Abstract

Drying clothes is a simple activity to do at home and can not be avoid in daily life. The busyness for each individual outside home makes the activity is not simple anymore. The occurrence of problems such as rain, resulting clothes that have been dry become wet again. To avoid these conditions, the owner needs to be at home when the rain occurs. Smart home is a concept that can be the right and effective solution for every problems in the house. The ability of smart home to control almost all equipment at home make the activities at home efficiently. This Research develop a smart clothes roofing system that can be controlled and monitored by users through an application on smartphone. This system uses rain sensor, humidity and temperature sensors (DHT22), and light sensor (LDR). NRF24L01 as a transceiver module, Arduino Uno as microcontroller and Raspberry Pi as gateway to VPS. The test results obtained the maximum range of NRF2L01 to communicate is 97 meters in LOS (Line of Sight) condition. Distance range of NRF24L01 can also affected the delay and throughput in data transmission process. The availability and reliability of the system are 98.276% and 98.264%.

Abstract

LTE Release 13 memungkinkan pengguna anspektrum frekuensi unlicensed yang disebut dengan Licensed-Assisted Access(LAA).PadaLTE-LAA,spektrumlicensed LTEdigunakansebagaiprimarycelluntukmembawainformasi serta mengangkut tra?k data. Untuk secondary cell, spektrum unlicensed 5 GHz digunakan, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas, serta pembagian spektrum secara adil. Penelitian ini menganalisa penggunaan mekanisme Listen Before Talk (LBT)padaLTE-LAAsebagaimekanismeuntukmenghasilkankoeksistensiantara LTE-LAA dan Wi-Fi. Hasil simulasi skenario 1 menghasilkan indeks fairness throughput 64 pengguna untuk FTP over UDP pada skenario 1 sebesar 0.998, skenario 2 sebesar 0.857 dan skenario 3 sebesar 0.997. Sedangkan untuk FTP over TCP pada skenario 1 sebesar 0.779, skenario 2 sebesar 0.639 dan skenario 3 sebesar 0.741.

Abstract

Human activity recognition (HAR) is a research field that focuses on detecting user activities and has wide applications. However, the problems that need to be solved are real-time constraints and imbalanced datasets due to different activity frequencies. Our research aims to apply classification integrated moving averages (CIMA) to HAR by evaluating its performance regarding real-time constraints and imbalanced datasets. We achieved the smartphone accelerometer dataset from Kaggle, which consists of several activities: walking, jogging, climbing, and descending stairs. We develop a general CIMA windowing algorithm with hyperparameters J and W. We benchmark CIMA with two state-of-the-art HAR methods: distributed online activity recognition system (DOLARS) and convolutional neural network (CNN). We conducted some imbalance and model size analysis. The test results show that, with J = 10 and W = 240, CIMA performs better than DOLARS and CIMA with recall, precision, and f1-score of 0.996, 0.993, and 0.994. We also prove that CIMA, assisted by quantization, has the smallest model size compared to the CNN and DOLARS model sizes. Finally, we demonstrate that CIMA performs well for imbalanced datasets, where CIMA’s recall on upstairs and downstairs activities is better than DOLARS and CNN, with values of 1.00 and 0.98, respectively.
