Abstract

Guided inquiry merupakan model yang menuntun siswa untuk menemukan jawaban dari suatu permasalahan, sedangkan e-modul merupakan media yang dapat menumbuhkan kreativitas, kebiasaan berpikir produktif, menciptakan kondisi aktif, efektif, inovatif dan menyenangkan serta dapat mengembangkan kemampuan literasi kimia pada siswa. Guided inquiry dipadukan dengan e-modul pada materi pokok kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Control Group Pre Test-Post Test Design. Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa diukur melalui hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan guided inquiry berbantuan e-modul dan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan metode konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh rata-rata pre-test dan post test keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 30,79 dan 73,32, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 31,71 dan 65,15. Hasil uji Anava menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan antara kedua kelas. Analisis peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelas mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, namun kelas eksperimen lebih efektif dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan guide inquiry berbantuan e-moduldapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.   Guided inquiry is a model that leads students to find the answer to a problem, while the e-module is a media that can foster creativity, productive thinking habits, creating conditions of active, effective, innovative and fun and can develop chemical literacy skills in students. Guided Inquiry combined with e-modules in the subject matter solubility and solubility product to increase students' critical thinking skills.Experimental design of this research is Control Group Pre Test-Post Test Design. Critical thingking skills evaluated by cognitive learning outcomes. Based on the results obtained by analysis of the average of pre-test and post-test students' critical thinking skills experiment class is 30,79 and 73,32, and the control class is 31,71 and 65,15. Anova test results showed a significant difference between the averages of two classes. The analysis showed an increase in students 'critical thinking skills, both experimental class and control class, but the experiment class is more effective in enhancing critical thinking skills than control class. The conclusion of this research is the learning guided inquiry assisted e-module can enhance students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Selain itu, pembelajaran yang berlangsung kurang melibatkan aktivitas siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental, dengan desain yang digunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah besarnya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri lebih baik secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan siswa yang belajar dengan metode konvensional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Semarang, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas, yaitu kelas XI MIA 7 dan kelas XI MIA 8. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrumen tes, berupa pretest dan posttest. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji beda rata-rata, dan uji N-gain. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, yaitu besarnya peningkatan N-gain kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas kontrol.   This research was conducted based on the finding of low of student critical thinking skills of. In addition, the learning that takes less involve student activity. This study is a quasi-experimental research, the design used Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the magnitude of increase in critical thinking skills students learn by inquiry learning model significantly better than students who studied with conventional methods. The population in this study is student of a class XI SMAN 1 Semarang, while samples are used as much as two classes, that is class XI MIA 7 and class XI MIA 8. The sampling technique used in this study is a cluster random sampling. Instruments used in this research that the test instrument, such as pretest and posttest. Analysis technique of data used is normality test, homogeneity, different test average, and N-gain test. The results obtained from this study, which is a big increase in N-gain critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class is significantly higher than the critical thinking skills of students in the control class.

Abstract

The essence of learning Science is not just remembering and understanding the concept but also a habitual behavior in finding concepts. Science learning requires a laboratory to train students' skills. Complete laboratory will be useful if used as possible. The Worksheet Practice design with guided inquiry approach is needed to facilitate students in conducting laboratory experiments. This study aims to determine the feasibility of integrated Worksheet Practice design based on guided inquiry and effectiveness of student laboratory skills. The research design used is one group pretest and post test design. Research data obtained by observation method, documentation, questionnaire, and test. The results obtained mean score 80.56 on the presentation aspect, 81.25 on the content feasibility aspect, 81.95 on aspects of graphical aspect, and 82.50 on the language aspect with maxsimal score 100. The results showed that Worksheet Practice design with guided inquiry approach is categorized as very feasible and can improve students' laboratory skill and knowledge. Hakikat belajar Sains tidak sekedar mengingat dan memahami konsep melainkan juga merupakan pembiasaan perilaku dalam menemukan konsep. Pembelajaran sains memerlukan laboratorium untuk melatih keterampilan siswa. Laboratorium lengkap akan bermanfaat apabila digunakan sebaik mungkin. Desain Lembar Kerja Praktikum dengan pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing diperlukan untuk mempermudah siswa dalam melakukan percobaan di laboratorium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan desain Lembar Kerja Praktikum terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing serta keefektifannya terhadap keterampilan laboratorium siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest and post test design. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode observasi, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Hasil penelitian diperoleh rerata skor 80,56 pada aspek penyajiaan 81,25 pada aspek kelayakan isi, 81,94 pada aspek kegrafikan, dan 82,50 pada aspek kebahasaan dengan skor maksimal 100. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain Lembar Kerja Praktikum dengan pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dikategorikan sangat layak dan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan laboratorium dan pengetahuan siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) based module to critical thinking skill and student learning independence related to reaction rate material. PBL-based module is a module that can make students think actively in searching and finding answers from a problem. This type of research is an experiment. The research design used is posttest design and sampling technique using purposive sampling. The research instruments used were: cognitive test to measure students' critical thinking skill, questionnaire of learning independence, and questionnaire of student response to learning. Quantitative analysis result of experiment class score is 77,49 with 25 complete student from 28 students and control class has average 73,62 with 22 students complete from 29 students. Correlation test obtained correlation number of 0.37 and test the coefficient of determination obtained a number of 14.31%. Qualitative analysis found that overall showed that the experimental class was better than the control class. Thus it is concluded that the application of PBL-based module affect the improvement of critical thinking skills and student independence learning.

Abstract

This study aims to design a diagnostic test instrument misconceptions of Reduction and Oxidation reaction (redox) methods of Three-Tier Multiple Choice by developing Redox Diagnostic Test (RDT) software. The use of RDT can produce diagnostic test results of students' understanding immediately after the process of testing work. The understanding profiles experienced by the students in each class can be automatically captured so that the understanding of students' understanding time becomes shorter than the manual way. Although the testing work is done online, students cannot access the software outside the school computer lab so as to avoid the student dishonesty in the test. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D). The research model adopted in the Four-D development model with the research stage that is, define, design, develop, and dissemination. The result of content validation gets a score of 47 is on a very feasible criterion, so also media validation get score 28,5 is at very reasonable criteria. The results of the analysis of the level of understanding show that the test instrument using RDT software can diagnose understanding students well. Based on the small and large scale test set 19 item questions used in the test instrument. The result of instruments reliability test on the large-scale test by using KR-21 formula is 0,72 which belongs to a good category.

Abstract

Science learning aims to help students to be able to master the knowledge of scientific order. Science learning will be more meaningful for students, if students have good literacy skills. Someone has scientific literacy skills that can both understand and communicate science, and applying science knowledge in solving problems, and can make decisions based on scientific considerations. The results of international research show that the literacy rate of Indonesian students is in the low category. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of SETS learning to improve students' scientific literacy skills. The design of this study used quasi experimental with non-equivalent control group design. In general, the results of the study show that the effectiveness of SETS learning can be seen based on student learning outcomes in the experimental class showing better than control class students and increasing scientific literacy skills in each of the relatively high categories. Science literacy skills in the interaction of science, technology, and society experienced the highest increase in ability compared to other scientific literacy categories.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, validity and effectiveness of science learning materials based on discovery learning to improve learning outcomes and student curiosity. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. The model used in this study is the 4D model consists of four stages of development, namely Define (defining), Design (design), Develop (development), and Disseminate (spread). The method used in this research is observation, questionnaire, test, and documentation. The feasibility of teaching materials is obtained from the response of students and teachers to teaching materials. The validity of teaching materials is obtained from the validation of media and material experts. Effectiveness is measured by student learning outcomes and increased curiosity. The results of the study showed that discovery learning based science materials were developed appropriate, valid and effective to improve learning outcomes and students' curiosity. The N-Gain results were 0.71 with a high level of achievement, and the percentage of students' increasing curiosity attitudes was 70.12%, 79.69% and 82.03%. The results of the study concluded that science learning materials based on discovery learning were developed effectively to improve learning outcomes and students' curiosity.

Abstract

The developed module is a module that implements the Laskar Kalpataru program aimed at knowing the eligibility of the module as an effort to improve environmental care attitudes, knowing the increasing of students? independence in learning, and knowing the effectiveness of the developed module in improving student learning outcomes. By using research and development (R&D) method, the results of this study indicate that the module are appropriate to be used in accordance with the eligibility criteria of the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP). It is in accordance with the phase I assessment of getting "yes" answer on all aspects in the questions. In the second phase of assessment, an average percentage of content eligibility is 92.97%, the language eligibility is 90.83% and the presentation component is 90.3%. The application of module is effective to improve student learning outcomes and improve the environmental care attitude.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of project-based chemistry learning models on cearning completeness and student creativity through the Chemsong video making project. The research method uses the pretest-posttest control group design while the data analysis uses the parametric statistical test that is N-gain, the independent sample t test and the sample t-test paired test. The sample in this study was obtained by cluster random sampling technique from the population of all students of SMK N 8. The gain normality test showed that the average results of the pretest-posttest clasical learning completeness increased by 0.53 with the criteria being in the experimental class and the control class at 0,31 with moderate criteria. The results of the independent sample t-test showed that there was a significant difference in the classical learning completeness of the experimental and control group students, which was 4.56 greater than t critic 1.98 with a significance level of 5%. In the paired sample t test, the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0.05. Whereas the results of student creativity t-test obtained sig values. (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the application of the chemistry learning model based on the Chemsong video project has an effect on improving student mastery learning and creativity.
