Abstract

This study aims to design student worksheets on integer material using the context of Musi Rawas tourism. The designed worksheets are expected to provide students with a more engaging and relevant learning experience by incorporating real-life examples and problems related to the local tourism industry. This study uses a design research method with validation studies, including preliminary design and the design experiment (pilot experiment). The results of this study show that the designed worksheets effectively integrate integer concepts with the context of Musi Rawas tourism, making the learning experience more meaningful and enjoyable for students. The study concludes that contextualised learning materials, such as these worksheets, can significantly enhance students' understanding and retention of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Teachers must use appropriate learning models, if the learning models used are not appropriate, students will experience difficulties in learning and this will result in low student learning outcomes. Researchers aim to determine trends in the application of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model in mathematics learning. The method used by researchers is Systematic Literature Review. Researchers used articles consisting of 12 inclusion articles and 10 exclusion articles for a total of 22 articles.  Based on the results of the researcher's review of the article (Agustina, 2021), the increase in student learning outcomes occurred because there were interaction activities between teachers and students which were implemented through the Think Pair Share type cooperative model. According to (Izzah & Qohar, 2020) the application of the Think Pair Share type cooperative model can improve understanding of algebra concepts, according to (Hartini, Maharani & Rahman, 2016) The application of the Think-Pair-Share Learning Model can improve Mathematical Communication Skills, so researchers can conclude that Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model in mathematics learning can solve various problems such as improving student learning outcomes, increasing learning achievement, can improve concept understanding abilities, improve mathematical problem solving abilities, improve communication skills students' mathematics and critical thinking.

Abstract

In this era, many children are actively playing online games, and teachers can use this as an aid in learning mathematics. Mathematics learning often uses context in everyday life through a real approach. This approach is known as Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI), where learning is carried out in a real-world context. A study was conducted to evaluate the use of PMRI-based word-wall educational games as a mathematics learning tool to increase students' understanding and interest in learning. The research method used was a Systematic Literature Review, which collected data from 2015 to 2024 by analyzing 29 articles from Google Scholar. The research results show that the use of PMRI-based Word-wall educational games can improve students' learning outcomes, motivation, understanding and interest in learning

Abstract

Fraction learning has gained significant attention in mathematics education research, with a growing body of literature addressing the instructional challenges inherent in teaching fractions effectively. Establishing a solid conceptual foundation in fractions is critical to fostering broader mathematical proficiency, yet many students continue to struggle with core fractional concepts. This study addresses these issues by integrating a real-world context—Musi Rawas tourism—into fraction instruction, targeting pre-service elementary teachers enrolled in an elementary mathematics education program. Adopting a design research methodology, specifically a validation study, the study progresses through three structured phases: preliminary design, design experiments (encompassing pilot and teaching experiments), and retrospective analysis. Data collection involved teaching materials, observational checklists, and documentation to capture the instructional dynamics and learning outcomes. The study’s primary contribution is a localized instructional theory for teaching fractions within a tourism context, organized across five progressive learning activities: problem identification in the Gegas Water Lake tourism setting, contextual model development, model-based problem-solving, context-specific solution formulation, and abstraction of mathematical conclusions. This framework offers an innovative pedagogical approach, illustrating the potential for enhancing fraction learning through contextualized instruction in tourism, with detailed insights into the methodology and outcomes presented in the full study.

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' cognitive processes in understanding fractions through a tourist context. This research method is design research. The data collection technique is through tests and in-depth interviews. The results of this research show that student's cognitive process in understanding fractions through a tourism context is that students first understand the problems in the tourism context of Lake Air Gegas; then students create mathematical models based on context; third, students complete mathematical models based on context; the fourth student creates a solution to the context problem; Finally, students make mathematical conclusions. Through the tourism context, students can solve problems appropriately. The conclusion is that there are five stages of students' cognitive process in discovering the principle of multiplication of fractions, namely students understand the problem through a tourism context, create a mathematical model based on context, complete a mathematical model based on context, create a context problem solution, and end by making mathematical conclusions about the principle of Multiplication of Fractions. Therefore, it is recommended that mathematics teachers use the tourism context as a starting point for mathematics learning.

Abstract

Mathematics is a fundamental science that plays an important role in everyday life. However, students' learning outcomes in this subject are still relatively low because the learning process is still dominated by conventional methods, which tend to make students feel bored and less interested. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to implement a more active learning model, in which students take on the primary role in the learning process, while the teacher acts as a facilitator. This study aims to determine the mastery of mathematics learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMPN 8 Lubuklinggau after participating in the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share (TPS). The population consists of all seventh-grade students at SMPN 8 Lubuklinggau in the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 224 students, with a sample of 32 students from class VII F. Data collection was conducted using a test technique in the form of four essay questions. The results of the t-test analysis showed that = 2,5 dan = 1,6955 (> ). Thus, it can be concluded that the average mathematics learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMPN 8 Lubuklinggau after participating in the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model are significantly complete. The students' average score was 72, with a mastery level reaching 78%..

Abstract

The training of learning media using the context of local tourism for mathematics teachers was carried out with the aim of improving the ability of teachers in compiling learning media using the context of local tourism that is familiar to students so that it can facilitate the learning process in the classroom, in addition, with this activity a teacher can have more experience in designing or planning a learning media that is in accordance with the student's residential environment, furthermore through this activity can provide a more meaningful mathematics learning experience to students, where mathematics is really linked to things that students often encounter. The methods used in this activity are discussion, lecture and demonstration, the results of data analysis in the form of a response questionnaire. Based on the results of the calculation of the response questionnaire to the training, a percentage score of 92.625% was obtained

Abstract

This research is based on the low social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Muara Megang. The purpose of this study is to determine the completeness of Social Science learning outcomes after the application of the Snowball Throwing model for Grade IV Students of SD Negeri Muara Megang. The research method used is quantitative, in the form of a pseudo-experiment with a pretest-postest one group design. The population is all fourth grade students of SD Negeri Muara Megang and at the same time is a research sample of 22 students. The data collection technique in this study uses a test in the form of multiple-choice questions. The data obtained in the analysis uses the Z-test. The results of the study showed that based on the results of data analysis with a significant level of α= 5%, Zcatung = 4,317 and Ztabel = 1,645 (Zcatung > Ztabel). Thus, it can be concluded that the social studies learning results by using the snowball throwing learning mode of grade IV students of SD Negeri Muara Megang are significantly complete. The average final test score was 80.42 and the percentage of students who achieved learning completeness was 82%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Hubungan Kekuatan Otot Lengan terhadap kemampuan long service Bulutangkis siswa kelas V SD Negeri 20 Rejang Lebong. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan metode yaitu teknik korelasi. Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu 15 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Tes. Berdasarkan analisis data dan uji hipotesis diperoleh: lebih besar dari pada , dimana = 0,978 > = 0,514. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan terhadap kemampuan Long service dalam bulutangkis siswa kelas V SD Negeri 20 Rejang Lebong. Sedangkan untuk besarnya kontribusi kekuatan otot lengan terhadap kemampuan Long Service sebesar 94,09%. Artinya kekuatan otot lengan berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan Long service sebesar 94,09%, selebihnya sebesar 5,91% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan passing atlit SSB Silampari Kota Lubuklinggau. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan passing berpasangan terhadap kemampuan passing SSB Silampari Kota Lubuklinggau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen murni. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 26 orang adalah atlet SSB Silampari kota Lubuklinggau. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan secara sampling perpuse, dimana sampel untuk kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 13 orang dan kelompok kontrol sebanyak 13 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes kemampuan passing. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh latihan passing berpasangan terhadap kemampuan passing SSB Silampari Kota Lubuklinggau. Hal ini dapat dilihat hasil nilai rata-rata pre-test pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 3,77 dan pada kelas Kontrol sebesar 3,85. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada kelas eksperimen setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan mengunakan latihan passing berpasangan sebesar 7,85, dan pada kelas kontrol yang diberikan pembelajaran dengan latihan biasa sebesar 5,92. Dengan demikian berarti nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol. Dari hasil analisis data mengunakan uji beda rata-rata (Independent Sample T-test) diperoleh nilai tes akhir di Sig.(2-tailed) = 0,001 < Sig= 0,05, maka Ho ditolak Ha diterima.
