Abstract

Sistem Penunjang Keputusan dengan simulasi dapat menjadi efektif dengan pemanfaatan Visual Interactive Simulation (VIS). Melalui VIS pengambil keputusan mengontrol sepenuhnya jalannya simulasi dengan penentuan skenario dan modifikasi parameter simulasinya.  Pembangunan sistem dengan VIS dilakukan dengan metodologi gaia untuk memodelkan sistem agen. Melalui gaia, dihasilkan lima model utama sebagai dasar pembentukan arsitektur sistem, yaitu model interaksi, model role, model service, model acquitance dan model agen. Pendefinisian arsitktur sistem yang lebih konkret dilakukan melalui Agent Unified Modelling Languagae (AUML)

Abstract

Abstract— In recent years, the occurrence of protein shortage of children under 5 years old in many poor area has dramatically increased. Since this situation can cause serious problem to children like a delay in their growth, delay in their development and also disfigurement, disability, dependency, the early diagnose of protein shortage is vital. Many applications have been developed in performing disease detection such as an expert system for diagnosing diabetics and artificial neural network (ANN) applications for diagnosing breast cancer, acidosis diseases, and lung cancer. This paper is mainly focusing on the development of protein shortage disease diagnosing application using Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) technique. It covers two classes of protein shortage that are Heavy Protein Deficiency. On top of this, a BPNN model is constructed based on result analysis of the training and testing from the developed application. The model has been successfully tested using new data set. It shows that the BPNN is able to early diagnose heavy protein deficiency accurately. Keywords— Artificial Neural Network, Backpropagation Neural Network, Protein Deficiency.

Abstract

The research objectives were to analyze reproduction performance and productivity of swamp buffalofrom different altitudes in Cianjur and draw up a hierarchy of productivity strategy development usinganalysis of SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP)with four criteria: technology, costs, impact, and the response of farmers. Survey was conducted in Cianjurduring January-March 2014 by interview prepared questionnaires and direct observation of 63 buffalo farmers. Secondary data were also obtained from relevant agencies. Primary data were collected usingdirect observation of 139 reproductive female buffaloes then were further analyzed. A total of 58 buffaloesat their productive period were sampled and taken their morphometric data. Whilst 37 buffaloes weremeasured their frame size using Body Condition Score (BCS). The results showed that the reproductionperformance of buffaloes in the lowlands are not significantly different from those in the highland. The ageat first oestrus, first mating, first calving, gestation period were 25.6 months, 26.6 months, 38.7 months,11.8 months, respectively.. The oestrus period was 5.3 days, and post-partum mating interval was 54.6days. Differences in altitude and sex significantly affected (P <0.05) the morphometry assessment. Thebody weight of male buffaloes were found lower than the females both in highlands and lowlands (P<0.05).The body conditioning score of buffalo performance at highland was better compared to those in thelowland. Based on the SWOT analysis and AHP: (1) The main strategy is to improve the technology basedon the criteria of internal weakness by increasing scale holdings to seize opportunities buffalo meat selfsufficiency;(2) based on the criteria of cost and impact, the strategy was to cover threats over the professionout of the region by empowering farmers (facilitate increased productivity buffalo); (3) based on the responsecriteria, the primary strategy is to improve the quality of education of farmers by facilitating productivityimprovement opportunities to achieve self-sufficiency buffalo meat. The main development strategy basedon the four criteria: technology, cost, impact, and farmer response were increasing of buffalo ownershipscale, production facilities, and farmers education quality.

Abstract

A hybrid model of Probabilistic Neural Network and Fuzzy C-Means has been developed. The model has been applied using Mel Frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCC) as feature extraction for identification. In addition to the natural voice, the effect of noise has also been taken into account. It has been shown that the model has good accuracy at 96% for voice without noise, 85.5% for voice with noise at the level of signal to noise ratio 30, and 60% for voice with noise at the level of signal to noise ratio 20. It has also been concluded that the clustering procedure using Fuzzy C-Means could improve the accuracy up to 96% for large number of training data.

Abstract

Identifikasi jenis kayu di Indonesia pada umumnya dilakukan secara manual, dengan cara memperhatikan pori kayu pada daerah penampang kayu menggunakan kaca pembesar atau mikroskop dengan pembesaran minimal 10 kali. Teknik komputerisasi belum banyak dilakukan terutama karena kurangnya penelitian di bidang ini dan sulitnya mendapatkan database kayu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sebuah sistem untuk mengklasifikasikan 4 jenis kayu yang diperdagangkan di Indonesia dengan metode support vector machine (SVM) berbasis citra. Teknik ekstraksi ciri yang digunakan adalah two-dimensional principal component analysis (2D-PCA). Sistem ini dapat mengidentifikasi kayu dalam waktu singkat sehingga mempercepat proses identifikasi jenis kayu. Hasil klasifikasi dari 120 kali percobaan dengan menggunakan 96 data citra dengan 4 jenis kayu menunjukkan akurasi terbaik sebesar 95.83% pada kernel Polinomial. Abstract

On this research, the protocol and simulation of e-voting system were designed for the local election. The functions on this system were tailored to the e-voting scheme which must meet several criterias: Eligibility, Unreusability, Anonymity, Accuracy, Fairness, Vote and Go, and Public Verifiability. The protocol which was made in this research was a system for voter registration, validation and activation voters, the election system, and the election calculation system. To maintain the security of data, the e-voting system used public key algorithm and symmetric key algorithm. The result of this research was a web-based e-voting system which runs on the computer network that meets the criteria of e-voting scheme. Abstract

ABSTRACT Center for Technology Service (Pusyantek) in Agency for The Assesment and Application of Technology (BPPT) has two kinds of employee, there are civil and non-civil servants. The civil servants already have the official website for attendance system, but the non-civil servants don’t have the official website. The presence process for employee has engaged by the fingerprint machine, but still need help from Microsoft Excel. Administrator creates a recapitulation constantly for a period. This process can cause an inacurate data, inefficient time management, and others. Employees also hard to check the presence’s datas and complete the absences. With such problems, administrator needs attendance system that can help administrator and non-civil servants. The system was built by incremental method because the client already know requirements that the system necessary. Incremental method consist of five steps, those are communication, planning, modelling, construction, and deployment. System building involved two users, admin and employee. The system building engage by two iteration, which is first increment with 22 functions and second increment with 28 functions. System building successfully implemented attendance data management feature, attendance feature, filling permit’s data feature, and filling leave’s data feature. ABSTRAK Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT) khususnya di Pusat Pelayanan Teknologi (Pusyantek) memiliki tenaga kerja yang terdiri atas pegawai PNS dan non-PNS. Pegawai PNS sudah memiliki web resmi untuk sistem kehadiran, namun pegawai non-PNS belum memiliki. Proses kehadiran sudah dilakukan dengan mesin fingerprint, namun pengolahannya masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Microsoft Excel. Pengolah melakukan pengolahan untuk menghasilkan rekap secara berkala per periodenya. Hal tersebut bisa menyebabkan data yang tidak akurat, pemanfaatan waktu yang tidak efisien, dan lain-lain. Pegawai pun sulit untuk melihat data kehadiran dan melengkapi data ketidakhadiran. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, pengolah mengharapkan adanya sistem kehadiran berbasis web yang memudahkan pengolah dan pegawai non-PNS Pusyantek. Sistem dibuat dengan menerapkan alur kerja yang terstruktur dari metode pengembangan incremental. Metode tersebut digunakan karena klien sudah mengetahui kebutuhan apa saja yang diperlukan. Metode incremental terdiri atas lima tahapan, yaitu komunikasi, perencanaan, pemodelan, pembuatan, serta penyebaran dan umpan balik. Pembuatan sistem melibatkan dua user, yaitu admin dan pegawai. Pembuatan sistem menghasilkan dua kali iterasi yaitu increment pertama dengan 22 fungsi dan increment kedua dengan 28 fungsi. Pembuatan sistem berhasil mengimplementasikan fitur pengelolaan data kehadiran, fitur kehadiran, fitur kelengkapan data pengajuan izin, dan fitur kelengkapan data pengajuan cuti.

Abstract

El Nino-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) can reduce the amount of rainfall in Indonesia. The previous study found that ENSO and IOD derived from the OISST dataset have an association with hotspots in Indonesia, especially in southern Sumatra dan Kalimantan. But the correlation results are still too small, and the correlation strength between regions has not been analyzed. Therefore, this study quantifies the association of the estimated ENSO and IOD derived from the ERA5 dataset on hotspots in Indonesia based on a Heterogeneous Correlation Map (HCM) and analyzes the correlation strength between regions in Indonesia. We use a singular value decomposition method to quantify this HCM. Besides OISST, ERA5 is an estimation data often used for weather forecast analysis. Therefore, this study quantifies the association of the estimated ENSO and IOD derived from the ERA5 dataset on hotspots in Indonesia based on a Heterogeneous Correlation Map (HCM) and analyzes the correlation strength between regions in Indonesia. Based on variance explained and correlation strength, the hotspot in Indonesia is more sensitive to ENSO and IOD derived from ERA5 than OISST. Consequently, the ERA5 data more useful to statistical analysis that requiring a substantial correlation.

Abstract

The IOD can be measured using the Dipole Mode Index (DMI) which is calculated based on the sea surface temperature in the Indian Ocean. Therefore, DMI can be predicted using sea surface temperature forecasting data, such as data provided by the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). However, the data still has a bias as compared to the actual data, so to get a more accurate prediction, corrected data is needed. Therefore, the aim of this study is to predict DMI based on sea surface temperature forecasting data that has been corrected for bias using the quantile mapping method, a method that connects the distribution of forecasting and actual data. The results showed that the DMI prediction using corrected data was more accurate than the DMI prediction using ECMWF data. DMI predictions using corrected data have high accuracy to predict IOD events in October-April.

Abstract

AbstractCopula model is a method that can be implemented in various study fields, including analyzing wildfires. The copula distribution function gives a simple way to define joint distribution between two or more random variables. This study aims to review the application of copula in the analysis of wildfires using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and provide insight into research opportunities related to the application in Indonesia. The results show there are very few articles using the copula model in the analysis of wildfires. However, the increasing number of article citations each year shows the importance of such article research and has contributed to wildfire analysis development. In that article, 50% of studies applied the copula model to direct wildfire analysis (using fire data) in Canada, Portugal, and the US. Meanwhile, the other 50% use the copula model for indirect wildfire analysis (not using fire data) in Canada and the European region. The outcome of the presented review will provide the latest research positions and future research opportunities on the application of copula in the analysis of wildfires in Indonesia.Keywords: copula; wildfire; systematic literature review. AbstrakModel copula merupakan metode yang dapat diimplementasikan pada berbagai bidang penelitian, salah satunya pada analisis kebakaran hutan. Fungsi sebaran copula memberikan cara yang mudah untuk mendefinisikan sebaran peluang bersama antara dua peubah acak atau lebih. Tujuan penelitian ini mengulas penerapan model copula tersebut pada analisis kebakaran hutan dalam studi literatur menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) serta memberikan peluang riset ke depan terkait implementasinya pada analisis kebakaran hutan di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model copula pada analisis kebakaran hutan masih sangat sedikit. Namun, peningkatan jumlah sitasi artikel tiap tahun menunjukkan pentingnya penelitian tersebut dan memiliki kontribusi pada perkembangan analisis kebakaran hutan. Pada artikel tersebut, sebanyak 50% penelitian menerapkan model copula pada analisis kebakaran secara langsung (menggunakan data kebakaran) di Kanada, Portugal, dan Amerika. Sementara, sebanyak 50% lainnya menerapkan model copula pada analisis kebakaran secara tak langsung (tidak menggunakan data kebakaran), yaitu di Kanada dan kawasan Eropa. Hasil tinjauan memberikan posisi riset terkini serta usulan riset ke depan mengenai penerapan model copula untuk analisis kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Indonesia.Kata kunci: copula; kebakaran hutan; studi literatur sistematik.
