Abstract The writing of this paper aims to describe how the needs of visitors about the Tan Malaka collection, describe the process of making annotated Tan Malaka bibliography and describe the constraints and efforts in establishing the Tan Malaka annotated bibliography at the UPT Library of Bung Hatta Proklamator. This type of research is descriptive in that it explains the making of annotated bibliography about Tan Malaka at the Bung Hatta Library UPT. Data collection techniques through direct observation to the location and interviews and data collection by reading and studying sources in the form of books, literature, and teaching materials. Based on the data processed can be concluded as follows. First, the information needs of users about annotated bibliography about Tan Malaka, namely: education, reference materials and research. Second, making annotated bibliography about Tan Malaka has several stages, namely: (a) determining the title of the bibliography, because the availability of books is quite a lot and is a book that is in great demand; (b) collection of library materials or information retrieval, a book about Tan Malaka in the Bung Hatta Library UPT 34 titles; (c) selection of library materials, by checking one by one the Tan Malaka book collection; (d) classification or classification, carried out by using numerical notation sequence numbers; (e) creation of keywords, based on the book's title and the annotation of Tan Malaka's book; (f) index preparation, Tan Malaka's annotated biblographic index consists of author index, keywords and titles arranged in alphabetical order; (g) typing the text, using Times New Roman writing style, font size 12, and space 1; (h) examination of the final bibliographic manuscript. Third, the constraints and efforts in making annotated bibliography about Tan Malaka, namely: (a) the preparation of Tan Malaka's collection of books is irregular and the efforts made are doing stock taking; (b) the collection of Tan Malaka only has 1 copy and the effort to do is take action over the media.Keywords: annotated bibliography; Tan Malaka.

AbstractIn this paper discussed, first compilation of annotated bibliography, both obstacles and attempts in the compilation of bibliography annotated book the subject of human rights collection Library Komnas HAM of Padang. The purpose of this paper is to describe the compilation of bibliography of the collection of human rights subjects in the Library of Komnas HAM of Padang City in order to assist the librarian and librarian in finding the needed information easily and quickly. The method used in the writing of this paper is a descriptive method, which describes the findings or research data. The compilation of an annotated bibliography of human rights subjects in the Library of Komnas HAM of Padang was conducted by collecting data directly from the original source, the human rights subject book at Komnas HAM Library of Padang City. Based on the results obtained, the number of books on human rights subjects amounted to 100 books. Based on the compilation of an annotated bibliography of human rights subjects the collection of Komnas HAM Library of Padang City can be concluded several stages in the making of annotated bibliography: first the title of bibliography is based on the consideration of the availability of books collection with the subject of human rights, the collection of collections by the users based on the most popular information , the need for documentation that includes the collection, processing and storage of information; second collection of bibliography by recording bibliographic data of author's name, book title, and other information such as call number; the third selection of library materials is done by separating books subjected to human rights with books that are not subject to human rights; the fourth grouping or classification is done so that books with the same subject will be grouped in close proximity; the five key word-making is done by describing a subject matter so that the reader can understand and simplify the tracing of information that has been collected in a bibliographic list; Sixth Index compilation based on author index, title index and keyword index; the seven typing bibliographic texts; the eight final bibliographic manuscript examination is done by examining spelling errors and misleading punctuation of points or distances between the less appropriate sentences.Keywords: Bibliography, Book Archives, Library.

AbstractThe goal of this research is to know the internal and external factors in utilizing library collections in the Geringging River MTsN. This type of research are descriptive, research was carried out in October 2018. Research population numbering 226 students. Sample research amounted to 45 students. Sampling techniques using Purposive Sampling. Insturmen research with deployment now. Data were analyzed with the frequency distribution formula in the form of a percentage. Research results through two factors i.e. internal factors (needs, motives and interests) and external factors (the completeness of the collection, pustakawanan skills in serving the users, the availability of on-site appointment back information). From the spread of the now disimpulan that the internal factor of utilization of library collection in Geringging River MTsN Padang Pariaman are in the category of medium with a percentage (51.27%). External factors and the utilization of library collection in Geringging River MTsN Padang Pariaman are in both categories with percentages (62.91%).Keywords: internal factors and external factors of library collections

The purposes of this study were: (1) to describe the librarians challengesâ€™ at PUGB in dealing with the development of information technology, (2) to describe the strategies that undertaken to increase the performance of librarians in facing the development of information technology at PUGB Tanah Datar. Data were collected by using observation method, interviewing with 7 librarians at PUGB. Analysis was done descriptively. The study objective is the strategy of improvement librarians performances at Public Library of Gunung Bungsu Tanah Datar Regency. There are two findings of the study for librarians in dealing with the developmentthere are two challenges for librarians in dealing with the development of information technology; komputer, communicative and knowledgeable librarians. Based on its challenges, it created the strategy for PUGB librarians in dealing with the the developments of information technology. Keyword: library performance; information technology

The purpose of this study is to describe design web as pomotion media collection of naskah kuno Minangkabau at Museum Adityawarman West Sumatera, so that can to acces by users according to online. The Data of this study is colletion of naskah kuno Minangkabau at Museum Adityawarman West Sumatera. Data were collected by using observation and record with staff at Museum Adityawarman West Sumatera. Design web using Adobe Dreamweaver CS5. The findings of the study showed that promotion activity collection of naskah kuno at Museum Adityawarman West Sumatera to worked with socialization method, competition, parade, and to prepare information about cultural tour of Museum Adityawarman on the web Province West Sumatera. This paper discuss about the process of making Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library serves in PT Semen. The aims of this study are to describe (1) the preparation of making Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library serves in PT Semen; (2) making Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library serves in PT Semen. The method used is the desscriptive method. The data collected through direct observation and asking some questions to the librarian in the library of PT Semen Padang. Based on the making Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), it can be concluded that making SOP as follows: (1) the preparation of making Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library serves in PT Semen Padang; first, knowing the requirements, second, evaluating and assessing the requirements, third, choosing the requirements, fourth, choosing the alternative action; (2) making Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) library serves in PT Semen Padang; first, collected the informations, by discussing and interviewing with the head of department; second, making draft, experiments the instrument and asking the approval from the leader, experiments the instrument that exists with the draft of the SOP who have had discussion process; third, making and including the supporting document of SOP, including the supporting documents SOP are UU No. 43 tahun 2007 about library; fourth, includes the officer in making SOP and the persong who legalized it; fifth, includes the date of making, revision, and implementation of that.Keywords: Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), library of PT Semen Padang

This article aims to describe how a mobile library management effectiveness in increasing public interest in KPAD; (2) Describe obstacles encountered in service in increasing public interest in KPAD bookmobile. The findings of the first study, the effectiveness of library management is a business that is achieved by a mobile library to achieve the goal, the goal of improving people's interest should also enhanced their knowledge towards the better. Second, faced in improving the public interest because of the lack of ministry officials visited the village library less because less satisfactory set time, society itself was less satisfying and less interest in reading inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Suggestions that should be done to optimize the effectiveness of library management in raising public interest is to improve the science community itself. One effort to do around the library as a means of informal education, source of knowledge and the dissemination of information is an appropriate means for the advancement of society. This paper discusses about the behavior of information searcher in Public Library in Solok. (1) Describing how the behavior of information searcher in Public Library in Solok: (2) Describing how the availability of information in Public Library in Solok.This research uses qualitative and quantitative method by collecting the data through direct observing, and also direct interview with librarians. Further, the researcher also gives questioner to information searchers who come to Public Library in Solok. The data analysis is done descriptively. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that; First, the behavior of information searchers can be seen the strategy used by the researcher. The source of information that is often used by visitors of the library is textbooks. The information searchers come to the library in order to do their paper or assignment, and also as a place to interact one another. Second, the availability of information is not enough. The visitors of the library stated that if the information is not found in Public Library in Solok, they will go to bookstores. The next is the using of additional equipments. In searching information in the library, most visitors will go directly to bookshelves and find the book by themselves. Keywords: Behavior; information searcher; user; library

AbstractIn this paper discussed about preparation of annotated index and clipping newspapers Minangkabau charge collection Service Library and Kerasipan the city of Padang. The purpose of the writing of this paper are: 1) described the preparation of an annotated index of newspaper clippings and Singgalang Year 2017 Minangkabau charge Collection service of Library and Archival Padang city; 2) describes the constraints of drafting annotated index and clipping newspapers Singgalang Year 2017 Minangkabau charge Collection service of Library and Archival Padang city; 3) and the efforts made in the preparation of an annotated index of newspaper clippings and Singgalang Year 2017 Minangkabau charge Collection service of Library and Archival Padang city method used in the writing of this paper is research methods descriptive data gathered directly from that is the original source, namely newspapers Singgalang Collection Agency library and Archives of the city of Padang.Based on the data Analyzer, few things can be summed up as follows. The first stage in the preparation of an annotated index are: a) doing the observations on the availability of newspapers with the result there are 50 articles Minangkabau charge; b selection) newspaper articles note that newspapers charge article Singgalang Minangkabau; c) newspaper clipping creation contains information about the names of the newspapers as well as Sunrise; d) makes description newspapers listing the day, date, year published, page where articles found; e) make annotations after reading the entire contents of the article; f) determines the keywords that describe the subject matter of the problem of the article; g) making article index surta news which includes provisions in the writing of the author's name, article title and keywords; h) preparation of an annotated index of Minangkabau charge; I) annotated index, typing the title index, an index of author and keyword indices. nKedua, in the preparation of an annotated index and clipping newspapers charge Minangkabau there are obstacles faced as follows: a) constraints at the time of observation is a collection of newspapers; b) constraints at the time of selecting appropriate collection of newspapers. Third, 1) effort can be overcome with a collection of newspapers should be placed and arranged on the shelves neatly collection according to the order of the month and year of publication; 2) and effort can be overcome by grouping newspapers berdasrkan newspapers name, month and year of publication.Keywords: index, annotations, clippings, minangkabau
