Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has gradually declined after more than 2 years of attacking Indonesia. This has led the government to relax the regional quarantine policy (PPKM) slightly. After the issuance of MENDIKBUD RISTEK Circular Letter No. 4 of 2021 concerning the implementation of face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, learning that was originally carried out completely online is now allowed to carry out limited face-to-face learning. The purpose of this research is to find out the opinions of students, as well as to find out the process of implementing hybrid learning in social studies subjects at SMPN 3 Srengat which took place during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive type quantitative approach. The results showed that hybrid learning was considered effective as evidenced by the dominant percentage of SMPN 3 Srengat students, in the implementation of hybrid learning in social studies subjects, students' understanding was still lacking because social studies is one of the contextual subjects and really needs the role of the teacher in explaining in class (face-to-face, not with online learning). Pandemi COVID-19 berangsur menurun setelah lebih dari 2 tahun menyerang Indonesia. Hal ini membuat pemerintah sedikit melonggarkan kebijakan karantina wilayah (PPKM). Setelah diterbitkannya Surat Edaran MENDIKBUD RISTEK No. 4 Tahun 2021 tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran tatap muka di masa pandemi COVID-19, pembelajaran yang semula dilaksanakan sepenuhnya daring kini dapat dilakukan secara terbatas dengan tatap muka. sedang belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendapat siswa, serta untuk mengetahui proses penerapan hybrid learning pada mata pelajaran IPS di SMPN 3 Srengat yang berlangsung pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif tipe deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran hybrid dianggap efektif dibuktikan dengan persentase siswa SMPN 3 Srengat yang dominan, dalam penerapan pembelajaran hybrid pada mata pelajaran IPS, pemahaman siswa masih kurang karena IPS merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran kontekstual dan sangat dibutuhkan. peran guru dalam menjelaskan di kelas (tatap muka, bukan dengan pembelajaran daring).

Abstract

Moral education is a very important effort to direct individuals to have appropriate behavior and be considered good by the surrounding community, so as to avoid immoral actions. Teenager is a period that requires assistance and supervisory control more specifically related to morals. This is necessary because basically teenagers are very vulnerable to becoming victims of the current decline in moral quality. The orphanage iso one of the social welfare institutions that aims to provide social services, including in terms of fostering the morale of the foster children. The purpose of this research is to describe the moral problems that occur in orphanages, to analyze the effort made by orphanages to solve moral problems, and to analyze the impact of the effort made by orphanages. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. This research is conducted at the Putri Aisyiyah Orphanage in Malang City. Data sources in this study are primary and secondary data sources. Data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this research uses Miles & Huberman’s interactive model analysis, which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that there are moral problems experienced, namely the behavior of foster children who are impolite, which includes rude and dirty words, lying, disobedience, and negative seniority. Then there are violations of rules which include fighting, dating and stealing as well as a lack of social sensitivity. Meanwhile, the efforts made to develop morals are through moral education, skills education, providing sanctions and implementing the chamber chairman system. These educational effort make foster children try to speak good words and not say harsh or dirty words, foster children are more careful in their behavior so that they are always better and polite, disciplined and comply with all the rules and activities of the orphanage, sensitive and caring about the surrounding environment, try to be more honest in all things, including with caregivers and fellow foster children, make foster children more obedient and no longer disobedient, and foster children limit themselves more so that they are not provoked by emotions, so that fights do not occur. The implications of the results of this research can be used to improve moral education efforts in dealing with immoral acts that occur among foster children in orphanages. Pendidikan moral merupakan upaya yang sangat penting dilakukan untuk mengarahkan individu agar memiliki perilaku yang sesuai dan dinilai baik oleh masyarakat sekitar, sehingga terhindar dari tindakan amoral. Remaja merupakan masa yang membutuhkan pendampingan serta kontrol pengawasan lebih khususnya terkait pada moral. Hal tersebut diperlukan karena pada dasarnya remaja sangat rentan menjadi korban dari kemerosotan kualitas moral yang terjadi saat ini. Panti asuhan menjadi salah satu lembaga kesejahteraan sosial yang bertujuan memberikan pelayanan sosial termasuk dalam hal membina moral anak asuhnya. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan permasalahan moral yang terjadi di Panti Asuhan, menganalisis upaya yang diterapkan panti asuhan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan moral, serta menganalisis dampak dari upaya yang telah dilakukan panti asuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Panti Asuhan Putri Aisyiyah Kota Malang. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah sumber data primer dan sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis model interaktif Miles & Huberman yaitu meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan terdapat permasalahan moral yang dialami yaitu perilaku anak asuh yang kurang sopan yang meliputi berkata kasar dan kotor, berbohong, membangkang, serta senioritas yang negatif. Kemudian pelanggaran peraturan yang meliputi berkelahi, pacaran dan mencuri serta kurangnya kepekaan sosial. Sedangkan untuk upaya yang dilakukan dalam membina moral yaitu melalui pendidikan akhlak, pendidikan ketrampilan, pemberian sanksi serta penerapan sistem ketua kamar. Upaya pendidikan tersebut menjadikan anak asuh berusaha bertutur kata yang baik dan tidak berkata kasar ataupun kotor, anak asuh lebih berhati-hati dalam berperilaku sehingga senantiasa lebih baik dan sopan, disiplin dan mematuhi semua peraturan dan kegiatan panti asuhan, peka dan peduli pada lingkungan sekitarnya, lebih berusaha jujur dalam segala hal termasuk pada pengasuh maupun sesama anak asuh, menjadikan anak asuh lebih taat dan tidak membangkang lagi, serta anak asuh lebih membatasi diri agar tidak terpancing emosi, sehingga tidak terjadi perkelahian. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan upaya pendidikan moral dalam menangani tindakan amoral yang terjadi pada anak asuh di panti asuhan.

Abstract

Traditional arts have the potential to be internalized in social studies learning. Unfortunately, social studies teachers at SMPN 24 Malang have not developed teaching materials that include elements of traditional arts even though there is already a PPST class (art class program for junior hight school). Teachers also have not improved teaching materials that apply a contextual approach in the form of the local history of the Malang area. This research and development aim to 1) produce LKPD products for the history of the Singosari Kingdom for PPST class for social studies subject by integrating the temple of Batik patterns, and 2) Do test the feasibility of the developed LKPD products. Product development in this study uses an Research and Development (R&D) approach with ADDIE design. Data collection was carried out using instruments in the form of validation sheets and student respon questionnaires. Before distributing the questionnaire to the product trial subjects, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire were tested. The LKPD feasibility test through validation is carried out by material experts, learning media experts, and language experts. The implementations of LKPD was carried out in a limited group of 29 students. Based on the results of the validation and trial tests, this LKPD is categorized as "Very Eligible" to be applied in PPST class social studies learning. LKPD improvements were also made based on input from validators and test subjects

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe rumors of the existence of the Nyadran Tradition in Semanding Hamlet began to decline among the community due to modernization and lack of knowledge about the spiritual meaning implied in it. In fact, this tradition is a hereditary culture that is usually done every year and has a meaning that contains noble values for the residents of Semanding Village. The existence of the rumor, the researcher aims to analyze the background, community participation, and the meaning of the Nyadran Tradition of Semanding Village, Blitar Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative guided by the stages of Miles and Huberman's research. The results showed that the Nyadran procession was motivated by a form of respect for the ancestral spirits of Semanding Village. The whole society actively implements Nyadran as a form of compliance with customary norms by prioritizing tolerance. In addition, the community considers the Nyadran procession to have a symbolic meaning in each procession which symbolizes gratitude to The God.ABSTRAKAdanya rumor eksistensi Tradisi Nyadran di Dusun Semanding mulai menurun dikalangan masyarakat karena adanya modernisasi dan kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai makna spiritual yang tersirat di dalamnya. Padahal tradisi ini merupakan kebudayaan turun-temurun yang biasa dilakukan setiap tahun dan memiliki makna yang mengandung nilai luhur bagi warga Dusun Semanding. Adanya rumor tersebut peneliti bertujuan melakukan analisis latar belakang, partisipasi masyarakat, dan makna Tradisi Nyadran Dusun Semanding, Kabupaten Blitar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan berpedoman pada tahapan penelitian Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prosesi Nyadran dilatar belakangi oleh bentuk penghormatan kepada roh leluhur masyarakat Dusun Semanding. Seluruh masyarakat aktif melaksanakan Nyadran sebagai bentuk kepatuhan norma adat istiadat dengan mengutamakan toleransi. Selain itu, masyarakat menilai prosesi Nyadran memiliki makna simbolik pada setiap prosesinya yang melambangkan rasa syukur kepada Sang Pencipta.

Abstract

The current condition of students' social skills can be said to be quite apprehensive. Many behaviors reflect low social skills. This research article discusses students' social skills problems at the 7-9 grade junior high school level. Their social skills raise various problems during the learning process in class. Therefore, this article focuses on research with the objectives of 1) describing the condition of the social skills possessed by students in social studies learning and 2) describing the efforts made by social studies teachers to improve students' social skills. This is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers used purposive and snowball techniques in selecting research subjects. Data analysis techniques use interactive models consisting of 1) data collection, 2) data condensation, 3) display data, and 4) conclusion drawing and verification. Researchers also used data triangulation techniques to check the validity of the data. The results showed that some students had low social skills. To overcome these problems, teachers make various efforts to improve social skills, which are divided into four indicators: 1) skills to comply with rules, 2) valuing skills, 2) communication skills, and 4) teamwork skills.

Abstract

Teachers often present monotonous teaching and learning processes and use conventional assignments through LKPD (student worksheets) during a pandemic. The manual assessments take time and effort. Departing from that problem, UM Social Sciences Education Lecturer Team organized a workshop on liveworksheet-based e-LKPD (electronic LKPD) as a form of community service. This Program aims to improve the pedagogic competence of teachers. A series of activities have been carried out, and evaluation actions are needed in this workshop activity. The purpose of writing this article is to evaluate the workshop using the CIPP evaluation model, namely context evaluation, input evaluation, process evaluation, and product evaluation. The results of data analysis using CIPP show that the percentage value of the evaluation of the Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD Workshop for improving the pedagogic competence of Social Science teachers in Malang is Very Good. This value indicates that the implementation of the community service that has been carried out has a very well-implemented system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Menjelaskan tentang hambatan dan tantangan pembelajaran IPS yang terjadi di SMPN 1 Prambon; 2) Menjelaskan faktor apa saja yang menjadi hambatan dan tantangan belajar peserta didik; dan 3) Menjelaskan peran kompetensi pedagogi guru dalam mengatasi hambatan dan tantangan belajar IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tahapan analisis data kualitatif melalui reduksi data, display data, dan conclusion. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hambatan dan tantangan pembelajaran IPS di SMPN 1 Prambon terjadi karena kurangnya motivasi belajar, konsentrasi belajar, rendahnya literasi peserta didik, kemandirian dan kedisiplinan peserta didik. Selain itu, masih belum ada pengembangan media belajar yang mengadaptasikan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis TPACK dan fasilitas ruang belajar yang kurang nyaman. Apabila permasalahan tersebut tidak segera diselesaikan, maka pembelajaran tidak dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan tujuan belajar akan sulit dicapai. Oleh karena itu, guru IPS berupaya aktif memberikan penguatan motivasi, mengikuti pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogi guru dan mengadaptasikan media belajar untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

Implementing the Merdeka curriculum has impacted changes in several documents, including learning tools, one of which is a lesson plan. In its development, there are still many teachers who experience difficulties. This research aims to analyze the problems and causal factors experienced by social studies teachers in preparing RPP for the Merdeka curriculum for junior high schools in Batu City. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive, involving as many as 13 teachers, and data was obtained in the form of interviews. The research data was obtained from non-participatory observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The study results show that teacher problems are found, namely the principles of preparing lesson plans, determining initial competencies, determining the profile of Pancasila students, determining learning outcomes, determining learning objectives, determining triggering questions, designing learning activities, and making learning assessments. Then, the factors that cause the problem are that teachers do not understand the changes in the Merdeka curriculum, the components of the lesson plan are different from the previous learning design, the teacher's competence in developing the lesson plan is relatively low, and the mastery of technology is lacking. The results of this study recommend that stakeholders in schools and the Batu City education office improve teachers' understanding and competence through training and workshops regarding the development of lesson plans that follow the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

AbstrakKeterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran IPS sering kali terbilang rendah. Dengan demikian, guru IPS memiliki peran untuk mendorong motivasi belajar peserta didik terutama dalam proses peningkatan partisipasi belajar. Rendahnya partisipasi belajar IPS peserta didik di SMPN 3 Bandar diakibatkan karena adanya rasa bosan dan jenuh ketika kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam meningkatkan partisipasi belajar IPS peserta didik SMPN 3 Bandar dan mengetahui bagaimana respon peserta didik setelah diberi stimulus oleh guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus dan lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 3 Bandar Kabupaten Pacitan. Informan penelitian terdiri dari 2 guru IPS dan 15 orang peserta didik. Ada empat upaya yang dilakukan guru IPS guna meningkatkan partisipasi belajar peserta didik yaitu pertama, mendesain pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan inovatif guna meminimalisir rasa bosan dan jenuh peserta didik. Kedua, guru memberikan reinforcement berupa penguatan positif dan penguatan negatif. Ketiga, guru memberikan evaluasi pembelajaran kepada peserta didik,. Keempat, guru melakukan pendekatan dengan orang tua, yang mana guru menghubungi orang tua peserta didik yang tingkat partisipasi belajarnya menurun melalui whatsapp serta memanggil peserta didik dan orang tua untuk datang ke sekolah. Hal tersebut dilakukan oleh guru IPS dan pihak sekolah supaya peserta didik dapat merubah perilakunya. Kemudian untuk respon yang diberikan peserta didik setelah diberi stimulus yaitu pertama mereka mengatakan bahwa pembelajaran inovatif yang dirancang oleh guru IPS membuat mereka merasa nyaman dan senang. Kedua, mereka memberikan respon yang beragam, ada yang merespon dan juga ada yang merubah perilakunya serta ada yang tidak merubah perilakunya. Ketiga, peserta didik ada yang merasa puas dan tidak puas dengan evaluasi yang diberikan oleh guru. Keempat, peserta didik ada yang merasa takut akan dimarahi oleh orang tuanya dan ada juga peserta didik yang merespon dengan biasa saja. AbstractThe involvement of students in the social studies learning process is often fairly low. Thus, social studies teachers have a role to encourage students ' learning motivation, especially in the process of increasing learning participation. The low participation of social studies students in SMPN 3 Bandar caused by boredom and boredom when learning activities. Therefore, in this study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in increasing the participation of social studies students SMPN 3 Bandar and know how the response of students after being given a stimulus by the teacher. This research uses qualitative research with Case Study Method and the location of this research was conducted in SMPN 3 Bandar Pacitan Regency. Research informants consisted of 2 social studies teachers and 15 students. There are four efforts made by social studies teachers to improve student learning participation, namely first, designing fun and innovative learning to minimize boredom and saturation of students. Second, teachers provide reinforcement in the form of positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement. Third, teachers provide learning evaluation to learners,. Fourth, teachers approach parents, where teachers contact the parents of students whose learning participation rate decreases through whatsapp and call students and parents to come to school. This is done by social studies teachers and the school so that students can change their behavior. Then for the response given by students after being given a stimulus, they first said that innovative learning designed by social studies teachers made them feel comfortable and happy. Second, they give a variety of responses, some respond and also some change their behavior and some do not change their behavior. Third, there are students who are satisfied and dissatisfied with the evaluation given by the teacher. Fourth, there are students who feel afraid of being scolded by their parents and there are also students who respond normally.

Abstract

The issue of student discipline in Indonesia is quite worrying. Cases of student indiscipline such as truancy, hanging out in the canteen during class hours,wearing excessive accessories, wearing inappropriate attributes, smoking, and being late for school. Even though enforcing discipline is the key to educational success. So teachers need strategies to overcome students' self-discipline problems. This research aims to analyze the efforts of Panjura High School teachers in enforcing self-discipline and find out how students respond after receiving reinforcement. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at Panjura High School, Malang City. The research results show thatThe efforts made by teachers to enforce student self-discipline at Panjura High School are carried out by establishing school rules, familiarizing seniors, and making teachers role models. Teachers always provide understanding regarding student discipline by reminding them of lessons, ceremonies, or briefings in the meeting room. Students are motivated by implementing a reward and punishment system. Students who have implemented self-discipline are gradually starting to appear more disciplined, seen from the reduction in students asking for permission to enter class because they were late. The students expressed this because they felt embarrassed or uncomfortable if they continued to break the rules. Isu kedisiplinan peserta didik di Indonesia cukup memprihatinkan. Peserta didik yang membolos, nongkrong di kantin pada jam pelajaran berlangsung, memakai aksesoris berlebihan, atribut yang dikenakan tidak sesuai, merokok, dan datang terlambat ke sekolah merupakan tindakan indisipliner. Padahal penegakan kedisiplinan merupakan kunci dari keberhasilan pendidikan sehingga guru perlu strategi untuk mengatasi permasalahan self-discipline peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya guru SMA Panjura dalam menegakkan self-discipline dan mengetahui bagaimana respons peserta didik setelah mendapatkan penguatan. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Panjura Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam menegakkan self-discipline peserta didik di SMA Panjura dilakukan dengan membentuk tata tertib sekolah, pembiasaan oleh kakak tingkat, dan menjadikan guru sebagai teladan. Guru selalu memberikan pemahaman terkait kedisiplinan peserta didik dengan cara mengingatkan pada pembelajaran, upacara, atau pada pengarahan di ruang pertemuan. Peserta didik dimotivasi dengan diberlakukan sistem penghargaan (reward) dan hukuman (punishment). Peserta didik yang sudah menerapkan self-discipline ini secara bertahap mulai terlihat semakin disiplin, dilihat dari berkurangnya siswa yang meminta surat izin masuk kelas karena terlambat. Hal ini diungkapkan siswa, karena merasa sungkan atau tidak enak hati jika terus melanggar peraturan.
