Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to analyze student learning activities, constraints faced by teachers and efforts made by teachers in developing student learning activities in learning Geography of material conditions and Indonesia's strategic position as the world's maritime axis. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS. Sampling using Purposive Sampling technique with selected sample results are class XI IPS 3 and class XI IPS 4. The results of this study indicate that learning activities in class XI IPS 3 and XI IPS 4 SMAN 1 Batang Anai material on regional conditions and Indonesia's strategic position as the axis world maritime is still categorized as MOTS (Middle Order Thinking Skill). Based on the research results obtained 23% - 35.3% of students in class XI IPS 3 and 24% - 33% of students in class XI IPS 4 who carry out basic learning activities (ABD) as a whole with enthusiasm and consistency, and there are 9% - 35% of class XI IPS 3 students and 3% -30% of class XI IPS 4 who carry out advanced learning activities (ABL) as a whole are enthusiastic and consistent.

Abstract

This research is purpose to knowing the effectiveness of ultilization Edmodo in Geography learning to basic knowledge material mapping of class X IPS SMAN 7 Padang that was reviewed from the interest student of learning process, the involvement student of learning process and the result of learning process.The kind of this research was used the quasi experimental design. The technic of data analysis 1) The descriptive analysis percentages was used to analyzed the interest and involvement of learning student, 2) The inferential statistical analysis was used to analyzed the result of learning student. The result of this reseach was indicate that : 1) The interest of student class X IPS SMA Negeri 7 Padang in learning geography in used Edmodo media reside in the high category with a percentage of 78%. 2) The involvement of student in geography learning in used Edmodo reside in the high category with a percentage 70,80%, whereas the involment of student in geography learning that use the conventional media reside in the low cegory with a percentage 62,28%. There are differences result in learning process of the student with the experimental class outcomes of the experimental class with the control class with the average acquisition of experimental class learning outcomes of 81.78 while the control class of 72.11. This is supported by testing the hypothesis by acquisition thitung> ttabel yaitu 4,789 > 2,000 dan Sig. < Sig.α (0,000 < 0,05), then Ho was rejected and Ha was received. 4) The ultilization of Edmodo was enough effective to increas the result of student learning in basic knowledge material mapping class X IPS at SMA 7 Padang with the result of N-Gain as big as 58,84%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengelolaan sampah di Pasar Sungai Tanduk ditinjau dari aspek perencanaan (Planning). Menganalisis pengelolaan sampah di Pasar Sungai Tanduk ditinjau dari aspek pengorganisian (Organizing). Menganalisis pengelolaan sampah di Pasar Sungai Tanduk ditinjau dari aspek pelaksanaan (Actuating). Menganalisis pengelolaan sampah di Pasar Sungai Tanduk ditinjau dari aspek pengawasan (Controlling). Jenis penelitiaan ini kualitatif. Teknik analisis menggunakan persentase dikumpulkan melalui teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan kuisioner. Subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu orang yang terlibat terkait dengan pengelolaan sampah. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Aspek perencanaan bahwa dinas kebersihan menyediakan dua kontainer sampah dan tempat sampah di kios-kios pedagang. 2) Aspek pengorganisasian yaitu kurangnya anggota dalam melakukan pengelolan sampah. 3) Aspek pelaksanaan dimana melakukan cara-cara pengelolaan yaitu seperti hog feeding, sanitary landfill, dumping, dumping in water, landfill, individual incineration, pemanfaatan kembali, reduction, salvaging, komposting, insinerasi (pembakaran). 4) Aspek pengawasan dalam pengelolaan sampah di pasar Sungai Tanduk dan pengawasannya dalam bentuk memonitoring pegawai ke lapangan secara langsung. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the Analysis of Socio-Economic Conditions of Boiled Corn Traders in Lubuk Alung District. This type of research is quantitative descriptive using primary data as a source of data obtained through interviews, informants in this study were 33 boiled corn traders who were taken in total sampling. Data were analyzed using a percentage formula. The results of this study found that in terms of marriage, the majority of stewed corn traders were married. In terms of education, most of the boiled corn traders have a history of high school education, as many as 19 traders with a percentage of 58%. The economic condition of boiled corn traders, in terms of production costs most of the boiled corn traders have production costs ranging from 2-3 million to 18 the number of traders with a percentage of 55. In terms of income most boiled corn traders have an income of 4-6 million ie as many people traders with a percentage of 46. In terms of profit, the profits obtained by most of the boiled corn traders ranged from 2-3 million, as many as 12 traders with a percentage of 37. In terms of expenditure, most of the education costs ranged from 1-2 million as many as 22 people 67% of traders, and for the cost of daily necessities most of the expenditure of boiled corn traders ranged between Rp. 500,000 - 1,000,000 as many as 15 traders. In terms of the number of dependents, most of the boiled corn traders have dependents 1-2 and 3-4, each with 13 people with a percentage of 43% Keywords: social conditions,economic conditions,boiled corn traders

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Produce video media and collaborative short film learning resources on natural disaster mitigation material for XI IPS 3 at the SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang, 2) Know the feasibility of video media and collaborative short film learning resources on natural disaster mitigation materials for students of class XI IPS 3 SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang. The design of this research is research and development (Research and Development). The research subjects were 25 students of class XI IPS 3 and the object of research was the media and learning resource of collaborative short films on natural disaster mitigation material for students of class XI IPS 3 at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium. The product development model used is Borg and Gall with simplified steps, namely: 1) Planning: material analysis and RPP analysis, 2) Product Draft Development: Pre-production, Production, and Post-Production, 3) Expert validation: by expert media and material experts, 4) Feasibility Test: by media experts, materials and students. Data collection methods by observation, questionnaire and documentation. The feasibility assessment involved media experts, material experts and students of class XI IPS 3 at the SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that: 1) Video media and learning resources are produced in the form of collaborative short films on natural disaster mitigation materials that are in accordance with the material and lesson plans used at the SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang, 2) Test results the feasibility of material experts in the feasible category with a relative frequency of 100% and, media experts in the feasible category with a relative frequency of 80% so that this media is worthy of being tested on students. From the results of trials on 25 students of class XI IPS 3 the results were 91.7% classified in the category of very feasible, thus stating the media and learning resources of short films on natural disaster mitigation materials are appropriate to be used as media and learning resources for students of class XI IPS 3 in SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis data profil guru geografi SMA di Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang meliputi, 1) identitas umum guru, 2) pengembangan diri guru, 3) publikasi ilmiah 4) karya inovatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskritif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 48 orang guru geografi di kabupaten padang pariaman, pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan metode total sampling, yaitu menggunakan seluruh total populasi sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner atau angket yang diberikan kepada semua guru geografi . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan 1) Kondisi identitas umum guru yang terdiri dari pangkat/golongan mayoritas yaitu IVA (44,11%), pendidikan terakhir mayoritas S1 (93,7%), perguruan tinggi mayoritas UNP (54,16%), Lama mengajar mayoritas yaitu 31-35 tahun (27,08%), status kepegawaian mayoritas PNS (70,83%), tahun sertifikasi mayoritas yaitu tahun 2008 (26,66%). 2) Pengembangan diri guru yang terdiri dari pendidikan pasca sertifikasi dengan persentase (13,33%), pelatihan yang diikuti selama tahun 2013 – 2018 dengan persentase (33,33%), kegiatan seminar sebagai narasumber dengan persentase (4,16%), kegiatan lokakarya dengan persentase (12,5%). 3) Publikasi ilmiah guru berdasarkan hasil laporan penelitian dibidang pendidikan (7%), berdasarkan tulisan ilmiah (0%), dan berdasarkan publikasi buku teks (2%). 4) Karya inovatif guru geografi SMA di kabupaten padang pariaman dengan persentase yaitu 4%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja guru Geografi SMA di Kabupaten Solok Selatan ditinjau dari publikasi ilmiah, karya inovatif, dan pengembangan diri guru dalam 5 tahun terakhir. Penelitian berikut menggunakan jenis penelitian deskritif melalui pendekatan kuantitatif, sampel untuk penelitian ini terdiri dari 21 orang guru Geografi di Kabupaten Solok Selatan, pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling, yaitu dimana sampel penelitian menggunakan seluruh total populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner atau angket yaitu berbentuk beberapa daftar pertanyaan yang diberikan untuk semua guru Geografi SMA di Kabupaten Solok Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan ini disimpulkan 1) kinerja guru Geografi SMA di Kabupaten Solok Selatan di tinjau melalui publikasi ilmiah dalam 5 tahun terakhir dimana berdasarkan laporan hasil karya tulis dalam bidang pendidikan dan Tulisan ilmiah populer dalam bidang pendidikan formal dan pembelajaran dalam kategori kurang baik dengan persentase 0% dan publikasi buku teks pelajaran dan modul dalam kategori kurang baik dengan persentase 4,7%. 2) kinerja guru Geografi SMA di Kabupaten Solok Selatan di tinjau dari karya inovatif dalam 5 tahun terakhir berdasarkan Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran, Pengembangan Seni dalam Pembelajaran, dan Pengembangan Metode Pembelajaran dalam kategori kurang baik dengan persentase 9,5%. 3) kinerja guru Geografi SMA di Kabupaten Solok Selatan di tinjau dari pengembangan diri dalam 5 tahun terakhir dalam kategori kurang baik berdasarkan pengembangan pasca sertifikasi persentase sebesar 9,5%, pelatihan yang diikuti memiliki persentase sebesar 19%, berdasarkan kegiatan Narasumber/ Pembicara/ Instruktur memiliki persentase sebesar 4,7%, dan berdasarkan kegiatan Lokakarya memiliki persentase sebesar 19%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of high order thinking skill (HOTS) of geography learning tools that consists of: learning implementation plan (RPP), students’ worksheet (LKPD) and daily tests (UH). This research belongs to descriptive research by using quantitative approach and using document as objecks of study. The data of this research derived from learning implementation plan (RPP), students’ worksheet (LKPD) and daily tests (UH). The data were collected by using document analysis technique, percentage and descriptive technique. The results of this study indicate that development of High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) in geography learning in terms of learning implementation plan (RPP) has reached 100% based on the indicators including learning methods, learning steps, and learning assessments. Furthermore, based on the students’ worksheet (LKPD), the developmentof High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) has reached 100% which is indicated by the level of questions. Next, in terms of the learningoutcomes test in the form ofdaily tests (UH), the development of High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) has only reached 56% which is indicated by the number of questions at the C4 (analyzing), C5(evaluating), C6 (Creating) levels. Therefore, it is hoped that the teacher will consider the distribution of cognitivelevels of questions so that the development of High Orderhinking Skill(HOTS) can be implemented in geography learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan HOTS dalam RPP guru Geografi yang terdiri dari beberapa komponen diantaranya pada tujuan pembelajaran, indikator pencapaian kompetensi, metode pembelajaran, langkah pembelajaran dan penilaian pembelajaran pada kelas X KD 3.1. dan KD 3.6. SMA Negeri kota Sawahlunto. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh RPP guru Geografi yang ada di SMA Negeri Sawahlunto. Sampel yaitu RPP guru Geografi yang mengajar pada kelas X. Sumber data yaitu dokumen RPP guru Geografi. Jenis Penelitian Kuantitatif dengan Analisis Konten. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan Persentase. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa HOTS telah diterapkan kedalam Komponen Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran di ketiga sekolah tersebut. Untuk rata-rata persentase HOTS dalam komponen Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 sebesar 90%. SMA Negeri 2 dengan rata-rata Persentase sebesar 50%. Pada SMA Negeri 3 rata-rata Persentase HOTS sebesar 50%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of technological literacy in geography learning at SMA Negeri 15 Padang as seen from the indicators of technological literacy skills, namely content, process, context, and attitudes. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The population of this study were students of class X majoring in social studies and MIA at SMA Negeri 15 Padang, totaling 252 students. The technique used in this sampling was simple random sampling, the sample was taken randomly, totaling 72 students. The data source of this research is primary data, namely data obtained from class X students and secondary data, namely data obtained from Administration of SMA Negeri 15 Padang. The research instrument was a questionnaire and the data were processed using a percentage formula. The results showed that the implementation of technological literacy in geography learning at SMA Negeri 15 Padang is in a good category with a score range of 113.6-138.6 and the number of students answered at a percentage of 65%, with details: (1) The content indicator is at good category with a value range of 21.4-25.2 with the number of students answering at a percentage of 68.1%. (2) The process indicator is in the good category with a score range of 28.2-33.6 with the number of students answering at a percentage of 54.2%. (3) The context indicator is in a fairly good category with a score of 14-17 with the number of students answering at a percentage of 51.4%. (4) The attitude indicator is in the good category with a score of 48.6-58.8 with the number of students answering at a percentage of 62.5%.
