Abstract

SMP Negeri 20 Surakarta does not yet have a structured information system for digitally managing alumni data. Alumni data collection has been carried out manually, which may result in incomplete, inaccessible, and uncentralized data. This study aims to design and develop a web-based alumni information system to facilitate the process of recording, updating, and utilizing alumni data effectively. The development method used is the waterfall model, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The system is built using PHP programming language and MySQL database, and designed with a simple and responsive interface to be easily accessible by both administrators and alumni. The implementation results show that the system can be used to input alumni data, update information, and display data based on certain criteria, such as graduation year. Alumni can also access the system to update their own data independently. With this system, alumni data management becomes more organized and efficient, and can support various school needs such as reporting, accreditation, and long-term relationships with graduates. The system is also expected to be further developed to become more optimal and better suited to users' needs in the future.

Abstract

Background: The anxiety experienced by patients before an MRI examination not only affects the patient's psychological comfort, but can also affect the image results from the MRI. Non-pharmacological nursing intervention to reduce anxiety levels by providing murottal therapy from the Al-Quran Surah Ar-Rahman combined with providing education on MRI examiner procedures. Purpose: To determine the effect of providing Al-Qur'an Surah Ar-Rahman murottal therapy and MRI education on the anxiety level of patients who will undergo an MRI examination. Method: A quasi experiment with a one group pre-post test design. The number of respondents was 65 respondents with a purposive sampling technique, a non-probability sampling technique. The anxiety level instrument uses HARS and SOP for MRI examination education. The data obtained is processed statistically using the Wilcoxon test. Results: The level of anxiety before the Ar-Rahman surah murottal therapy and MRI education was mostly categorized as moderately anxious, amounting to 39 respondents (60.0%) and mildly anxious amounting to 26 respondents (40.0%). After carrying out most of them were categorized as mildly anxious, amounting to 51 respondents (78.5%) followed by those who were not anxious, amounting to 11 respondents (16.9%) and moderately anxious, amounting to 3 respondents (4.6%). Statistical analysis using Wilcoxon obtained a significant p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. Conclusion: There is a significant effect of providing Murottal Surah Ar-Rahman therapy and MRI education on the anxiety of patients who will undergo MRI procedures in the Radiology Department. Keywords: Al-Quran Murottal; Anxiety Levels; MRI Education.

Abstract

Background: Sleep disturbances are common in patients with congestive heart failure (CHF), which can negatively impact quality of life and worsen clinical symptoms. Purpose: To examine the influence of anxiety and family support on sleep quality among patients. Method: The research methodology for this study was a cross-sectional descriptive analytical design. Through the use of a purposive sampling approach, 75 participants were selected for this study. The research instruments used in this study were the HPSS, the MOS Social Support Survey, and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Results: Patients with CHF had a statistically significant correlation between their anxiety levels and their sleep quality (p = 0.032). Patients' sleep quality was negatively affected by their anxiety levels. There was no statistically significant correlation between family support and sleep quality (p = 0.457). Conclusion: In patients with CHF, anxiety levels were significantly correlated with poor sleep quality, although family support was not. Keywords: Anxiety; Congestive Heart Failure; Family Support; Sleep Quality.

Abstract

Physical unpreparedness, manifestations of anxiety, and pain intensity often hinder labor progress, which in turn escalates the risk of invasive medical interventions. Non-pharmacological approaches, particularly through prenatal exercise activities and the use of birthing balls, are considered to have a positive contribution in optimizing labor mechanisms. This study aims to investigate the efficacy of prenatal exercise and birthing ball education on parameters of smooth labor processes in mothers. The methodology applied was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design approach. A total of 62 respondents were involved as samples distributed into the experimental group and the control group. The intervention group received treatment in the form of prenatal exercise and education on the use of birthing balls, while the control group only received standard midwifery care. Data were collected through observations using standardized instruments, which were then analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U statistical test. The analysis results showed a significant difference in the level of smooth labor between the intervention and control groups. Pregnant women who received prenatal exercise and birthing ball education tended to have smoother labors compared to those who did not receive these interventions. It can be concluded that the integration of prenatal exercise and birthing ball education has been proven effective in improving the smoothness of labor. This intervention can be implemented as a safe and beneficial non-pharmacological alternative within maternity nursing care. It is hoped that healthcare practitioners can integrate this program into antenatal care to optimize maternal preparedness for labor.

Stunting was a condition in which a child's growth was slowed due to malnutrition or frequent infections, leaving them at high risk of disease and death. There study was a quasi-experimental study using quantitative methods and a control group approach with pre-test and post-test. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. A total of 37 respondents were selected using a stratified sampling technique. The data obtained were statistically analyzed using the paired t-test and independent t-test formulas. Based on the analysis, the majority of 37 respondents (73%) were 17 years old and over. Furthermore, 91.9% of respondents had high knowledge of stunting prevention, while 8.1% had moderate knowledge of reproductive health. All respondents, or 100% of respondents, had positive attitudes toward stunting prevention. There was a difference in knowledge and attitudes among adolescent girls regarding stunting prevention before and after receiving reproductive health and balanced nutrition education at Sultan Agung 1 Islamic High School in Semarang. Abstract

Based on the 2018 National Health Research (RISKESDAS), the prevalence of doctor-diagnosed diabetes mellitus in Banten province reached 2.1%, slightly higher than the national average. Specifically, in Serang City, the capital of Banten Province, the prevalence of diabetes mellitus shows a number that deserves attention. Data from the Serang City Health Office (2023) shows that non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the most common among the community. As one of the main referral hospitals in Serang City, Sari Asih Serang Hospital also feels the impact of the increasing number of diabetes mellitus sufferers. Based on medical record data from the internal medicine polyclinic, there were 277 patient visits with a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus in the period March to May 2025. Diabetes mellitus sufferers with unstable blood sugar regulation have a two-fold greater risk of experiencing a spike in glucose levels when experiencing stress, compared to diabetes sufferers who have better blood sugar control. Factors that can affect a person's blood sugar levels include lack of exercise, diet, stress, obesity, genetic factors, and consumption of certain medications. The general objective of this study was to determine the relationship between stress levels and blood sugar levels in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study were patients at Sari Asih Hospital in Serang City who suffered from diabetes mellitus. The research sample consisted of 74 participants. The results of the study were carried out with a correlation test with a sig value (2-tailed) of (0.005). So Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between stress levels and blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus controlled at the hospital. Sari Asih Serang. And the correlation coefficient value is known to be 0.005a r= 0.005 (r < 0.05).
