Abstract

This qualitative inquiry delves into the intricate landscape of financial decision-making within corporations, aiming to shed light on leverage decisions, market efficiency dynamics, and financial policy implications. Employing thematic analysis, this study systematically reviews existing literature from academic databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. The research synthesizes insights from peer-reviewed articles, books, and reports published within the past decade, employing rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure relevance and credibility. The findings underscore the multifaceted nature of leverage decisions, revealing a complex interplay of factors such as tax policies, industry norms, and growth opportunities. Moreover, the significance of market efficiency in financial decision-making is confirmed, despite challenges to the assumptions of the efficient market hypothesis posed by anomalies in stock returns and behavioral biases among investors. Additionally, financial policy implications emerge as pivotal in guiding corporate operations, encompassing dividend policy, capital structure decisions, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations. The study advocates for a holistic understanding of financial decision-making processes, integrating insights from finance, economics, and sustainability. From a managerial perspective, the findings offer actionable insights for practitioners, emphasizing the importance of contextual factors, behavioral insights, and effective governance mechanisms in navigating the complexities of corporate finance. This research contributes to advancing knowledge in the field of corporate finance and provides guidance for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers in enhancing financial decision-making practices.

Abstract

Kemampuan digital menjadi semakin penting bagi UMKM dalam menghadapi dinamika pasar yang semakin kompetitif. Namun, banyak UMKM di Desa Turus, Banten masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pengembangan bisnisnya. Oleh karena itu, program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Tematik Universitas Mathla'ul Anwar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia melalui pelatihan digitalisasi UMKM bagi masyarakat Desa Turus. Program ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan dan melibatkan 23 mahasiswa KKN yang berkolaborasi dengan aparat desa, tokoh masyarakat, dan pelaku UMKM di Desa Turus. Kegiatan utama meliputi pemetaan potensi UMKM, pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran dan administrasi, pendampingan pembuatan konten digital, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Selain itu, program ini juga mencakup sosialisasi pentingnya literasi digital bagi masyarakat. Hasil program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk mengembangkan usahanya. Sebanyak 75% peserta pelatihan mampu membuat konten digital yang menarik dan efektif untuk meningkatkan penjualan. Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya literasi digital dalam mendukung pembangunan desa. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi pengembangan UMKM berbasis digital di desa-desa lain

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of workplace gender dynamics and character education on the mental health of married working women, and to assess the mediating role of family harmony. This study advances HRM literature by repositioning family harmony as a boundary condition in work–family interface models, rather than a universal mediating mechanism. Using a quantitative design, data from 180 families in Banten Province, Indonesia, were analyzed with PLS-SEM. The findings reveal that character education does not significantly influence mental health, while workplace gender conditions exert a direct effect, with inequality increasing psychological strain. External factors, including income and number of children, remain more dominant predictors. Although both predictors influence family harmony, it does not mediate the relationship with mental health. These results imply that organizations and policymakers must prioritize gender-equitable work environments and integrated work–family policies to enhance women’s mental well-being.
