Abstract

This article measures and identifies waste and designs alternatives to reduce waste in one SME in Yogyakarta, thus increasing efficiency. The lean manufacturing approach uses Value Stream Mapping that applies sustainability concepts. The research methodology used in this research is case study strategy. Based on the analysis of Current State Mapping there are many activities that are not important and should be reduced. The sustainability aspect in Gendhis Bag covers the environmental aspect with a 10% limit on skin waste and 15% for PVC waste. Energy consumption for production is 750 watts and labor cost is Rp 32,800 per unit. Safety operators have a very small accident rate, while the largest Physical Load Index score is in the cutting department. Future state VSM shows that NNVA and NVA time can be significantly reduced and lead time can be reduced, so production can increase 12 units per day.

Abstract

Improving information systems is essential to increase user satisfaction which then has a positive impact on the institution. This study aims to measure the importance and performance of website service quality attributes on the i-Gracias ITTP using Importance Performance Analysis. This study integrate e-ServQual and WebQual to measure the level of student satisfaction with i-Gracias as a web-based information system service comprehensively. Generally, the satisfaction score shows that the performance of quality attributes does not meet the expectations of students as users. Of the 30 quality attributes measured, there is one attribute in quadrant I, 12 in quadrant II, 13 in quadrant III, and 3 in quadrant IV. The attributes that describe the fundamental functions of i-Gracias as an online service system are efficiency, security, fulfillment, information quality, and accessibility. The next priority for improvement for i-Gracias is efficiency improvement and process simplification.

Abstract

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is one of the alternative public transportations in urban areas, which has begun to be implemented in some cities of Indonesia. By finding out the effectiveness of BRT as a mass transportation system, it is necessary to study the expectations of users and non-users of the Trans Jateng Purwokerto-Purbalingga BRT regarding the perceived social, economic, and environmental impacts. This study uses the text Clustering method to group public opinion based on similarities so that it can be analyzed further for policymaking. As a result, the majority of the community gave positive expectations of BRT implementation’s perceived social, economic, and environmental benefits. On the other hand, public opinion on the presence of BRT is not always positive and has a significant impact. Improvements are needed in several aspects that are considered not to meet public expectations to maximize the function of BRT as a substitute for public transportation for private vehicles.

Abstract

Lean manufacturing merupakan sebuah konsep yang sering digunakan oleh industri untuk mencapai keunggulan kompetitif dengan cara mengurangi pemborosan yang tidak memberi nilai tambah dengan biaya yang minimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan performansi lini perakitan manual yang menghadapi kesulitan untuk mendapatkan performansi maksimum dengan pendekatan Lean-Kaizen. Current state VSM menggambarkan kondisi lini perakitan saat ini guna mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang terjadi dan memfokuskan area perbaikan menggunakan Kaizen. Arah utama strategi Kaizen yang diterapkan yaitu mengurangi waktu siklus serta kegiatan yang tidak memberi nilai tambah dan dideskripsikan melalui future state VSM. Hasilnya, penerapan Lean-Kaizen terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan produksi harian dan produktivitas lini perakitan.

Abstract

Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kelurahan (LPMK) Kelurahan Karangklesem Purwokerto mengembangkan peluang pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan mengembangkan produk minuman herbal berbahan dasar daun kelor bernama Kelorika. Hasil dari observasi pendahuluan Tim IT Telkom Purwokerto dengan Kelorika mendapati dua permasalahan, yakni kurangnya ketrampilan dalam editing foto dan video serta proses branding dan digital marketing produk Kelorika yang masih belum optimal di media sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu observasi pendahuluan dan Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dan pelatihan tertruktur sesuai dengan kebutuhan mitra Kelorika. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu Pengukuan evaluasi pelatihan digital marketing menunjukkan hasil yang baik, dimana dari 8 instrumen, 7 menunjukkan nilai diatas 70% dan hanya 1 instrumen yang nilai persetujuanya 62% yaitu pada analisis strategi pesaing melalui digital marketing yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Sementara itu, hasil pengukuran evaluasi pemahaman pembuatan konten foto dan video memiliki potret ketercapaian kegiatan yang baik, hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari nilai 4 instrumen yang digunakan menunjukkan nilai diatas 80%.

Abstract

Cinema is one of the entertainment industries for people in Indonesia. From cinema visitor data in 2019-2021, there is a very significant decrease from 27,646,450 viewers in 2019, 12,059,127 in 2020, and 2,586,386 in 2021. The high number of COVID-19 cases caused the decline, so a level PPKM was issued to stop the spread of this virus. This study aimed to determine the level of satisfaction of consumers or cinema visitors with services during the pandemic and to analyze the level of importance of service performance at the XYZ Purwokerto cinema. Respondents used are 100 respondents, based on calculations using the Lemeshow formula. The methods used will be the CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and the IPA (Importance Performance Analysis). The result shows that the satisfaction level of cinema visitors is 74.65%, which means in the satisfied category. Meanwhile, for the results of the analysis using the IPA method, the average level of consumer interest is 4.22, while the performance level is 3.73. Indicators are included in quadrant A or main priority so that there is a need for service improvements that are immediately improved. For example, in the statement of security and cleanliness guarantees during the cinema environment, employees maintain good communication between visitors and employees during the pandemic. The suggested improvement is to sterilize the cinema regularly, spray disinfectant to avoid exposure to viruses, and improve security by adding CCTV in every part of the cinema environment.

Abstract

Peningkatan kepuasan konsumen adalah aspek fundamental dalam keberlangsungan sebuah bisnis. Banyak industri yang muncul berdampak pada persaingan antar bisnis, sehingga tiap usaha berusaha untuk menjadi konsumennya puas dan loyal. UMKM Ahul Saleh merupakan salah satu usaha mikro di Banyumas, Jawa Tengah yang bergerak di bidang industri makanan dengan produk unggulan keripik saleh. Dalam perkembangannya, UMKM Ahul saleh mengalami penurunan omset sebagai akibat dari penjualan yang menurun. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kepuasan konsumen sebagai dasar untuk pengambilan kebijakan efektif berdasarkan dimensi 7P. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) dan Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan pelanggan saat ini. Secara umum, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai CSI sebesar 75.19% yang berarti bahwa konsumen UMKM Ahul Saleh telah puas terhadap layanan yang diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis IPA, terdapat empat atribut pada kuadran I (prioritas utama), tujuh di kuadran II (pertahankan prestasi), 10 di kuadran III (prioritas rendah), dan satu di kuadran IV (berlebihan). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa masih perlu adanya peningkatan layanan untuk atribut-atribut yang memiliki tingkat kepuasan rendah namun memiliki tingkat kepentingan tinggi, yaitu pada dimensi orang (people) agar tercapai kepuasan yang maksimal.

Abstract

The current phenomenon is that many areas have the potential as tourist destinations but are not managed and equipped with proper facilities as tourist areas. Teluk Penyu is one of the tourism destinations that have the potential to develop. Therefore, improvements to the management of the Teluk Penyu need to be made to increase the interest of visiting tourists. This study uses the Kano Model, which focuses on the facilities and presents the Tourist Attraction Variable (A4), including accessibility, amenities, attractions, and ancillary. The results of this study indicate that the satisfaction attributes of A4 can be grouped into Kano's satisfaction category, namely one attribute in the must-be category, eight in one-dimensional, seven in attractive, and four in indifferent. Therefore, the priority for improvement starts from the must-be, one-dimensional, and attractive categories.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in raw material inventory is overstock or stockout conditions. The healthcare industry, including pharmaceuticals, has been experiencing uncertainty since the Covid-19 pandemic. Then impacts panic buying and stockpiling, which can lead to unpredictable spikes in demand, stockouts, and disruptions to the inventory system. The research was conducted at ABC Pharmacy in Yogyakarta, which experienced this problem. In this study, optimization of drug supply was carried out by measuring ware­house capacity, and safety stock, increasing the number of orders and reorder points using the Min-Max and the economic order quantity models. A simulation of inventory optimi­zation planning was carried out using Monte Carlo to see inventory projections for the next three months. Overall, the EOQ model simulation shows the most optimal results by showing the average total inventory cost of Rp. 103,579, where this number represents the lowest number of total inventory costs when compared to other simulation models. It also shows that the EOQ model is 86% more efficient in inventory cost than the Min-Max model. Comparison of the total cost of inventory The results of the three methods are calcu­lated according to current demand and simulation of the EOQ method, which produces the minimum total inventory cost, followed by the company's initial model and the Min Max inventory method.

Abstract

Food loss occurs during production, handling, and post-harvest processing. Food loss also occurs because the product is under quality and shelf-life over. In addition, the performance and knowledge of farmers also need to be improved to minimize food loss. Food loss in the milk supply chain occurs due to spills, damage, and product contamination caused by operator negligence and poor handling procedures due to the lack of material handling and operational performance. This study aims to determine the effect of material handling and operational performance on food loss in the milk supply chain. The method used is a quantitative method with a statistical test Chi-Square. The results show that most material handling cases involve manual milking and milk storage. Another cause of food loss is the high production of bacteria, which impacts milk quality. In operational performance, the primary reason is communication among farmers regarding the cleanliness and handling of cattle during production. New farmers with low experience are expected to attend training to increase production capacity and avoid bacterial contamination.
