Abstract

This writing aims to find out the types and factors of difficulty that students do in solving math story problems and to find out how to overcome students' difficulties in solving math story problems. The method used for this writing is a qualitative method of analysis type. The writing subject was taken by the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 41 Lubuklinggau with a total of 22 students. Collecting data in this paper using observation techniques, test questions, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this paper are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the writing show that the types of difficulties experienced by students in solving math story problems are: 1). Difficulty transforming the problem, 2) difficulty using arithmetic operations, 3) difficulty drawing conclusions and 4) students are not careful in working on the questions. Factors causing difficulties in solving math story problems are 1) internal factors include: intellectual, interest and motivation. External factors include: school facilities and infrastructure. solutions to overcome difficulties include: students must understand the problem, students understand the mathematical model, students do a lot of exercises and students check answers again. The proportion of students' difficulties in solving problems with the number of students 22 people for the difficulty of transforming the problem is 16.6%, the difficulty using arithmetic operations is 27.8%, the difficulty in drawing conclusions is 72.2 and students are not careful in working on the problem of 67.7% .

Abstract

Vocational education in Indonesia faces challenges in producing graduates with technical competencies aligned with modern industry needs, particularly in workshop practice learning that remains instructive without considering social aspects and collaborative interactions. This research aims to analyze the implementation of lathe machine workshop practices through Vygotsky's social constructivism perspective at SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar. Qualitative research methods with case study design were used to explore the implementation of Zone of Proximal Development concepts, scaffolding, and social interaction in practical learning. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with mechanical engineering teachers and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. Research results show that students' knowledge construction is realized through structured social interaction, instructors' role as more knowledgeable others with peer tutoring systems, gradual scaffolding implementation through demonstration and physical-symbolic tool mediation, and SMK's socio-cultural context supporting collaborative practice communities. This research concludes that Vygotsky's social constructivism theory effectively enhances students' activity, mutual assistance ability, self-confidence, and independence in lathe machine workshop practices.

Abstract

This quasi-experimental research examines the impact of Google Classroom integration on academic performance enhancement among grade XI students studying lathe machining technology at SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar. The study utilized a single-group pretest-posttest methodology with purposive sampling involving 35 vocational education participants across an eight-week implementation phase. Data gathering employed a validated assessment tool containing 40 items (Cronbach's α = 0.951) designed to evaluate theoretical comprehension in lathe machining technology. Statistical examination indicated substantial enhancement in academic achievement following Google Classroom integration, demonstrating mean score progression from 85.57 (SD = 2.963) to 88.37 (SD = 2.808). The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test confirmed statistically meaningful variations (Z = -4.705, p < 0.05) between initial and final assessments, with 88.6% of subjects demonstrating academic progress. The platform's success stems from improved student participation, adaptable learning access, individualized educational experiences, and immediate feedback systems. These results provide empirical validation for digital learning management platform effectiveness within vocational educational settings, especially for technical disciplines requiring theoretical knowledge and practical skill integration. This investigation offers evidence-based guidance for enhancing technology-integrated learning environments in vocational educational institutions.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : sex bebas adalah hubungan yang dilakukan dengan cara berganti-ganti pasangan tanpa menggunakan alat pengaman apapun sehingga menyebabkan kehamilan dikalangan remaja. Salah satu fakta perilaku remaja sexsual, hal ini di tambah dengan terbatasnya pengetahuan mereka tentang system reproduksi, sering kali menyebabkan kehamilan yang tidak di inginkan yang mengarah pada tindakan aborsi illegal, dan resiko PMS termasuk HIV/AIDS.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi di SMA N 1 GEBOG KUDUS.Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei Sampai Juli di SMA N 1 GEBOG KUDUS kelas XI dengan jumlah Populasi yang diambil sejumlah 35 responden.Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian korelasi analitik. Cara pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik penghitungan dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS12,0.Hasil data yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa didapakan tingkat pengetahuan baik sebanyak pada remaja di SMA N 1 Gebog Kudus sebanyak 21 siswa (60%), berpengetahuan cukup 12 siswa (34,3%)dan berpengetahuan kurang sebanyak 2 siswa (5,7%).Berdasarkan tingkat perilaku seksual remaja didapatkan perilaku yang menyimpang sebanyak 7 siswa (20%), dan Perilaku yang tidak menyimpang sebanyak 20 siswa (57,1%). Hasil uji x² hitung (7,693%) x² tabel (5,991%) yang berarti Ha ditolak dan Ho diterima, yang berarti ada hubungan pengetahuan remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja dengan perilaku seksual di SMA N 1 Gebog Kudus.Kesimpulkan Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan remaja dengan sikap perilaku seksual  remaja. Sehingga perlu diadakan upaya untuk memberikan penyuluhan. Bagi bidan di kabupaten kudus sebagai tenaga kesehatan agar lebih memperhatikan remaja yang berperilaku seksual menyimpang dengan memberikan penyuluhan terhadap remaja melalui bantuan Pelayanan Kesehatan Peduli Remaja (PKPR). Dan juga bekerjasama terhadap guru, orang tua, dan teman sebaya

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate school environment conditions at SMA Negeri 1 Padaido using the Discrepancy Evaluation Model to identify gaps between ideal standards and actual conditions. In-depth interviews with twenty informants, 40 hours of participatory observation, and documentation study were employed using a qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews with 29 informants, 40 hours of participatory observation, and documentation study. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis with MAXQDA 2022 software and validated through method triangulation and member checking. Results revealed significant discrepancies across five evaluation stages: design (22%), installation (34%), process (28%), product (31%), and cost-benefit (19%). The highest gaps were identified in sanitation facilities, with structural damage, and digital learning resource access, where only 28% of students have regular internet access. Based on Priority Index analysis, four priority intervention dimensions are sanitation-health facilities (PI=0.56), learning infrastructure (PI=0.41), social-emotional climate (PI=0.30), and digital access (PI=0.27). This research recommends developing medium-term development roadmaps, establishing a Quality Assurance Team, implementing participatory planning, and strengthening data-based advocacy to obtain adequate resource allocation for creating quality learning environments.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines cognitive transitions and epistemological obstacles in undergraduate mathematics education by testing an integrated APOS and SOLO+ framework within formal ε-δ limit proofs. Method: Using an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design, CB-SEM analyzed data from 278 undergraduates to test theoretical structural relationships. Qualitatively, a "diagnostic task analysis" employing the Constant Comparative Method examined task-based interviews from 8 key informants to dissect transitional cognitive anomalies. Findings: CB-SEM confirmed that Structural Complexity (SOLO+) significantly partially mediates the effect of Cognitive Mechanisms (APOS) on Proof Proficiency, explaining 62.4% of the variance. Qualitative autopsies identified two specific transitional traps: Interiorization Instability (Semi-Relational level), marked by universal quantifier failures and reversed logic in linear tasks; and Encapsulation Rigidity (Semi-Extended level), marked by intuitive blockages during bounding strategies in non-linear tasks. Consequently, a grounded taxonomy was generated to distinguish superficial syntactic "slips" from deep-seated epistemological "errors." Significance: This framework shifts pedagogical evaluation from outcome-based syntax to transitional cognitive diagnosis, providing a powerful blueprint for addressing learning barriers and laying the theoretical foundation for future diagnostic tools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the completeness of the social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 61 Lubuklinggau after the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model was implemented. The research method is quantitative research with a Pre-Expremimental Design approach. The population is all fourth-grade students and the sample is fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 61 Lubuklinggau who were taken using random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using test techniques, in the from of multiple choices of 14 questions. The data analysis technique used the t-test, with a significance level of a = 0,05. The result of the data analysis can be concluded that the social studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 61 Lubuklinggau after the Teans Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model was implemented significantly. With an average value of 80,10 and the precentage of students who completed reaching 93%.   Keywords: Cooperatif Learning, Contextual Teaching and Learning, Learning Outcomes, Social Studies.

Abstract

The training of learning media using the context of local tourism for mathematics teachers was carried out with the aim of improving the ability of teachers in compiling learning media using the context of local tourism that is familiar to students so that it can facilitate the learning process in the classroom, in addition, with this activity a teacher can have more experience in designing or planning a learning media that is in accordance with the student's residential environment, furthermore through this activity can provide a more meaningful mathematics learning experience to students, where mathematics is really linked to things that students often encounter. The methods used in this activity are discussion, lecture and demonstration, the results of data analysis in the form of a response questionnaire. Based on the results of the calculation of the response questionnaire to the training, a percentage score of 92.625% was obtained

Abstract

This community service aimed to improve elementary teachers’ competence in designing contextual mathematics learning using Math City Map at Taman Beregam, Musi Rawas. The two-day training covered preparation, implementation, and mentoring stages. Results indicated an increase in teachers’ understanding of contextual learning from 26% to 82%. Eleven out of fifteen participants (73.3%) successfully created contextual tasks integrating measurement, geometry, and ratio concepts with real park objects. Interview analysis revealed six main themes: learning transformation, technological innovation, adaptation challenges, implementation plans, institutional support, and teacher professionalism. The training effectively enhanced teachers’ innovative capacity in developing contextual, technology-supported mathematics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar matematika dan aktivitas siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan berbasis Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI). Penelitian menggunakan metode pre-experimental design dengan desain one-group pre-test post-test. Sampel penelitian adalah 38 siswa kelas VIII.7 SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan observasi. Tes berupa pre-test dan post-test dengan 6 soal uraian pada materi relasi dan fungsi. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dengan hasil dan pada α = 0,05 dengan dk = 37. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan media Edpuzzle berbasis PMRI membuat hasil belajar matematika siswa mencapai ketuntasan secara signifikan serta meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dari kategori cukup aktif menjadi aktif.
