Abstract

This research reveals Malay cultural kinship in the ASEAN region, especially in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam which can be seen in the exchange of students or santri from several allied countries who study or study in neighboring countries, such as Malaysian and Bruneian students. Darusalam who studied and memorized the Koran at Ma'had Al-Mubarak Al-Islami Litahfizhil Quran Al-Karim Tahtul Yaman Jambi. The large number of students from the neighboring country in Jambi is not only an element of kinship and cultural closeness among allied nations but also have their own motivation because of the kinship. This research will look at how the condition of Ma'had Al-Mubarak Al-Islami Litahfizhil Quran Al-Karim Tahtul Yaman Jambi and the motivation of these students so they choose and feel at home studying in Jambi. This motivation consists of a number of affinities such as language, religious schools or sects as well as customs and culture, so that they feel comfortable and feel at home studying in Jambi. Ma'had Al-Mubarak Al-Islami is interesting because it is the destination for students from Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam to study in Jambi. Keywords: Kinship, Culture, Motivation, Students, Santri

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of education costs on school quality in private Junior High Schools. This research was conducted in one of the Junior High Schools in Jambi City. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely observation and interviews. Based on the results of observations and interviews that have been carried out, it was found that there was a direct positive influence between the cost of education on the school quality. High school fees are very influential in carrying out activities carried out in schools to improve the quality of the school. The implication of this research is that efforts to improve the quality of schools can be done through education costs.Keywords: Cost and School Quality.

Abstract

Tujuan riset ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja guru dan kebijakan dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 10 Muaro Jambi. Populasinya adalah seluruh guru sekolah yang berjumlah 71 orang, dengan menggunakan total sampling, menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial melalui bantuan aplikasi SPSS dan Smart PLS 3.2.7. Hasil analisis deskriptif menginformasikan pemetaan masing-masing variabel yaitu kinerja guru, motivasi kerja guru dan kebijakan dana BOS, terlihat bahwa kinerja guru masih relatif rendah/cukup dan kebijakan dana BOS juga masih rendah. Dalam penggunaan, hanya motivasi kerja guru yang termasuk dalam skor tinggi. Motivasi kerja guru (X1) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru (Y) sebesar 0,771 (77,1%). Kebijakan Dana Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (X2) berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru (Y) sebesar 0,161 (16,1%). Kebijakan motivasi kerja guru (X1) dan Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (X2) juga memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru (Y) sebesar 0,755 (75,5%). Disarankan ada kelanjutan penelitian faktor. Hal ini disebabkan, dalam penelitian ini kedua variabel tersebut hanya menjelaskan 75,5% pengaruhnya terhadap terciptanya kinerja guru yang lebih tinggi

Abstract

This research aims to knowing the Influence of Abilities (Ability) in improving Performance Employees in the Institutional Section of Facilities and PKLK infrastructure of the Jambi Provincial Education Office. This study used Descriptive Statistical Analysis Techniques and Regression Analysis Techniques as a Data Analysis Method and Test the Hypothesis. The results of descriptive statistical calculations found that the employees had carried out the Performance well, have the ability which is good. Almost all indicators of the variables studied have met the requirements of reliability and valid. The results showed that Ability work contributes 73.4% to Performance employees in the Facilities Institutional Section and PKLK infrastructure of the Jambi Provincial Education Office. Ability employees who need to enhanced is an ability employees for doing difficult work as well as ability think to doing various kinds of work, through the participation of employees in various existing training activities. To Performance Employees that need to be addressed are those related to the employee's willingness to work beyond the target. Kata kunci: Kemampuan, Kerja, Kinerja.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how PAUD curriculum management in Fania Salsabila Barokah Jambi integrated Islamic kindergarten means management includes planning, implementing, organizing, supervising, and evaluating early childhood education curricula and knowing what problems are encountered in planning, implementing, organizing, supervision, and evaluation of early childhood education curricula. This type of research is descriptive and qualitative to obtain information related to curriculum management. The subjects in this study were school principals and teachers. Data collection techniques are by observing, interviewing, and documenting. Curriculum management is a set of plans and learning regarding objectives, content, learning materials, and the methods used as guidelines for learning activities. The curriculum is structured to realize educational goals that must be achieved and learning experiences that students must obtain. The curriculum applied in the Fania Salsabila Barokah Integrated Islamic Kindergarten, Jambi, is the 2013 curriculum, where education manages the 2013 curriculum by prioritizing needs and achieving goals in the vision, mission, and goals national policies that have been set. Abstract

This study aims to provide insights related to PAUD management to readers, observers, academics, and education practitioners to understand how comparisons are made from various perspectives regarding the human resources of educators and educational staff in PAUD institutions. This research was conducted at Al-Aqsa Kindergarten Jl. Captain A Hasan, Pematang Sulur, Telanaipura District, Jambi City. The time for this research to be conducted was November 2, 2022. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, namely the research method used to examine the natural conditions of objects. Data collection techniques are triangulation (combined), data analysis is inductive/qualitative in nature, and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than generalization. The approach uses a qualitative approach, namely an approach that describes the data descriptively. The results of this study are that the school's efforts to improve human resource management are quite good, this can be seen by the academic atmosphere that is well organized, where this school is still relatively new but has shown good quality, this is evidenced by the large number of students with a large number of students. balanced teachers and the enthusiasm of the community to send their children to the school, where all staff are people who have met the qualifications to work according to their respective job descriptions

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud melihat peran kepemimpinan di sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di sekolah. Sampel didapat dari semua guru SMA Attaufiq di Kota Jambi sebanyak 16 dari sebanyak koresponden didapat 80 point, snowball sampling dan purposive sampling, didapat sampel sebanyak. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan cara wawancara langsung kepada guru menggunakan skala Likert 5 poin, dari penelitian memperlihatkan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sudah mengimplementasikan strategi tepat, mudah diaplikasikan, dan akuntable. Pada penelitian ini guru yang memiliki motivasi kerja yang baik, dilihat dari capaian kebutuhan baik bersifat sosial, rasa aman, penghargaan, dan aktualisasi diri. Selain itu melihat guru yang memiliki motivasi kerja yang baik dilihat pada kinerja, kualitas kerja, ketepatan waktu, dan taat aturan. Diperjelas dari hasil penelitian betapa berpengaruhnya gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru, gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mampu memotivasi kerja guru akan berdampak pada implementasi strategi pada masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Learning motivation has a big role in learning success, basically not every student has high learning motivation. Giving motivation can be tried by Guidance and Counseling Teachers and directions with methods such as lectures, classical education, to the application of exclusive assistance. One of the Guidance and Counseling services that can be applied in increasing student learning motivation is group guidance services using role playing techniques. The purpose of this research is to reveal how much the success of students' learning motivation can be increased through role playing technique group guidance services. The methodology used in this research is quantitative with an experimental approach. Instruments or data collection tools used in the form of questionnaires and analyzed using percentage calculations, normality test, homogeneity test, and t test. The results showed that in general, students' learning motivation increased after being given treatment, which can be seen from the results of the posttest, which is in the very high category with an average result of 93. The value of Ttable with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.05, which is 2.160. ____________________________________________________________ Motivasi belajar mempunyai peranan besar dalam keberhasilan belajar, pada dasarnya tidak setiap siswa memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi. Pemberian motivas bisa dicoba oleh Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling serta pengarahan dengan metode seperti ceramah, edukasi klasikal, hingga penerapan pendampingan eksklusif. Salah satu layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling yang bisa diterapkan dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa merupakan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan menggunakan teknik role playing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan seberapa besar keberhasilan motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing. Metodologi yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Instrumen atau alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket dan dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan persentase, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji t.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara umum motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan treatment yang mana terlihat dari hasil posttest yaitu berada pada kategori sangat tinggi dengan hasil rata-rata 93, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan  hasil hipotesis diketahui Thitung yaitu sebesar 5.792. Adapun nilai dari Ttabel dengan nilai Sig. (2- tailed) 0,05 yaitu sebesar 2,160.

Abstract

Teknologi merupakan sarana untuk menyediakan hal-hal yang diperlukan untuk mempertahankan hidup manusia. Media sosial merupakan media yang berbasis online yang dapat digunakan untuk berpartisipasi, berbagi serta dapat berkomunikasi dengan sesama pengguna lainnya. Salah satu media sosial yang sangat populer yang digemari semua kalangan dari anak-anak hingga orang tua ialah media sosial Tiktok. Tiktok merupakan aplikasi buatan China yang dibuat oleh perusahaan ByteDance yang diluncurkan pada bulan September 2016. Remaja yang terlalu intens dalam penggunaan media sosial tiktok dapat membawa dampak buruk pada kehidupan sehari-harinya dari cara berpikirnya maupun tingkah lakunya serta kepribadian anak tersebut.Jenis penelitian kuantitatif merupakan penelitian yang menekan pada aspek secara objektif terhadap fenomena sosial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian Expost-facto. Pada penelitian ini data yang terkumpul merupakan data dari siswa kelas VIII yang memenuhi kriteria yang sudah dijelaskan sebelumnya sehingga sampel sebanyak 85 siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum tingkat kontrol diri yang diberikan dengan presentase 58,44% yang berada pada klasifikasi tingkat sedang, tingkat intensitas penggunaan media sosial tiktok pada siswa di SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi berada pada tingkat sedang dengan presentase 51,69% hal ini perlu diwaspadai, determinasi berada pada angka 0,227 atau 22,7%. Kriteria menemukan pengaruh determinasi 0,227 atau 22,7 % berada pada kategori cukup kuat (0,17 – 0,49) maka penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kontrol diri (X) terhadap variabel intensitas penggunaan media sosial tiktok (Y).
