Abstract

Hidup sebagai penyandang disabilitas merupakan tantangan yang sulit, terutama karena jumlah penyandang disabilitas sangat tinggi di seluruh dunia. Mereka sering menghadapi berbagai kesulitan emosional, sosial, dan pekerjaan karena keterbatasan yang mereka alami, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya harga diri pada penyandang disabilitas. Perbedaan ini dapat memicu perubahan psikologis berupa kecemasan. Tujuannya untuk memahami hubungan harga diri dengan kecemasan pada penyandang disabilitas. Desain penelitian yang digunakan cross sectional dengan metode deskripsi korelasi. Jumlah populasi dan sampel sebanyak 37 responden sehingga menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengukuran data menggunakan kuesioner RSES dan kuesioner ZSAS. Analisis data dengan uji spearman rank didapatkan hasil adanya hubungan yang signifikan dengan p-value 0,009 pada kedua variabel yang bermakna adanya hubungan antara harga diri dengan kecemasan pada penyandang disabilitas dengan kekuatan hubungan cukup kuat serta arah hubungan negatif. Dukungan dan pendekatan yang intensif sangat diperlukan agar meningkatkan harga diri dan menurunkan kecemasan penyandang disabilitas, oleh karena itu diperlukan informasi untuk pemberi pelayanan tentang pendidikan kesehatan yang dapat meningkatkan harga diri.

Abstract

This article reviews the important role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in developing religious literacy skills through teaching the Qur'an to first-grade elementary school students. By using innovative teaching methods, PAI teachers aim to create a learning environment that supports and develops reading, writing, and speaking skills about Islamic teachings. This article explains how PAI teachers play the role of agents of character formation and spirituality of children in the context of teaching the introduction of the Qur'an. Thus, this article provides insight into the efforts of PAI teachers to introduce the Qur'an from an early age, understand its meaning, and internalize the teachings contained in it. Introducing that the Qur'an is a provision for students' lives to become devout human beings. and developing religious literacy skills. Religious literacy needs to be introduced, taught, and habituated from an early age so that they can live in modern society today. So that students do not just know and carry out religious activities without knowing the purpose and purpose of the value being carried out. This article aims to find out (1) what are the contributions of PAI teachers in introducing the Qur'an to first-grade students. (2) What are the obstacles for PAI teachers in introducing the Qur'an to first-grade students? Type of research used. The method used in this study uses a qualitative research method, this research instrument uses observation, to check the validity of the data to get accurate results. From the results of this study, the researcher stated that PAI teachers are student learning resources, facilitators, managers, motivators, and evaluators. Therefore, the contribution of PAI teachers in introducing the Qur'an to first-grade students is very important.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the application of audio-visual media to improve the ability to write drama texts through the project-based learning (PjBL) model for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Mesuji. This study is included in classroom action research (PTK) with 20 students as research subjects. The data collection method uses test, observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses quantitative methods to observe student performance and assess the results of work in the form of drama texts. The results of the study indicate that the use of audio-visual media and the project-based learning model can improve the quality of learning to write drama texts, seen from changes in student attitudes in several aspects. Teacher activity in cycle I with a total score percentage obtained of 71.67% increased to 90% in cycle II. While student activity in cycle I with a total score percentage obtained of 70% and increased in cycle II to 86.7%. The total value of students' drama text writing skills in cycle I obtained 1035 or the average value of students classically was 51.75 with a percentage of completion of 10%. In cycle II, the total value of drama text writing skills increased by 1645 or the average value classically was 82.25 with a percentage of completion reaching 80%.

Abstract

Background. The number of menopausal women in Indonesia is currently 7.4% of the total population, and its number is estimated up to 11.54 % in 2020. The menopausal period is preceded by premenopausal phase in which the estrogen hormone is decreased, causing premenopausal syndromes that may lead to stres in women. Objective. This study was to assses the effectiveness of audio-visuals and booklets as educational medium on the knowledge about premenopause, self-efficacy and stres level of premenopausal women in Bandung. Method. Design of the study was quasi experiment using pre-post test with control group design. There were 76 participants, consisting of 38 participants in intervention group and 38 participants in control group. Results. This study found that the scores of knowledge was higher 6.09 points, self-efficacy was higher 3.05 point, and stres level was decrased by 1.23 point in the intervention group than in the control group. The use of audio-visual and booklet as educational medium was associated with increasing knowledge and self-efficacy as well as effective in reducing stres level in premenopausal women in Bandung City. Conclusion. Providing education through audiovisuals and booklets was effective in increasing knowledge of premenopausal women concerning premenopause.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The postpartum period, up to 6 weeks after birth, is prone to complications such as perineal wound infections. Traditional treatments such as boiled water from betel leaves are often used, but research shows that binahong leaves are more effective at speeding up the healing of perineal wounds, with faster recovery times and significant results. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of boiled water from betel leaves and binahong leaves in healing perineal wounds in postpartum women and to compare the effectiveness of the two. The research design used is quantitative research with a Quasi Experiment design without a control group. The research location was carried out at PMB Midwife Nurkhasanah, with a population of all postpartum mothers there, namely 100 mothers. The research sample consisted of 30 postpartum mothers who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, randomly selected into two treatment groups according to the placement of the sample size by the researcher. The research instrument was a REEDA scoring observation sheet, which was used to observe signs of healing of perineal wounds. Data was collected through observation of the condition of the perineal wounds in both treatment groups. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test to assess significant differences between the two perineal wound treatment groups. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the two treatment groups, with a t value of 2.792 and a significance value (Sig.) of 0.009. Cross tabulation results show that the use of binahong leaves tends to provide better results in healing perineal wounds compared to betel leaves, with 73.3% of cases classified as good for binahong leaves, while only 26.7% for betel leaves. Boiled water from binahong leaves has a more effective effect in accelerating the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum women compared to betel leaves. Keywords: Postpartum, Perineal Wounds, Lemongrass Leaf Decoction, Binahong Leaf Decoction  ABSTRAK Masa nifas, hingga 6 minggu setelah kelahiran, rentan terhadap komplikasi seperti infeksi luka perineum. Perawatan tradisional seperti air rebusan daun sirih sering digunakan, namun penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daun binahong lebih efektif untuk mempercepat penyembuhan luka perineum, dengan waktu pemulihan lebih cepat dan hasil yang signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas air rebusan daun sirih dan daun binahong dalam penyembuhan luka perineum pada ibu nifas serta membandingkan efektivitas keduanya. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experiment tanpa kelompok kontrol. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di PMB Bidan Nurkhasanah, dengan populasi seluruh ibu nifas yang berada di sana, yakni sebanyak 100 ibu. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 orang ibu nifas yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi, dipilih secara acak kedalam dua kelompok perlakuan sesuai dengan penempatan jumlah sampel oleh peneliti. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi penilaian scoring REEDA, yang digunakan untuk mengamati tanda-tanda kesembuhan luka perineum. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi terhadap kondisi luka perineum pada kedua kelompok perlakuan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t-test untuk menilai perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok perlakuan luka perineum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok perlakuan, dengan nilai t sebesar 2.792 dan nilai signifikansi (Sig.) 0.009. Hasil tabulasi silang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan daun binahong cenderung memberikan hasil yang lebih baik pada penyembuhan luka perineum dibandingkan dengan daun sirih, dengan 73.3% kasus tergolong baik untuk daun binahong, sementara hanya 26.7% untuk daun sirih. Air rebusan daun binahong memiliki efek yang lebih efektif dalam mempercepat penyembuhan luka perineum pada ibu nifas dibandingkan dengan daun sirih. Kata Kunci: Nifas, Luka Perineum, Rebusan Daun Sereh, Rebusan Daun Binahong

Abstract

Kasus remaja dengan HIV (RDHIV) di Indonesia tercatat lebih banyak dibandingkan Negara Malaysia pada tahun 2023. RDHIV merupakan masa transisi dari kanak-kanak menjadi dewasa beserta menghadapi tantangan terkait HIV yang dideritanya, sehingga mendorong RDHIV agar dapat beradaptasi secara psikologis. Kemampuan penyesuaian diri secara terhadap tantangan dan kesulitan yang dialami disebut dengan resiliensi. Penelitian ini, dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran jenis kelamin, ketataan beribadah dan sumber penularan dengan tingkat resiliensi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Teknik sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan metode convenience sampling sehingga didapatkan 70 RDHIV. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Child & Youth Resilience Measurement-Revised (CYRM-R), analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dengan frekusensi dan presentase untuk data kategorik sedangkan mean dan standar deviasi untuk data numerik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan RDHIV yang memiliki tingkat resiliensi tinggi cenderung memiliki karakteristik jenis kelamin laki-laki (22), ketaatan beribadah RDHIV yang taat beribadah (29) cenderung menunjukkan tingkat resiliensi tinggi dan sumber penularan pada RDHIV sebagian besar karena perilaku berisiko (24).

Abstract

Depression is a common mental illness among older people. Earlier research has proven that poor social support is a major risk indicator for later-life depression. The present research has a goal of analyzing the relationship between support from friends and depressive symptoms among older people living at social institutions. A descriptive correlational design was used with a total sampling method. The population subjected to the research was 44 older people who lived at the Tresna Werdha Social Home Wisma Kartika Yatira. A structured questionnaire to rate support from friends was applied, containing validated items to assess both perceived and provided support. The results indicated that 25 respondents had moderate levels of support from their friends, whereas 19 had poor levels of support from their friends. Regarding depression, 23 respondents had no signs of depression, and 21 had slight signs of depression. There was a statistically significant relationship between support from their friends and depression (r = 0,722, p = 0.000). The evidence indicates that levels of support from their friends are linked with higher levels of depressive signs. From the findings, a proposal is made to adopt the SMB (Sharing Motivation Together) intervention—a peer-based intervention aimed at promoting mutual encouragement, emotional attachment, and activity among older persons at institutional settings.

Abstract

The objective to be achieved in this study is to find out empirical evidence about the mediating role of job satisfaction on the influence of leadership style and organizational climate on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research used is explanatory research. The study was conducted at the Office of Education and Culture of Probolinggo City. The population is all Civil Servants at the Office of Education and Culture of Probolinggo City, totaling 56 people. The researcher selected the sample using a saturated sampling technique because the population is relatively small. The data analysis technique used is partial least square- structural equation modeling using smart-pls software. The results of the study show that leadership style can improve employee performance. Leadership style can improve job satisfaction. Organizational climate is not able to improve employee performance. Organizational climate is able to improve job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is able to improve employee performance. Job satisfaction plays a role in mediating some of the influence of leadership style on employee performance. Job satisfaction plays a role in perfectly mediating the influence of organizational climate on employee performance
