Abstract

The study to determine the effect of variations in the composition of organic fertilizer from coffee husks on the productivity of red spinach (Amaranthus tricolor L), using a completely randomized design (CRD) with one control and four treatment combinations with six repetitions carried out for 30 days. Productivity includes the height and wet weight of red spinach. Data were analyzed using Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). In conclusion, the application of coffee husk organic fertilizer has a significant effect on the growth and productivity of red spinach, the best dose of treatment is P3 = 50% coffee husk + 12.5% ​​leaf waste + 25% livestock manure + 12.5% ​​husk charcoal.

Abstract

This research is a research and development research and development (R&D) that aims to develop interactive learning media in the immune system material based on android applications. The learning media developed in this study is a form of learning media innovation that is able to follow the modern era by utilizing the Android system through the Playstore feature. The product trial developed was carried out on students of class XI Science SMA N 1 Bandar Sribhawono, before the product trial was carried out a validation stage was carried out by a team of experts from the Muhammadiyah Metro University lecturer. Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that the overall percentage value of the expert team was 90.8%, so the media developed was included in the "very feasible" category for use. The product trial phase for students obtained results for the good category of 64.8% and the very good category of 27.4% so that the results obtained for the feasibility of the product were 92.2%. The results of these calculations can conclude that this android-based application is "very feasible" to be used in the learning process. Kata Kunci: android, Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Analisis Kebutuhan, Pengembangan

Abstract

Malaria is still a health problem in Indonesia caused by the protozoan genus Plasmodium through the bite of the Anopheles mosquito. One of the plants that can also be used to treat fever caused by parasitic diseases is bamboo (Bambusa sp.). The purpose of this research is to identify the type and potential of bamboo as an antimalarial compound in Lampung Province. This research be able to provide an overview of the diversity of bamboo species and their potential as an antimalaria compound in Lampung Provincein May-July 2020. Primary data collection methods were obtained directly in the field including bamboo stands, both growing wild and cultivating, and describing them. Morphological observations for identification such as rhizome root types; bamboo shoots; branching; culm; leaf; stem; and segments refer to the criteria used by Widjaja (1997). The data is analyzed descriptively and tabulated. The results obtained 14 species of bamboo consisting of 5 genera with 14 species: Gigantochloa robusta, Schizostachyum brachycladum (Kurz), Schizostachyum blumei, Gigantochloa atroviolacea, Gigantochloa pseudoarundinacea (Steud.), Bambusa vulgaris var. striata (Lodd.ex Lindl.), Gigantochloa apus (Kurz), Dendrocalamus strictus, Bambusa maculate (Widjaja), Bambusa glaucophylla (Widjaja), Dendrocalamus asper (Backer ex K. Heyne), Dinochloa scandens (Blume ex Nees Kuntze), Bambusa glaucophylla (Widjaja), Dendrocalamus asper (Backer ex K. Heey), Dinochloa scandens (Blume ex Nees Kuntze), Bambusa multiplex (Lour.) Raeusch. Ex Schult and Bambusa blumeana (Schult.f). Bamboo has the potential for crafts, construction, food, medicine (bamboo shoots from Bambusa vulgaris var. Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the effect of instructional methods and knowledge about the environment toward  environmental concern. The samples of the research were 60 students of biology education department, Muhammdiyah Metro University selected randomly. Data were collected using a valid instrument in form  questionare of environment concern and test of knowledge about environment with. Data were analyzed by using ANOVA 2 x 2. Findings of the research indicated that the environmental concern of students who were taught by quantum learning and had knowledge about the environment better than those who were taught using in conventional methods. Therefore, the quantum learning method  should be taken into consideration to increase the environmental concern on student with upper group of knowledge about the environment.Kata kunci: Kepedulian lingkungan, quantum learning, pengetahuan lingkungan

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat variasi adsorben terbaik (ampas kelapa, ampas tebu dan jerami) yang dapat digunakan untuk memurnikan minyak jelantah. Dalam sebuah penelitian eksperimental pemurnian minyak jelantah dengan menggunakan beberapa adsorben yang mengandung selulosa akan mendapatkan perbedaan dalam  hasil data yang terkait dengan karakterisasi kimia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Politeknik Negeri Lampung, yaitu analisis sifat kimia minyak. Metode penelitian terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap implementasi dan tahap pengolahan data. Dalam meneliti pemurnian minyak goreng limbah menggunakan variasi sifat kimia adsorben meliputi: kadar air, bilangan penyabunan, bilangan peroksida, bilangan iodium dan asam lemak bebas (ALB). Sifat kimia dari minyak dalam penelitian ini yang menghasilkan kualitas kadar air, asam lemak bebas, bilangan Peroksida, bilangan iodium adalah adsorben tunggal: ampas kelapa, dengan kata lain bahwa adsorben ampas kelapa memberikan perubahan positif untuk kualitas peningkatan pada pemurnian minyak jelantah.

Abstract

Pengembangan modul ini didasarkan pada pentingnya penggunaan modul bagi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran secara mandiri dan adaptasi dari proses pembelajaran saat ini yang menuntut penggunaan platform online dalam pembelajaran secara optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa pengembangan modul materi virus terintegrasi berbasis nilai-nilai Islami dalam E-Learning dan QR Code untuk SMA Kelas X yang layak digunakan oleh siswa. Dan untuk mengatasi masalah pembelajaran dengan mengembangkan bahan ajar yang lengkap dan sistematis untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran baik secara tatap muka maupun online. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan pada tahun 1974 yaitu define, design, develop dan disseminate. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, persentase hasil validasi yang diperoleh dari ahli materi dan evaluasi adalah 83%, ahli desain 78%, ahli bahasa 75%, dan ahli integrasi nilai-nilai islami 79% dan uji coba kelompok kecil dengan hasil analisis 86 %. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, modul materi virus terintegrasi nilai karakter yang bersumber dari nilai keislaman berbasis E-Learning dan QR Code untuk SMA kelas X cocok untuk siswa.

Abstract

In the environment of campus Muhammadiyah University of Metro, students care in maintaining the cleanliness of the campus can be said to be lacking. Many objects are thrown away at random, such as: candy wrappers, plastic snack foods, and various papers in the campus environment. This objectives of the research to obtain an empirical of the influence of scientific experience and environmental knowledge on environmental awareness.The research method used is ex post facto. The research was conducted in the Biology Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Metro. Implementation of research from March to July 2016. The population of this study is the students of Biology Education Departmen who take the course of Environmental Knowledge in the even semester of Academic Year 2015/2016 amounted to 124 people. Research sample is taken with proportional random sampling as much 68 people. Data analysis techniques using Two-Way Variance Analysis.Conclusion of the research are follow: 1. There is influence of scientific experience to environmental awareness, 2. There is influence of environmental knowledge to environmental awareness, and 3. There is no influence of scientific experience and environmental knowledge to environmental awareness.

Abstract

North Lampung Regency is one of the immature onion production. The environmental factors which affecting are the intensity of sunlight as well as liquid fertilizer. The objectives of the research were to prove empirically effect of sunlight intensity and LCN liquid fertilizer on onion production. The research design was using RAL (Completely Randomized Design). The samples of each treatment were 64 plants and 16 replications with randomly sampling. The data obtained were analyzed by 2-way ANOVA and Tukey's advanced test. From the data analysis concluded (1) there is effect of sunlight intensity on onion production, (2) there is effect of LCN waste liquid fertilizer on onion production; (3) there is interaction effect between sunlight intensity and LCN liquid fertilizer dosage on onion production (4) there is effect of onion production on LCN 300 ml liquid fertilizer dose factor which given 70% sunlight intensity is higher than 35% sunlight intensity (5) there is not real effect of onion production on the factor of pineapple liquid waste (LCN) 200 ml which given 70% sunlight intensity is lower than 35% sunlight intensity.
