Abstract

Background Problems: Motivation and academic learning time are the most important factors for students to achieve their learning goals. Research Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of the TGfU learning model on students' motivation and academic learning time (ALT). Methods: This type of research used the experimental method by using a control class and an experimental class, with research design using a randomised control group pre-test and post-test. The population of this study consisted of vocational high school students who took physical education subjects. The sample was randomly selected with a total of 68 students from 2 classes, with 34 students per class. The experimental (treatment) class used the TGfU learning model with student-centred approaches, strategies, and games. Meanwhile, the control class used the cooperative model, and the approach used was the student-centred approach. The research instruments were pre-test and post-test questionnaire instruments to measure students' learning motivation and systematic observation through duration recording techniques using observation sheets by paying attention to four categories of activities in physical education learning, namely management (M), learning activities (A), instructional (I), and waiting (W). The pre-test and post-test data analysis techniques were analysed using a homogeneity test, a normality test, and a Mann-Whitney test using SPSS version 25. Finding/Result: This study showed significant differences between the control and experimental classes in learning motivation, particularly in intrinsic motivation, identified regulation, and amotivation, with the TGfU approach exerting a significant effect. However, there was no significant difference between the Introjected Regulation and External Regulation categories. In addition, TGfU also improved academic learning time (ALT) and engagement in learning activities (A), but the control class was superior in waiting (W). Conclusion: These findings suggest that TGfU encourages students' active participation and extends overall learning time. Future research could investigate this by using in-depth interviews to elaborate on the factors underlying motivation and student participation through the implementation of TGfU models.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas merupakan kebijakan pemerintah yang perlu didukung dan dipersiapkan dengan baik. Guru perlu memilih strategi yang tepat agar pembelajaran dari rumah bisa dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien. Flipped classroom diyakini sebagai salah satu model yang bisa meningkatkan partisipasi dan capaian belajar siswa. Namun tidak banyak guru penjas yang mengetahui adanya model tersebut. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan sebanyak 87% guru penjas yang belum mengetahui dan memahami model flipped classroom. Pelatihan ini menggunakan 4 tahapan metode yaitu ceramah, penugasan, pengukuran hasil, dan Tindak lanjut hasil. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran pemahaman terhadap pelatihan didapatkan hasil bahwa ada perubahan pemahaman dari skor rata-rata 52 menjadi 71. Sedangkan tanggapan peserta untuk evaluasi pelaksanaan pelatihan sangat baik dan antusias. Peserta juga memberikan masukan terkait pelatihan tindkalanjut secara luring dan melakukan praktik pembelajaran di lapangan. Melalui pengabdian ini juga dapat diwujudkan luaran berupa produk modul pedoman pembelajarn penjas di tingkat SMP. Produk tersebut diharapkan dapat membantu guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran masing-masing. Kata kunci— pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas, flipped classroom, pendidikan jasmani  Abstract  Limited Face-to-face Learning is a government policy that needs to be supported and well prepared. Teachers need to choose the right strategy so that learning from home can be done effectively and efficiently. The flipped classroom learning is believed to be one of the models that can increase student participation and learning achievement. However, not many PE teachers are aware of this model. Based on a preliminary study, as many as 87% of PE teachers did not know and understand the flipped classroom model. This training uses a 4-step method, namely lectures, assignments, measuring results, and following up on results. Based on assesment of understanding of the themes, it was rseulted that there was a increase in understanding from an average score of 52 to 71. Meanwhile, the participant's responses to the evaluation of the training were very good and enthusiastic. Participants also provide input related to offline follow-up training and practice learning in the field. Through this service, outputs can also be realized in the form of physical education learning guide module products at the junior high school level. The product is expected to help teachers in the implementation of their respective learning. Keywords— Limited Face-to-face Learning, flipped classroom, physical education

Abstract

Sports event management is very important to support the successful implementation of sporting events. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of the 2022 POMNAS XVII badminton competition in Padang, West Sumatra. The population of this study was badminton athletes with a total of 169 consisting of 95 boys and 74 girls. The sampling technique in this study used incidental sampling with a population of 63 athletes. Data collection techniques in this study used closed questionnaires. Data analysis used is descriptive quantitative analysis in which the data processing is presented in percentages. The results of the data analysis show that the percentage of services in the field of competition is 71.59%, services in the health/medical sector are 74.60%, services in the security sector are 71.74%. The results of this study indicate that the average service in this study is included in the good category but needs to be improved for several aspects of the field service.

Abstract

Kebugaran jasmani sangat penting bagi siswa karena kebugaran jasmani yang baik dapat menunjang pembelajaran siswa di Sekolah. Menurut hasil wawancara yang dilakukan kepada guru PJOK yang ada di SDN Padangan 1 yaitu belum adanya guru ataupun penelitian yang melaksanakan tes kebugaran jasmani di sekolah tersebut. Dengan belum diketahuinya tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa di sekolah tersebut dan lokasi yang mudah dijangkau oleh peneliti menjadi latar belakang utama peneliti melakukan penelitian tingkat dasar yaitu survei tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa di SDN Padangan 1 Kecamatan Kayen Kidul Kabupaten Kediri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan survei dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Serta instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes yaitu tes kebugaran jasmani Indonesia pada usia 10-12 tahun dengan sampel berjumlah 91 siswa. Hasil penelitian didapatkan persentase terbesar siswa memiliki tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada kategori kurang dengan frekuensi laki-laki 29 siswa dan perempuan 19 siswa dengan persentase 47,54% dan 63,33%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the validity level of the student guidebook for Physical Education learning with the flipped classroom model of volleyball overhead pass material class XI MAN 1 Malang. The type of research used is research and development by adapting the ADDIE development model by Branch, which consists of 5 stages of development include Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive quantitative with data collection instruments using questionnaires. The research subjects were 48 students and 2 physical education teachers at MAN 1 Malang. The Student Handbook has been validated by media experts, learning experts, and material experts. The results of the large group trial showed a percentage value of 93%. This student guidebook product can be concluded to be valid and suitable for use in physical education learning at MAN 1 Malang. With this student guidebook, it is hoped that it can provide convenience for grade XI students at MAN 1 Malang in carrying out learning volleyball overhead passing using the flipped classroom model.

Abstract

Motivation in physical education learning is essential for achieving educational goals. In achieving this, there is also a barrier that can hinder achieving an educational goal. There have been many studies about this in public schools. However, boarding schools still need to be done considering the different characteristics of students between public school students and boarding schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the motivation and barriers of high school students in physical education learning from the perspective of boarding school students at Modern High School Al-Rifa'ie Gondanglegi. The technique used is a survey with quantitative descriptive methods. The number of samples is 215 students divided into classes X, XI, and XII, the distribution of samples using simple random sampling. The test instrument used a questionnaire. The results of data analysis of student motivation and barriers show the level of student motivation with the highest percentage of intrinsic motivation at 25% and the lowest percentage of motivation at 14%. As for student barriers, the highest percentage result is external barriers at 56%, and the lowest percentage is internal barriers at 44%. In conclusion, of the five motivation categories that have been researched, intrinsic motivation obtained the most dominant results compared to other motivation categories. As for student barriers, it can be concluded that of the two factors that have been studied, external barriers obtain more dominant results than internal barriers.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru pendidikan jasmani dalam merancang permainan dan olahraga untuk pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ceramah melalui aplikasi zoom/google meet, penugasan, pengukuran hasil, dan tindak lanjut hasil. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh dari Pretest menunjukkan nilai persentase sebanyak 55,5% dan hasil analisis data Posttest menunjukkan nilai persentase sebanyak 77,2%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hasil dari pelatihan ini guru pendidikan jasmani, olahraga dan kesehatan terjadi perubahan setelah diberi pelatihan dalam merancang suatu permainan. Sehingga pengabdian ini efektif dan dapat mencapai tujuan yang telah diharapkan dalam kegiatan ini.

Abstract

At SMA Laboratory UM and SMA Negeri 8 Malang, they have won various achievements in basketball. However, the level of motivation possessed by basketball extracurricular participants on PJOK learning outcomes is unknown. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of extrinsic and intrinsic motivation of male participants in participating in extracurricular activities at SMA Laboratory UM and SMA Negeri 8 Malang. In this study using quantitative descriptive, with a questionnaire survey. The population in this study was male basketball extracurricular participants at Laboratory High School UM 30 participants and SMA 8 Negeri Malang totaling 15 participants. The results of the analysis of motivational data on PJOK learning outcomes from Laboratory High School get coefficient of 0.520 is strong category, so that there is a strong relationship between motivation and PJOK learning outcomes. From the results of the analysis of motivational data on PJOK learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 8 Malang, the coefficient results were 0.820, a very strong category.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the lack of understanding of motor skills in children with disabilities. This study aims to evaluate and understand the level of gross motor skills of students with tunagrahita in SLBN C Pembina Malang Regency. The method used was a quantitative descriptive survey, with purposive sampling of the sample that considered the criteria of student age between 6 to 10 years. To measure students' gross motor skills, the TGMD-2 (Test of Gross Motor Development-2) tool was used (Ulrich, 2000). The sample of this study involved 9 students from SLB and 23 students from primary school. The results of this study show that the gross motor skills of children with disabilities are at a very low level, so it is necessary to develop a special education programme focused on improving the gross motor skills of children with disabilities. In addition, these results also show the importance of improving professional skills and understanding of the methods of measuring motor abilities in children with special needs intellectual disability in SLBN C Pembina Malang Regency.

Abstract

The study examines the influence of the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) learning model on social skills and emotional learning outcomes. The study used experimental research with randomized pre-test and post-test control group design, Sampling using random sampling techniques of 34 students in experimental groups and 34 students in control classes. Data collection is done using the questionnaire and sheet of affective field values. Based on the analysis of social skills data with the Mann – Whitney Test and the percentage of affective learning outcomes, the results were obtained that there was an influence of the TPSR model on social skills and emotional learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the TPSR model has an influence on social skills and emotional learning outcomes
