Abstract

Descriptive qualitative design is used in this study to describe the understanding of students and teachers in schools about bullying, as well as the construction of bullying prevention ideas through bullying awareness card learning media. The location of the study was in Dumai, by interviewing several students and teachers in schools. The results of the study showed that (1) students and teachers have diverse understandings and perspectives on bullying; (2) the absence of learning media that supports the campaign and socialization of bullying behavior in schools so far. Preventive steps can be taken through bullying awareness card learning media which is a card game media that contains material on the concept, how to prevent and handle bullying in schools. This study recommends that schools use bullying awareness card learning media in integrated subjects with character education such as citizenship education, guidance and counseling and religious education. This is intended to develop students' civic virtue so that they become tolerant and compassionate citizens in diversity.

Abstract

The importance of intercultural education in vocational education motivates this study. This study aims to give a "rationalization" of the relevance of optimizing education, particularly civic education courses, as a kind of intercultural learning. This study employs a qualitative approach combined with descriptive methodologies. Study topic requirements do this and acquire in-depth information that incorporates social reality, and the findings will be conveyed subsequently in the form of reports and narrative descriptions. The study's findings show that the application of multicultural education in citizenship education courses at the Sorong Shipping Polytechnic can be seen in three major parts of the learning process: planning as seen from the lesson plan created independently by the lecturer, implementation of the material presented, and methods. Evaluation criteria for assessing learning outcomes that incorporate the weight of attitude assessment throughout the learning process are utilized. The cadets' concept of multiculturalism may be demonstrated via three multicultural components: their understanding of diversity awareness, openness to differences, and fair and equitable treatment.

Abstract

The prevalence of bullying, a serious issue in primary and secondary schools, underscores the need for effective prevention strategies. This study aims to develop a human rights education model to address this concern. The primary objective is to design a comprehensive human rights education model tailored for school environments. This model aims to prevent bullying behavior by fostering a culture of respect and empathy among students. A literature review methodology was employed to analyze existing problems related to bullying and identify potential solutions. Theoretical frameworks and empirical research findings were utilized to develop the proposed human rights education model. The results of this research suggest the development of prevention strategies and the creation of a pocketbook containing human rights education materials accessible to students. Additionally, it suggests the use of engaging learning media to facilitate a better understanding of human rights concepts, which are often abstract and challenging to grasp through traditional teaching methods. The human rights education model presented in this study is adaptable for both primary and secondary education. It emphasizes the importance of early intervention to prevent bullying from becoming entrenched in school cultures. By targeting students' moral and cognitive development, this model aims to break the cycle of victimhood and aggression associated with bullying. This study contributes to the field of education by proposing a practical and holistic approach to addressing bullying in schools. Abstract

This study aims to analyze Pancasila education in the Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong. The study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive format. Data collection is accomplished by observation, analysis, and documentation. The findings indicate that the effectiveness of Pancasila education at Politeknik Pelayaran Sorong is achieved through interactive and holistic teaching that integrates theory and practice through systematic and structured learning processes, such as the lesson plan (RPS), the use of effective learning methods, and comprehensive teaching methods, such as lectures, discussion, and case studies. It ensures that students fully internalize Pancasila values and contributes to character development. This method not only assists them in understanding the theoretical aspects of Pancasila, but it also helps them to apply them in their daily lives. This learning process is effective because it incorporates fundamental principles such as integrity, empathy, critical thinking, communication skills, and collaboration. As a result, Taruna has an excellent personality and is willing to face challenges with inclusive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas pelaksanaan Toolbox Meeting (TBM) dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan keselamatan kerja di PT Dok Pendingin Samarinda. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TBM berperan dalam meningkatkan komunikasi, pemahaman bahaya, dan kepatuhan penggunaan APD, meskipun partisipasi dan disiplin pekerja masih rendah. Kendala yang ditemukan meliputi minimnya partisipasi aktif, lemahnya pengawasan, dan ketidakkonsistenan penerapan prosedur. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas TBM, disarankan penggunaan metode interaktif, media visual, aplikasi digital, serta penguatan komitmen manajemen melalui pengawasan, reward, dan sanksi. TBM berpotensi menjadi instrumen penting dalam membangun budaya keselamatan dan mendukung target Zero Accident.

Abstract

Abstrak: program kampus mengajar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas literasi numerasi di persekolahan yang cenderung masih rendah, dibuktikan dari kurangnya minat baca dan kunjungan ke perpustakaan hingga pengelolaan fasilitas literasi yang belum memadai. Literasi-numerasi dilakukan dengan berbagai kegiatan harian. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan yakni edukasi, sosialisasi dan pembiasaan. Mitra dari pengabdian ini adalah sekolah dasar 011 Desa Baru Kabupaten Kampar, Riau, yang terdiri dari 1145 orang peserta didik dan 63 orang guru ditambah tenaga kependidikan. Adapun kegiatan dari pengabdian ini diantaranya literasi kelas, mading, pembuatan poster, penataan perpustakaan, penanaman toga serta pembuatan media numerasi. Edukasi dan pembiasaan ini cukup berdampak yang terlihat dari hasil pre test AKM numerasi yakni 66 dan mengalami kenaikan pada angka 71 saat post test AKM. Direkomendasikan agar kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh tim pengabdi kampus mengajar terus dilanjutkan oleh mitra untuk perbaikan literasi numerasi siswa kedepannya.Abstract: The campus teaching program aims to improve the quality of numeracy literacy in schools which tends to be low, as evidenced by the lack of interest in reading and visits to the library to the management of inadequate literacy facilities. Numeracy literacy is carried out through various daily activities. The community service methods used are education, socialization and habituation. The partner of this community service is elementary school 011 Desa Baru, Kampar Regency, Riau, which consists of 1145 students and 63 teachers plus education staff. The activities of this community service include classroom literacy, wall magazines, poster making, library arrangement, planting toga and making numeracy media. This education and habituation have had quite an impact as seen from the results of the AKM numeracy pre-test, which was 66 and increased to 71 during the AKM post-test. It is recommended that the activities carried out by the campus teaching community service team continue to be continued by partners to improve students' numeracy literacy in the future.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai posisi dan model Pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai sarana infiltrasi nilai-nilai kebhinnekaan dalam menjaga persatuan Indonesia. Artikel ini menggunakan metode literature review dalam mengalisis masalah dan berupa mengemukakan upaya mengatasinya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelusuran sejumlah literature baik buku, berita di media massa maupun hasil penelitian terkait. Temuan penelitian menemukan bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara majemuk terdiri dari keberagaman dari segi Bahasa, agama, suku, budaya yang tentu mempengaruhi cara pandang, pola pikir, dan perilakunya. Jika tidak disikapi dengan baik maka akan mudah memantik konflik sosial. Oleh karena itu diperlukan Pendidikan kewarganegaraan dari segi Solusi edukasi kepada Masyarakat sejak dini sedari di bangku persekolahan untuk mengenal dan menghargai perbedaan yang ada. Kesadaran akan keberagaman perlu ditekankan sejak dini untuk menghindari sentiment primordial dan sukuisme. Model Pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai sarana infiltrasi nilai-nilai kebhinnekaan terdiri dari strategi, materi dan media yang diharpakan dapat memupuk rasa persatuan di Tengah perbedaan yang terbentang di Masyarakat.   This article aims to describe the position and model of citizenship education as a means of infiltrating the values ​​of diversity in maintaining the unity of Indonesia. This article uses the literature review method to analyze problems and propose efforts to overcome them. Data collection was carried out through searching a number of literature, including books, news in the mass media and related research results. The research findings found that Indonesia is a pluralistic country consisting of diversity in terms of language, religion, ethnicity, culture which of course influences perspectives, thought patterns and behavior. If it is not handled well, it will easily trigger social conflict. Therefore, citizenship education is needed in terms of educational solutions for the community from an early age from school to recognize and appreciate existing differences. Awareness of diversity needs to be emphasized from an early age to avoid primordial sentiment and tribalism. The citizenship education model as a means of infiltrating the values ​​of diversity consists of strategies, materials and media which are expected to foster a sense of unity amidst the differences that exist in society.
