Abstract

Evaluation of service performance is something that needs to be done regularly in order to improve its quality. This research is intended to measure the level of satisfaction or expectations of lecturers and users by using ten service elements as measurement items, with a sample of 80 respondents in XyZ University. To meet the feasibility of the instrument, validity and reliability tests were carried out. The analysis technique was quantitative descriptive through the Index and Importance Performance analysis. The results showed that the level of lecturer satisfaction was in the category of good satisfaction with high expectations, several service elements that needed attention and improvement were; elements of funding sources, providing research facilities and community service proportionally according to needs and achieving service promises in accordance with the research and community service strategic plans that have been proclaimed. Abstract

This research intends to know and analyze the incentive and work discipline of its effect on employee job satisfaction in Pajarakan Sub-district, Probolinggo. the type of explanatory research is to find the influence or causal relationship between variables, the population of all employees in Pajarakan sub district with the technique of purposive sampling using inclusion criteria is permanent employees and those who are willing to be respondents as much as 20 people, the analysis of multiple linear regression with F test and t test as hypothesis test .The result of the study describes the incentive and work discipline has simultaneous influence to job satisfaction, and partially incentive variable has a significant and dominant influence on job satisfaction variable while work discipline variable partially have a positive but not significant influence on the variable of job satisfaction indicates the application of work discipline needs sufficient understanding and awareness. Performance indicators have the lowest correlation to incentives so that performance improvement should receive management attention and compliance indicator on the lowest correlate working standard to the work discipline so that management need to increase the attention and awareness in increasing the compliance to the standard work in fulfilling job satisfaction of employees in Pajarakan Sub-district Probolinggo.

Abstract

Banyaknya sampah yang berserakan telah menjadi ide dasar dalam pengabdian ini. Secara terminologi sampah tersebut dibagi menjadi sampah organik maupun sampah anorganik. Sampah dapat menyebabkan berbagai macam masalah, diantaranya menyebabkan lingkungan menjadi kotor, menyebabkan bencana banjir apabila menyumbat aliran sungai, bahkan bisa mencemari lingkungan dengan bau yang ditimbulkan. Oleh karena itu, muncullah gagasan untuk mengorganisir sampah hasil pembuangan rumah tangga, toko, maupun industri. Mengorganisir sampah organik amatlah mudah karena sifatnya yang mudah terurai. Namun, hal tersebut tidak berlaku dengan sampah anorganik. Sampah anorganik tidak bisa diuraikan, oleh karena itu diperlukan teknik khusus untuk menanganinya. Tempat tinggal mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah di desa Blado Kulon kecamatan Tegal Siwalan kabupaten Probolinggo. Mitra sehari-hari membuka usaha mebel yang bahan dasarnya dari kayu. Namun pengusaha merasa kesulitan menemukan ciri khas dari mebel buatannya yang membedakan dari mebel-mebel lainnya. Disisi lain pengusaha juga tidak mampu memasarkan produknya secara optimal. Hal ini dikarenakan selain tidak memiliki ciri khas, koneksi dengan orang banyak juga tidak dimiliki pengusaha dalam memasarkan produknya. Berkaca terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra dan demi menjaga lingkungan tetap bersih dari sampah khususnya sampah anorganik, maka pengabdian ini di fokuskan pada pemanfaatan sampah anorganik untuk menunjang usaha mebel anti rayap, bakteri dan jamur. Teknik yang dilakukan adalah mengumpulkan sampah anorganik, mengeringkannya dan kemudian membakarnya di tungku pembakaran yang telah disiapkan. Selanjutnya asap hasil pembakaran disimpan dengan alat penyimpan asap untuk kemudian asap di berikan kepada kayu bahan pembuat mebel. Teknik ini menurut beberapa penelitian dapat membuat mebel tahan rayap, bakteri, dan jamur. Setelah produk dihasilkan maka pengusaha dibantu dengan teknik pemasaran online (e-commerce). Hal ini bertujuan agar mempermudah pengusaha memasarkan produknya dalam jangkauan yang luas.

Abstract

Abaca banana trees thrive in the Talaud Islands, North Sulawesi Province, which is the outermost archipelago and is close to the Philippines. In this community service, socialization and training have been held on the processing of Abaca banana trees using a shaved machine (decorticator) into Abaca fiber. The decorticator machine made itself to be taken to the Talaud Islands for training for the people of South Essang District. Socialization to the leaders of Indigenous Peoples and Government expressed their supportive attitude by holding this socialization. And next is the fiber making training that is attended by some people of South Essang District, people can do fiber making and the results after the drying process are in accordance with the quality with a moisture content of less than 30%. Furthermore, will to the use of Abaca fiber will be studied further.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by a lack of nutritional intake for a long time, resulting in growth problems in children, namely the child's height is lower or shorter (stunted) than the standard age. In addition to nutritional factors, stunting is caused by a lack of public knowledge, especially mothers who have babies and toddlers about stunting. The implementation method in the community service program is through providing counseling on stunting to mothers who have babies and toddlers in Brumbungan Lor Village, Gending District, Probolinggo Regency. The population in this study were mothers in Brumbungan Lor village who had babies and toddlers. The purpose of this counseling is to provide information about "The importance of parenting for children to improve nutrition in preventing stunting". Abstract

Wabah Covid-19 penyakit disebabkan oleh virus corona, menyerang pada saluran pernafasan. Gejala adalah demam, panas, dan batuk kering. Penularan dari orang ke orang lain, agar tidak menyebar perlu adanya pencegahan. Oleh karena itu pelaksaan Pemilihan Kepala Daerah serentak di beberapa daerah perlu menghindari kampanye terbuka. Bentuk partisipasi yang dilakukan oleh warga masyarakat yaitu mendukung kebijakan pemerintah, menghindari kerumunan orang yang berlebihan. Abstract

The research was conducted on MSME actors in Probolinggo City with the aim of knowing the factors that support their business resistance and helping provide input for solving what was experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses quantitative associative analysis method with product quality, digital marketing as the independent variable and brand equity, income as the dependent variable. The sampling technique used a purposive sample with a total sample of 99 SMEs in Probolinggo City which came from the calculation of the slovin formula with of 10%. The results of the study indicate that there is a positive and partially significant effect for product quality and digital marketing variables on brand equity and income. Research also shows a relationship between brand equity and income variables. The correlation test shows that there is a relationship between brand equity and income, the higher the brand equity, the higher the income and vice versa. This result is an effort by researchers to provide input to MSME actors to survive and increase their income in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic by improving product quality and switching to digital sales.

Abstract

Service organizations are required to always optimize the resources to be managed in order to increase customer satisfaction, this study intends to analyze the effect of facilities (direct facilities and supporting facilities) health services and work environment (direct work environment and working environment conditions or weather) health services on customer satisfaction. Retrieval of data with a survey method of 500 respondents of health service users at the Community Health Center in Probolinggo District, with quantitative data methods were analyzed by t test in regression. The results of the study have shown that direct work facilities and supporting facilities as well as the direct work environment of health services have made a positive contribution to customer satisfaction, while the work environment related to environmental conditions or weather as measured by indicators of noise, air pollution, and lighting at the service has not yet fully contributed to customer satisfaction, so the work environment related to weather conditions needs to get attention or solutions to improve services to meet customer satisfaction, and this needs to pay attention to the location of the Community Health Center services in Probolinggo Regency, which is close to the highway.

Abstract

Poverty is a situation where humans cannot achieve their basic requirements. This has become a standard problem experienced by every country. The research object aims to find the potential causes of poverty in the Probolinggo by examining the effect of the potential for education, unemployment, and inflation simultaneously, partially and dominantly, on poverty. The study used a quantitative method of causal relationships, 391 RTM respondents with cluster sampling technique sampling. The data analysis method used a validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and determination coefficient analysis. The conclusion from the hypothesis testing in this research is the variables of education, unemployment, and inflation have a significant and partial effect on poverty in Probolinggo City, while the most dominant potential effect on poverty is education. The result of the determination coefficient analysis is 71.9%. The causes of poverty in the city of Probolinggo are education, unemployment, and inflation. From the research results, the local government should continue to motivate and make people aware of the importance of education, improve skills as a means of overcoming unemployment, increase economic growth so the inflation can be suppressed, and the problem of poverty is resolved.

Abstract

Performance is a job target, this research aim to find the contribution or effect of competence and job satisfaction through organizational commitment to performance with a sample of 83 employees of PDAM Kota Probolinggo, using path analysis with multiple linear regression with the amos application, giving the results that: competence and job satisfaction are not significant effect on organizational commitment, thus organizational commitment is not able to mediate employee competence and job satisfaction on employee performance results, and job satisfaction also does not significantly affect performance, only employee competence has a significant effect on employee performance, Componnents that need attention are motives, systems supervision, system operational procedures, co-workers and satisfaction with salaries
