Abstract

A sheep required sufficient nutrients for growth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sago pulp (A metro-xylone sago) in various levels of administration in rations of growth male cross hair sheep in weaning for 8 weeks. This paper described using a completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial consisting of 4 treatments with 5 replications. The treatments were as follows: PO = 100% field grass, P1 = 30% field grass + 70% reinforcement feed (based sago pulp 30%), P2 = 30% Field grass + 70% reinforcement feed (based sago pulp 40%), P3 = 30% field grass + 70% reinforcement feed (based sago pulp 50%). Parameters measured were daily weight gain (PBBH) in (g/head/day), feed consumption (g/head/day) and feed conversion. The result showed that highest daily weight is (P1) with weight gain 46,78 (g/head/day) and significant effect to (P0) with lowest weight gain 37,14 (g/head/day). Highest feed consumption is (P1) with consumption 525,57 (g/head/day) while the lowest (P0) 379,46 (g/head/day) and highest feed conversion is (P2) 11,81 while the lowest (P0) 10,22 and effect no significant

Abstract

In chemistry and agriculture, oil palm seedlings really need complete nutrients for their growth. So this research aims to determine the testing of several types of bamboo leaf mulch, palm leaf mulch and sugar cane leaf mulch and (POC) on the growth of oil palm (Elaeis Giuneensis Jacq) seedlings in the Pre Nursery and their interactions. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (mm), wet weight (grams) and dry weight (grams). Based on the results of the research carried out, it can be seen that the test treatment of several types of mulch had no significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, wet weight and dry weight. The research results (POC) of banana peel did not have a significant effect on the number of leaves, stem diameter, wet weight and dry weight and had a significant effect on plant height. The interaction between several types of mulch and (POC) had a significant effect on the number of leaves and dry weight.

Abstract

This research aims to test the concentration of POC Nitrogen and POC Potassium on the growth of oil palm plant seeds (Elaeis guineensis Jacq). The method used in this research was a Randomized Group Design (RAK) which consisted of 2 treatment factors. The first treatment is the POC Nitrogen Concentration Test which consists of N0=Control, N1= 1%, N2= 2%, N3= 3%. The second treatment is the POC Potassium Concentration Test K0=Control, K1=1%, K2=2% and K3=3%. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf width (cm) and stem diameter (cm). The research results showed that the POC Nitrogen Concentration Test had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height (cm), number of leaves (cm) and leaf width (cm) but had no significant effect on the stem diameter parameter (cm). In the POC Potassium Concentration Test, it showed a real influence on the stem diameter parameter (cm) but an insignificant effect on the parameters of plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands) and leaf area (cm). The interaction between the POC Nitrogen and POC Potassium Concentration Tests showed unreal results for each observation parameter.
