Abstract

Universitas Ciputra Surabaya is one of the universities that strongly supports its students to become excellent entrepreneurs by providing entrepreneurship curriculum and real business practice experiences. An entrepreneurial mindset is required to achieve this goal. This research aims to elaborate on the dimensions of entrepreneurial mindset based on previous research findings. Adopting a mixed-method approach on undergraduate students who have taken entrepreneurship courses. Data analysis was conducted through semi-structured interviews and confirmatory factor analysis to test the dimensions of entrepreneurial thinking generated from qualitative research. These were then tested on 100 students enrolled in entrepreneurship courses. The research results indicate two dimensions of entrepreneurial mindset: elaborating mindset with indicators of consideration, planning, and information seeking, and implementing mindset with indicators of action and evaluation. The confirmatory factor analysis results show that the elaborating mindset is focused on planning, such as planning/strategies for starting a business and when to start a business, while the implementing mindset is focused on evaluation, such as always seeing opportunities and measuring these opportunities in starting one's own business. For universities that provide entrepreneurship education, students need to be given materials on creating business plans and evaluating the businesses they are running.

Abstract

Organizational change is an inevitable demand in the era of globalization. These changes can lead to discomfort, which can reduce organizational commitment in each member of the organization. It can happen because everyone in the organization is forced to leave their comfort zone to face new situations. The study was conducted to determine the phenomenon of discomfort in educational organizations that are making changes to the organization and whether this phenomenon influences the work commitment of organizational members. The empowering leadership variable will then moderate the relationship between the two variables. Empowering leadership is a leadership method in which a leader provides opportunities for subordinates to be independent at work (autonomy) and provides development opportunities. This study uses a questionnaire method in data collection and gets 255 respondents from Ciputra school foundations in Indonesia. This study uses SPSS as software in data processing to obtain research results. Based on the results of this study, discomfort does not have a significant impact on respondents who have a high level of commitment but can increase commitment if given empowering leadership. Discomfort cannot have a negative impact on organizational commitment because the majority of respondents' profile factors have strong organizational values, so they have built a commitment to schools. The research results can certainly be implemented by relevant organizations when they want to make organizational changes. Empowering leadership, which has a positive impact on commitment, is useful for accelerating change and keeping members of their organization.

Abstract

In an era of dynamic industrial competition, organizations are required to adopt innovative strategies to improve team performance. The Intrapreneur Bintang Framework emerges as a strategic approach to fostering intrapreneurial behavior within organizations. However, its effectiveness has primarily been studied in SMEs, with limited empirical evidence in large-scale industries such as biotechnology. Grounded in the Knowledge-Based View (KBV), this study aims to examine the influence of the Intrapreneur Bintang Framework on Team Performance, with Knowledge Sharing Behavior (KSB) as a mediating variable and Organizational Culture as a moderating variable. This quantitative study surveyed 106 respondents from five strategic divisions at PT. XYZ (XYZ-01) and employed PLS-SEM analysis. The results indicate that the framework has a significant influence on both KSB and Team Performance, directly and indirectly. However, the mediating effect of KSB is partial and weaker than the direct path. Organizational Culture did not significantly moderate the relationship. Similarly, the control variables of Position Level and Tenure yielded non-significant results, although coefficient directions suggest that junior and non-managerial employees are more responsive to intrapreneurial values. Theoretically, these findings extend the KBV framework by emphasizing the role of social and cultural dynamics in knowledge sharing. Practically, organizations should cultivate a systematic and organization-wide knowledge-sharing culture. Therefore, future research is encouraged to explore how each dimension of the Intrapreneur Bintang Framework can be adapted or restructured, both for upper- and lower-level employees, so that the framework remains relevant and holistic across all organizational layers

Abstract

Manufacturing industries face increasing pressure to adopt green innovation to balance environmental sustainability and competitive performance, particularly in developing economies like Indonesia. This study investigates how dynamic capabilities, influenced by market dynamics and moderated by technological capabilities, green innovation performance in Indonesian manufacturing firms. The research aims to examine the relationships among these variables and their impact on sustainable outcomes. A cross-sectional, multi-informant survey was conducted with 250 manufacturing firms in Indonesia, using validated scales to measure market dynamics, dynamic capabilities, technological capabilities, and green innovation performance. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling. The findings confirm that dynamic capabilities and technological capabilities significantly enhance green innovation performance, with market dynamics acting as a strong antecedent to dynamic capabilities. However, the moderating effect of technological capabilities is weak, likely due to Indonesia’s infrastructural and regulatory constraints. This study concludes that Indonesian manufacturing firms can improve green innovation by strengthening dynamic capabilities and investing in technological infrastructure, despite local challenges. These findings offer insights for managers and policymakers to foster sustainable practices in developing economies.
