Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran perubahan konseptual terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Tekanan di SMP Negeri 1 Merapi Barat. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian adalah nonequivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 72 siswa yang diambil secara acak dalam 2 kelas yaitu 36 siswa kelas VIII-A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa kelas VIII-B sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran perubahan konseptual, sedangkan kelas kontrol hanya diajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional metode ceramah. Baik kelas kontrol maupun kelas eksperimen sama-sama diberi tes awal (pre-test) dan tes akhir (post-test). Berdasarkan analisa data nilai rata-rata pre-test untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 41, dan nilai rata-rata pre-test kelas kontrol adalah 34. Selain itu, nilai rata-rata post-test untuk kelas eksperimen yaitu 83 dan nilai rata-rata post-test untuk kelas kontrol yaitu 62. Dari analisa data gain termormalisasi diperoleh hitungt = 3,89 dan tabelt = 1,996. Ini berarti hitung t > tabel t sehingga hipotesis nol (H0) yang menyatakan tidak ada pengaruh model pembelajaran perubahan konseptual terhadap hasil belajar siswa Pokok Bahasan Tekanan di SMP Negeri 1 Merapi Barat, ditolak, dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) yang menyatakan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran perubahan konseptual terhadap hasil belajar siswa Pokok Bahasan Tekanan di SMP Negeri 1 Merapi, diterima.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, model pembelajaran perubahan konseptual

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know improvement junior high school students’ critical thinking skills through integrated type on science learning and students’ respons. Using quasi-experimental methods, the study employed non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. The research involved 68 seventh grade students using integrated type. Critical thinking test was used to collect data as pretest and posttest. The data showed that participant utilized integrated type in experimental groups performed significantly better than controls group (p>0.05) on critical thinking test. The result showed that integrated type in science learning can lead to learning gains that exceed those critical thinking in classes where mainly convensional science learning methods are used.Keterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan berpikir dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh seseorang dalam menghadapi tantangan perkembangan IPTEK secara bijak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP melalui pembelajaran IPA tipe integrated dan tanggapan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent pretest and posttest control group. Subyek penelitian adalah 68 siswa kelas VII yang terbagi kedalam kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pengukuran keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan tes pilihan ganda beralasan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,52 dengan kategori sedang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,29 dengan kategori rendah.  Hasil uji t nilai N-Gain keterampilan berpikir kritis menghasilkan penolakan terhadap Ho (p>0.05). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran terpadu tipe integrated konsep perubahan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP. Hampir keseluruhan siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap pembelajaran terpadu tipe integrated.

This type of research is a quasi experimental study, the study design was nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study, 72 students were chosen randomly in the two class, which is 36 students of class VIII-A as the experimental class and 36 students of class VIII-B as the control class. Experimental class were treated by using a conceptual changes learning model, while the control class is only taught by conventional teaching model. Both the control and experimental classes were given an initial test (pre-test) and final test (post-test). Based on the data analysis of the average pre-test for the experimental class is 41, and the average pre-test control class is 34. In addition, the average post-test for the experimental class is 83 and the average post-test for the control class is 62. From the analysis of the data obtained normalized gain = 3,89 and = 1,996. This means so that the null hypothesis (H0) which states no influence conceptual changes learning model for result of student learning on the subject of pressure in State Junior High School Number 1 in West Merapi, rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) states that there is an influence conceptual changes learning model for result of student learning on the subject of pressure in State Junior High School Number 1 in West Merapi, accepted.

Abstract

This study is to determine the effect of capital structure on firm value in banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used is quantitative data. The population in this study were 8 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, while the sample used in this study used the Purposive Sampling formula of 40. Data collection was carried out through documentation. The data analysis method used is the classic assumption test, regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 23 for Windows software. Based on the results of research that examines the effect of the Debt-to-Equity Ratio on Price Book Value, the t value = 4.801 is greater than the t table = 2.02439, with a significance level of 0.060 greater when compared to the α = 5% level, then H1 is accepted. The constant value of 3.826 means that, if the DER variable does not change, then PBV has a value of 3.826. Meanwhile, the DER variable coefficient value of -0.262, means that if DER increases by one percent, PBV decreases by 0.262. These results indicate that statistically DER has a negative and insignificant effect on PBV in Banking Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Thus, the hypothesis stating that DER has a negative and insignificant effect on PBV in Banking Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange is proven.

Abstract

This qualitative inquiry delves into the intricate landscape of financial decision-making within corporations, aiming to shed light on leverage decisions, market efficiency dynamics, and financial policy implications. Employing thematic analysis, this study systematically reviews existing literature from academic databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. The research synthesizes insights from peer-reviewed articles, books, and reports published within the past decade, employing rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure relevance and credibility. The findings underscore the multifaceted nature of leverage decisions, revealing a complex interplay of factors such as tax policies, industry norms, and growth opportunities. Moreover, the significance of market efficiency in financial decision-making is confirmed, despite challenges to the assumptions of the efficient market hypothesis posed by anomalies in stock returns and behavioral biases among investors. Additionally, financial policy implications emerge as pivotal in guiding corporate operations, encompassing dividend policy, capital structure decisions, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations. The study advocates for a holistic understanding of financial decision-making processes, integrating insights from finance, economics, and sustainability. From a managerial perspective, the findings offer actionable insights for practitioners, emphasizing the importance of contextual factors, behavioral insights, and effective governance mechanisms in navigating the complexities of corporate finance. This research contributes to advancing knowledge in the field of corporate finance and provides guidance for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers in enhancing financial decision-making practices.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Desa Takuti merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Mataraman yang memiliki potensi untuk dilakukan pengembangan produk berbasis minyak atsiri dari tanaman sereh. Pada kegiatan sebelumnya telah dilakukan penyuluhan dan demonstrasi pengambilan minyak atsiri secara destilasi dengan sasaran warga masyarakat desa. Pada kegiatan pendampingan ini menyasar kader PKK Desa Takuti yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kader PKK dalam membuat sediaan sabun dan lilin aromaterapi sehingga dapat meningkatkan kreativitas UMKM setempat. Metode kegiatan terdiri dari 3 tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan berupa perizinan, tahap pelaksanaan yang diawali dengan penyerahan dan perakitan alat destilasi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan kelompok dalam pembuatan sabun dan lilin aromaterapi, lalu tahap terakhir yaitu evaluasi berupa pengisian kuesioner pretest dan postest. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu dihasilkannya produk sabun dan lilin aromaterapi serta adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader PKK. Kegiatan pendampingan terhadap kader PKK Desa Takuti berjalan lancar dengan nilai hasil kuesioner kepuasan peserta sebesar 97%.                                                                                        Kata Kunci: Desa Takuti, Sabun, Lilin Aromaterapi, Destilasi, Minyak Atsiri ABSTRACT Takuti Village is one of the villages in Mataraman District that has the potential to develop essential oil-based products from lemongrass plants. In previous activities, outreach and demonstrations on the extraction of essential oils by distillation were carried out targeting village residents. This mentoring activity targets PKK cadres in Takuti Village with the aim of increasing the ability of PKK cadres in making aromatherapy soap and candles so that they can increase the creativity of local micro, small, and medium enterprises. The activity method consists of 3 stages, namely handing over and assembling the distillation equipment, group assistance in making aromatherapy soap and candles, and filling out the pretest and posttest questionnaires. The results of this activity are the production of aromatherapy soap and candle products as well as increasing the knowledge and skills of PKK cadres. Mentoring activities for Takuti Village PKK cadres went smoothly with a participant satisfaction questionnaire score of 97%. Keywords: Takuti Village, Soap, Aromateraphy Candles, Distillation, Esential Oils

Abstract

The government of Ghana has the intention of adding nuclear to its energy mix. Due to water availability for cooling, the coastal areas will be the right place for siting a nuclear power plant. This study was carried out to assess the distribution of 137Cs should liquid radioactive waste be released into coastal waters because of a non-routine event. The distribution was studied for the first month after the release. In the first week following the release, 137Cs was distributed within 16 km of the Ahanta West coastal waters with a concentration of about 9.1 Bq. L-1. On the seventh day, the distribution reached the entire coast of the Nzema East with a lower concentration with the bulk of the concentration still in the Ahanta waters. The 137Cs continued to spread into the eastern coast until the thirty-first day with a concentration of less than 1 Bq. L-1. This study provides useful data for future monitoring along the coast.

Abstract

Learning will be successful if students do not memorize the information they obtain but can criticize the information they obtain, relate their condition and the surrounding environment to this information, and use it to make changes. This research was conducted to measure the level of critical thinking of junior high school students in the City of a Thousand Rivers on natural science subject matter based on local wisdom. The research results illustrate that students' critical thinking skills still tend to be low, this requires continuous improvement to train students' critical thinking skills to achieve one of the educational goals.Keywords: Critical Thinking Skills, Mapping, Middle School Students.Pembelajaran akan berhasil ketika siswa bukan menghafalkan informasi yang didapatkannya, tetapi mampu mengkritisi informasi yang diperolehnya, mampu menghubungkan kondisi diri dan sekitarnya dengan informasi tersebut, dan menggunakannya untuk melakukan suatu perubahan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur tingkat berpikir kritis peserta didik SMP di Seribu Bungai pada materi pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam berbasis kearifan lokal. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik masih cenderung rendah, hal ini mengharuskan adanya perbaikan berkelanjutan untuk melatihkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik demi mencapai salah satu tujuan pendidikan.Kata kunci: Kearipan Lokal, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Pemetaan, Peserta Didik SMP.

Abstract

Sosialisasi produk halal bagi pelaku usaha Industri Rumah Tangga Pangan (IRTP) di Desa Kramatmanik Kecamatan Angsana merupakan upaya penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan terhadap standar halal. Dengan meningkatnya permintaan produk halal di pasar global dan nasional, serta pentingnya memastikan produk pangan yang dikonsumsi masyarakat memenuhi standar syariah. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada pelaku usaha tentang proses sertifikasi halal, sehingga produk mereka dapat beraing dipsar yang luas. Metode pelaksanaan ini meliputi, penyuluhan dan pendampingan kepada pelaku usaha yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman pelaku usaha tentang pentingnya sertifikasi halal dan membantu meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku usaha dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan usaha memenuhi standar halal, sehingga sosialisasi produk halal dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas produk pangan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Kramatmanik Kecamatan Angsana. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini juga dapat menjadi contoh bagi desa-desa lain dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan terhadapt standar halal. Halal product socialization for home-based food industry entrepreneurs in Kramatmanik Village, Angsana District, is a crucial effort to increase awareness and compliance with halal standards. The background of this activity is the growing demand for halal products in the global and national markets, as well as the importance of ensuring that food products consumed by the community meet Sharia standards. The purpose of this socialization is to provide knowledge and skills to entrepreneurs about the halal certification process, so that their products can compete in a wider market. The implementation method includes counseling, training, and direct assistance to entrepreneurs. The results show that halal product socialization can increase entrepreneurs' awareness and understanding of the importance of halal certification. Additionally, this activity also helps improve entrepreneurs' capacity in managing and developing businesses that meet halal standards. Thus, halal product socialization can contribute to improving the quality of food products and the welfare of the Kramatmanik Village community. This activity can also serve as an example for other villages in increasing awareness and compliance with halal standards.
