Abstract

Background Alalak River is a river whose people have daily activities, these activities include drinking water sources, bathing, washing clothes, cooking, washing food ingredients. The Alak River is also a river that is surrounded by industries such as the wood playwood industry and the Pertamina industry. The existence of the factory can lead to heavy metal contamination around the river. Objective to analyze the content of lead metal in water and papuyu fish in the Alalak river area with atomic absorption spectrophotometry method Method The research method is an analytical description by identifying lead heavy metals in fish and river water using color reactions for qualitative analysis and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 283.3. Results : The study showed the color reaction of qualitative analysis on river water and papuyu fish meat with positive results with KI, NaOH and HCl as reagents. Fish content results. The results obtained in sample A of papuyu fish were 0.450 mg/kg and sample B of alalak river water was 0.003 mg/L, with the linear regression equation y = 0.00020 + 0.1556 x a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.998330, the sample average is 5.371 Conclusion: The conclusion of the study Contains analysis of lead levels in water and meat of papuyu fish in the Alalak River, Banjarmasin, obtained for positive qualitative test results showing lead metal compounds in all reagents. Quantitative results of lead levels in papuyu are 0.450 mg/kg

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Surfaktan anionik berasal dari deterjen yang digunakan untuk mencuci pakaian di industri laundry. Hasil dari cucian menimbulkan dampak negatif yang menyebabkan adanya cemaran limbah di perairan sungai Martapura. Tujuan : Penelitian ini untuk melihat kadar surfaktan anionik serta membandingkan dengan literature dan melihat pengaruh pada jarak 100 meter, 200 meter dan 300 meter dari Industri laundry. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu limbah laundry di air Sungai Martapura diukur menggunakan metode Spektrofotometri Visible. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan kadar surfaktan anionik yang melebihi ambang batas yaitu pada jarak 100 meter sebesar 3,4 mg/l, jarak 200 meter sebesar 2,4 mg/l dan jarak 300 meter sebesar 1,6 mg/l sesuai dengan Peraturan Pemerintah No 82 tahun 2001 sebesar 0,2 mg/l. Terdapat pengaruh pada jarak 100 meter, 200 meter dan 300 meter dikarenakan semakin jauh jarak dari industri laundry maka akan semakin kecil konsentrasi yang didapat. Kesimpulan : Dari penelitian ini didapatkan nilai kadar surfaktan anionik dan adanya pengaruh pada jarak yang telah ditentukan. Kata Kunci : Kadar surfaktan anionik, Spektrofotometri Visible.

Abstract

The increase in covid-19 cases in the community, especially in South Kalimantan, attacks all age groups, including teenagers. The penetration of the health protocol campaign is still lacking in increasing public awareness so that they could take an active role in implementing health protocols for themselves and everyone around. Therefore, there is a need for another approach in a more flexible format for the community, especially teenagers, in sharing experiences from covid-19 survivors, as well as the need for a comprehensive understanding of the impact of covid-19 on individuals and families. The campaign must continue to be innovative and consistent. Teenagers become objects of community service due to the high intensity of internet use in social media so that they can provide positive information to their surroundings. This program aims to increase awareness of covid 19 through education and sharing experiences from covid-19 survivors in a format adapted to the character of partners. The method used is a survey of partner conditions, implementation of activities, and evaluation of activities. This activity results in a significant increase in partner knowledge regarding covid-19. --- Peningkatan kasus Covid-19 di masyarakat, terutama Kalimantan Selatan menyerang semua lini usia, termasuk remaja. Penetrasi kampanye protokol kesehatan dirasa masih kurang meningkatkan kepedulian masyarakat agar berperan aktif dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan bagi diri dan orang sekitarnya. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya pendekatan lain dalam format yang lebih santai kepada masyarakat terutama remaja dalam berbagi pengalaman dari penyintas Covid-19, serta butuhnya pemahaman komprehensif mengenai dampak penyakit Covid-19 bagi pribadi ataupun keluarga. Kampanye harus terus dilakukan secara inovatif dan konsisten. Remaja menjadi objek pengabdian kepada masyarakat dikarenakan tingginya intensitas penggunaan internet dalam bermedia sosial, sehingga dapat memberikan informasi positif kepada sekitarnya. Tujuan dari program ini adalah meningkatkan kewaspadaan Covid-19 melalui edukasi dan berbagi pengalaman dari penyintas Covid-19 dengan format yang disesuaikan dengan karakter mitra. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei kondisi mitra, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terjadi peningkatkan pengetahuan mitra terkait Covid-19 secara signifikan.

Abstract

Background: Turmeric rhizome extract (Curcuma domestica Val.) is a plant that contains curcumin compounds that have the potential to be antioxy and useful for healing canker sores. Current pharmaceutical technology continues to develop, one of which is in particles that are made smaller into nanoparticles as a drug delivery system where the particle size or globule that is reduced in the mouthwash is changed to be smaller and called nanomouthwash to improve the quality of absropsy in the use of mouthwash. Objective: : Knowing the physical quality of nanomouthwash preparations from turmeric rhizome extract (Curcuma domestica Val.) as a treatment of thrush and knowing the stability of the formulation of nanomouthwash preparations from turmeric rhizome extract as a treatment of Ulce.. Methods: The research method used is quasi-experimental time series design. nanomouthwash preparations of turmeric rhizome extract are made in 1 formulation with an extract concentration of 6.96 grams with Characteristic Evaluation and Physical Evaluation. Result: Evaluation of Characteristics which includes Evaluation of Particle Size worth 20.4 nm, PI worth 0.39 and Zeta Potential -5.5 mV while in Physical Evaluation obtained results which include Evaluation of Organoleptical, pH, Homogeneity and Viscosity have been appropriate in Stability Tests at room temperature and cold temperature. Conclusion: : Characteristic Evaluation and Physical Evaluation get the appropriate results and Stability Tests at room temperature and cold temperatures have an effect on pH and Viscosity evaluations, especially on days 14 and 21.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background Alum is an aluminum sulfate compound consisting of sulfate double salts which has metal ions. Has the chemical formula [Al2(SO4)3.18H2O]. The maximum level of sulfate that is allowed to be contained in drinking water is regulated by the Republic of Indonesia Regulation No.492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010 of 250 mg/l. Objective To find out sulfate levels in drinking water samples consumed by Lok Buntar Village community. Method The study used an Analytical Observational Prospective Cohort Design. The population of the Lok Buntar Village research population is alum use as a water purifier that is used as drinking water. The research sample is boiled drinking water containing sulfate (alum) in Lok Buntar Village. Taken by purposive sampling. Data analysis using linear regression to determine levels. Results SO42- sulfate levels at volume of 150 L obtained 53.184 mg/l, at a volume of 100 L that is 42.162 mg/l, at a volume of 50 L obtained levels of 40.266 mg/. Ha ≠ 0 there are SO42- levels in drinking water at the sampling point at volumes of 150 L, 100 L and 50 L. Conclusion: The presence of SO42- sulfate levels at the sampling point at a volume of 150 L is 53.184 mg/l, 100 L is 42.162 mg/l and 50 L is 40.266 mg/l. Abstract

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND: Water is one of the resources that contains the main needs including humans, animals and plants. Indonesia is a country that has a lot of air resources and is known as a maritime country consisting of thousands of islands. Indonesia also has more than 500 rivers. One of them is the Barito River located in Ulu Benteng Village RT.11 Barito Kuala Regency is still used by the community for daily needs. One of them is used for clothing and drinking water sources. OBJECTIVE: To determine and compare the levels of anionic surfactants in the Barito river with different time intervals, namely the 1st, 4th and 7th days. METHODS: This research uses descriptive research with group design. The population and sample used were all of the Barito River water with inclusion and exclusion criteria using the Visible Spectrophotometer method. RESULTS: Significant value of the results of calculations using SPSS of 0.593 with the results of the value of the relationship coefficient (r) 0.997 and the results of the first day level of 4 mg/L, day 4 of 2 mg/L and day 7 of 2, 8 mg/L which determines levels exceeding the normal threshold that has been determined by Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001 which is 0.2 mg/L. CONCLUSION: Anionic surfactant content in the Barito River water has a value that exceeds the threshold of Government Regulation Number 82 Year 2001, namely on day 1 of 4 mg/L, day 4 of 2 mg/L and day 7 of 2,8 mg/L. The significance value is 0.593 which means that there is no time difference and the hypothesis is rejected. Keywords: Visible Spectrophotometer, Barito River, Anionic Surfactant

Abstract

Background: Cholesterol is an essential material to synthesize important substances in the body. Cholesterol is transported to various body tissues with the help of lipoprotein, which contain particles of fats, proteins and other substances. Hyperlipidemia is an increased level of lipids in the blood. Increased cholesterol levels occur mainly because of bad lifestyle; the habit of eating fast food or instant food which increasing cholesterol levels in the blood. Non-pharmacogical managements can be given by administering extracts of natural ingredients such as flavonoids contained in Ketepeng Cina.   Objective: To know the potential of ethanolic extract Ketepeng CinaLeaves to reduce plasma cholesterol in hyperlipidemic male mice.   Methods:Analyzing through the database, Pubmed, Google Scholar from 2010 to 2020 with the keyword of Chinese patty, and flavonoids.   Results:3 database search methods found 205 articles consisting of 24 google scholar, pubmed 169, and obtained 9 articles that filled the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Conclusion:The Potential Of Ethanolic Extract Ketepeng Cina Leaves (Cassia Alata L.)is proven To Contain Flavonoids That Can Reduce High Number Of Cholesterol Values In The Blood Of Test Animals Such As Mice.Keywords: Ketepeng Cina, Cassia alata L,Flavonoid, Hiperlipidemia, Cholesterol

Abstract

Background Whitening cream is a mixture of chemicals or other material which is able to whiten the skin. The presence of heavy metals such as Hg and Cd in the whitening cream products are very dangerous, because if the heavy metal ions adsorbed into tissue and organs, it will cause health problems. Objective This study aims was to find out the properties and levels of heavy metals mercuri and cadmium in the sample of the bleach cream in Banjarmasin. And to find out whether heavy metals in mercury and cadmium exceed the statute limit by the National Agency of Drug and Food Control of the Republic of Indonesia BPOM RI No. 12 tahun 2019. Method The study USES a method of analytic observation with a cross sectional design. The sample of the bleach cream used was a cream-bleach product with no license of The food and drug administration. As many as five samples of bleach cream were purchased at random in three markets that were on Banjarmasin analyzed using atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Results Research shows the highest hg concentration of metal showing on a sample of bleaching cream with a code E 0.675 µ /kg, the highest cd-metal content showing on the sample of the bleach code C 0.994 mg/kg. Conclusion: The result is under the limit set by the terms by the National Agency of Drug and Food Control of the Republic of Indonesia BPOM RI No. 12 tahun 2019. Abstract

Background: Tomato sauce with a red color is often misused by manufacturers by adding coloring agents that are prohibited for use in food such as Rhodamin B. Tomato sauce is also usually made by adding preservatives such as Benzoic Acid which cannot be dissociated, causing toxic effects on excessive use. Objective: to analyze the coloring ingredients and preservatives in terms of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis in several tomato sauce products circulating in Banjarmasin City. Methods: the research method is analytical description by identifying rhodamine b compounds using Thin Layer Chromatography and UV-VIS Spectrophotometry with a wavelength of 534 nm in samples of ketchup A and B, then identification of Benzoic Acid compounds is carried out by qualitative analysis, namely color test with FeCl3 reagent, acid-base titration and UV-VIS spectrophotometric method with a wavelength of 230 nm. Results: solvent KLT method used by using butanol: ethyl acetate: ammonia solvent with a ratio of 10:4:5) The results showed that the Rf value for sample 1 and sample 2 was 0.9966 cm. The results of quantitative analysis of rhodami b using UV-VIS spectrophotometer method with a wavelength of 543 nm Regression calibration curve obtained line equation y = 0.02265 x + 0.0226 with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.998330, average sample 5.371. Conclusion: The identification results of Rhodamin B do not meet the requirements of the Permenkes, while the results of benzoic acid still meet the SNI standards.
