Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of students to understand the concept of rolling motion through Phyphox practicum-based learning using the guided inquiry model. This study uses a guided inquiry model which consists of three stages, namely initial knowledge tests, practicum-based learning activities and final knowledge tests. This study uses a percentage analytical descriptive technique, namely by calculating the percentage value of the initial ability test results, the final ability test using the N-Gain and practicum performance assessment scores (roll's experiment) in the learning process. The research is located in the Department of Physics FMIPA-K UNIMA. A sample of active semester 5 students majoring in physics for the 2022/2023 academic year with 15 research subjects. The results of data processing and analysis obtained an average initial test score of 14.33 and an average final test value of 89.2 and performing statistical tests with the N-Gain test obtained an average result of 0.87 so that there was an increase in student physics learning outcomes after applying the treatment and the results of the practicum performance assessment (Roll's Experiment) in the learning process with an average task achievement of 88.75% so that there is an understanding of physics concepts in students.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a clear and comprehensive picture to students of class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 3 Tondano about learning management which includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating participatory learning based on project-based learning on pascal’s law material in physics subjects. The method used in this research is mix method with concurrent model which is a combination of two methods, especially qualitative and quantitative. The structure of this research uses qualitative methods while quantitative methods are used to assist qualitative information. The results of this study are starting from the planning stage including the syllabus and lesson plans adapted to the strategy. The next stage is organizing which result in the function and role of management components. The implementation stage is in accordance with the syntax of participatory learning. This implementation stage shows that the implementation of management functions in participatory learning based on project-based learning on pascal’s law physics material for SMA N 3 Tondano class XI IPA 2 students can shape students’ cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies through making learning projects. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating participatory learning based on project-based learning is well implemented as seen from the cognitive, affective and psychomotor assessment rubrics.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes after participating in learning by using the guided discovery learning model on heat transfer material. The method used in the research is Classroom Action Research through two cycles, namely the first cycle of two meetings and the second cycle of one meeting. The subjects of this research were students of class XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tabukan Utara totaling 20 students. The instruments used in this research are tests carried out at the end of each meeting and observation sheets. Of the 20 students with cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessment results at the first meeting the percentage of completeness was 60% and increased at the second meeting to 80% while at the third meeting 95%.. This shows an improvement in student learning outcomes at the end of each lesson in cycles I and II. The results of this research show that learning by using guided discovery learning models can improve student learning outcomes on heat transfer material. Thus the application of guided discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes on heat transfer material for students of class XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tabukan Utara.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental thing that must be considered in order to improve the quality of human resources. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the media file manager in learning particle dynamics. This research was conducted at the Physics Department of FMIPAK, Manado State University. The subjects in this study were taken using simple random sampling technique with second semester physics students as research subjects and in the design using one group pretest posttest. The instrument in this study was a test in the form of essay questions in the form of a pretest and posttest to measure students' cognitive learning outcomes after being given treatment. Based on the results of the study, it was calculated using the paired sample t-test from the results of the pretest posttest sig <0.05 and the N-gain test was 0.7 with a gain value of 70%. So through the above explanation it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the use of media file managers in particle dynamics learning is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve physics learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning model. The research method used is a class action research method using two cycles. The learning device used is, lesson plan. The KKM determined at school is 75. In the first cycle of the material on Elasticity and Hooke's Law the number of students who completed the KKM was 10 people and in the second cycle the number of students who completed there were 26 people. So the results of the study show that by giving the action of applying the Problem Based Learning model, the average class percentage increases when students complete their studies. It was concluded that there was a result of learning Physics on Elasticity and Hooke's Law material in class XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Tondano.

Abstract

Manajemen pembelajaran yang baik akan menentukan baik buruknya pembelajaran. Untuk menghasilkan pembelajaran yang berkualitas, diperlukan manajemen yang baik yang dapat mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan. Pembelajaran kolaboratif dan partisipatif merupakan filsafat pembelajaran yang memudahkan para siswa bekerjasama, saling membina, belajar dan berubah serta maju bersama harus dapat berjalan dengan baik sehingga manajemen pembelajaran dibutuhkan agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai secara efektif dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan manajemen pembelajaran kolaboratif dan partisipatif pada mata kuliah termodinamika dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, sampai dengan evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kombinasi (mix method) data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, angket, lembar observasi dan tes. Data dianalisis dengan flow model (kumpul, reduksi, display, verifikasi). Hasil Penelitian diperoleh bahwa penggunaan manajemen pembelajaran efektif dalam perkuliahan termodinamika materi hukum-hukum termodinamika.

Abstract

Penggunaan model dan media pembelajaran yang tepat merupakan faktor utama yang mempengaruhi penguasaan konsep peserta didik.  Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan adalah tracker. Aplikasi tracker merupakan aplikasi yang didesain khusus untuk menganalisis fenomena-fenomena fisika seperti fenomena gerak dua dimensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efektivitas implementasi project based learning menggunakan aplikasi tracker pada materi gerak dua dimensi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Penguasaan konsep diukur menggunakan uji gain terhadap hasil pretest dan posttest. Faktor gain yang didapatkan pada setiap aspek kognitif peserta didik yaitu 0,37 untuk aspek mengingat (C1), 0,10 untuk aspek memahami (C2), 0,16 untuk aspek menerapkan (C3), dan 0,46 untuk aspek menganalisis (C4). Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat dikatakan bahwa implementasi project based learning menggunakan aplikasi tracker cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep gerak dua dimensi peserta didik.

Abstract

Mount Tampusu is a mountain located in North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. Mount Tampusu is a mountain flanked by two lakes resulting from volcanic activity, namely Lake Linow and Lake Tondano, also around Mount Tampusu, there are geothermal manifestations such as hot water pools and steamy soils. The surface temperature around Mount Tampusu has changed from year to year. Whether the changes occur significantly or only slightly, surely it affects the vegetation around the mountain. The purpose of this study was to determine the surface temperature and vegetation stress in the area of ​​geothermal manifestation around Mount Tampusu based on the Remote Sensing Method. In this study, the analysis uses Landsat 8 satellite imagery in 2020. The value of surface temperature is obtained from the thermal band processing of Landsat 8 satellite imagery which is then correlated with the vegetation index value obtained from NIR and Red band processing using the correlation method. The results showed that the high vegetation index was in the manifestation area with a value of 0.58. The value of the influence of surface temperature on vegetation -0.70596. A negative value (-) means that the vegetation and surface temperature are inversely correlated. The higher the vegetation, the lower the surface temperature value and vice versa, the higher the surface temperature, the lower the vegetation index.

Abstract

Molecules and polymers with a conjugated chain structure such as the organic molecule Disperse Red-19 (DR-19) have delocalized π-electrons along the conjugation chain of the molecule and are easily moved by external electric fields, so that these materials have a large electrical polarizability and exhibit an optical response. which is quite high and very fast. This research was conducted with the aim of studying the surface effect of the Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) substrate in regulating the molecular orientation of the DR-19 film and the effect of the external electric field (E =1.9 MV/m) in regulating the molecular orientation of the DR-19 film. The fabrication method used is the E-PVD method, namely the PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) method assisted by an external electric field. ) and the electric field E = 1.9 MV/m. The films were analyzed and characterized using X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD). The XRD characterization results showed that with the help of an external electric field of 1.9 MV / m, the resulting film showed an increased structural order, marked by the formation of a crystalline structure in the DR-19 film. The E-PVD method (PVD method assisted by an external electric field E) is very effective in arranging DR-19 molecules so that the molecules can be arranged in an orderly parallel perpendicular to the surface of the ITO substrate.

Abstract

The temperature in sea water varies at each depth. The temperature of sea water at the surface is higher and the temperature at a deeper point is decreasing slowly. This study aims to determine the model of the temporal, spatial function, and dynamic models of daily temperature gradients above sea level and in sea water. This type of research is included in the type of exploratory research that is quantitative in nature. The research is in Tulaun hamlet, Lalumpe Village, Kombi District, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The research was conducted for 24 hours at 9 points, ranging from 0 cm, 10 cm, 30 cm, 60 cm, 100 cm, 150 cm, 220 cm, 300cm, to 400cm. The research variables were temperature and light intensity. Data processing in this study is to enter existing data into the Matlab application. The results of the study of changes in the functional model above sea level and in seawater are influenced by the heat absorption process of air temperature.
