Abstract

Discovery Learning sebagai model pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai alternatif dengan berfokus terhadap tingkat aktif peserta didik saat proses belajar. Discovery Learning yakni pendekatan pembelajaran yang memberikan dorongan terhadap peserta didik supaya proaktif berpartisipasi pada kegiatan belajar mengajar dalam kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni mengevaluasi pelaksanaan sintaks Discovery Learning, kelayakan media video tutorial, hasil belajar dari peserta didik, serta tanggapan peserta didik sesudah diterapkannya Discovery Learning pada model pembelajaran melalui media video tutorial pada kompetensi perawatan kulit tidak bermasalah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada kelas X SMK Negeri 3 Probolinggo. Jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan yakni penelitian pre-eksperimental memakai desain "One-Shot Case Study". Penelitian menggunakan sampel yang terdiri dari peserta didik kelas X dengan total 35 peserta didik. Data yang digunakan dikumpulkan melalui beberapa metode, yakni observasi, tes psikomotorik, serta angket. Data yang didapatkan lalu dianalisis dengan kuantitatif serta dijelaskan secara deskriptif. Penelitian memperlihatkan hasil yakni 1) Keterlaksanakaan sintaks Discovery Learning pada proses pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 3,8 yang berarti pada kategori sangat baik. 2) Kelayakan media video tutorial pada kompetensi perawatan kulit tidak bermasalah memperoleh nilai rata-rata 92% pada aspek materi, 89% pada aspek media, serta 89% pada aspek bahasa, kategori sangat baik menunjukkan pada ketiga aspek yang ada. 3) Peserta didik menunjukkan hasil belajar pada aspek psikomotorik mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 86. 4) Peserta didik memperlihatkan respon dengan nilai persentase rata-rata 87,9% yakni terbilang kategori sangat positif. Abstract

Palembang people's interest in the selection of bridal makeup in the implementation of marriage. The purpose of this study was to determine the public interest in Siger Sunda bridal makeup in Palembang and the factors that influence the interest of Palembang people related to the cultural customs of Palembang society. This research method is observation, interview and questionnaire method conducted in Palembang city, Seberang Ulu I and II sub-districts. Data analysis techniques using descriptive with quantitative methods, which are intended to describe the accurate state or facts of the observed object as many as 50 brides-to-be with Total Sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the interest of prospective brides in the selection of Sundanese Siger makeup in Seberang Ulu I and II Districts is the most dominant indicator of internal factors with high criteria as much as 0.2%. Based on these results, the average interest in internal factors of prospective brides in choosing Sundanese Siger makeup is 79% with high criteria. Prospective brides choose makeup that is attractive and suits their personality such as Sundanese Siger, which reflects beauty. However, cost is also an important consideration for choosing Siger Sunda makeup because it is simpler and more economical. Keywords: Palembang Community Interest, Culture, Aesan Gede Bridal Makeup.

Abstract

Bridal makeup plays an important role in supporting the appearance of the bride, especially for brides who have acne-prone skin. The selection of the right foundation and application tools greatly affects the final result of the makeup. This study aims to analyze the differences in the results of foundation application using a beauty blender, brush, and a combination of both on acne-prone skin in International bridal makeup. This study uses an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The subjects consisted of three models with similar acne-prone skin characteristics, and involved 30 panelists. Data were collected through observation using research instruments and analyzed descriptively and through a one-way ANOVA test. The results showed a significance value of 0.00 (p <0.05), which indicated a significant difference between the three foundation application methods. The average assessment score showed that the application using a beauty blender scored 22.1 (fairly good category), a brush scored 23.3 (good category), and a combination of both scored the highest, namely 24.4 (very good category). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of a combination of a brush and a beauty blender provides the most optimal results in applying foundation to acne-prone skin in International bridal makeup. Abstract

In the last five years, marble nail art has become a trend that is increasingly in demand by nail art lovers. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of press-on nails with the water marble technique, the results of press-on nails with the marble drawing technique, and a comparison of the results of press-on nails with the water marble and drawing techniques. This study employed a quantitative approach and used an experimental research design. The results of press-on nails with water marble and drawing were assessed using a questionnaire with four aspects: design suitability, surface evenness, neatness of the finished result, and preference. Faux Nail Studio customers who like nail art and are and are and are aged 18 to 30 years were the subjects of this study who came to Faux Nail Studio on February 28, 2025. The data obtained from the questionnaire were processed using IBM SPSS 27. The t-test was used to determine the comparison of the finished results of press-on nails with the water marble and marble drawing techniques, and the average test was used to determine the finished results of each technique. The results of the study showed that (1)he finished results of press-on nails with the water marble technique had an average value of 2.96 out of 4, (2) the finished results of press-on nails with marble drawing had an average value of 3.68 out of 4, and (3) there was a significant difference between the two techniques, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. (3) According to the panelists, the suitability of the design, surface flatness, and neatness of the results were 2.96 for the water marble technique and 3.68 for the marble drawing technique. (4) The panelists preferred the finished results of press-on nails with the marble drawing technique to the water marble technique.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to investigate the impact of beauty influencer content on TikTok on increasing knowledge about makeup among students of SMK PGRI 4 Pasuruan and how students' attitudes towards the content. The background of this study is the rapid development of social media as an alternative in the learning process, especially in the field of makeup that is visual and practical. The method used is quantitative by implementing a pre-test and post-test through measuring learning outcomes. The number of subjects in this study was 36 students from the Skin and Hair Beauty study program. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire using a Likert scale and t-test. The research findings show a significant increase in knowledge about makeup after students accessed TikTok content from beauty influencers, as evidenced by the results of the paired sample t-test with a significance value of 0.000. Student responses to beauty influencer content on TikTok vary widely. On the one hand, this social media platform can be a very useful learning tool, encouraging interest in learning and facilitating access, as students can easily access various educational materials and resources through TikTok. It also helps students collaborate on assignments, exchange ideas, provide feedback, and encourage creativity in learning and conveying ideas. Several factors that support knowledge enhancement include the quality of content presentation, trust in the influencer, appropriate video length and format, and the relevance of the material to students' needs. Therefore, content on TikTok can be used as an effective supplementary medium for increasing knowledge about makeup. Various studies have shown that students respond positively to interactive learning media applications, particularly regarding their appearance and ease of use. Abstract

Aspek penting evaluasi ini adalah efektivitas metode pembelajaran dalam membentuk kompetensi kerja yangrelevan. Penelitian ini membahas keterkaitan antara metode pembelajaran dan penguasaan kompetensi terhadap statusalumni Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias UNESA. Tujuan penelitian mencakup: (1) mendeskripsikan status alumnipasca kelulusan; (2) mengungkap kondisi pembelajaran yang dialami alumni selama studi; dan (3) menganalisis hubunganantara keduanya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif melalui survei terhadap 33 alumni. Hasilmenunjukkan alumni mayoritas telah bekerja atau melanjutkan studi, serta menguasai berbagai kompetensi kerja. Meskipunmetode pembelajaran yang diterima bervariasi, tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara penekanan metodepembelajaran dan penguasaan kompetensi. Temuan ini menjadi masukan bagi evaluasi kurikulum yang lebih responsifterhadap kebutuhan dunia kerja.

Abstract

Abstract. Dalam era globalisasi dan persaingan kerja yang semakin ketat, kualitas pendidikan dan kompetensi lulusan menjadi faktor penting yang menentukan kesuksesan di dunia kerja. Pendidikan tata rias, sebagai salah satu bidang keahlian yang berkembang pesat, memiliki peran signifikan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan industri kecantikan. Kompetensi profesional lulusan pendidikan tata rias sangat menentukan kemampuan mereka untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan bidang keahliannya serta penghasilan yang memadai. Kompetensi ini mencakup berbagai keterampilan teknis dan non-teknis, seperti pengetahuan produk kecantikan, kemampuan teknik tata rias, manajemen waktu, dan komunikasi efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kompetensi profesional lulusan pendidikan tata rias dengan kesesuaian bidang pekerjaan serta penghasilan bulanan yang mereka peroleh. Metode survei dengan instrumen kuesioner digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari lulusan pendidikan tata rias. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara variabel yang diteliti. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan tata rias yang lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri dan meningkatkan kemampuan lulusan untuk bersaing di pasar kerja. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang berguna bagi lulusan pendidikan tata rias dalam merencanakan karier mereka di masa depan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional lulusan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kesesuaian bidang pekerjaan mereka. Namun, pengaruh kompetensi profesional terhadap penghasilan bulanan tidak signifikan, yang mengindikasikan adanya faktor-faktor lain yang lebih berpengaruh. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi institusi pendidikan dalam merancang program yang lebih efektif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan industri, serta membantu lulusan dalam merencanakan karier mereka dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Recently, there has been a gap between the skills needed by industry and learning materials in schools that still need to meet expectations. Research internship programs (RIP) viewing as a link that can eliminate these disparities. However, there is no conclusive proof of the learning results of the program. This study seeks to dig deeper into information based on a stakeholder's point of view on the quality of skills demonstrated by students in research internship programs. This research is qualitative. The case study method approach analyzes phenomena in the workplace according to assessment reporting in terms of stakeholder perceptions. Research informants consist of primary, supporting, and critical stakeholders. This paper uses triangulation techniques to reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students' readiness and skills affect hard-skill performance but do not significantly affect the results of the research conducted. Stakeholder perception states that schools need more time to be ready to implement research internships based on Ministerial Decree Number 123/M/KPT/2019.

Abstract

There have been many studies focusing on graduate tracing. However, they were still determining how likely the graduates will work following their interests and the fields of knowledge they have studied. This study aimed at gaining improved awareness of cosmetology education graduates' employment readiness concerning social skills, performance, and work motivation. This explanatory research used the entire research population of the last two years, as many as 70 graduates. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire on each variable studied. While the analysis method used a structural equation model (Warp-PLS) to confirm the model's accuracy while testing the influence of variables on other variables and verifying that the instruments utilized were valid and dependable. The results proved that social skills, performance and work motivation directly and significantly affect graduate job readiness. Graduates' social skills and performance also affected job readiness in the field. The social skills of graduates were higher in influence than the performance and motivation of graduates in work readiness, with a difference of 0.391. These results implied a need to improve soft communication skills and spiritual provision in addition to the competencies that graduates already have.
