Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of Bruner's theory. This type of research is Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR). Which consists of 4 stages in each cycle. Namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This study was conducted in 2 cycles. This research was carried out in SD Negeri 13 Pekanbaru class III with a total of 22 students. Based on the results of the study, the results of observations of teacher activities in the first cycle of the meeting 1 percentage was 65.62% with enough categories increasing to 78.12% with good categories at meeting 2, increasing again in the second cycle of meeting 2 with a percentage of 84.37% with categories still good then increased to 90.62% with a very good category. While the activity of students in the first cycle of the meeting 1 percentage was 59.37% with enough categories increasing to 75.00 in the second meeting with good categories, then increasing in the second cycle of meetings 1 percentage 84.37% with good categories and increasing again at meeting 2 93.75% with a very good category. Based on the data analysis, the average student learning outcomes have increased, namely at the average value on the base score 66.81 increased to 73.18 in the first cycle with an increase of 10.89%, increasing again in the second cycle, the average value is 85 , 00 with an increase of 27.22%. This shows that the Application of Bruner Theory can Improve Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Class III Students of SD Negeri 13 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Bruner Theory, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research was carried out because of the low learning outcomes of social studies of grade VB in SD Negeri 79 Pekanbaru. Minimum completeness criteria (success criteria) assignedin school that is 78, the class consist of 28 students grade VB who reached the KKM is 12 students (43%) and students who have not yet reached the KKM is 16 students (57%) with average rating of class 71,10. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning achievement of social studies of grade VB in SD Negeri 79 Pekanbaru with the implementation of the inside-outside circle (IOC) model. The result of this research shows that the average value of basic score is 71,10 an increased in cycle 1 become 77,85. In cycle 2 the average value increased become 86,96. The activity of the teacher on the first learning of the cycle 1 got was 54,17% with the less category. The second learning was 62,50% with the enough category. On the first learning of the cycle 2 teacher activity increased become75,00% with the good category,at the second learning become 87,50% with the very good category. The activity of the students on the first learning of the cycle 1 got was 54,17% with the less category.The second learning was 62,50% with the enough category.At the first learning of the cycle 2 activity of students was 70,83% with the good category and the second learning was 95,83% with the very good category. The implementation of the inside-outside circle (IOC) can improve learning outcomes from an average of 71,10 to 86,96 with the percentage 23,20%. From this research it can be concluded that implementation of the inside-outside circle (IOC) model can be improve students learning outcomes of social studies of grade VB SD Negeri 79 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Inside-Outside Circle (IOC), social studies outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: Emotional intelligence is one of the factors that affect the learning process of students. To know the extent to which has achieved the objectives of learning then required assessment of learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation of emotional intelligence with the results of learning Indonesian of students. Emotional intelligence is the ability to motivate own self and survive from frustration, controlling impulse, and not exaggerating pleasure, managing moods and keeping stress burden not crippling the ability to think, empathize and pray. The components that exist in emotional intelligence are emotional self-awareness, managing emotions, utilizing emotions productively, empathy and foster relationships. This study is a quantitative research, the instrument used in the form of questionnaires and documentation of learning outcomes of even UTS (Mid Term) in the end of semester (2nd semester) period of learning 2016-2017 on the subjects of the Indonesian language. The data obtained from this study is that there is a correlation between emotional intelligence with learning result of Indonesian language subject the 5th grade student of elementary school group 1 Subdistrict Tampan Pekanbaru as much as 0,501. Medium relationship level and also emotional intelligence give influence to learning result of Indonesian language equal to 25% and 75% determined by other factor.Keyword: Emotional intelligence, learning result of Indonesian language subject.

Abstract

The study aims to enhance students’ learning outcome in science class by implement cooperative learning model with hidden chart media. Method of study is a classroom action research. The subject is a fifth grade, consisting of 25 students; 14 boys and 11 girls. The research instruments are test sheets, teacher and student observation sheets, and documentation files. The results show an improvement over each cycle. Teacher activity in first cycle was 70.83%, and increased to 79.17%. In second cycle was 91.67%, and increased to 95.83. Student activity in first cycle was 62.50%, and enhance to 75%. In cycle II was 83.33%, and enhance to 87.50%. The student's average score also shows improvement. The base rate is 59.60; increased to 70.72 at UH I, and increased to 79.04 in UH II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation cooperative learning model with hidden chart media can enhanceprimary students’ learning outcomes in science.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out how far the level of knowledge of teacher personality and social competencies possessed by PGSD students at the University of Riau as prospective educators. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used in this discussion is a quantitative method, namely data analysis and interpretation techniques in the form of measuring quantitative data through scientific calculations. The results of this study indicate that the level of knowledge of personality competencies possessed by PGSD students at the University of Riau in the 2017 class was 80.56%, the 2018 class was 80.23%, and the 2019 class was 81.89%. While the average knowledge of social competence of PGSD University of Riau students class of 2017 was 80.85%, class of 2018 was 81.05% and class of 2019 was 87.22%. The highest average personality competency knowledge is owned by the 2019 class with a total of 81.89%. While the highest average social competency is owned by the 2019 class with a total of 87.22%. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the online game Free Fire on the character of fifth-grade students at SDN 184 Pekanbaru. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study consist of students addicted to the game, students who play the game moderately, and students who do not play the game. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the online game Free Fire negatively impacts the students' discipline, responsibility, and social care. Students addicted to the game tend to have difficulties managing time, completing tasks, and social interactions. Conversely, students who do not play the game exhibit better discipline, responsibility, and more positive social interactions. The role of parents and teachers is crucial in mitigating these negative effects through proper supervision, guidance, and setting limits. The proposed solutions include cooperation between the school and parents, education on wise time use, and the development of more beneficial hobbies. It is hoped that these measures will minimize the negative impact of the online game Free Fire on students' character.

Abstract

A teacher needs to master basic teaching skills in carrying out learning activities. Basic teaching skills are one of the characteristics of a teacher in developing the learning activities carried out, this can be realized through action. The aim of this research is to describe and identify the knowledge of PGSD FKIP UNRI students regarding basic teaching skills. In this research, a qualitative research design was used, with a descriptive method that focused on analyzing student knowledge about basic teaching skills in the FKIP UNRI Primary School Teacher Education Study Program. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results revealed that the majority of PGSD FKIP UNRI students counted in the class of 2019 had sufficient knowledge of basic teaching skills. During their study journey, students also need to pay more attention to developing basic teaching skills, especially in terms of using learning media and evaluating learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media ajar Sudoku Pemecahan Masalah (SUPEMA) bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, kerjasama dan pemecahan masalah siswa Sekolah Dasar, penelitian ini menggunakan model PLOMP. Berdasarkan penelitian uji coba dengan ahli media dan ahli materi dari rata-rata skor seluruh aspek yaitu 96.23% dengan kategori “Valid”. Uji coba one to one diikuti oleh 4 siswa memperoleh predikat “sangat baik”. Uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh wawancara dengan respon sangat baik oleh siswa. Pada 2 uji respon guru memperoleh 95% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. Dengan berikut, maka pengembangan Game SUPEMA layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran di SDN 189 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This paper discusses the development of a valid and practical product of interactive learning media on the human respiratory system learning material at grade V elementary school. The method used is Research and Development by using the ADDIE model. This ADDIE model has five stages, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Sungai Apit. The research subjects involved 9 fifth-grade students and 3 teachers. The data collection techniques used in the research were interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques carried out by researchers were descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative descriptive analysis is used to organize suggestions from validators while quantitative analysis is used to organize validation and practicality questionnaires. The validity test results indicate that the developed interactive learning media achieved a highly valid category with a percentage score of 93.96%. Whereas the practicality of interactive learning media based on the teachers’ response questionnaire was 89.12% with very practical criteria. In addition, based on the student’s response practicality questionnaire was 91.11% with very practical criteria. Hence, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media on the human respiratory system learning material at grade V elementary school has met the valid and practical criteria so that it can be used by teachers and students in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Natural Science learning subject (IPA) is a science that studies the universe and its contents, events that occurred within, and complex and broad. Hence, appropriate interesting, and effective media-assisted earning models are needed to achieve students’ learning objectives and motivation. STAD as a cooperative learning model emphasizes the interactionbetween students and other students to motivate and help each other in comprehending and mastering the learning materials. The research is conducted to find out the effect of the Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning model on students' learning motivation in the classroom. The research was conducted offline. The research sample involved 60 students based on two classes at class VI of SDN 35 Pekanbaru, which consisted of 30 students in the control class taught through the conventional teaching method and 30 students in the experimental class taught through the STAD cooperative learning model associated with the solar system monopoly media. Data are obtained through pretest and posttest. The method used is a quasi-experimental research method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data are analyzed by using hypothesis testing and t-test analysis techniques. The results indicate that the hypothesis testing is a significant (2-tailed) result of 0.000. Based on the significant value < 0.05, it indicates that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of STAD cooperative learning model assisted by the solar system monopoly media on students’ learning motivation at class VI of SDN 35 Pekanbaru.
