Abstract

Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) has been a growing topic since 1983 in the Scopus database. The importance of SRL has been known through several studies because it is proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes, both at school and in life. The purpose of this study is to determine the trend of topics in the field, through bibliometric analysis with the help of the VOSViewer application. Findings reveal that there is still little discussion on the topic of SLR in mathematics learning. The journal that can be used as a reference is the International Journal of Science and Mathematics Education, which the latest topics related to Learning Systems and Education. Suggestions for further research are to make technology-based learning models using the latest theories and research results and evaluate the results achieved for improving students’ learning outcomes in mathematics and in life.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the growth of online evaluation to give a comprehensive overview and identify research in the trending field and recommendations for further research that can be developed. This study used a bibliometric approach with descriptive methods from documents in the last ten years of the Scopus database. Quantitative and qualitative analyses were performed using data collected from numerous scientific reference sources to determine development trends, the most popular subjects, and the contributions of eminent scholars. The analysis’s findings indicated that student evaluations of courses and teachers were the most commonly discussed subjects. However, in subsequent years, interest had changed to e-learning, higher education, assessment, and evaluation. Recent scientific articles further emphasized the significant impact Covid-19 had had on altering the evaluation process, placing particular attention on online learning. With the advancement of research on artificial intelligence in education, this study also outlined prospects and challenges in online evaluation research. We found thirteen publications covering Chat GPT for educational purposes by obtaining data from articles published in the most recent year in the Scopus database. This study offered a comprehensive view of the evolution of online evaluation through a bibliometric method, covered pertinent topics, and provided a basis for academics to carry out the most recent research in this area.

Abstract

Pelatihan pengenalan tes skolastik ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada calon mahasiswa mengenai tes skolastik, yang mulai diterapkan sebagai tes Seleksi Nasional Berbasis Test (SNBT) di tahun 2023. Pada pelatihan ini, dengan metode ceramah dan latihan soal serta evaluasi, peserta didik mulai mengenal tes skolastik, dan mengetahui teknik pengerjaannya, sehingga diharapkan dapat memperbanyak latihan di rumah dengan modal pemahaman pada saat pelatihan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara daring dan luring. Terdapat 2 kelompok sasaran, dengan waktu pelaksanaan tatap muka 4 jam, dan diikuti dengan pertemuan asynchronous. Digunakannya Learning Management System (LMS) berbasis Moodle membuat pelatihan lebih disukai peserta, sehingga rata-rata angket terhadap 7 pertanyaan memberikan nilai di atas 4.5 untuk skala 1-5. Kesimpulan yang didapat dengan menggunakan tes skolastik berbasis LMS, peserta lebih mengetahui kemampuan diri yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil dari assignment dari LMS dan jurusan di perguruan tinggi yang lebih sesuai. LMS memberikan kemudahan belajar bagi peserta didik dari generasi teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to establish a foundation for the development of differentiated learning through an analysis of trends in articles related to personality type differences in the field of mathematics education. The research method used was descriptive, using Bibliometric Analysis. These 422 data from Scopus have been from Scopus-indexed journals and were obtained by defining search keywords, namely "individual differences." These articles were then filtered based on the highest citation, resulting in 100 articles that were analyzed using Vos Viewer and Microsoft Excel to display the necessary data for analysis. The results of this study indicated that from many articles that had been analyzed, individual differences have a wide meaning, it could be gender, characteristics, thinking process, fear, attitude, and others. Those differences should be taken into consideration by the teacher and cannot be neglected because they can influence the learners. From the data that has been analyzed, the topic above has been increasing after 2017 with the United States and the United Kingdom as the most recent country that published this topic. Cognition is the journal that has the most publications on this topic, with Engle, R. W. as the most productive writer. The most trending article was about Mathematics in general, mathematics concepts, and the phenomena in teaching and learning math. The next piece of advice is about the development of the individual learning model, its evaluation, and its utilization in creating a differentiated learning model.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a model that can meet the needs of Differentiated Learning based on AI. This method used research and development (R&D) with the Generic Desain Research Model (GDRM). The subject of this study was mathematics education experts and mathematics learning model experts. Instruments used in this study include quality validity assessment and feasibility assessment analysis. The data analysis techniques used were quantitative methods with learning model validity assessment criteria that use A Linkert Scale of 1-4. The test results of the AI-based Mathematics learning model show that (1) the Content Validity test resulted in an average of 3.47 which means the model is very valid, and (2) The average feasibility test is 3.43, which means it is also very valid. The results showed that the AI-based Mathematics learning model can be implemented in differentiated mathematics classes and train students to learn independently, think critically, provide solutions to problems, and have the courage to convey solutions.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic period has changed the learning system, including the presence of online learning. Literature reviews from various sources state that the Flipped Learning model is an alternative model for planned online learning. Even so, the Flipped Learning model cannot be implemented directly, but it must be adapted to the conditions where students learn. The development of the Flipped Learning model in this study is supported by a Moodle-based e-learning campus, which is called MyBrilian, through the following syntax: (1) Introduction, (2) Exploration, (3) Study, (4) Exposure, and (5) Assessment. This study involved 66 students of Information System study program of Universitas Dinamika who took Basic Mathematics courses. The instrument used is the Lesson Plans, Student Learning Materials and Test Instruments. Data analysis through statistical descriptive and qualitative descriptive techniques. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the learning is classified into increased knowledge on a high scale, namely N-Gain of 0.7, and based on student response questionnaire, it shows satisfactory results in each syntax. The conclusion is that the flipped learning model can be adopted as an implementation of planned online learning, by adjusting to local learning conditions and with the support of technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) melalui pembudayaan belajar dengan pendekatan blended learning dengan menerapkan model Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) dan aplikasi MoLearn. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada Generic Design Research Model (GDRM) dari Plomp dan Nieveen. Untuk pengembangan aplikasi MoLearn metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model waterfall digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini meibatkan 205 siswa sebagai subjek penelitiaan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument lembar validasi model, angket resposn siswa, dan tes HOTs siswa. Penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan persamaan reliabilitas dan n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) model BWML dengan aplikasi MoLearn dinyatakan valid dan reliable berdasarkan tinjauan content dan isi, selain itu, berdasarkan hasil respon 205 siswa terhadap pembelajaran model BWML dengan aplikasi MoLearn, 83% siswa dinyatakan antusias mengikuti pembelajaran; dan (2) peningkatan HOTs siswa dinyatakan meningkat (rerata n-gain= 0,46) dengan kategori sedang. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) dengan aplikasi MoLearn valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa SMA. The Development of the Blended Web Mobile Learning Model with the MoLearn Application to Improve High School Students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills Abstract This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of high school students based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) through the culture of learning with a blended learning approach by applying the Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) model and the MoLearn application. This research is a development research that refers to the Generic Design Research Model (GDRM) from Plomp and Nieveen. For the development of the MoLearn application, the Waterfall Model System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method was used in this study. This study involved 205 students as research subjects. The research data were collected using a model validation sheet instrument, student response questionnaires, and student HOTs tests. The research was analyzed descriptively using the reliability equation and n-gain. The results showed that (1) the BWML model with the MoLearn application was declared valid and reliable based on the content and content review, in addition, based on the results of the responses of 205 students to the BWML model learning with the MoLearn application, 83% of the students were stated to be enthusiastic about participating in the learning; and (2) the increase in students' HOTs was stated to be increasing (mean n-gain = 0.46) in the medium category. The results of this study conclude that the Blended Web Mobile Learning (BWML) model with the MoLearn application is valid, practical, and effective for improving high school students’ higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

Scientific learning is a learning process that leads students to a science-based learning experience. Scientific learning implements specific methods for students to discover concepts and theories. This research was intended to develop a hybrid learning model which can be implemented for scientific learning. This was a research and development which aimed to develop a suitable learning model to be implemented in Moodle-based LMS named Brilian. Scientific Hybrid Learning (SHL) model tests were conducted in terms of validity and practicality. The results showed (1) that the score for the content validity test on average was 3.71 statistic rα = 0.25 and α = 0.81, the construct validity score on average was 3.82 statistic rα = 0.20 and α = 0.75. (2). The practical validity test score on average was 3.63 statistic rα = 0.91 and α = 0.99. The conclusion is that the SHL model is qualified in terms of the validity of contents and constructs and practicality for students. The research implied that a good SHL model can be implemented to increase students learning outcomes based on science. The continuation of this research can focus on monitoring the SHL model's effectiveness in improving students' learning outcomes on science-based subjects.

Abstract

Guru tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai materi pembelajaran, tetapi juga mengembangkan pendekatan yang fleksibel serta kreatif dalam mengajar dan menghasilkan konten digital untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran di kelas. Diperlukan pelatihan penyusunan konten digital yang kreatif bagi guru sebagai bekal untuk mempersiapkan pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru dengan kemampuan menyusun konten digital yang kreatif untuk Learning Management System (LMS). Konten digital memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan interaksi dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pembelajaran. Jenis-jenis konten digital mencakup statik (e-book, blog, komik, infografik, gambar, poster), audio & motion (video, animasi, GIF, podcast), serta interaktif (quiz/games, chat, forum). Artikel ini menyajikan pelaksanaan pelatihan yang meliputi tahap persiapan (peserta melakukan pendaftaran, pelaksana menyiapkan segala sesuatu yang dibutuhkan), pelaksanaan (penampaian materi dan penugasan mandiri), dan evaluasi (mengukur hasil pelaksanaan program). Hasil dari pelaksanaan pelatihan ini efektif yang ditunjukkan dengan dari hasil penilaian peserta bawa pelatihan menambah peningkatan wawasan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menciptakan konten digital yang beragam diangka 3,9 dari skala 1 sampai 4. Pada bagian akhir, rekomendasi diberikan untuk keberlanjutan program ini. Enhancing Teachers' Competence in Developing Creative Digital Content for Learning Management Systems (LMS) Abstract Teachers are required not only to master the subject matter but also to develop flexible and creative approaches in teaching and producing digital content to support classroom learning. There is a need for training in the creation of creative digital content to equip teachers with the skills necessary to prepare engaging learning materials. This training aims to provide teachers with the ability to create innovative digital content for Learning Management Systems (LMS). Digital content plays a crucial role in enhancing student interaction and comprehension of learning materials. The types of digital content include static content (e-books, blogs, comics, infographics, images, posters), audio & motion content (videos, animations, GIFs, podcasts), and interactive content (quizzes/games, chats, forums). This article presents the implementation of the training program, which includes the preparation, execution, and evaluation stages. The results indicate that the training was effective in improving teachers' competence in creating a diverse range of digital content. Finally, recommendations are provided for the sustainability of this program.

Abstract

Industri game kompetitif seperti Valorant menghadapi tantangan dalam mempertahankan pemain akibat berbagai faktor, termasuk toksisitas dalam komunitas, sistem matchmaking yang dirasa tidak adil, serta perkembangan keterampilan pemain yang tidak optimal. Toksisitas yang tinggi dapat mendorong pemain untuk berhenti bermain (churn), sementara ketidakadilan dalam matchmaking dapat menghambat perkembangan skill dan mengurangi kepuasan bermain. Jika tidak ditangani dengan baik, masalah ini dapat berdampak pada menurunnya loyalitas pemain dan keberlanjutan komunitas game. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendekatan berbasis data untuk memahami faktor-faktor ini secara lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dashboard analitik berbasis data yang dapat membantu pengembang game dalam mengoptimalkan keputusan berbasis analisis. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei terhadap 52 pemain Valorant, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Korelasi Pearson dan Regresi Linear Sederhana untuk menguji hubungan antara tingkat toksisitas dan churn, serta persepsi keadilan matchmaking terhadap perkembangan keterampilan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa toksisitas memiliki hubungan positif signifikan dengan churn (r = 0.3668, p < 0.05), sementara matchmaking fairness berhubungan positif dengan perkembangan skill pemain (r = 0.2982, p < 0.05), meskipun korelasinya tergolong lemah. Dashboard yang dikembangkan menyajikan visualisasi data dalam bentuk pie chart, bar chart, dan pivot table heatmap untuk memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam mengenai faktor-faktor tersebut. Evaluasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa dashboard ini dapat menjadi alat bantu yang efektif dalam analisis data bagi pengembang game Valorant. Dengan memanfaatkan dashboard ini, pengembang dapat mengurangi toksisitas, meningkatkan keadilan matchmaking, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan berbasis data guna menciptakan pengalaman bermain yang lebih baik.
