analysis, the second is marginal effects and the third is Oaxaca blinder decomposition. The results of the probit regression analysis show that all observed independent variables significantly effect on unemployment for both men and women. Meanwhile, the marginal effect results show that this variable’s influence is quite small, only 0.1 - 2 percent. The results of Oaxaca blinder decomposition show that the inequality between male and female unemployment is 1.42%, of which 29.88% is influenced by, observed factors and unobserved factors influence the remaining. There are only three variables that influence the gender gap, namely marital status, number of household members and household income 70.12%.

Abstract

Based on data from Central Statistics Agency for 2022, the number of beef cattle in the Meranti Islands is 3,927 tail, 9 buffaloes and 7,985 goats. This very large livestock population is certain to produce large amounts of livestock manure because the cattle population is always directly proportional to the production of livestock manure. This assistance has a purpose aims to produce appropriate technology through the use of solid and liquid waste from livestock manure as a source of biogas. The method devotion is counseling and assistance regarding biogas originating from livestock manure in livestock groups in the Meranti Islands. The institution that will be a partner in biogas development technology activities is the Mantiasa Village independent cattle group, which is a non-productive livestock group. The community service parameters observed is the degree of acidity (pH). The results of the service obtained by the Mantiasa Village livestock group can utilize Biogas from livestock waste which is always available and can be distributed to 3-5 families, so that breeders and the community no longer use conventional gas for cooking. The use of biogas products by breeders and the community can save people's living costs because the price of conventional gas for cooking is high.

Abstract

Pagaruyung Village is the largest pineapple producer in Kampar Regency with sales of 10.330 tons per year. The main problem faced by Pagaruyung Village as a pineapple producing center is that most of the pineapples produced are sold fresh at low prices, around Rp. 3,000-5,000 per fruit, so that there are often several obstacles in the distribution of fresh pineapples related to quality, storage, and transportation. Pineapples can be processed into other processed products such as syrup. Syrup is a processed food product that has a long shelf life and a simple production stage. Pineapple syrup can be an effective solution as well as a characteristic of the village to attract local and international tourists, as well as support independent food security efforts.The aim of the community service program through mentoring activities is that Pagaruyung Village, Tapung District, can become an entrepreneurial village in order to create an independent village and improve the economy of village communities through synergy between Riau University as a university and assisted villages within the scope of Riau Province. In this activity, an approach was taken through socialization regarding various processed products made from pineapple, direct practice in making pineapple syrup using simple technology, as well as evaluating activities using a questionnaire. The results of this training reveal the community's innovation and enthusiasm in processing pineapple into pineapple syrup. To achieve the main goal, namely improving the local economy and making Pagaruyung Village a tourist destination, ongoing coaching and training efforts are needed.

Abstract

Pagaruyung Village is the largest producer of pineapples in Kampar District, with sales reaching 10,330 tons annually. Farmers sell high-quality fresh pineapple but at a low market price of around IDR 3,000-5,000 per fruit. Making processed products from pineapple fruit, such as pineapple jelly candy, can effectively overcome the problem, creating a distinctive Village identity that is attractive to tourists and supports food security independently. The mission of the community service program through the assistance of Pagaruyung Village, Tapung District, is to transform Pagaruyung Village into an entrepreneurial Village to create a self-sufficient Village and improve the economy of the Village community through synergy between Riau University as a university and assist villages within the scope of Riau Province. In this activity, the approach was carried out through the socialization of pineapple processed products, making pineapple jelly candy with simple technology, and evaluating activities using questionnaires. The impact of this training shows that the community has a strong desire and enthusiasm for creating pineapple jelly candy from pineapple fruit. Continuous coaching and training efforts are needed to achieve the main goal, which is to improve the local economy and make Pagaruyung Village a tourist destination.

Abstract

The study was conducted at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional III. The aim was to determine the direct influence of digital leadership, digital innovation, and organizational learning on digital maturity to improve organizational performance. The study took a sample of 207 employees. The variables used were digital leadership, digital innovation and organizational learning, digital maturity, and organizational performance. The data were analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis operated through the Smart PLS 4.0 program. The results of the study indicate that digital leadership, digital innovation, and organizational learning have a significant influence on digital maturity. Digital maturity itself has been proven to have a significant influence on improving organizational performance. In addition, the influence of digital leadership, digital innovation, and organizational learning on organizational performance is also strengthened through the mediation of digital maturity. Thus, digital maturity plays an important role as a liaison that optimizes the impact of independent variables on organizational performance.

Abstract

The Mantiasa Village independent cattle livestock group is a non-productive livestock group. The Mantiasa Village independent cattle livestock group has 25 Balinese cattle. This livestock group is found in Tinggi Tinggi Barat District, Meranti Islands Regency, Riau Province. This group is a location for breeding and fattening livestock commodities, especially Bali cattle. This very high cattle population is directly proportional to the production of livestock manure in the form of feces and urine. Cattle manure that is not utilized optimally will have implications for unfriendly environmental conditions and the spread of livestock diseases will often occur. Therefore, there is a need for technology to use livestock manure as biogas production by designing a household scale reactor. This service aims to produce appropriate technology through the use of solid and liquid waste from livestock manure as a source of biogas. The parameters observed were the degree of acidity (pH) and the flame test. Biogas observation results show that the initial pH of biogas is 7.2-7.4, while the final pH ranges from 7.9-8.2, which shows that biogas has good quality for bacterial growth. The Mantiasa Village livestock community actively participates in training in making biogas using simple, effective technology so that it can improve the community's economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh indeks pembangunan manusia dan Tingkat Pengangguran Terhadap Tingkat Kemiskinan di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti.yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Riau serta jurnal dan literatur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan negatif terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti periode 2010-2023. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang tercermin dalam IPM berkontribusi pada peningkatan produktivitas dan pendapatan masyarakat sehingga mengurangi tingkat kemiskinan pada Kabupaten Kepulauan MerantiTingkat pengangguran tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti. Meskipun teori menyatakan bahwa tingkat pengangguran harusnya mempengaruhi tingkat kemiskinan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penurunan pengangguran tidak secara langsung mengurangi kemiskinan di Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Tingkat Upah Minimum, Dan Inflasi Terhadap Kesempatan Kerja Di Provinsi Riau yang bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Riau serta jurnal dan literatur yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Riau terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap kesempatan kerja. Dengan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kedua variabel ini, langkah-langkah strategi perlu diambil untuk memaksimalkan potensi pertumbuhan ekonomi sebagai pendorong terciptanya lapangan kerja. Peningkatan upah minimum dapat merangsang produktivitas tenaga kerja, meningkatkan motivasi, dan mendorong daya beli masyarakat. Peningkatan daya beli ini bisa menyebabkan peningkatan permintaan terhadap barang dan jasa, yang pada gilirannya dapat mendorong perusahaan untuk mempekerjakan lebih banyak pekerja guna memenuhi permintaan yang lebih tinggi. Inflasi dapat mempengaruhi pasar tenaga kerja melalui peningkatan biaya input dan penurunan daya beli konsumen, yang dapat mengakibatkan pengurangan jumlah tenaga kerja atau pembatasan perekrutan. Namun, dalam konteks penelitian ini, dampak inflasi tidak terlihat nyata. Tidak signifikannya pengaruh inflasi mungkin disebabkan oleh stabilitas inflasi selama periode penelitian atau keberhasilan kebijakan ekonomi makro yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah dalam mengelola dampak inflasi terhadap sektor ketenagakerjaan.
