Abstract

The objectives of this research were to describe the physical description of the main characters in the novel of Hujan Bulan Juni, Pingkan Melipat Jarak and Yang Fana Adalah Waktu by Sapardi Djoko Damono and its use as learning material in Indonesian language and literature for senior high school 12th grade in second semester. This study adopted qualitative-descriptive method. The result of the research showed that Sapardi Djoko Damonouses more accelerated installmentpresentation, analytical technique, subjective description in describing the physic appearance of the main characters. The result of the research could be used as learning material for 12th grade senior high schools which was aimed for students to analyze and to design novels by considering the content and structure based especially in KD.3.9 analyzing the content and structure of novel and KD.4.9 designing novel or novelet by considering the content and structure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan deskripsi fisik tokoh utama dalam novel Hujan Bulan Juni, Pingkan Melipat Jarak dan Yang Fana Adalah Waktu karya Sapardi Djoko Damono dan pemanfaatannya sebagai bahan ajar Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di SMA kelas 12 semester genap.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sapardi Djoko Damono lebih banyak menggunakan penyajian akselerasi berangsur, teknik analitik, jenis deskripsi subjektif, saat mendeskripsikan penampilan fisik tokoh utama dalam novel Hujan Bulan Juni, Pingkan Melipat Jarak dan Yang Fana Adalah Waktu. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai materi ajardi SMA kelas XII semester genap yang bertujuan agar siswa mampu menganalisis dan merancang novel bedasarkan isi dan kebahasaannya sesuai pada KD 3.9 menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel dan KD 4.9 merancang novel atau novelet dengan memperhatikan isi dan kebahasaan. Kata kunci: deskripsi fisik, tokoh utama, dan pemanfaatan

Abstract

The problem in this research is the efectiveness of sentences in the trip report at the second grade students of MTs Hidayatul Muslihin Way Kanan on academic year 2011/2012. This research aimed to describe the effectiveness of sentences including integrity, alignment, explicity, and frugality in trip report of second grade students of MTs Hidayatul Muslihin Way Kanan on academic year 2011/2012.The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data source for this research is trip report of second grade students of MTs Hidayatul Muslihin Way Kanan on academic year 2011/2012 which consist of 30. From the data source, it has been settled that there are 515 sentences. Based on the result analysis, it was known that effective sentences are 345 sentences with percentage 66,99 , meanwhile ineffective sentences are 170 sentences with percentage 33,01. Ineffective sentences itself consist of unfrugality, unintegrity, unalignment.Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah keefektifan kalimat dalam laporan perjalanan siswa kelas VIII MTs Hidayatul Muslihin Kabupaten Way Kanan tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan kalimat yang meliputi keutuhan, kesejajaran, ketegasan, dan kehematan dalam laporan perjalanan siswa kelas VIII MTs Hidayatul Muslihin Kabupaten Way Kanan tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah laporan perjalanan siswa kelas VIII MTs Hidayatul Muslihin kabupaten Way Kanan tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 berjumlah 30 laporan. Dari sumber data yang telah ditetapkan terdapat 515 kalimat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui keefektifan kalimat 345 kalimat dengan persentase 66,99, sedangkan ketidakefektifan kalimat 170 kalimat dengan persentase 33,01. Ketidakefektifan kalimat tersebut meliputi ketidakutuhan, ketidaksejajaran, ketidakhematan.Kata kunci: kalimat, keefektifan, laporan perjalanan.

Abstract

The problems in this research are how the local colour in drama script "Aruk Gugat" by Iswadi Pratama and the elegibility as a literature teaching material in senior high school. This research aims to describe of local colour in drama script "Aruk Gugat" by Iswadi Pratama and to determine the elegibility as an Indonesian literature teaching material in senior high school. Research method that used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The technique of collecting and data analysis in this research are technique data analysis.The results of this research describe eight Lampung local colour aspect in the drama script, namely language usage (word and expression), mores, behaviour, way of thinking, people artistry, environment, house architecture, and living and equipments live. The local colour aspect run better through by interaction of all figure. By eight local colour aspect in the script, can be seen the description of attitude to life of society which mirror in Piil Pesenggiri. The life philosophy reflection can be seen in behaviour and way of thinking of all figure in drama script. Drama script "Aruk Gugat" by Iswadi Pratama included in drama of realist comedy because in it serves the humorous conduct of all figures that depicted in behaviour, way of thinking, and Ianguage style of all figures.Based on the observation from curriculum, art aspect, and assess the liberal education and character, drama script "Aruk Gugat" by Iswadi Pratama competent to be an Indonesian literature teaching material in senior high school. Keywords: drama script, elegibility, literature teaching material

Abstract

The problem of this research is how is the storyteller’s point of view in the novel of Padang Bulan written by Andrea Hirata. The purpose of this research is to describe the storyteller’s point of view in the novel and its implications upon literature learning in SMA. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The data resources were taken from the novel Padang Bulan written by Andrea Hirata. It is found that the novel makes use of (1) the third person point of view of the omniscient narrator and the observer narrator and (2) the first person point of view of the narrator as the main character. The choice of point of view gives the different effect for readers. Padang Bulan is worthy to be used as a alternative learning material for students in SMA.Masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah sudut pandang pencerita dalam novel Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan sudut pandang pencerita dalam novel dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan (1) sudut pandang persona ketiga narator mahatahu dan narator pengamat, dan (2) sudut pandang persona pertama narator sebagai tokoh utama. Pemilihan sudut pandang memberikan efek yang berbeda-beda bagi pembaca. Novel Padang Bulan layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar siswa di SMA.Kata kunci: efek sudut pandang, implikasi bahan ajar, sudut pandang pencerita.

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the myths in two advertisements of cigarette and to design its learning in Indonesian language as subject at junior high schools. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. Data were obtained from two advertisement of cigarette brand Sampoerna and Djarum that is sung in television year 2016. The results showed that the myth of the Sampoerna Hijau Edition Dorong Rame-Rame is about the togetherness that makes life perfect, while the myth of cigarette advertisement Djarum Coklat Filter Version Goalkeeper is about how to talk well with others. These two advertisements can be used as media in learning Indonesian language of grade VIII odd semester related to KD 3.3 Identifiying ad text, slogan or poster text information from various sources read and heard and KD 4.3 Concluding the content of advertisement, slogan, or posters from various sources.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mitos dalam pariwara rokok dan merancang pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari dua pariwara iklan yang ditanyangkan di televisi tahun 2016. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mitos dari pariwara rokok Sampoerna Hijau Edisi Rame-Rame adalah tentang kebersamaan yang membuat hidup menjadi sempurna, sedangkan mitos dari pariwara rokok Djarum Coklat Filter Versi Goalkeeper adalah tentang bagaimana berbicara baik dengan orang lain. Kedua pariwara ini dapat dijadikan media dalam rancangan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII semester ganjil terkait dengan KD 3.3 Mengidentifikasi informasi teks iklan, slogan, atau poster dari berbagai sumber yang dibaca dan didengar dan KD 4.3 Menyimpulkan isi iklan, slogan, atau poster dari berbagai sumber.Kata kunci : pariwara, mitos, rancangan pembelajaran

Abstract

This research focused on characters in the collection of short stories of Bidadari yang Mengembara by A. S. Laksana and the appropriateness of the short stories as a teaching material at Senior High School. The purposes of this research are to describe the characters in the collection of short stories in Bidadari yang Mengembara by A. S. Laksana based on mechanism of dream of psychoanalysis approach and to found out the appropriateness of the short stories as a teaching material at Senior High School. The research used descriptive qualitative method. The source of this research was the texts of short stories in Bidadari yang Mengembara by A. S. Laksana. The results of the research were the characters in collection of short stories in Bidadari yang Mengembara by A. S. Laksana based on mechanism of dream of psychoanalysis approach and to found out the expedience of the short stories as a teaching material at Senior High School based on linguistic aspects that are used to deliver dream mechanism.Penelitian ini meneliti tokoh dalam kumpulan cerpen Bidadari yang Mengembara karya A. S. Laksana dan kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar di SMA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tokoh yang terdapat pada kumpulan cerpen Bidadari yang Mengembara karya A. S. Laksana berdasarkan pendekatan psikoanalisis mekanisme mimpi dan kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah bagian teks kumpulan cerpen Bidadari yang Mengembara karya A. S. Laksana. Hasil penelitian ini berupa tokoh-tokoh yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen Bidadari yang Mengembara berdasaarkan pendekatan psikoanalisis mekanisme mimpi, dan kelayakan kumpulan cerpen Bidadari yang Mengembara sebagai bahan ajar di SMA berdasarkan aspek bahasa yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan mekanisme mimpi.Kata kunci: aspek bahasa, mekanisme mimpi, tokoh.

Abstract

The research problem here is what are the main messages in the six novels of Habiburrahman El-Shirazy and how he present them. Hence, the aim of the research is to describe those messages and the technique used to present them, as well as their approprinteness to be used as teaching material. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The research result shows that messages in all Habiburrahman El-Shirazy’s novels are served by using implicit technique. All messages in novels by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy tell the issue about love and romance. The messages in Habiburrahman El-Shirazy’s novels are having good expediencies as the alternative teaching material of Indonesian literature in SMA because it fulfills the criteria for selecting literature learning material based on Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP), character education, literature function (dulce et utile), language, psychology, and culture background aspects.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana amanat utama dan teknik penyajian amanat yang terdapat dalam novel-novel karya Habibburahman El-Shirazy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui amanat utama dan teknik penyajian amanat dalam novel-novel Habibburahman El-Shirazy dan menilai kelayakannya sebagai alternatif bahan ajar sastra di Indonesia di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa amanat dalam semua novel karya Habibburahman El-Shirazy disajikan dengan menggunakan teknik tidak langsung (implisit). Semua amanat dalam novel-novel karya Habibburahman El-Shirazy bergerak seputar cinta dan asmara. Amanat yang terkandung dalam novel-novel karya Habiburrahman El-Shirazy layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar sastra Indonesia di SMA ditinjau dari aspek KTSP, pendidikan karakter, fungsi sastra; dulce et utile, aspek bahasa, psikologi, dan latar belakang budaya.Kata kunci: amanat, novel-novel, pembelajaran sastra.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the image of Javanese female characters in the novel Suti by Sapardi Djoko Damono and its implication for Indonesian language learning in Senior High School. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that Suti figures has an image that includes the image of a character as a wife who dared to oppose her husband, as a loving woman, as a submissive woman, as a child who submitted to the decision of parents, and as a responsible worker. Bu Sastro figure has an image that includes the image of a character as a loving wife, as a wife who is responsive to sympathy, as a wife who cares to her husband, and as a wife who respects her husband. Parni figure has an images that includes the image of a stubborn female character. The results of this research were implicated in the Indonesian language learning activity in Senior High School.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan citra tokoh perempuan Jawa dalam novel Suti karya Sapardi Djoko Damono serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Suti memiliki citra yang meliputi citra tokoh sebagai istri yang berani melawan suami, sebagai wanita yang penuh kasih sayang, sebagai wanita yang penurut, sebagai anak yang pasrah terhadap keputusan orang tua, dan sebagai pekerja yang bertanggung jawab. Tokoh Bu Sastro memiliki citra yang meliputi citra tokoh sebagai istri yang penuh kasih sayang, sebagai istri yang tanggap terhadap simpati, sebagai istri yang peduli kepada suami, dan sebagai istri yang menghargai suami. Tokoh Parni memiliki citra yang meliputi citra tokoh sebagai perempuan yang keras kepala. Hasil penelitian diimplikasikan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA.Kata kunci : citra tokoh, implikasi, perempuan jawa

Abstract

The aims of the present research is to describe the theme and message of all short stories in Juragan Haji and its feasibility as an alternative teaching material in eleventh grade of Senior High School. The present research used qualitative descriptive method. The data sources were taken from all the short stories in Juragan Haji. Based on the result of data analysis, it was found (1) physical theme, (2) organic theme, (3) social theme, (4) individual theme, and (5) divinity theme. The message of all the short stories in Juragan Haji conveyed implicitly and explicitly. All the short stories in Juragan Haji written by Helvi Tiana Rosa is feasible to be used as an alternative teaching material for students in eleventh grade of Senior High School in terms of (1) language aspect, (2) psychological aspect, (3) cultural background aspect, dan (4) character building.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tema dan amanat pada kumpulan cerpen Juragan Haji dan kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar sastra di SMA kelas XI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini cerita pendek dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan (1)tema tingkat fisik, (2) tema organik, (3) tema sosial, (4) tema egois, dan (5) tema ketuhanan. Amanat yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen tersebut disampaikan secara implisit dan eksplisit. Kumpulan cerpen Juragan Haji karya Helvy Tiana Rosa layak dijadikan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar siswa di SMA kelas XI ditinjau dari (1) aspek kebahasaan, (2) aspek psikologis, (3) aspek latar belakang kebudayaan, dan (4) pendidikan karakter.Kata kunci: amanat, bahan ajar, cerita pendek, tema.

Abstract

Problem in this research is how each of a short story’s theme depicted in the short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret and its feasibility as teaching material of Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia in senior high school. This research aims to describe the themes that exist in the short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret and to determine its feasibility as teaching material in senior high school. The research method being used is descriptive method. Source of data used is the short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret, totaling 18 titles of short stories, published in 2011, 210 pages thick, and published by Penerbit Buku Kompas. The result of the research showed that deductively themes in the short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret can be categorized into 4 types consisting of (a) theme of divine, (b) social theme, (c) physical themes, (d) organic theme. The short story collection in Dodolitdodolitdodolibret deserve to be used as the alternative teaching material of Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia in senior high school because it fulfill the criteria of character education, Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan  Pendidikan (KTSP), language aspect, psychological aspect, and aspect of cultural background.Key word : theme, feasibility, short story
