Abstract

An effort was made to fulfill one of the citizen's fundamental rights, which was known as the right to acquire health services, and the development of health care was part of that endeavor. In addition, it was an investment made to help promote the growth of the economy and the alleviation of poverty. To improve the general welfare of the community, the Surabaya Neuroscience Institute worked towards implementing various health development initiatives, particularly those linked with neurological conditions. The effectiveness of the Surabaya Neuroscience Institute's staff members was a critical factor in determining its ability to achieve its goals, vision, and mission. In order to reach their full potential, the physicians who worked at the Surabaya Neuroscience Institute needed to maintain a high level of motivation. An effective remuneration scheme will support the motivation of the worker. On the other hand, when it came to the implementation of this compensation scheme, the culture that prevailed in the medical area was quite distinct. In addition to the justice components, the ethical and seniority aspects continued to be very relevant for both the performance of physicians and the remuneration model. The version of physicians at the Surabaya Neuroscience Institute needed to be improved. Thus, this study aimed to develop a motivating compensation system that might do so. In this study, a descriptive qualitative method alongside an in-depth interview was used, and the respondent was chosen using a method known as non-random purposive sampling. A total of six individuals were utilized to represent the population of 19 members at the Surabaya Neuroscience Institute. In light of the findings, an examination of the respondents' points of view revealed that almost all of them believed there was still an issue with the level of motivation exhibited by the physicians working at the SNeI. Concerning the compensation system, the results showed that the design of the financial compensation is deemed suitable. Still, the issue of nonfinancial compensation needs to be studied and improved because it can significantly impact the performance of physicians.

Yogyakarta as one of the leading tourism cities in Indonesia continues to show a trend of new hotel growth in recent years. Even though the Covid-19 pandemic has destroyed the hospitality sector globally, including in Indonesia, it turns out that new hotels are still popping up in this city. This is an interesting phenomenon indicating investor interest in continuing to invest in the hotel sector is still high. In this situation, an innovative strategy becomes a determining factor for the sustainability of new hotels in the hotel business competition. The formulation of innovative strategies cannot be separated from the capabilities of the leaders of these new hotels. therefore, this study aims to observe the performance of 80 new hotels in Yogyakarta. The performance of the new hotel will be assessed from the perspective of leader capabilities which include entrepreneurial resilience and entrepreneurial self-efficacy. The findings of this study indicate that the leader's entrepreneurial resilience has a significant effect on the performance of the new hotels. Leader's entrepreneurial self-efficacy is also found to strengthen the effect of entrepreneurial resilience on new hotel performance.

Abstract

The Theory of Planned Behaviour put forward by Ajzen says that to influence entrepreneurial intentions, there are several factors, namely attitudes towards entrepreneurship, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control. This study aims to analyse how the influence of entrepreneurial characteristics influences entrepreneurial intention. Derivative entrepreneurial characteristics include sociability, planning, leadership, innovation, and risk-taking. The sample of this study were Business School Students at Universitas Ciputra in Surabaya who had taken Entrepreneurship courses up to semester 6 of 190 respondents. The data that has been collected is processed using SEM-PLS. This study concludes that not all elements in entrepreneurial characteristics significantly influence students' entrepreneurial intentions. This is because many students still need clarification about planning the career path they will take in the future.

This research is to examine and investigate the relationship between online reviews, web design, and buying interest in the context of online commerce. The purpose of this study is to investigate and investigate the relationship between online reviews and web design. According to the findings of this research, which employs both qualitative and quantitative methods, user reviews posted on the internet are an important tool for reducing informational inequality. This, in turn, influences consumer trust, which in turn influences the decisions that consumers make when they are making purchases. Concerns, however, including a lack of trustworthiness and the potential of incorrect evaluations, argue for a stronger level of intervention. These concerns call for an intervention level that is stronger. In this context, web design appears as a powerful moderating factor, having the ability to improve purchase confidence and interest by giving an appealing appearance and clear navigation. This can be accomplished through the use of a website that is well-designed. The findings of this study have management implications that can assist the e-commerce business in the creation of customer-focused platforms, ethical content efforts, as well as technological and design breakthroughs that break new ground. These findings also provide a framework for additional research, such as an investigation into the consequences of phony reviews, studies that cross cultural divides, and the development of tools to manage reviews. In general, the findings of the study offer substantial new insights into the ways in which online evaluations and website design interact to form the experience of shopping online. In addition to this, the study offers direction for the development of best practices in this highly competitive and ever-changing sector of the economy.

Abstract

This study examines the complicated relationship between company performance, absorptive ability, and corporate entrepreneurial orientation, taking institutional age into account. This research employs data analysis approaches utilizing variance-based structural equation modeling techniques (PLS-SEM). When absorptive capacity and corporate entrepreneurial orientation are high, firms under 10 years of age are anticipated to outperform older ones. Effective information absorption and entrepreneurial orientation help emerging institutions capitalize on external knowledge and sustain their entrepreneurial spirit. This study underlines the need for empirical research to support theoretical ideas by addressing industry dynamics, organizational culture, and leadership styles. Such a study would inform strategic decision making and organizational practices, helping institutions operate better in dynamic commercial situations.
