Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Inpres 2 Besusu. The research employed a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study consisted of all fifth-grade students at SD Inpres 2 Besusu, totaling 19 students. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, in which the entire population was used as the sample due to its relatively small size (fewer than 30 individuals). Therefore, the sample in this study was all 19 fifth-grade students at SD Inpres 2 Besusu. Data collection techniques included a critical thinking skills test, observation sheets, and interviews. The data analysis used in this study comprised descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, assisted by the IBM SPSS Statistics version 30 application. Based on the results and analysis of the research data, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Discovery Learning model on the students' critical thinking skills in class V at SD Inpres 2 Besusu. This can be seen from the posttest results in the IPAS subject, where the average score was 88.37. The Paired Sample T-Test analysis showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This demonstrates that the Discovery Learning model has a positive effect on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SD Inpres 2 Besusu. This research implies that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model can enhance students' critical thinking skills. Therefore, this model can be more widely integrated into the learning process at SD Inpres 2 Besusu to help students develop analytical and more creative problem-solving skills. Additionally, the findings of this study provide a basis for teachers to use more interactive and discovery-based teaching models to improve the quality of education and students' critical thinking abilities in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' ability to think creatively in science learning through the Project Based Learning model for grade V students of SDN 2 Talise. This study uses a type of qualitative research, the subjects in this study are fifth grade teachers and students. The instruments in this study were observation sheets, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model for grade V students of SDN 2 Talise in science lessons with ecosystem material and making ecosystem dioramas is able to have a positive impact on the material that has been delivered. In the learning process students are easier to understand the material that has been delivered and in the learning process students are able to develop fluency thinking skills (fluency), flexible thinking skills (flexibillity), originality thinking skills, and detailed thinking skills (elaboration).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja piutang perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2021 sampai 2024. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder dari laporan keuangan dan laporan tahunan perusahaan yang dipublikasikan melalui situs resmi Bursa Efek Indonesia. Analisis dilakukan melalui tiga indikator, yaitu receivable turnover, average collection period, dan rasio tunggakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan piutang perusahaan mengalami fluktuasi, tetapi secara umum menunjukkan perbaikan. Rata-rata perputaran piutang meningkat dari 33,30 kali pada tahun 2021 menjadi 46,96 kali pada tahun 2024. Average collection period menurun dari 16,97 hari menjadi 10,85 hari, yang menunjukkan penagihan piutang semakin cepat. Rasio tunggakan juga menurun dari 18,66% menjadi 12,46%, meskipun sebagian perusahaan masih menghadapi risiko piutang tertunggak. PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk dan PT London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk menunjukkan kinerja piutang terbaik karena memiliki perputaran piutang tinggi, periode penagihan singkat, dan rasio tunggakan rendah. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya kebijakan kredit dan penagihan yang efektif untuk menjaga likuiditas, mempercepat arus kas, serta meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan modal kerja perusahaan secara berkelanjutan pada sektor terkait nasional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Talking Stick cooperative learning model on students' learning outcomes in science subjects at SDN Tindaki. The background of this research is the relatively low learning outcomes of students in science subjects. Therefore, an appropriate learning model is needed to improve students' understanding and participation during the learning process. This research employed a quantitative, pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest method. The study subjects were 16 fifth-grade students from SDN Tindaki. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, and analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics, including a t-test after satisfying normality test requirements. The results showed that the average pretest score was 56.25, while the average posttest score increased to 81.56. The results of the hypothesis test showed that the calculated t-value (13.27) was greater than the t-table value (2.131) at the 0.05 significance level. This indicates that the cooperative learning model of the Talking Stick type significantly improves students' learning outcomes in science subjects for fifth-grade students at SDN Tindaki.
