Abstract

Aim to test the impact of project-based learning freestyle swimming on improving students' freestyle swimming ability. This research used the Pre-Experimental designs method with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sampling technique used random sampling on the population of students who were taking swimming courses so that 16 samples were selected. The research location was one of the universities in Makassar City. Data analysis techniques for hypothesis testing used N-Gain Score (%).  Result: The average N Gain Score (%) was 56% in the moderate or quite effective category. This shows that freestyle swimming based on project based learning has proven to be effective significantly in improving students' freestyle swimming abilities.

Abstract

Biodiversitas, singkatan dari biological diversity, merujuk pada keanekaragaman hayati di planet kita, mulai dari tingkat genetik hingga ekosistem. Ini mencakup proses-proses evolusi, ekologi, dan budaya yang menjadi dasar kehidupan. Dengan kata lain, biodiversitas adalah ragam kehidupan yang meliputi tumbuhan, hewan, dan ekosistem di seluruh Dunia. Konservasi biodiversitas merupakan usaha untuk menjaga dan merawat keanekaragaman hayati di bumi kita. Ini mencakup rangkaian langkah yang disusun untuk menjaga agar spesies-spesies tanaman dan hewan serta lingkungan hidup mereka tetap lestari, terhindar dari punah. Fokus utamanya adalah memastikan kelangsungan hidup dan fungsi ekologis dari ragam kehidupan ini bagi generasi mendatang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik penentuan dan pengambilan sasaran informan dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Maksudnya, penentuan sampel informan ditentukan dengan sengaja berdasarkan kriteria masyarakat Kajang Dalam yang bertempat tinggal di dalam Kawasan Adat Ammatoa maupun di luar Kawasan Adat Ammatoa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, serta verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Praktek pengelolaan hutan berbasis pasang di Kajang menjadi fenomena menarik. Pasang mengajarkan untuk menjaga hutan sebagai sumber kehidupan dan penyangga ekosistem, yang tercermin dalam pandangan Ammatoa. Bagi mereka, kerusakan hutan berarti kerusakan bagi kehidupan mereka, sehingga mereka sangat berkomitmen untuk tidak merusak hutan atau mengambil kayunya. Komunitas Ammatoa membagi wilayah mereka menjadi wilayah lindung yang tidak boleh disentuh dan wilayah yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Dampak dari kelestarian tersebut adalah Pepohonan dan vegetasi di hutan dapat bertindak sebagai penyaring alami untuk polusi udara. Peningkatan kesehatan pada masyarakat adat kajang timbul karena Interaksi dengan alam, seperti berjalan-jalan di hutan atau duduk di bawah pohon, dapat menurunkan kadar hormon stres seperti kortisol dalam tubuh. Menyatu dengan alam dapat meningkatkan fungsi sistem kekebalan tubuh, meningkatkan produksi sel-sel pembunuh alami yang membantu melawan infeksi dan penyakit.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of kinesthetic learning styles on the forward roll ability of students at SMP Negeri 1 Tinggi Moncong Malino, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi. The kinesthetic learning style was chosen because it emphasizes active student involvement through direct experience and movement practice, which is believed to improve motor coordination, motor memory, and self-confidence in physical activity. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with a pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of eight eighth-grade students with a predisposition for kinesthetic learning styles. Data were collected through a floor exercise practice test that assessed three main aspects: the preparation stage, movement execution, and final stance. Data analysis used a paired t-test to determine differences in results before and after the implementation of the kinesthetic method. The results showed a significant improvement in students' forward roll ability. The average pre-test score of 7.13 increased to 10.25 in the post-test, with an average difference of 3.125 points. The calculated t-value of -5.693 is greater than the t-table of -2.365 with a significance level of p = 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference. Thus, kinesthetic learning style-based learning has been proven effective in improving students' motor skills, motor coordination, and self-confidence. Therefore, physical education teachers are advised to consistently integrate this method in learning basic motor skills, especially floor gymnastics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gambar terhadap hasil belajar senam lantai forward roll (roll ke depan) mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 Tinggi Moncong Malino Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain pre-test dan post-test. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 8 siswa kelas VIII yang memiliki kecenderungan gaya belajar visual melalui media gambar. Data diperoleh melalui penilaian kemampuan praktik senam lantai pada tiga aspek utama, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan sikap akhir. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test dengan nilai t-hitung = -4.245 > t-tabel = -2.365 dan nilai signifikansi p = 0.004 < 0.05. Rata-rata skor meningkat dari 6.75 menjadi 8.13 dengan selisih 1.375 poin. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media gambar efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan urutan gerakan senam lantai, meskipun tingkat efektivitasnya lebih rendah dibandingkan media audio visual dan gaya belajar kinestetik.

Abstract

Students' physical readiness is a crucial factor in supporting active participation in educational activities and academic activities in general. State Senior High School 12, located on Satangnga Island, Mattiro Baji Village, Tanakeke Islands District, Takalar Regency, faces limited sports facilities and does not yet have a structured physical fitness evaluation system. This community service activity aims to provide assistance in fitness evaluation and motor skill development to improve students' physical readiness. The method used is participatory training and mentoring through initial assessment stages, material delivery, structured practice exercises based on training circuits and motor games, and a final evaluation. The activity participated in the activity amounted to 40 students. The results of the pre-test and post-test analysis showed significant improvements in the components of cardiorespiratory endurance, muscle strength and endurance, agility, and balance (p < 0.05). This program not only improves students' physical condition but also strengthens teachers' capacity to carry out fitness evaluations independently. This activity is recommended as an adaptive and sustainable physical fitness training model for schools in the island region.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan vokal pada guru dan siswa di SMPN 4 Sungguminasa, Kabupaten Gowa. Rendahnya pemahaman tentang teknik vokal yang baik dan benar menjadi latar belakang kegiatan ini, terutama bagi guru yang adalah ujung tombak di masyarakat serta mereka yang aktif dalam kegiatan seni, pendidikan, atau keagamaan. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan vokal yang berlangsung selama dua hari, pada tanggal 24 hingga 25 Mei 2025.  Acara pelatihan tersebut  dibuka langsung oleh Kepala Sekolah dan peserta yang terrlibat dalam kegiatan tersebut adalah para guru serta siswa di lingkungan SMPN 4 Sungguminasa, Kabupaten Gowa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap teknik vokal dasar seperti pernapasan, artikulasi, resonansi, dan ekspresi yang pada akhirnya dipraktekkan pada kegiatan bernyanyi. Kegiatan ini disambut antusias oleh para peserta dan diharapkan menjadi awal dari pembinaan vokal berkelanjutan di daerah tersebut.Kata kunci: Pelatihan vokal, pelatihan, Guru dan Siswa, Gowa, pengabdian

Abstract

Futsal extracurricular activities in secondary schools generally focus on mastering basic techniques, while understanding game strategy has not received optimal attention. This condition has an impact on students' limited ability to read game situations and make appropriate decisions. This Community Service activity aims to improve the understanding of futsal game strategy through video-based analysis training for students of MAN 4 Bone. The implementation method uses a participatory training and mentoring approach that includes the presentation of futsal strategy concepts, match video analysis, group discussions, and simulations of strategy implementation on the field. The activity participated in 30 students who are members of the futsal extracurricular. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of aspects of game formations, offensive and defensive transitions, and game decision-making. In addition, the level of student participation during the activity was high and the quality of the game became more structured. This activity proves that video media is effective as a learning tool for futsal strategy and has the potential to be developed as an innovative and sustainable model for school futsal development.

Abstract

This study aims to map the distribution of Kacaping as a traditional musical instrument of the Bugis people in Sidenreng Rappang (Sidrap) Regency and analyze the socio-cultural relationships that support the sustainability of this musical practice from a socio-musicological perspective. The study uses a qualitative approach with a musical ethnography design. Data were obtained through field observations, in-depth interviews with cultural experts, Kacaping players, and community leaders, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study indicate that Kacaping activities in Sidrap Regency are not evenly distributed, but are concentrated in Tellu Limpoe District, especially Amparita Village, which is currently the center of Kacaping preservation and development. Socio-culturally, Kacaping functions as a symbol of Bugis cultural identity, a medium for transmitting cultural values, and a means of building social relations in the community. The study also found that each player has a different improvisational pattern that forms a personal identity in musical practice. These differences in improvisation indicate that Kacaping is a dynamic cultural practice and continues to undergo a process of cultural construction. Furthermore, Kacaping serves as a cultural arena that brings together performers, cultural figures, craftspeople, and the community in the process of producing meaning, legitimizing culture, and reproducing local knowledge. This finding expands sociomusicological studies by positioning Kacaping not only as a traditional musical instrument, but also as a sociocultural practice that shapes the identity, social relations, and cultural sustainability of the Bugis Sidrap community

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen the digital marketing of local products through the implementation of the LESTARI System as a community-based digital marketing platform. The program was conducted during the odd semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year through a collaborative initiative involving lecturers and students from Universitas Negeri Makassar and Universitas Hasanuddin. The program was implemented in Ajakkang Village, Soppeng Riaja District, Barru Regency, involving the Fish Processing Group (POKLAHSAR) Berkah, local MSME actors, and the village government. The implementation method employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through stages of problem identification, needs analysis, system development, community training and mentoring, system implementation, and program evaluation. The results demonstrated an improvement in community capacity in digital marketing, business management, product branding, and the utilization of social media and marketplaces as promotional media. The implementation of the LESTARI System also encouraged increased community participation, the emergence of local leaders, and greater public awareness regarding the importance of digital transformation and mangrove environmental conservation as part of sustainable economic development. Therefore, the LESTARI System has proven effective as a medium for strengthening the digital marketing of local products while supporting technology-based empowerment of coastal communities. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemasaran digital produk lokal melalui implementasi Sistem LESTARI sebagai platform pemasaran digital berbasis komunitas. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil Tahun Akademik 2025/2026 dengan melibatkan kolaborasi dosen dan mahasiswa dari Universitas Negeri Makassar dan Universitas Hasanuddin. Program dilaksanakan di Desa Ajakkang, Kecamatan Soppeng Riaja, Kabupaten Barru, dengan melibatkan Kelompok Pengolah Hasil Perikanan (POKLAHSAR) Berkah, pelaku UMKM lokal, dan pemerintah desa. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan sistem, pelatihan dan pendampingan masyarakat, implementasi sistem, serta evaluasi program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pemasaran digital, pengelolaan usaha, branding produk, serta pemanfaatan media sosial dan marketplace sebagai sarana promosi. Implementasi Sistem LESTARI juga mendorong peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, tumbuhnya penggerak lokal (local leader), serta meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya transformasi digital dan pelestarian lingkungan mangrove sebagai bagian dari pembangunan ekonomi berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, Sistem LESTARI terbukti efektif sebagai media penguatan pemasaran digital produk lokal sekaligus mendukung pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir berbasis teknologi.
