Abstract

Project-based learning is essential for fostering creativity and collaboration among students, particularly in an increasingly digital educational landscape. This study investigates the effectiveness of implementing project-based learning using Google Sites in the educational context of the Physics Tadris Study Program at UIN Mataram. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test-post-test control group, the research involved a sample of 44 students selected through cluster random sampling from a population of 110 across eight classes. Data on student creativity and collaboration were collected through validated tests, questionnaires, and observation sheets, with results analyzed using t-tests and normalized gain values (N-gain). The findings revealed a significant enhancement in both creativity and collaboration among students, demonstrating that project-based learning via Google Sites not only improves essential skills but also creates a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience. The implications of this study suggest that integrating technology into project-based learning can effectively advance the goals of Islamic education, preparing students for collaborative and creative engagement in their future professional endeavors.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of web-based project learning on physics students' digital creativity in the Physics Learning Innovation course, with a focus on gender differences. Using a factorial experimental design, the study involved 37 students and two factors: web-based project learning method and gender. Data were collected through a project-based performance assessment rubric that measured students' digital creativity in four aspects: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The data were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA to examine the effects of the learning method, gender, and their interaction on students' digital creativity. The results indicated no statistically significant difference in students' digital creativity between web-based project learning in 2023 and 2024 (p>0.05). These findings suggest a consistent impact of the learning model across different cohorts. In terms of gender, the results revealed no significant difference in digital creativity between male and female students (p>0.05). The interaction between learning method and gender was not significant (p>0.05), indicating that they have independent effects. This research contributes to understanding the effectiveness of web-based learning to enhance digital creativity in physics education, as well as recommends wider application of this method in science and technology courses.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a project-based Science-Physics E-Book to enhance student creativity in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) program at the State Islamic University (UIN) of Mataram. The need for innovative learning resources to improve understanding of science and physics concepts, as well as foster 21st-century skills, particularly creativity, in prospective primary school teachers, forms the basis of this research. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. In the analysis stage, learning needs and student characteristics were assessed through interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis. The design phase included developing an E-Book framework with interactive elements. The content was enriched with multimedia and integrated into a project-based learning approach. Limited and extensive trials were conducted with PGMI UIN Mataram students. Formative and summative evaluations assessed the effectiveness of the e-book in fostering student creativity (p < 0.05). Results indicated that the e-book successfully enhanced creativity, as reflected in higher creativity scores and positive feedback from students and lecturers. The novelty of this research lies in the creation of an interactive, project-based E-Book, a first for PGMI UIN Mataram, contributing to the advancement of digital learning resources for primary school teacher education.

Abstract

This study addresses the pressing need to enhance digital literacy among students, particularly within the framework of project-based learning that incorporates e-books in the science curriculum. The primary aim is to assess the effectiveness of the Project-Based Blended Learning (PBBL) approach in boosting students' digital literacy. A quasi-experimental design was employed, with pre-test and post-test assessments conducted on two student groups. The experimental group engaged in project-based learning using e-books, while the control group followed traditional teaching methods. Data analysis, performed through t-tests, was used to compare the digital literacy improvements between the groups. The findings revealed that students who participated in PBBL with e-books showed a substantial increase in digital literacy compared to those in conventional learning environments. E-books in project-based learning offer greater flexibility, interactivity, and dynamism, significantly fostering the development of digital literacy skills. This research contributes empirical evidence supporting the effectiveness of PBBL in enhancing digital literacy and offers valuable insights for advancing technology-driven teaching approaches in science education.

Abstract

The implementation of character education in formal education environments has an effective influence in overcoming the phenomena of anarchism, imposition of will, student fights, proliferation of drug dealers and users, environmental crises, moral crises, and various other social tendencies. Formal education is an organized, directed, and measurable education system. The 2013 Curriculum orients and emphasizes the Strengthening of moral, affective, and conceptual values of KI-1 (spiritual attitudes), KI-2 (social attitudes), KI-3 (knowledge), and KI-4 (application of knowledge). The implementation of character education in the 2013 Curriculum can be developed by integrating cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. In addition, to encourage and facilitate the realization of Synergy between formal, non-formal and informal education, and encourage to Continue to improve the competence and role models of educators to implement the 2013 Curriculum
