Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the use of application-based augmented reality technology as a learning medium to influence student learning outcomes at MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan Plus Research. This research is a quantitative research using experimental research methods. The experiment used is the use of application-based augmented reality technology as a learning medium which will be carried out in class XI MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan Plus Research. The data collection techniques used in this study used test, questionnaire, and observation instruments. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the research that will be obtained are in the form of the significance of the hypothesis test on the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class after receiving the treatment of using application-based augmented reality technology as a learning medium. Based on the results of a simple linear regression analysis test using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software, the significance value obtained was 0.026 < 0.05. That there was an influence of the use of application-based augmented reality technology as a learning medium on the learning outcomes of MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan Plus Research students

Abstract

The community service program, known as PkM, was carried out in Sipolu-polu, Panyabungan Kota district, Mandailing Natal regency. The program consisted of three stages. The first stage aimed to educate parents on proper child-rearing practices as a preventive measure against stunting. The second stage focused on educating families on the importance of a balanced diet as a preventive measure against stunting. The third stage involved providing support and evaluating the educational activities in collaboration with the village leaders of Sipolu-polu and healthcare workers from the local health center through the Posyandu program. The purpose of this community service activity is to: 1). Prevent stunting in children aged 0-12 years old in the Sipolu-Polu village community, located in the Panyabungan sub-district of Mandailing Natal district, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Stunting is a significant issue in Indonesia, with a prevalence rate above 20%, and it negatively impacts children's development, learning capacity, and future health. 2).Provide education on appropriate child-rearing practices and balanced food selection to prevent stunting.During this program, the PkM team also provided green bean porridge, biscuits, oranges, and apples to all attendees. The series of PkM activities is expected to contribute significantly as a preventive effort against stunting in the future.

Abstract

In the current COVID-19 condition, which requires that learning be carried out by e-learning, students' creativity in learning mathematics is getting lower. To overcome this problem, this study applied the Pair Checks learning model. The objectives of the increase in students' mathematical creativity taught by the application of the Pair Checks learning model, to know the increase in student activity taught by the application of the Pair Checks learning model, to know the improvement of teacher performance in learning mathematics through the Pair Checks learning model. This type of research is Classroom Research. Where the research subjects are students of class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan for the academic year, 2020/2021, totaling 21 students. Data collection techniques and tools are tests and observations. The analytical technique used is descriptive. The results of this study after using the Pair Checks learning model that is seen from the results of the students' mathematics learning creativity test increased with the percentage gain in the first cycle from 61.9% to 90.48% in the second cycle, and the total percentage increased by 28.58%. Student activity in learning increased, this is evidenced by the acquisition of a percentage of 70.47% in the first cycle and 93.9% in the second cycle with an increase of 24.43%. The ability of teachers to manage learning has increased, this is evidenced by the percentage gain of 72% in the first cycle and 96% in the second cycle with an increase of 24%. So the results of this study show that the Pair Checks learning model can increase students' creativity in learning mathematics, student activities in class X MIA 1 SMA Negeri 6 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kasus bullying yang terjadi pada anak-anak di sekolah, yang dimana kasus perundungan ini adalah hal yang serius oleh sebab itu memerlukan tindakan khusus. Bullying adalah suatu perilaku agresif yang hendak merusak, mengganggu dan membahayakan kondisi fisik dan emosional anak. Tujuan dari bullying adalah mendominasi kekuasaan atas diri anak. Akibat dari kasus bullying sangat menimbulkan trauma mendalam pada diri anak korban bullying. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk pencegahan bullying di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang berfokus dalam konteks sosial. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pencegahan bullying merupakan tahap awal yang harus dilakukan, baik dari lingkungan keluarga maupun sekolah.

Abstract

Kegiatan PKM ini akan dilaksanakan bagi warga ‘Aisyiyah di Ranting Kayuombun. Kegiatan di terdiri dari 3 tahapan, tahap pertama mengidentifikasi permasalahan mitra, kedua mendata pelaku UMKM warga ‘Aisyiyah Ranting Kayu Ombun, pembuatan Proposal PkM untuk menawarkan solusi permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra, perencanaan program dan pembagian tugas (job deskripsi) tim dan mitra, mempersiapkan alat yang dibutuhkan untuk pelaksaan kegiatan. Kedua, sosialisasi nilai tambah produk, pemilihan bahan tambahan makanan, sosialisasi merek dan mekanisme pengurusan ijin usaha. Ketiga, Mencatatat kemajuan mitra sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan program.Kegiatan PKM ini mengedukasi 3 hal, meliputi: edukasi nilai tambah, sehingga produk yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai tambah, pelaku usaha memahami arti penting merek dan memahami mekanisme pengurusan merk dagang dan pelaku usaha teliti memilih bahan baku yang aman bagi kesehatan. Dari rangkaian kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh tim PKM 8 pelaku UMKM ‘Aisyiyah Kayuombun mengajukan berkas yang kemudian didampingi oleh tim pengabdian untuk pengajuan nomor induk berusaha (NIB),  dari 8 berkas yang diajukan 4 nomor induk berusaha UMKM ibu’Aisyiyah berhasil terbit atas nama (1) dapur Indah; (2) Asniar Cake; (3)Yuni Cake;(4) Yasmin cake telah terbit Nomor Induk Berusaha. 4 usaha lainnya belum berhasil diproses karena terdapat kekurangan data diantaranya tidak menyertakan email, nomor HP dan nama usaha.

Abstract

Background: This program addresses the low mathematical reasoning ability and minimal technology use at MA Negeri 4 Mandailing Natal by implementing the GeoGebra application. GeoGebra is a dynamic software integrating geometry, algebra, and calculus, helping students visualize abstract mathematical concepts in a concrete and engaging way.Aims: This program aims to examine the significant influence of using the GeoGebra application on students' mathematical reasoning.Methods: This program employed a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample was 30 students from class X MIPA C at MA Negeri 4 Mandailing Natal, selected via simple random sampling. Instruments included mathematical reasoning tests and questionnaires. Data were analyzed quantitatively using simple linear regression analysis.Results: Results showed a positive and significant influence of GeoGebra on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. A simple linear regression analysis yielded a significance value (p < 0.05) and the equation Y = 67.367 + 7.300X. An improvement was also observed descriptively: the number of students who successfully completed the reasoning test increased from 10 (out of 30) in the pre-test to 20 in the post-test.Conclusion: This program concludes that increased GeoGebra utilization is associated with higher students’ reasoning abilities. The findings empirically confirm GeoGebra as an effective pedagogical tool. Therefore, its use is recommended as an interactive mathematics learning medium to help students visualize abstract concepts and improve reasoning outcomes.

Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar di sekolah sangat menentukan keberhasilan siswa. Dalam mencapai keberhasilan tersebut perlu bantuan dan dorongan dari guru serta orang tua. Namun dalam proses belajar di sekolah yang sangat banyak memberikan kontribusi adalah peran guru. Dalam hal ini guru dituntut sedemikian sehingga mampu membawa para siswa menuju keberhasilan dengan demikian maka guru baru dikatakan telah mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut banyak hal yang harus dilakukan guru salah satunya adalah pengembangan bahan ajar. Oleh karena, itu guru harus mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar atau buku paket yang sudah ada semenarik mungkin dengan bahasa yang sederhana dan di desain sedemikian rupa sehingga siswa dapat belajar mandiri disekolah maupun di rumah dengan bantuan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan workshop ini adalah (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para guru mengenai pengembangan bahan ajar. (2) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para guru dalam meningkatakan motivasi belajar siswa. (3) Para guru mampu membuat desain pengembangan bahan ajar semenarik dan seefisien mungkin untuk dilaksanakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Kesehatan Martabe Sipirok. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan ialah berupa workshop. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan, pada bulan Januari - Maret 2016. Dimana kegiatan workshopnya dilaksanakan selama dua hari berturut-turut. Hasil workshop pengembangan bahan ajar ini yaitu bahwa guru-guru di SMK Kesehatan Martabe Sipirok sudah banyak memperoleh motivasi,  informasi/pengetahuan terkait dalam pengembangan bahan ajar dan juga diperkirakan kedepannya para guru-guru khususnya di SMK Kesehatan Martabe Sipirok sudah mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar sendiri. Kata kunci:  Workshop, Pengembangan, Bahan Ajar
