Abstract

The problem this research is how to learn storytelling at grade VII C SMP Tri Sukses Natar, South Lampung. Based on the research aims to describe problem of learning storytelling at grade VII C SMP Tri Sukses Natar, South Lampung. Which is focused on the planning, implementation, and evaluatiom of learning storytelling. The research used descriptive method. The sources of research is storytelling learning activities at grade VII C SMP Tri Sukses Natar, South Lampung. Data collection of techniques in study is activity observation learn and student, video record, interviewing, observing, implementation of learning, and evaluation of teaching storytelling. Analysis technique used an interactive model data analysis based on the theory of Miles and Huberman. Pursuant to result of planning, teacher give complete formal RPP. Execution happened two activity, activity learn and student activity. The evaluation, teacher use technique of tes written and practice.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah pembelajaran mendongeng siswa kelas VII C SMP Tri Sukses Natar Lampung Selatan tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran mendongeng siswa kelas VII SMP Tri Sukses Natar Lampung Selatan, yang difokuskan pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran mendongeng. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah kegiatan pembelajaran mendongeng di kelas VII C SMP Tri Sukses Natar Lampung Selatan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, rekaman video, wawancara, mengamati perencanaan, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran mendongeng. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data model interaktif yang mengacu pada teori Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil pada perencanaan, guru memberikan RPP formal yang lengkap. Pada pelaksanaan terjadi dua aktivitas, yaitu aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa. Pada evaluasi, guru menggunakan teknik tes tertulis dan praktik.Kata kunci: instrumen, mendongeng, pembelajaran.

Abstract

The problem of this research was how is the characteristic of characters in 9 Matahari novel by Adenita and its feasibility as the lesson of Indonesia literature in Senior High School (SMA). The objectives of this research were to describe the characteristic of characters and its classification in 9 Matahari novel by Adenita and also to determine its feasibility as the lesson of Indonesia literature in senior high school (SMA).The research method that was used in this research was qualitative method. The data source of this research was 9 Matahari by Adenita. Data collecting technique and data analysis in this research was text analysis technique.The result of the research showed that some characteristic of the characters which were included  in this novel, that were clever, generous, principled, spit-fire, authoritative, active, interest, assertive, like to give an advice, pessimist, lover, optimist, willing sacrifice, grateful, smart, tough, strong will, high aspiration, and loyal to the religion. Based on its character classification, (a) the main character was Matari Anas, he was generous, interest, lover, grateful, loyal to the religion, principled, assertive, tough, strong will, high aspiration, optimist, clever, active, and smart. Additional characters were Yati Ayati, she was generous, interest, and liked to give an advice; aunt Erna, she was generous; Hera, she was interest, willing sacrifice, authoritative, and clever; Pandu, He was  interest, and spit-fire; Lena, she liked to give an advice; Mom Hesti, she liked to give an advice; Arga, He liked to give an advice; Dedi, he liked to give an advice, (b) protagonist character was Matari Anas and antagonist character was Biran Anas, (c) static character was Yati Ayati and dynamic character was Biran Anas.9 Matahari novel bu Adenita was suitable to be used an alternative lesson of Indonesia literature in Senior High School (SMA). It was based on the election criteria of  literature learning, it was seen from three aspects, they were curriculum aspect, literature aspect, and character education aspect.being observed from character education aspect, the characteristic of the characters which were described by the author in this novel can be used as a lesson. moreover, the characteristic of characters that can be used as lesson of character education are smart, generous, principled, active, interest, assertive, like to give an advice, lover, optimistic, willing sacrifice, grateful, clever, tough, strong will, high aspiration, and loyal to the religion.Key words: characteristic of characters, classification of characters, advisability

Abstract

This research aimed at describing religious commitment on aspect of belief dimension, practice dimension, experience dimension, dimensions of knowledge, dimension of concequences from the novel of Wo Ai Ni Allah by Vanny Chrisma, and its lesson plan at SMA. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The result showed that the writer of novel Wo Ai Ni Allah described the character who believes to the truth of her religion in making religious commitment. The character complied doing religious activity based on religious order and feels religious feeling in many experiences. The religious knowledge of the character of dogma was motivated her to do religious activities. This novel can be as alternative of the lesson plan to teach at SMA especially class XII in the second semester with the analysis of novel text in oral and written as the basic competence.Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan komitmen beragama pada aspek dimensi keyakinan, dimensi praktik, dimensi pengalaman, dimensi pengetahuan, dimensi konsekuensi yang terdapat pada novel Wo Ai Ni Allah karya Vanny Chrisma, dan rancangan pembelajarannya di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam berkomitmen beragama pada tokoh novel Wo Ai Ni Allah pengarang sudah menggambarkan bagaimana keyakinan tokoh terhadap ajaran agamanya, kepatuhan tokoh dalam mengerjakan kegiatan religius yang dianjurkan oleh agamanya, tokoh mengalami perasaan dan pengalaman yang religius, pengetahuan tokoh terhadap ajaran agama dalam kitab sucinya, tokoh berperilaku yang dimotivasikan oleh ajaran agamanya, dan Novel Wo Ai Ni Allah dapat dibuat rancangan pembelajarannya sebagai bahan pembelajaran di SMA, khususnya kelas XII semester 2, dengan kompetensi dasar menganalisis teks novel baik melalui lisan maupun tulisan.Kata kunci: komitmen, novel, rancangan pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the learning of writing short story at the first grade of SMP Negeri 1 Tumijajar Tulang Bawang Barat. The research used descriptive qualitative design. The result of the research showed that the teacher had done three steps in learning. They were: lesson planning, implementating, and assessing. In lesson planning, the teacher made the lesson plan without including the model of learning but other components had been included completely based on the lesson plan’s components in 2013 curriculum. In the implementation of learning, there were two activities: teacher’s activities and students’ activities. The activities that were done by teacher including three activities: pre activities, while activity and post activity. The assessment that was done by teacher including affective assessment through observation technique, cognitive assessment through oral and written test, and psychomotor assessment through practice test.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tumijajar Tulang Bawang Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melakukan tiga tahapan dalam pembelajaran yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Pada perencanaan pembelajaran, guru membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) tanpa mencantumkan model pembelajaran sedangkan komponen yang lain sudah dicantumkan berdasarkan komponen-komponen RPP pada Kurikulum 2013. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran terdapat dua aktivitas, yaitu aktivitas guru dan siswa. Aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh guru meliputi tiga kegiatan, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup. Penilaian yang dilakukan oleh guru mencakup penilaian kompetensi sikap dengan teknik observasi, penilaian kompetensi pengetahuan dengan teknik tes tulis dan tes lisan, dan penilaian kompetensi keterampilan dengan teknik tes praktik.Kata kunci: cerita pendek, menulis, pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the ability to paraphrase a poem into a narrative essay in class X SMA Negeri 1 Talangpadang academic year 2014/2015. Based on the analysis, the value of (a) the suitability aspect of the theme is quite with an average score of 69.02; (b) aspects of the essay title selection is quite with an average score of 62.84; (c) the principal aspects of the unity between the sentence and the sentence is quite explanatory in the essay with an average score of 67.95; and (d) aspects of the elements of a narrative essay is quite builder with an average score of 64.56.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan memparafrasakan puisi ke dalam sebuah karangan naratif pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Talangpadang tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh nilai (a) aspek kesesuaian tema tergolong cukup dengan skor rata-rata 69,02; (b) aspek pemilihan judul karangan tergolong cukup dengan skor rata-rata 62,84; (c) aspek kesatuan antara kalimat pokok dan kalimat penjelas dalam karangan tergolong cukup dengan skor rata-rata 67,95; dan (d) aspek unsur-unsur pembangun karangan naratif tergolong cukup dengan skor rata-rata 64,56.Kata kunci: naratif, parafrasa, puisi.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe the myths contained in the song lyrics of Serenade album by Ebiet G. Ade and to design it as a literary learning material in junior high school. Qualitative method was used in this research. The results show that the lyrics of the songs in the Serenade album carry three common myths that contain the value of love, divinity, and social. The myth that contains the value of love describes love should be expressed in the right time and romantic attitude and commitment will make love awake. The myth of divine value represents the peace that a man will have after repenting sincerely. The myth that brings social value illustrates that disaster is a warning for humankind and togetherness fraternity. The results of this research could be designed as a literary learning material in junior high on fantasy story material.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mitos yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu album Serenade karya Ebiet G. Ade dan merancangnya sebagai bahan pembelajaran sastra di SMP.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lirik lagu dalam album Serenade membawa tiga mitos umum yang berisi nilai cinta, ketuhanan, dan sosial. Mitos yang berisi nilai cinta menggambarkan bahwa cinta harus diungkapkan dalam waktu yang tepat dan sikap romantis dan komitmen akan membuat cinta terjaga. Mitos yang berisi nilai ketuhanan menggambarkan kedamaian yang akan didapat manusia setelah bertaubat dengan sungguh. Mitos yang membawa nilai sosial menggambarkan bahwa bencana merupakan sebuah peringatan bagi manusia dan kebersamaan menjalin persaudaraan.Hasil penelitian dapat dirancang sebagai bahan pembelajaran sastra di SMP pada materi cerita fantasi.Kata kunci: lirik lagu album serenade, mitos, pembelajaran.

Abstract

The research which was done by the research was aimed to discuss the characterization in Pak Guru novel written by Awang Surya and the lesson plan for SMA. The purposes of this research were to describe the characterization in the novel, the character types, the character personality, the character potrayal technique, and to describe the lesson plan for SMA. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative method. The source of the data were the text in Pak Guru novel. The result of this research was in the form of characterization which were: the character personality, the character types, and the character potrayal technique in Pak Guru novel and the lesson plan for SMA.Penelitian yang dilakukan penulis membahas penokohan dalam novel Pak Guru karya Awang Surya dan rancangan pembelajarannya untuk SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan penokohan yang di dalamnya terdapat jenis-jenis tokoh, watak tokoh, serta teknik pelukisan tokoh dan mendeskripsikan rancangan pembelajarannya untuk SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks novel Pak Guru. Hasil penelitian ini berupa penokohan yaitu watak tokoh,jenis tokoh, dan teknik pelukisan tokoh yang terdapat dalam novel Pak Guru dan rancangan pembelajarannya di SMA.Kata kunci: tokoh, watak tokoh, teknik penokohan, jenis tokoh.

Abstract

The research problem is the principle of cooperation novel Ranah 3 Warna. The goal is to describe the principle of cooperation Novel Ranah 3 Warna. Using descriptive methods. The data sources is Novel Ranah 3 Warna, 473 pages . The results include the principle of cooperation and compliance violations. Overall, (74.80%) comply with all maxims; (5.24%) comply with quality, relation, manner, breaking quantity; (4.44%) obey quantity, relation, manner, breaking quality; (1.41% ) obey the quantity, quality, manner, breaking relations; (0.81%) obey the quantity, quality, relation, breaking ways; (1.01%) obey relations, ways, breaking the quantity and quality; (1.61%) obey quality and how, breaking the quantity and relations; (0.20%) and quantity obey relations, quality and manner violated; (0.81%) obey the quality, quantity breaking, relationships, ways; (1.82%) obey the relation, breaking the quantity, quality, ways; (0.20%) obey the way, breaking the quantity, quality, relation, (0.20%) violated all maxims.Masalah penelitian ini adalah prinsip kerja sama novel Ranah 3 Warna. Tujuannya mendeskripsikan prinsip kerja sama novel Ranah 3 Warna. Menggunakan metode deskriptif. Sumber data novel Ranah 3 Warna, tebal halaman 473. Hasil penelitian prinsip kerja sama meliputi penaatan dan pelanggaran. Abstract

The problem of this research is how is the image Enong figures in the novel of Cinta dalam Gelas written by Andrea Hirata. The purpose of this research is to describe the image Enong figures in the novel and the worthiness as a material lesson of literature in SMA. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The data resources were taken from the novel Cinta dalam Gelas written by Andrea Hirata. It is found that the novel makes use of (1) image of a female figure Enong, (2) image Enong figure as a child, (3) Enong character image as a sister , (4) image Enong figure as friend, (5) image Enong figure as members of the community, and (6) image Enong figure as workers. Novel Cinta dalam Gelas is worthy to be used as a alternative learning material for students in SMA in terms of (1) aspect of language, (2) psychological aspect, and (3) aspect of cultural background.Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah citra tokoh Enong dalam novel Cinta dalam Gelas karya Andrea Hirata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan citra tokoh Enong dalam novel dan kelayakannya sebagai bahan sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Cinta dalam Gelas karya Andrea Hirata. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan (1) citra tokoh Enong sebagai perempuan, (2) citra tokoh Enong sebagai anak, (3) citra tokoh Enong sebagai kakak (4) citra tokoh Enong sebagai sahabat, (5) citra tokoh Enong sebagai anggota masyarakat, dan (6) citra tokoh Enong sebagai pekerja. Novel tersebut layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar siswa di SMA ditinjau dari (1) aspek bahasa, (2) aspek psikologi dan (3) aspek latar belakang budaya.Kata kunci: bahan ajar, citra tokoh, novel.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the ability to find the main idea of the paragraph at grade X SMA Negeri 2 Pringsewu academic years 2013/2014. This research aimed to describe the ability to find the main idea of the paragraph at grade X SMA Negeri 2 Pringsewu academic years 2013/2014. The method of this research used descriptive. The population consists of 287 students spread into 9 classes. The sample are 45 students. Data collected is done through objective tests. The results showed that the ability to find the main idea of the paragraph is in category enough, with an average score of 56,2. Weakness of the students in finding the main idea of the paragraph is on aspect of finding the main idea at the end of paragraph which is in poor category, with an average of 41,8, while the highest average score is on the ability to find the main idea in the beginning paragraph with an average score of 69,2 category as good.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan menemukan ide pokok paragraf siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pringsewu tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menemukan ide pokok paragraf siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Pringsewu tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini dengan jumlah 287 siswa yang tersebar dalam 9 kelas. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 45 siswa. Pengumpulan data melalui Tes Objektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kemampuan menemukan ide pokok paragraf dalam kategori cukup dengan rata-rata 56.2. Kelemahan siswa dalam menemukan ide pokok paragraf terletak pada aspek menemukan ide pokok di akhir dan di akhir paragraf yang tergolong kurang dengan rata-rata 41,8, sedangkan skor rata-rata tertinggi terletak pada aspek kemampuan menemukan ide pokok di awal paragraf dengan rata-rata 69,2 tergolong baik.Kata kunci: ide pokok, kemampuan, menemukan.
