Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, the presence of smartphones is felt to be very important, especially for students. The presence of a smartphone in the family must be addressed wisely and prudently. Because in essence, a smartphone is a technology that is analogous to a knife with 2 sides. Smartphones can have a positive impact if used in a positive direction and vice versa, they will cut and self-destruct if used in a negative direction. Awareness of the negative impact of smartphone use in early childhood should be a concern for parents because it can reduce the healthy quality and social life of adolescents. Early childhood is the next generation for religion, homeland, and nation which must be formed with the basic provisions of character so that they grow and develop into pious children who are assets for both parents. The target of this PkM activity is to provide counseling to teachers and students of MDTA Al-Mukminun Biaro, Kab. Religion. To find out the level of effectiveness of this PkM activity, an assessment was carried out using the media questionnaire instrument. Based on the processing of the questionnaire, the result was that this PkM activity obtained an average score of 82.71% in the good category. Even though this activity has obtained good results based on the assessment of the MDTA teachers, consistent efforts are needed and an increase in the effectiveness of PkM implementation for the next period. Efforts to increase the effectiveness of PkM implementation are also based on several suggestions and input submitted by MDTA teachers through effectiveness questionnaires.

Abstract

The development of Science and Technology (IPTEK), especially information technology, has had a positive impact on all aspects of human life, including education aspect. The teaching and learning process is the core of the whole educational process. The quality of teaching and learning is determined by the teacher and the students themselves as subjects or actors in the process. Therefore, a teacher is required to always improve skills through learning activities/seminars/training related to their competence field. This Community Service Program (CSP) used mentoring methods in its implementation, while the approaches used were classical and individual approach. This CSP activity has succeeded in providing debriefing and training for teachers to install computer networks using the GNS3 software. The training participants in this CSP were teachers of SMKN 1 Suliki, Lima Puluh Kota Regency and SMKN 1 Ampek Angkek, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. To find out the effectiveness of this CSP activity, a questionnaire was used as an assessment instrument. Based on the tabulation results, it was found that this CSP activity obtained an average value of 82.71% in the good category. Even though this activity has obtained good results from CSP participants, consistent efforts are needed to increase the effectiveness of CSP implementation for the next period. Efforts to increase the effectiveness of CSP implementation are also based on several suggestions and input submitted by CSP participants through an effectiveness questionnaire. The suggestions and input submitted by several participants became evaluation material for the CSP implementation team of the Computer Engineering Study Program, Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic in the future.

Abstract

Stunting is a child's growth disorder due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, which characterized by a z-score value of less than -2.00 SD. Data on stunting toddlers in Payaman Village as of April 2023 are 18 cases. Stunting can be prevented through exclusive breastfeeding, where breast milk has higher levels of calcium and can be absorbed by the body well so that toddlers can avoid the risk of stunting. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting among toddlers in Payaman Village, Mejobo District, Kudus Regency. This type of research is quantitative research with a correlation design with cross sectional approach. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a total sample of 102 toddlers aged 13 – 59 months. The data collection method was carried out by interviews and observation. Data analysis used the Fisher Exact Test and Odds Ratio tests. Results of this study shows a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting in toddlers  with ρ value of 0,049 and OR = 3,267. One of the indirect factors that can influence stunting is the provision of exclusive breastfeeding. It is important to provide exclusive breastfeeding to babies up to the age of six months to maintain health and prevent stunting.

Abstract

Abstract: This research tries to describe student cluster analysis, as an effort to optimize campus promotion to various schools and regions. It is known that every year, Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh, abbreviated as PPNP, brings in students from various regions in Indonesia. Regarding the campus promotion strategy process, the PPNP promotion section has not been based or referred to the results of processing existing student data. So that the budget used by the campus promotion team has not been right on target with the results of students who can be brought to campus. In addition, the existing student database has not been processed or explored further, so that it has not produced knowledge that is very useful as material to support the decisions of the academic and student affairs department and the campus promotion team. The method used in this research is CRISP-DM which stands for Cross- Industry Standard Process for Data Mining. Based on the characteristics of each cluster, the PPNP Promotion Team in conducting the next socialization is advised to prioritize provinces such as West Sumatra and North Sumatra. Currently, managerial circles in this context, university leaders are expected to be able to make data-based decisions. Data-based decision making can foster a culture of sustainable innovation, produce customer-centric offerings and drive long-term business growth.            Keywords: cluster analysis; student data; k-means clustering; campus promotion  Abstrak: Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mendeskripsikan analisis cluster mahasiswa, sebagai upaya optimalisasi dalam melakukan promosi kampus ke berbagai sekolah dan daerah. Diketahui bahwa setiap tahunnya, Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh disingkat PPNP mendatangkan mahasiswa dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Terkait dengan proses strategi promosi kampus, bagian promosi PPNP belum didasarkan pada hasil pengolahan data mahasiswa yang ada. Sehingga anggaran yang digunakan tim promosi belum tepat sasaran dengan hasil mahasiswa yang dapat didatangkan ke kampus. Selain itu database mahasiswa yang ada selama ini belum diolah atau digali secara jauh, sehingga belum menghasilkan pengetahuan yang bermanfaat sebagai bahan untuk mendukung keputusan bagian akademik dan kemahasiswaan serta tim promosi kampus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu CRISP-DM merupakan singkatan dari Cross-Industry Standart Process for Data Mining. Berdasarkan karakteristik setiap cluster, maka untuk Tim Promosi PPNP dalam melakukan sosialisasi berikutnya disarankan memprioritaskan pada provinsi seperti Sumatera Barat dan Sumatera Utara. Saat ini kalangan manajerial yaitu pimpinan perguruan tinggi diharapkan dapat melakukan pengambilan keputusan berbasis pada data. Pengambilan keputusan berbasis data dapat menumbuhkan  budaya  inovasi  yang berkelanjutan, menghasilkan penawaran yang berpusat pada pelanggan dan mendorong pertumbuhan bisnis jangka panjang. Kata kunci: analisis cluster; data mahasiswa; k-means clustering, promosi kampus

Abstract

Abstrak Penggunaan website dewasa ini memiliki perananan yang amat penting dalam menyampaikan informasi bahkan mengalahkan media cetak dengan jangkauan yang terbatas. Website Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh yang selanjutnya disebut dengan PPNP sebagai pada perguruan tinggi negeri yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan vokasi dalam berbagai rumpun ilmu pengetahuan dan/atau teknologi dengan menyiapkan mahasiswa untuk pekerjaan dengan keahlian terapan tertentu yang terletak di Kabupaten Lima puluh Kota, Sumatera Barat. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis dengan metode 8 Golden Rules of Interface Design. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakuakn pengunjung atau user menginginkan agar tata kelola website lebih animatif lagi, update dalam menyajikan informasi terbaru dan berkala menjadi harapan dari users terutama data program studi agar dapat selalu update. Website prodi yang update dapat menjadi salah sarana promosi dan pengenalan program studi bagi pihak luar atau masyarakat sekitar maupun di berbagai wilayah. Grafik tertinggi terdapat pada harapan user agar perbaikan tampilan yang lebih responsif dan mudah dipahami. Abstract The use of websites today has a very important role in conveying information, even beating print media with its limited reach. Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic website, hereinafter referred to as PPNP, is a state university that provides vocational education in various fields of science and/or technology by preparing students for jobs with certain applied skills located in Limapuluh Kota Regency, West Sumatra. In this research, analysis was carried out using the 8 Golden Rules of Interface Design method. Based on research that has been carried out, visitors or users want website management to be more animated, updates in presenting the latest and regular information are the hope of users, especially study program data, so that it can always be updated. An updated study program website can be a means of promotion and introduction of study programs to outside parties or local communities and in various regions. The highest graphics are in user expectations for improved displays that are more responsive and easy to understand.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAn electronic teacher is an alternative form that teachers and students can use to conduct online learning. The focus of this research is to build a valid, practical, and effective research product in the form of an e-teacher application that can be used to digitize learning in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic in SMKN 1 Ampek Angkek. This research uses research and development (RnD) methods. System development in this research refers to the waterfall model with five stages: requirements definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration and system testing, operation and maintenance. Furthermore, the product is tested with three types of product testing: validity, practicability, and effectiveness. The research results from the design of an e-teacher application to assist teachers and students in the learning process in the form of a website where teachers can add learning materials, learning tools, and exam questions. Students can also use the internet to access learning materials and take tests. The results of the validity test on 5 experts were 0.79, which was declared valid; the practicality test on 4 practitioners was 93, which was declared very practical; and the effectiveness test on 8 students was 0.79, which was declared effective. Based on the product test results, it is possible to conclude that the product of this research is worth to use in the learning process by teachers and students.Tujuan perancangan aplikasi e-guru ini adalah untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran apabila tidak bertatap muka langsuang agar pembelajaran dapat berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Reseacrh and Development) versi ADDIE (Analyze-Design-Develop- Impelentation-Evaluation). Model pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan sistem Waterfall dengan lima tahap, yaitu Definisi persyaratan, Perancangan sistem dan perangkat lunak, Implentasi dan pengujian unit, Integrasi dan pengujian sistem, Operasi dan pemeliharaan. Uji produk yang digunakan adalah Uji Validitas, Uji Praktikalitas, dan Uji Efektifitas. Hasil penelitian dari perancangan aplikasi e-guru untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran yang berupa website yang mana guru dapat menambahkan materi pembelajaran, perangkat pembelajaran dan soal-soal pembelajaran. Sedangkan siswa dapat mengakses materi pembelajaran dan mengerjakan soal-soal secara online. Sedangkan, uji validitas yang terdiri dari 5 orang ahli diperoleh nilai0,79 dinyatakan valid (berdasarkan perhitungan validitas dengan formula aiken’s), uji praktikalitas yang terdiri dari 4 orang praktisi di peroleh nilai 93 yang dinyatakan sangat praktis dan untuk uji efektifitas yang terdiri dari 8 orang siswa di peroleh nilai 0,79 yang dinyatakan efektif.

Abstract

Pertanian hidroponik adalah salah satu metode modern dalam budidaya yang semakin populer. Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi, dan pengelolaan sumber daya dalam pertanian hidroponik, saat ini sudah bisa menggunakan kemajuan teknologi, contohnya penggunaan Internet Of Things (IoT). Teknologi IoT telah diterapkan dalam berbagai aspek pertanian hidroponik, termasuk pemantauan nutrisi tanaman, pengelolaan air, iklim, dan pengendalian hama. Sensor IoT memungkinkan petani untuk memantau tingkat nutrisi dalam larutan nutrisi secara real-time. Ini membantu dalam mengoptimalkan pemupukan tanaman, mengurangi limbah nutrisi, dan memastikan tanaman menerima nutrisi yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan yang maksimal. Pengelolaan air adalah faktor kunci dalam hidroponik. Dalam pengendalian iklim, penggunaan IoT memungkinkan petani untuk mengawasi dan mengontrol suhu, kelembaban, dan cahaya di lingkungan pertanian secara otomatis. Ini memberikan tanaman kondisi yang optimal sepanjang waktu, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan hasil dan kualitas panen. Secara keseluruhan, penggunaan teknologi IoT pada petani hidroponik di lingkungan Dinas Tanaman Pangan Hortikultura dan Perkebunan Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota ini dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi, dan keberlanjutan.
