Abstract

Lactation management is needed to support the successful management of breastfeeding. Failure of the breastfeeding process is often caused by some mothers who do not understand the correct way to breastfeed. Based on UNICEF data, only 30% of post partum primiparous mothers provide exclusive breast milk, this shows that babies in Indonesia still receive non-exclusive breast milk. The aim of this service is to increase knowledge about lactation management which consists of how to breastfeed, the benefits of breastfeeding, the correct breastfeeding position. The activity was carried out at the Bara Baraya Community Health Center, Makassar City on December 9 2022. The method used in this service was lecture and question and answer which began with a pre-test then providing information and then a post-test with a total of 7 participants. The results of the activity showed that those who had good knowledge before the counseling were carried out were 3 people (42.85%) and after the counseling it increased to 7 people (100%), this shows that the counseling was effective in lactation management for Primiparous Postpartum Mothers

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of inventory turnover and sales growth on profitability in cigarette companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2018-2022. Additionally, the study seeks to evaluate the combined effect of inventory turnover and sales growth on the profitability of these cigarette companies during the same period. The analytical methods employed in this research include a descriptive approach and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that inventory turnover has a significant impact on profitability, with a positive coefficient showing that an increase in inventory turnover is associated with increased profitability. Conversely, sales growth does not show a significant impact on profitability in this model. This suggests that sales growth is not a primary factor affecting profitability, as rising costs associated with sales growth may diminish its positive impact on profitability.

Abstract

Electricity theft is an activity that is detrimental to the state where PLN as the party that distributes electricity has unknowingly lost its main commodity without any reciprocity in the form of payment. To overcome electricity theft, Execution of Electricity Use (P2TL) is carried out. Implementation of Electric Power Use (P2TL) is an activity to control electricity users who do not comply with installation standards. P2TL activities include planning, inspection, technical and/or legal actions and settlements carried out by PLN on PLN installations and/or Electric Power User installations. P2TL activities carried out in the Koba area from October to December 2023 found 3 violations in the area. The kWh saved as a result of P2TL from October to December was 21,480 kWh. From the kWh savings obtained, the highest loss was in October of 0.47% and the loss obtained without P2TL kWh savings was 0.48%. So that the kWh savings obtained from P2TL can reduce Non-Technical Losses. The more P2TL violations are found, the higher the reduction in losses obtained by PT PLN (Persero) ULP Koba.

Abstract

Energy audit is a technique used to obtain the efficiency of a building with a certain method. Continuous research implementation is expected to be able to identify electrical efficiency and the purpose of data analysis is to obtain electrical energy efficiency to calculate the Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) value in the building. Energy audits can also be carried out at any time or according to a predetermined schedule. Regular monitoring of energy usage is a must to find out the amount of energy used in each part of the operation during a certain period of time. Thus, savings efforts can be made.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the nutritional value of fish brain-brain products using milkfish surimi (Chanos chanos.Forskal) as the base ingredient, with variations in fillers such as tapioca flour, egg white, and Eucheuma cottonii seaweed. Three formulations were used: (F1) surimi + tapioca starch, (F2) surimi + egg white, and (F3) surimi + Euchema cottonii seaweed. Proximate analyses were conducted to determine the moisture, protein, fat, ash, and carbohydrate content. The results showed that the addition of various fillers had a significant effect (P>0.05) on the value of protein, carbohydrate and water in the brain. While for fat and ash content, there was no significant effect (P<0.05). The average water content ranged from 66.5% to 72%, with the lowest content in the brain-brain added with tapioca flour. The highest protein content was obtained in the P2 treatment (egg white), which was 18.9%, while the treatment with the addition of tapioca flour showed the lowest protein content of 12.8%. Sensory value using Kruskal waliss treatment that gets a high average value is the aroma, taste, and texture of the addition of egg white fillers, while the texture is with the addition of Euschema cottonii seaweed fillers. Egg white significantly increased the protein content. The best formulation based on nutritional content and panellists' liking value was F2 (Surimi + Egg white). This study shows the potential for the development of milkfish-based processed products that are highly nutritious and functional..

Abstract

PT PLN (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise that provides electricity services to the community. There is an Energy Transaction Section, especially the Loss Control subsection, in this field the main task is to minimize the level of losses that occur at PLN. Large losses can cause large losses to the company. Loss is the loss of electrical energy caused by several factors. Loss is divided into technical losses and non-technical losses. Currently, non-technical losses often occur and contribute quite a large number to PLN's loss data. This loss often occurs due to the actions of several PLN customers themselves who commit violations when using electricity in various ways. There are many types of violations committed by customers when found in the field, one of which is playing with the components on the kWh meter so that this can cause the kWh meter not to calculate energy usage properly and correctly. Of course, this cannot be ignored by the company, therefore at PT. PLN there are also Electricity Usage Control officers. P2TL officers are officers who regulate the use of electricity and ensure that all electricity used is calculated correctly on the kWh meter.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of TikTok promotion, Word of Mouth (WOM), and Brand Image on the purchasing decisions of Somethinc products among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Malikussaleh. Data were collected from 110 respondents using purposive sampling and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that all three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. These findings can serve as a reference for companies in designing effective marketing strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh celebrity endorsement, product knowledge, dan brand image terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Luxcrime di kalangan mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Malikussaleh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan purposive sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden yang pernah melakukan pembelian produk Luxcrime. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruh masing-masing variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa celebrity endorsement dan product knowledge berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, yang berarti semakin tinggi kepercayaan terhadap figur publik dan pengetahuan konsumen terhadap produk, maka semakin besar kemungkinan terjadinya keputusan pembelian. Namun, brand image justru berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, yang mengindikasikan bahwa persepsi yang terlalu tinggi terhadap citra merek dapat menurunkan minat beli, kemungkinan karena adanya ekspektasi yang tidak sesuai. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap strategi pemasaran khususnya pada produk kosmetik lokal dengan menekankan pentingnya pemilihan endorser yang tepat dan peningkatan edukasi produk kepada konsumen.

Abstract

Equal employment and diversity management are important issues in developing equitable human resources. This study aims to examine the legal framework related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and its application in creating an inclusive and discrimination-free work environment. The approach used is a literature study by collecting data from various literature, journals, and relevant regulations. The results of the study indicate that Indonesia has a fairly strong legal basis in guaranteeing equal employment opportunities, but challenges still arise in practice in the field such as discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, and other personal attributes. Effective diversity management requires an organization's commitment to implementing fair recruitment policies, inclusive training, and transparent assessment and compensation systems. From an Islamic perspective, the values โ€‹โ€‹of justice, equality, and respect for human dignity are the moral basis that supports the implementation of EEO. Therefore, the integration of legal and ethical values, both from the state and religion, is very important in creating a healthy and sustainable work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand trust, product quality, and price on the decision to purchase Make Over cosmetics among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Malikussaleh University. This study uses a quantitative method with purposive sampling and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that brand trust, product quality, and price have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions. The stronger the consumers' trust in the brand, the higher the perceived product quality, and the more aligned the price is with the value received by consumers, the greater the likelihood that consumers will make a purchase. This study contributes to the development of marketing strategies and the improvement of consumers' purchasing decisions regarding Make Over cosmetics.
