Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah merancang sebuah sistem informasi untuk pengelolaan audit mutu internal (AMI) yang menjadi bagian dari siklus Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) Pendidikan Tinggi (Dikti), yaitu evaluasi pelaksanaan standar Dikti. AMI berperan dalam proses pemeriksaan pemenuhan Standar Dikti pada tahap pelaksanaan standar. Banyaknya proses dalam sistem AMI mulai dari mulai desk-evaluation, visitasi, permintaan tindakan koreksi, dan dokumentasi. Ditambah lagi kegiatan AMI yang idealnya dilaksanakan setiap tahun untuk setiap program studi, dan jumlah auditor yang terbatas menuntut dibangunnya sebuah sistem informasi agar proses monitoring dan pengambilan keputusan dapat dilakukan dengan mudah, sehingga pengelolaan dapat berjalan efisien dan berkelanjutan. Sistem informasi diperlukan, sistem ini dikembangkan dengan pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), dimana dalam proses pengembangannya terdapat empat tahapan besar yaitu perencanaan, analisis, perancangan, dan implementasi. Sistem AMI yang dirancang untuk dapat digunakan secara umum pada proses AMI di perguruan tinggi, terutama di Universitas Tanjungpura (Untan). Beberapa kendala yang dihadapi sebelum menggunakan sistem informasi, misalnya sulitnya mengetahui dengan cepat informasi terkait perbaikan mutu untuk setiap program studi secara periodik. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah rancangan sistem informasi yang mengelola kebutuhan AMI secara terintegrasi mulai dari proses penjadwalan, self-assessment (desk-evaluation) oleh program studi, visitasi, tindakan koreksi, dan pelaporan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sifat antijamur asap cair kayu bintangur dalam menghambat pertumbuhan jamur S. commune secara in vitro.  Asap cair kayu bintangur yang digunakan sebanyak tiga jenis hasil dari pirolisis pada suhu 370, 400 dan 430oC. Medium PDA digunakan untuk efikasi asap cair kayu bintagur terhadap pertumbuhan jamur S. commune. Efikasi asap cair kayu bintangur terhadap jamur S. commune dengan rancangan acak lengkap faktorial, terdiri atas suhu pembuatan asap cair kayu bintangur (370, 400, dan 430oC) dan konsentrasi asap cair kayu bintangur (0, 0,5, 1,0, 1,5 dan 2,0%, v/v). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu pirolisis produksi asap cair dan konsentrasi asap cair berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap daya hambat pertumbuhan jamur, S. commune. Kemampuannya sebesar 100% pada konsentrasi 2% masing-masing pada suhu pirolisis asap cair 370, 400, dan 430°C.

Abstract

This research is aimed at describing people’s perceptions of utilization sugar palm plants in the village of Sekabuk Sadaniang sub-district, as well as analyzing the relationship of each of the factor of age, knowledge, and income with people’s perceptions of the utilization of palm plants in the village of Sekabuk Saadaniang sub-district. This research uses direct interview technique method with questionnaire tool, determination of respondents carried out by purposive sampling based on slovin formula amounting to 83 respondents, the criteria of respondents in the research are people who live in the village of Sekabuk, people who know about the use of palm trees, at least 15 years old (already married), physically and mentally healthy. Data analysis consisted of community perceptions of the use of palm trees and the relationship between age, knowledge, and income with community perceptions of the use of palm trees in Sekabuk village. Based on the results of data and calculations of the three variables, forage and knowledge categories there is no relationship with community perceptions, while the income category is related to people’s perceptions. The results of the study showed that community perceptions of the utilization of sugar palm plants tended to be positive namely 77 respondents (92,77%), neutral 6 respondents (7,23%), and negative 0 respondents (0,00%). Characteristics of Sekabuk village respondents based on age levels dominated by young and adult levels each of 30 respondents (36,14%). Characteristics of respondents based on the level of knowledge dominated by people with a high level of knowledge of 81 respondents (97,60%), and for the characteristics of respondents based on the level of income dominated with a moderate income level of 65 respondents (79,52%).Keywords: Community perception, Utilization Of Palm Sugar Plants

Abstract

Information about infestation potential of Crustacean in mangrove Mendalok village in West Kalimantan is unknown. The purpose of this study was to identify the spesies of Crustacean that attacked mangrove seeds and to investigated their level of destruction by crustacean mangrove forest. This research was carried out for 4 weeks in the field. This method uses a survey method with a single plot technique. Plots made of 16 plots with a size of 5x5 m considering the discovery of a nest and the problem of destruction due to Crustaceans and shelter / nest containing holes. Three types of pest were found, from the famili Grapsidae, Sesarmidae and Ocypodidae. The average percentage of plants attacked is 8.07. The average attack rate of 7.04 attacks includes the mild category. The average level of damage of all plot is 7.05 of these attacks included in the mild category.Keyword: Crustacean, Mangrove, Seedling

Abstract

The plant's species which used as a food source by humans that contains carbohydrates and can produce energy as a source of protein, vitamins, fats, and minerals. The purposes of this research were to obtain the data of the species of plants used as food sources and also to obtain data on the plant parts and how to process these plants as food sources used in Jawai Laut Village, South Jawai District, Sambas Regency. The data is collected by using a survey method through semi-structured interviews with the respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the research found that 58 species of plants belonging to 30 families. Most of them are in the family of Arecaceae, Solanaceae, Moraceae 4 species. The part used is the fruit of 40 species (56%). The plants used as vegetables, spices, and beverage ingredients. There are 28 species (41%) of plants which used by direct consumption, 35 species (51%) of cooked plants, 3 species (4%) of mashed plants, 3 species (4%) of mined plants, and most of the plants which used are from the fruit group, there are 34 species ( 59%), 12 species of vegetables (21%). Food plants are obtained from the cultivation of 48 species (79%), and wild plants 19 species (30%).Keyword: Food sources, Jawai Laut Village, Plant species

Abstract

Nipah is one of the non-timber forest products whose all the part of the plant can be utilized. This research aimed to find out the information on various forms of utilization of nipah by the community of Suka Maju hamlet in Sungai Sepeti village Kayong Utara regency. This study used a descriptive method with direct interview technique to a number of respondents to get response. Sampling was perfomed with snowball sampling method. The results showed that the community of Suka Maju Hamlet of Sungai Sepeti village in Seponti Subdistrict of Kayong Utara Regency utilized 5 parts of the nipah namely leaves, shoots, sticks, fruit, and flowers. Using The parts of the nipah, people can use its leaves as roof or as raw building material,  nipah shoots for making of art craft woven mats, rice countainer, and cigarette, sticks on the sticks for making brooms, the fruit for making kolang kaling, an the flower can be consumed and used as a temporary treatment for fever.Keywords: Nipah, Snowball Sampling, Suka Maju Hamlet, Utilization

Abstract

Medicinal plants are one of the important components in medicine, in the form of traditional herbal concoctions and have been used since hundreds of years ago, to solve various health problems. This study aims to obtain the spesies of traditional medicinal plants used by the community in Gunung Sembilan Village in treating diseases and to know the use of medicinal plants and how to concoct medicinal raw materials. Data collection with interview and determination of responden uses a snowball sampling technique or carried out sequentially by asking for information on people who have been interviewed or contacted before the research. Observations were made, namely by walking while (without plots) making direct observations in the field together with respondents who knew about the medicinal plants. The results of interviews with the community of Gunung Sembilan Village, Sukadana District North Kayong Regency, 27 species of medicinal plants and 23 families were utilized by the community. The use of herbs is single or mixed, the most widely used are leaves (10 species or 37.04%). The most commonly used processing method is pounded (12 species or 44.44%), and how to consume the most frequently done, which is drink (12 species or 44.44%).Keywords : Gunung Sembilan village community, medicinal plants.

Abstract

West Kalimantan is famous for wet tropical forests that store different types of plant species that are traditionally used by the public. Bani Amas Village Community is still very dependent on the forest for their daily needs, especially in the use of medicinal plants to cure various diseases has been done for generations and has been going on since long. The purpose of this study is to determine the types of medicinal plants and their use by the public, knowing the medicinal plant parts used, how mixes and know the different types of diseases that can be overcome by using the herb. From the research found 48 medicinal plant species, 46 genera and 34 families were used, as many as 17 species in the form of herbs, 35 species used alone, 26 species the leaves are used, 24 species used by boiling, 35 species used by drink. Abstract

Condition of mangrove seeds attacked by pest insect and their level of destruction at PUP PT. BIOS are inidetified until now. The purpose of this study was to identify the spesies of insect that attacked mangrove seeds and to investigate their level of destruction at PT. BIOS West Kalimantan. This study was conducted for 4 weeks at PT. BIOS, Batu Ampar sub-district, Kubu raya regency. Survey method was applied for collecting data of research, specifically employing direct observation in research setting toward: 1) destruction level of mangrove seeds attackedby pest insect, 2) signs on plant, and 3) types of pest insect that attacked mangrove seeds. The collected data was analyzed by calculating the percentage on plant attacked by pest insect at each PUP, level of destruction at each PUP, level of destruction at all PUP, and frequency of pest insect attacked at each PUP. The findings indicate that 4 types of pest insect has attacked the mangrove (Rhizophora apiculata) seeds at PT. BIOS, Batu Ampar sub-district, Kubu raya regency and they consisted of 3 ordo and 4 families, distinctively Polistes sp, Sexsava sp, Orgyia postica, and Dasychira inclusa. They study revealed that the level of destruction on mangrove (Rhizophora apiculata) seeds at PT. BIOS, Batu Ampar sub-district, Kubu raya regency was categorized as low to average (15% to 40,57%) as well. Keywords: insect, mangrove seeds (Rhizophora apiculata Bl)

Abstract

Handling of illegal logging efforts undertaken by the SPORC Brigade Bekantan is still considered to be less significant results. One due to the lack of monitoring systems and data handling cases of illegal logging and information effectively and efficiently. It has been developed within the framework of Case Tracking Database Application which aims to integrate all the data and information of illegal logging cases ranging from criminal detection process until settlement in court. This study aims to identify and analyze the data and information that illegal logging cases handled by SPORC Brigade Bekantan. This research method is descriptive of the data and information that illegal logging cases handled by the SPORC Brigade Bekantan from 2006 to 2012 were collected by the study documentation for further processed and analyzed by the application of Case Tracking Database. Interpretation of the results is done so as to obtain a conclusion that is used to monitor the progress of cases handled by illegal logging. From the data processing and information illegal logging cases, it is known that there are as many as 73 reported incidentsby the suspect as many as 82 people and as many as 149 units of evidenc.A total of 72 cases or 99% were carried out while the investigation process for resolving cases as much as 85% or 62 cases that had P-21 and for data only 16 verdict or the case only reached 22%. Evidence of the amount of logs and processed wood, total non-tax revenue of the auction proceeds of Rp.3.618.025.000,-, while the economic losses that should be obtained from PSDH, DR and replacementstumpage valueof Rp.1.998.446.339,-.
