Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and determine the effect of rewards on employee performance at PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Business Unit, To test and determine the effect of punishment on employee performance at PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Business Unit, To test and determine the effect of reward and punishment simultaneously on employee performance at PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Business Unit.Research Methods This thesis is a type of quantitative research, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents. In analyzing the data, the researcher used multiple regression data analysis with several steps of data validity test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing. The results of this study, showed the results of the t arithmetic value of 0.268 with a significant level of 0.791. This significant level is proven to be greater than 0.05, meaning that the reward has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Business Unit, the value of t count is 0.048 with a significant level of 0.962. This significant level is proven to be greater than 0.05, meaning that the Punishment variable has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Business Unit. In the simultaneous test (F test), it is known that F-count (2.005) F-table (3.35) and sig-p (0.000) 0.05, meaning that the Reward and Punishment variables simultaneously or jointly have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bank of North Sumatra Sharia Business Unit.

Abstract

Islamic finance is a system that originates from the Al-Quran and Sunnah, as well as from the interpretations of the scholars of these sources of revelation. In its various forms, the structure of Islamic finance has been a civilization that has remained unchanged for fourteen centuries. The public seems to be increasingly aware that the concept of Islamic economics has become more open, this is evidenced by the presence of non-Muslim customers who choose Islamic banks, even some conventional financial institution entrepreneurs are starting to look at Islamic banking and opening sharia businesses. The interaction of non-Muslims towards the sharia economy has more or less changed the mindset and unfounded suspicions towards Muslims as well as eroded the attitude of Islamophobia. With the emergence of a growing sharia economy, the paradigm of thinking of non-Muslims towards Islam is increasingly changing, becoming more open, and leading positively. In order to have a more significant impact on the economy, the Islamic financial system needs to have a more significant portion of total financial assets, namely at least 20 percent. Therefore, the government, central bank and economic agencies concerned with the Islamic financial system need to work harder

If economic capitalist make happiness as a goal end activity economy to create attitude hedonism, then Islamic economics does not do it. Make Benefit as the key the happiness of the world and the hereafter. Shop in Islam do only with intention worship to Allah SWT. Generation the biggest millennials influence to trends, especially fashion, must be capable enter habit consumption Islamic economics to in his life without excessive in spend treasure and always remember that Treasure own the rights of others and always limit self. so that No affected by trends moment this. happen with prioritize what is needed and eliminates what is wanted or not really required

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of destination image and tourist facilities on Revisit Intention and Recommendation Intention through Domestic Tourist Satisfaction at Lake Toba Tourism Destinations. The population in this study is domestic tourists. This study will be tested on tourists visiting tourist destinations on Lake Toba during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample size in this study was calculated from the size of the indicator multiplied by 5 to 10. Because this study used 4 construct variables with a total of 55 indicators, the sample required in this study was at least 55 x 5 = 275, people. The types of data collected to support the variables studied are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data analysis method used is the Structural Equation Model from the LISREL 8.80 statistical software package. The results of the study show that the image of tourist destinations and facilities has a significant positive effect on tourist satisfaction. Tourism facilities have a significant positive effect on Recommended Intention. Destination Image and Tourist Satisfaction have a significant positive effect on Revisit Intention. Tourist satisfaction has a positive effect on recommended intention significantly. Satisfaction can positively mediate the effect of Destination Image on Revisit Intention and tourist satisfaction can positively mediate the influence of tourist facilities on the Revisit Intention of Domestic Tourists at Lake Toba Tourism Destinations.

Abstract

This research aims to prove the concept of Islamic Green Banking in the banking system in Indonesia, precisely at the Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) bank and to proves that CSR, Green Accounting, Growth Financing, NPF, Liability on Green Banking have a simultaneous and partial test effect on Green Banking. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, using secondary data from the bank's Annual Report from 2015-2020 at PT. BPD Aceh Syariah, PT. BPD Sumatera Utara, PT. BPD Jambi, PT. BPD. Nagari, PT. BPD. Riau and Kepulauan Riau, PT. BPD Sumatera Selatan and Bangka Belitung. The results of the study prove that the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Growth Financing, Green Accounting, NPF variable have an effect on Green Banking except for Liability variable which shown negative result on Green Banking and this study is that the application of Green Banking is a pattern that can be implemented by the BPD through digitizing online services.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how Muslim micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the food and beverage sector apply Islamic business ethics. This research uses qualitative methods, especially descriptive with field studies. Data was collected through observations, books, journals and websites. The research results show that only three to four principles of Islamic business ethics are applied to Muslim MSMEs in the food and beverage sector in Hamparan Perak, while several other principles have not been implemented because economic actors do not understand Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and product quality on customer satisfaction at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) Syariah Branch Office in Medan. Service quality and product quality are considered two key factors that can affect customer satisfaction in the Islamic banking industry. The research method used is quantitative, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to BTN Syariah Medan customers. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the extent to which these two independent variables influence customer satisfaction as the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that both service quality and product quality have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction. Service quality, which includes aspects such as speed, friendliness, and staff professionalism, is proven to be a primary factor in enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, product quality, which encompasses various offered Islamic banking products, also has a significant contribution to customer satisfaction. The conclusion of this study is that PT. Bank Tabungan Negara Syariah Branch Office in Medan needs to continuously improve their service quality and product quality to achieve higher customer satisfaction levels. The practical implications of this study show that improvements in these two aspects can increase customer loyalty and drive the growth of the Islamic banking business. This research provides an important contribution to the Islamic banking literature and offers strategic recommendations for bank management in their efforts to enhance the quality of their services and products.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance in an Islamic perspective (a case study of bank muamalat city hall of Medan). The research method used in this study is quantitative research and data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this research is data quality test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis test and determination test. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the variable t (partial) test results showed that the significant value of leadership style (X1) on employee performance at Bank Muamalat Balai Kota Medan (Y) was 0.001 <0.05 and the value of t count was 4.301 > t table  2,012 ,so Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 is accepted. As for seeing the magnitude of the influence of leadership style on employee performance at bank muamalat, look at the "Beta" table in the Standardized Coefficients column. From the table above, it is obtained that the Beta for the leadership style variable (X1) is 0.531 or 53.1%. This means that there is a significant influence of leadership style on employee performance. The results of the t (partial) test show that the significant value of work motivation (X2) on employee performance at bank muamalat (Y) is 0.000 <0.05 and the t count  value is 4.108 > t table 2,012, then Ho2 is rejected and Ha2 is accepted. This means that partially there is significant influence from work motivation (X2) on employee performance at bank muamalat (Y). From the table above, it is obtained that the Beta value of the work motivation variable (X2) is 0.514 or 51.4%. This means that there is a significant influence of work motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

People are still not aware of the surrounding digital environment so they cannot use their income to save, invest, protect and meet economic needs. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the community in improving financial literacy and financial inclusion, using library research methods in the form of books, journals, and issues that are currently developing. The result of the research is that with the advantages that the sharia community has as an inseparable part of the social system of the Muslim community in Indonesia, the community has the potential to play its role in developing Islamic financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia. The potential possessed by the community at least includes, among others, helping to support the National Strategy for Indonesian Financial Literacy; mediator development of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion through social capital; and open cooperation with a participatory culture.  Keywords: Community, Financial Literature, and Financial Inclusion
