Abstract

Sungai Petai village has a tourism sector that has the potential to build the economy and community welfare. The Tapian hometown tourist area has been open since 2022. There is still much work to be done in this tourist area. Currently, the Tapian area of the hometown provides tourism with various facilities. Among them are facilities like gazebos, Street Food, and baths. Our goal in serving Sungai Petai Village, especially in the Tapian Halaman Kampung Tourism Area, is to develop existing tourism potential. To create a good area or tourist village, it is better to continue to carry out more intense development. This is intended to attract visitors who will come to the tourist area. Our service results in creating creative waste education boards and promotional videos for tourism. With this, it is hoped that it can help increase public awareness of cleanliness in villages and tourist attractions and improve the quality of tourist areas in the village so that it can open up many jobs in these places. Thus, the economy of local communities will experience an increase.

Abstract

Saat ini sedang terjadi perubahan mendadak pada proses pembelajaran di Indonesia. Perubahan tersebut adalah hadirnya pandemi Covid-19. Perubahan cepat dalam kehidupan manusia karena virus corona mustahil tidak memengaruhi pendidikan anak-anak dan layanan sekolahnya. Semua proses belajar-mengajar yang terjadi secara formal di lembaga dipaksa berubah total menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh di rumah. Krisis “jangka pendek” saat ini dilalui oleh puluhan juta murid, guru, dan orang tua dengan susah payah. Sebagian bertransisi dan beradaptasi dengan rasa berdaya, mencoba belajar dan mengajar tanpa batas di antara wabah. Sebagian yang lain, tanpa akses yang terjangkau dan tanpa kualitas yang tersedia, pada akhirnya menjadi korban jangka panjang dari wabah corona. Hal ini memicu krisis belajar yang akan memperkuat kesenjangan pendidikan sampai bertahun-tahun ke depan. Banyak siswa yang mengeluh tertinggal materi pembelajarannya dan tidak bisa mengerjakan soal-soal yang telah diberikan oleh guru. Hal ini terjadi karena siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengerjakan soal-soal tersebut melalui media sosial. Kemajuan teknologi saat ini sangat pesat, oleh karena itu untuk mengatasi pembelajaran jarak jauh dapat digunakan media sosial daring sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam kondisi sekarang. Dalam pembelajaran daring, siswa dapat memanfaatkan berbagai media sosial dan aplikasi yang tersedia pada perangkat elektronik seperti telepon genggam, laptop, komputer, dan lain sebagainya. Guru juga harus selalu aktif dalam memberikan materi maupun informasi terkait pembelajaran daring. Selain itu, dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring terdapat beberapa kemudahan dan kendala.

Abstract

Interactive Learning Media (ILM) has been developed to represent the base of number concepts into a more interactive and meaningful learning experience. The first design of ILM is a computer-supported multimedia tool that explores number concepts within existing conceptual frameworks. Pre-service elementary teachers should be provided with learning that can optimize their understanding of number concepts. To collect and analyze data comprehensively, researchers employed the 4D development model, which includes the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate. This 4D development model was used to describe the ILM comprehensively. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that ILM effectively improved pre-service teachers’ conceptual understanding and facilitated independent learning about number concepts.

Abstract

The research was motivated by the low motivation of grade IV elementary school students. The study aims to determine extrinsic factors that influence the learning motivation of fourth-grade students in Gugus 2 Sail District Pekanbaru City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research sample consisted of 149 students. The data collection technique used is the questionnaire technique. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics. The results showed that extrinsic factors that affect student learning motivation at 8.26% were influenced by learning methods, 10.02% were influenced by teacher relations with students, 10.20% were influenced by student relations with students, 11.22% were influenced by discipline school, 8.61% influenced by learning tools, 10.93% influenced by school time, 10.70% influenced by learning standards above size, 10.66% influenced by building conditions, 10.20% influenced by curriculum, 9, 21% is influenced by homework. The conclusions of the study show that extrinsic factors that influence the learning of fourth-grade students of Gugus 2 Sail District Pekanbaru City is school discipline.

Abstract

This research aims at developing folklore story book of " Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah" and finding out its feasibility. The story book was designed by using coreldraw7. Model 4D was used as the research method by using four stages; those are define, design, develop and dessiminate, but it was only limited until the third stage. The data of this research was taken from a valid design-expert-instrument, a valid language-expert-instrument and students’ responses. The data was a quantitative data which was measured by using guideline citeria for assessment categories in determining the quality of the product. The research findings based on a design expert on draft 1 with average percentage of 81.4% with feasible category considered improved on draft 2 to 96% with highly feasible category. Furthermore, based on a language expert on draft 1 with the average percentage 68.75% with feasible category, it was considered improved on draft 2 to 95% with highly feasible category. For students’ responses, the average percentage was 94.5% with highly feasible category. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the product developed by the researcher was considered very proper to use as a learning source of literature at primary school.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the perception of parents in choosing television programs for the moral development of elementary school children in Kuok, Dusun Simpang Pawuo, Desa Pulai Terap RT 04 RW 02. This research utilized descriptive quantitative research. The subjects of this research were parents of elementary school students who lived at Dusun Simpang Pawuo RT 02 RW 04. The data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative analysis techniques. The results indicated that the percentage of the questionnaire on each indicator was more than 70%. The percentage of the indicator for Opinion was 87.2%, Response was 83.51%, Meaning was 80.75%, and Perception was 77.49%. This implied that first, parents must provide directions and understandings to children about the programs to be watched and also must provide assistance and explanations. Second, parents must provide supervision to the children so that they will be careful in choosing television programs. Third, parents should guide children to watch the programs that educate and uphold moral values in order that children could minimize watching unuseful programs. Four, admonitions and punishments from parents would provide a deterrent effect when children watched the uneducated programs. It was expected that through these efforts parents could guide the children to watch the programs that improved the moral reasoning of primary school-aged children at Dusun Simpang Pawuo RT 04 RW 02, Desa Pulau Terap, Kecamatan Kuok.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the low ability to read at the beginning among students, so the SAS method is applied to help students succeed in initial reading. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in pretest and posttest scores by applying Structural Analytical Synthetic (SAS) in the initial reading of elementary school students and to determine the increase from pretest to posttest. This type of research is a pre-experimental study with a pretest-posttest one group design, which is an experiment carried out in only one group without comparison. This study was conducted in class 1 with 34 students. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average reading ability before treatment (pretest) was 51.77, while the average reading ability after treatment (posttest) was 88.41, and the average value of gain normality was 0.76, which is categorized as high. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test with tcount = 51.080 and ttable = 2.0345 can be concluded that tcount > ttable, thus rejecting H0, which means significant. This indicates that there is a significant increase in initial reading ability in class I students between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the Structural Analytical Synthetic (SAS) method.
